Pros: All metal, file quality, size, bokeh.

Cons: Now that the price has come down, nothing.

Opinion: On Sigma FP it's not my ideal lens, it's still an amazing optics, excellent quality across the entire frame, cinematic and progressive blur. Sold to buy the 20mm f2 (already widely recommended on other reviews) which I use with the crop of the sensor at 30mm. For lovers of the category it remains a must have. Rated 9.

Pros: Quality of materials and construction, compactness, diaphragm ring, moderate diameter filter connection, metal hood

Cons: No block on the diaphragm ring. When it is necessary to remove or engage it, given the compactness it takes a little attention to put the fingers to grasp it in the "right" points (but it is not a defect, but a feature)

Opinion: Of this series I bought the focal lengths 24, 35 and 65mm. A generalized evaluation can be made for all three as the performances are superimposable: excellent quality from edge to edge of the frame, absence of chromatic aberrations, flares almost absent (but I did not stress them thoroughly), slight vignetting at full aperture, visible distortion (variable, depending on the focal length). These last two features, however, are not even noticeable by enabling the lens profile of the photo editing software used. Even looking at the image just taken on the display of the machine you do not notice, as you will see the jpg, which is already correct. It lacks stabilization, but having it already on the sensor of my camera body, I can shoot in peace even at low times. I think these are perfect optics for the current mirrorless bodies that are small. The whole is always slender, manageable, not very heavy and not at all showy. I had also paid attention to the "Art" series before their purchase..... But I made this choice not for an economic reason, but for a very important practical feedback: weights! For those who move a lot with the backpack on their shoulders it is not easy to manage 3 or more "important" optics on the shoulders. Then I also saw that, for the type of photography I do the aperture 1.4 I do not need, and f2.0 is more than fine ... The 35mm was the first lens I bought in this series: Love at first sight! After trying it I also had the confirmation of having made a very good choice

Pros: Build quality, sharpness, diaphragm ring, bokeh

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Love at the first shot. I use it on the Sony A7 IV and the files it churns out are great from the point of view of sharpness and colors. The fact of being able to decide whether to use the diaphragm ring on the lens or on A through the ring on the machine I find a not indifferent plus. To the touch this lens returns all the quality with which it was built. Excellent bokeh at full aperture

Pros: Compact, solid, beautiful, precise

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Well done, solid lens, smooth and precise rings. Being able to manage the diaphragms with a ring is an exceptional plus, very precise and pleasant to the touch. The AF doesn't miss a beat, very high image quality. The button for manual focus is very useful. Paired with the Sony A7C it churns out very nice files and maintains a compactness and pocket weight.

Pros: compactness

Cons: distortion

Opinion: Well-constructed lens, with fluid and precise rings. Metal lampshed like the lens body, now a rarity from prestige optics. Used on Sony A7III it is well balanced. Good sharpness and blurry, which become excellent from 2.8 to 5.6 where it give its best. Cold sigma style colors with three-dimensional images despite minimal aperture. Price still high for an f2. Not detected flare even with sun in the center of the lens. The only major flaw is excessive distortion. It corrects itself in posts, but it's a break because you have to update the software, which is often a paid operation. The magnetic cap is cool, but impractical when the lampshade is inserted. I recommend it for those who want to stay light and enjoy all the advantages of today's mirrorless.
