Pros: love high iso and nikon have done good job with live view and fast focus its hard to find a fault with this camera a good investment for your hard nearned dollars

Cons: Release mode dial can be nocked and change to diffrent mode and would have liked if they had kept with compac flash than sd cards they are to small and easy to lose or misplace them

Opinion: since getting the D7000 my photography has gone up a level and i give the camera credit for it long with the new 300f4 lens i look forward to nikons improvement to there cameras in the future it shows they are moveing in the wright directions in mine view what i would like to see them do next is come out with 300f4 with vr that would be a good think

Pros: Reliable and robust. Times from 1/8000. Two SD card slots. Possibility of vertical handle with snap and battery compartment. High autonomy. Excellent ergonomics. Large and bright viewfinder. Excellent high iso yield up to 6400. It weighs the right.

Cons: AF not particularly performing but knowing it you can remedy it without problems. With mixed artificial lights shooting in bursts, cyan/magenta dominants appear, the antiflickering option is missing.

Opinion: Especially taken for indoor sports photos. Predominantly used at 6400 iso to ensure fast shutter speeds with f/2.8 or f/4 lenses. The main advantage was to take advantage of the crop of the APS-C sensor and not have to spend on super bright telecommunications. She has never missed a beat, always ready. The real problem that made me turn up my nose, as anticipated in the cons, were the cyan / magenta dominants when I shot in bursts, even just 2 consecutive shots, this forced me to shoot in raw to correct most of the photos. A problem that only happened in conditions of mixed artificial light when the playing field was badly lit, in the provincial categories it was a standard while in the daylit sports halls it was not noticeable, in sunlight it was perfect. I have always used "single shot" with the central group of points, the other solutions were not feasible in those contexts. I had 2 both with back/front focus problem quickly solved in assistance.

Pros: Robustness, build quality, photo quality, dual SD card slots

Cons: Weight, low-light autofocus

Opinion: Quality, robust camera. This is reflected in the weight. The images are well detailed. The sensor is 16 megapixels and everyone is individually aware if they can suffice. I use it for landscapes and portraits, and in good light, it produces detailed photos. Autofocus isn't always accurate in low light. The tightness of the Iso is good up to 400 (maybe even at 800 Iso but it doesn't drive me crazy), then the detail, in my opinion is unwatchable. I read in the other reviews that the D7100 and D7200 are on another level. For the use I mainly make of it (static subjects), the D7000 is fine. For photos that are a little more dynamic and in darker places (even simply photos in church for communions, baptisms, weddings, etc.,), if I can't use the flash or if I'm far from the subject, I find myself in more difficulty than other people who have more recent and high-performance cameras (in particular cameras that hold better at high Iso and that allow you to shoot at 1600 Iso handheld, without flash, and still get sharp photos). Even the night landscape (camera on tripod, Iso 100 and long shutter speeds), leaves me a bit perplexed, but I could also be unable to make the correct adjustments. For today's price of used cars I cannot fail to recommend it even if, I repeat, I read enthusiastic reviews of the D7100 and D7200 from those who come from the D7000.

Pros: Very versatile camera, which combined with a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 ART gives breathtaking photos worthy of a FF

Cons: ISO at 6400 create some photographic noise, better to set the maximum ISO sensitivity to 3200 and minimum to 100

Opinion: Very versatile camera, which combined with a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 ART gives breathtaking photos worthy of a FF. The best qualities come to the surface especially with street photos, combined with a 35mm f/1.8 gives really beautiful and bright photos. Remember to put the Picture Control on Vivid to enhance the colors. I've been using it for years and I'm fine, the only flaw is the Wi-Fi, but I solved it with a cable for iPhone

Pros: Handy, solid, double ring, bright pentaprism viewfinder, automatic sensor cleaning, dual SD card, monitor covers

Cons: It feels like you're holding a d50 in your hands because of its shape. The shoulder strap, the Nikon lettering darken but I think it's normal. Personal impression.

Opinion: Having used it for some time, hence my late review, I can say that it is superior to the D90 and is similar to the D300s, and on some parameters even superior. Its 16 and broken pixels do its honest job. But a good serious photographer should never rely on this but on something else. It weighs a little less than the declared weight. The EN-EL15 battery lasts exactly a little longer than the OTHER USED ones. I've also experimented with compatible batteries and I've noticed that everything works great, i.e. they last the same as the originals. With the MB-D11 Battery Grip I didn't find any significant differences in durability. This option is left to those who like to be seen or show off, but this accessory is not important. Please always engage the latter gently as the contacts are delicate. Never forget the contact cover, which can come in handy, keep it in its box. The two slots for SD memory cards is a real genius considering that this machine has been placed and considered Entry Level, but I would place it among the semi-professional, this is its real dignified place, without downgrading it. Between various photo shoots, those who looked at the photos did not notice any difference between the FF and APC-S. PS: the monitor cover is another genius from Nikon for years.
