Pros: Very substantial body, fine lenses- I have the 35mm F1.4, and 18-55mm; you do need to read the manual thoroughly for best results.

Cons: There is a need to have every firmware upgrade; Fuji must be congratulated on providing the means to keep at the forefront of progress; I do think that using a tripod suits the camera format for best results.

Opinion: I traded my M6 for the X Pro-1, and I have not regretted it at all; I sold images made with the camera within several hours of acquiring it- surely proof of the pudding ! I found that due to having very large hands, it was necessary to get the grip, which transformed the camera for me, and i also got the thumbs up to fit in the flash bracket; again, a superb piece of kit. Overall, I am pleased with the camera- I will eventually get the 14mm lens, and then I think that wiill be my walkaround outfit !

Pros: Sensor that I still consider one of the best in the Fuji panorama, workable and not heavy files, unique colors (the Classic Chrome profile that will only arrive from XT1 onwards is missing), aesthetics and build quality I think the best ever in Fujifilm's digital production

Cons: The viewfinder today (used in electronics) is not the best, to replace the battery or remove the card you have to remove the (beautiful) sheath.

Opinion: It's 2024, I've had the T5, I use the T1, the H1 and the T3, but if I want to go out and enjoy the moment of setting up the shot to the fullest, I take it with the smaller lenses (18 f2, 35 f1.4 and sometimes the 56 1.2 .. not very small). The final result is remarkable, I often reduce the sharpness to have even more images consistent with the spirit of the sensor. I don't know, I bought it new at the time but I still love it. then are tastes..

Pros: Files, practicality, body aesthetics, small dimensions, opportunity to recreate the film effect, the high iso hold, low cost in the second-hand market.

Cons: Battery, very rich menu, not for large hands (better to engage its hand grip), autofocus not fast.

Opinion: A mirrorless camera designed to make reasoned photography: the beauty or to think well the shot! Very suitable for landscaping and in particular for streeth-photography, the X-PRO 1 is a camera that makes you love the act of shooting as it must be weighed and reasoned. Coming from the analog world, I feel like I'm holding my own film camera. Highly recommended if desired, even for those who want to approach photography for the first time. Vote 10/10.

Pros: Colors , sensor , bnw , engraving file .

Cons: None if you know the uses

Opinion: Pro1 taken only for street , makes fixed pair with my 14 Xf 2.8 . Shooting with that lens I have the maf locked on long distances and the diaphragm closed at f11, with this camera body equipped with handgrip I enjoy looking for puddles taking advantage of the angle of view of 21 mm, I play with the times setting the camera much earlier depending on the idea that jumps into my head. I was amazed by the colors, its whites and blacks in combination with a lens with high micro contrast and a sensor that produces a super engraved file, impressive colorimetry, never seen such a cleaning in complementary colors

Pros: Old style, substance, rendering of files, invitation to "calm" in photography

Cons: Battery, hybrid viewfinder more fascinating than useful, autofocus sometimes dancer

Opinion: Can it make sense in 2022 to buy a Pro-1? For me yes! I approached the Fuji X world with an X-T2 then changed / flanked by two X-T3, but the real object of desire has always been you, the Pro-1, which with its style had fascinated me so much when it was presented in 2012. Today I replaced the fuji with other machines, but when I found a pro-1 second-hand at 170 Euros... I couldn't resist. Purchased to work with old Shneider lenses, those of Kodak Retina, and with vintage Voitglander lenses, such as the 50mm Ultron, it ended up in my travel bag with a 16 2.8 fujinpn with low cost and good yield, forming an excellent combination for the street. Apart from the slightly "poor" battery and a certain operational slowness, it still proves to be a valid machine today; just understand its limits and do not look for performance not within its reach. The Hybrid viewfinder was a great novelty, but on the practical side it is rarely useful, for the rest nothing to say: the files are clean and well balanced and the various keys well arranged, although more than old style have an obsolete appearance. Would I recommend it? If you find it cheap and you have some optics to put on it, why not? It is however a piece of history still able to make excellent photographs.
