I use it mainly for street photography or to document what are the days with loved ones. Considering its age, it can be said that it defends itself very well, many complain about a low battery life, but for the type of use I make of it I have never detected it as a problem, most of the time I have a powerbank with me and when necessary, half an hour is enough to get it back in shape. Combined with some lenses such as the 20mm 1.7 it becomes a perfect point and shoot. The autofocus system like all the lumix of the period from what I understood leaves a little to be desired, a little much perhaps, but in afs with the right lenses (see PanaLeica 15mm) it takes points ... which proceeds to lose as soon as you use it in AFC, really terrifying. The video capabilities can be useful, there is no possibility to use LUTs, there is no way to change the region (25 / 30 fps) except with a factory menu, but as usual, for those who do not need to shoot movies, you can take the job home. The Raw are workable up to a certain point, when you exceed 1600 iso the photos are almost unusable, and in general the highlights are not really recoverable, but you can forgive them all considering that with a steady hand, in night situations you can easily shoot up to 1/40 speed. Screen that is very smooth, quite defined and bright even under the sun. It's flip-up, for me a great advantage compared to articulated screens: the construction is more robust and allows you to shoot in a cockpit, fantastic - inconvenient for selfies and movies, but it's not my field of use. The viewfinder, small but not too much, is particularly criticized, but considering that it is a body intended for a relatively "quiet" use (the contrast AF is performing, but not suitable for fast-moving subjects, and there is a fairly evident shutter lag) for me it is fine, I can use it without problems despite the glasses. The stabilization of the sensor is excellent, even with 45mm I can use incredibly long shutter speeds. For the rest... it's a very compact body, so it lacks a deep grip and I find that its ideal use is with the extraordinary compact fixed dedicated to the M4/3, with long and heavy lenses it would probably be uncomfortable. For me passed with flying colors, found on the second-hand for 250€ in the shop and using it was love at first sight...
