Opinion: I bought this lens convinced that I would get a great lens to use it in birdlife since it came from a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary with Ftz. Used it for a week with Nikon z6ii and I didn't like it. At 500mm not very sharp and with the other focal lengths very soft, AF not a splinter and in addition you risk finding yourself after a couple of months with a lens to have to disassemble and clean due to the amount of dust that infiltrates. In the end I made the return and took back the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary. Waiting until you have some extra cash to pick up a Nikon z 180-600mm.
