Pros: size and weight, image quality, versatility, price.

Cons: in the beginning you have to get used to the 'opening procedure' before you want to shoot a picture

Opinion: This lens is absolutely versatile in use. It can produce sharp immages of unexpected quality in almost every discipline, whitout having to carry a heavy load on your neck. I dumped most of the dslr-stuff I once had after a serious neckproblem. My Lumix GX9 makes a great combination with this lens. Together with its somewhat bigger brother (the 35-100mm) it can be carried in a small camerabag, with a total weight of only 612 grams!! Great choice for travellers and streetphotographers indeed. With some exercising it can even produce some bokeh allthough not being the fastest lens outthere. Take a look at the samples in one of my galleries called 'Lumix G Vario 12-32mm'. Enjoy!

Pros: Economical, compact, sharp, lightweight.

Cons: Lack of MF ring

Opinion: Finding fault with this small and inexpensive lens is difficult, except for the lack of manual focus. For the rest I am fully satisfied with its rendering regarding colors and sharpness. I would recommend it to those looking for a negligible footprint with the camera to always carry with them. It deserves a good grade especially for the honest price.

Pros: Only praise.

Cons: Protected by WWF.

Opinion: I write about this lens because it amazed me like few others. 70 grams, 100 euros used. One thinks of putting little more than a cap in front of the car. Impeccable construction, metal bayonet, excellent rendering such as colors, resolution, definition and optical performance in general. Data that make you forget the low light and some shortcomings such as that of the manual focus ring. I took it to mount on the Pen-F with which it forms an excellent and very compact assembly, like X-100VI. But when I mounted it on the G9II that's where I was stunned. It extracts from that machine every desire for quality on a par with much more named and emblazoned lenses in the catalog. Obviously, the limits of format and brightness remain, but they can be largely overcome, the few times necessary, with appropriate processing software that certainly abounds today. I am sorry that a house so capable of producing certain delicacies has focused on FF mixing with other brands much more famous in that area.

Pros: Extreme compactness

Cons: it has no real obvious flaws

Opinion: I find both the optics and ideally "complete" the basic set up of a 4/3 to always keep in your bag! It covers an interesting focal range useful for coping with many photographic situations, also offering a decent quality (certainly not excellent, but better than I initially expected!). Its extreme compactness is the main feature, it really takes up very little space. Personally I promote it with flying colors, I think it offers an adequate relationship between quality and price which is really low on the second-hand market. I rarely use it now, because I found in the 15mm (fixed and bright) my main reference lens: yet it is comforting to know that I have it in my bag and be able to use it when necessary, it has repeatedly offered me the opportunity to look for interesting photographic solutions (also thanks to the use of nd and cpl filters: very small too!).

Pros: Cheap, very compact (when closed), fairly wide focal range starting from 12mm, stabilized, fast AF

Cons: Plasticotto and darkness

Opinion: lens that costs VERY little for what it offers, has a fast af, is quite sharp, small and light almost like the microscopic 14mm and stabilized. The focal range covered is very versatile. On the other hand, it's decidedly dark on the telephoto side and, as I already wrote in the review of the 12-60mm, I think f/5.6 maximum aperture is too dark on m4/3, at least for my needs... But I think this pancake should be considered when the essential requirement is, in addition to versatility, absolute portability.
