The general quality is good so much that I was thinking of replacing the 24-70 f4 with the big brother 28-75 2,8.For once I was practical and I think I focused on the substance.

Opinion: Having already tried the previous Nikon Z wide-angle lenses the 14-24 f / 2.8 and the 14-30 f / 4 which were both really bad quality and with "coma" present at all apertures, I tried with great interest also this brand new 17-28 f / 2.8. Starting from a focal length a little longer (17mm) it was probably easier to build and in fact I find it a perfect lens. The cost is very different from the other 2, costs almost half and has an excellent value for money. Seeing well the photos produced there is no coma, even at f2.8 works well. The 18-pointed star on the lights is delicate well defined and the lens suffers almost nothing from flare. Mount the convenient screw filters without the obligation to use uncomfortable plates. As weight and size it is little more than a fixed 50ino so it can be said that it is small and light. Who has a mirrorless camera Nikon Z can not do without this lens, also because the other 2 mentioned at the beginning, for me are not to be considered, especially with what they cost I consider them two big flops at Nikon.
