Other lenses sold with 2.8 brightness but which reach perfection at 4 or 5.6... 4 or 5.6 directly!!! Weight and dimensions with lens hood are felt after a while but you get used to it knowing what results you get. I also have the 90/280 which is qualitatively excellent and that combined with the 24/90 offers you a complete set in two lenses to be able to do almost everything. Everyone complains about the prices but... Try to think that these lenses can last for years, covering a range from 24 to 280, you take them by making an effort once and for years you are quiet so much better you can't find!!
