Opinion: I've been using this 35 mm on the M10P for two years and so I'm writing after trying it well, I find that it has a very high resolution with an excellent micro contrast, very natural colors and an absolutely neutral and faithful complexion in color, nevertheless it is not a particularly excessively contrasting lens so as to make any type of PP processing possible. Its reduced minimum focus allows for creativity unknown to other 35mm M-mount cameras. In summary, it's the best 35mm I've ever tried and if it weren't for the cost (which is justified by the construction) it would be a lens to consider without a shadow of a doubt

Pros: Sharpness and microcontrast at the highest level. Nice colors and great bokeh to be a 35mm. Lens with great character (Leica), makes photos never predictable.

Opinion: Lens with exceptional resolution, even at full aperture and throughout the frame. It gives the maximum of itself to f2.8, but maintains very high quality at all diaphragms, both in the center and at the edges. So the aperture should be closed only to increase the depth of field. Microcontrast at levels never seen on other lenses of any brand (the only exception perhaps the Leica Apo 50mm f2 asph.). Very beautiful, warm and saturated colors. Natural and pasty bokeh. Strong three-dimensionality, much more than what you might expect from a 35mm. Goal with a great character. Also interesting is the possibility of focusing up to 30cm. For focusing, from 30 to 70cm you have to use the live view of the camera. I use this lens on an M11 and I must say that the combination is very apt. The only drawback of this optics is the price, but in my opinion, it is still worth it for the overall optical performance certainly out of the ordinary.

Opinion: Noble cousin of the apo-summicron 50mm is a lens with frightening sharpness from corner to angle, especially when associated with the M10-r or Monochrom. The build quality is at the highest levels, like any M lens for that matter, but this allows the maf even at shorter distances than the canonical 70cm of the rangefinder; clearly it focuses using the LV. It is not an indispensable lens in a photographic kit, far from it, in fact the summicron asph has more sharpness than we can use at a fraction of the cost; Personally I took it used mainly as an investment and given the extreme difficulty to find a specimen I am sure that over time the price will certainly not decrease.
