Opinion: Tested with my Fuji X-H2 40 MP. Pros: Sharpness I would say excellent in the center at the corners just close one stop, excellent construction with internal zooming the zoom does not lengthen, reactive AF mounts three internal motors AF, very heavy but I do not know if you can build more compact for the reason many lenses present and zoom with internal construction the zoom does not stretch so you need additional dimensions. Bought used at a great price, it is giving me a lot of satisfaction both in photographic outings of pure pleasure and especially in the workplace. During the use I did not find any particular defects except for the more obvious and inevitable ones of the "bulky and heavy". The autofocus is always precise and reliable, I honestly don't remember hesitation in hooking to the subject. The sharpness is very good already at full aperture and I find the bokeh pleasing. Great construction, nothing to say. Of course, it is an optic that is now in its years (2014) and an update can only improve this already good product. In fact, I preferred to fall back on a used (guaranteed) instead of spending almost twice as much to get a new one and avoid the risk of a hypothetical release of an updated version, finding myself with an "obsolete" goal. But we are talking about a professional lens and it remains in any case a highly recommended choice.
