Basically my 80mm macro becomes a 160mm 2:1 with great AF, tried adding the 11mm ring but it remains great. Certainly adding a teleconverter to be discouraged for fast dynamic photography the Fuji Tc2.0 works with stationary objects where I calmly focus, the 50-140 AF will be a lightning bolt in comparison, personally I am fine on the macro 80 but on a dim zoom I don't see any sense to add a tele Tc2.0 so extreme, the lack of light goes into crisis so I recommend rather the Tc1.4 which is less extreme and takes away less light. It would be better to use it on super bright fixed lenses, but Fujifilm only has one lens of this type, the 200 2.0, which already has the white TC.

Done real tests of birdlife very often it is better to crop rather than mount this 2X. With the 50-140 mm (in my opinion better optics than the 100-400) you can instead get satisfactory files.
