Pros: - extremely useful range 10-24mm, - small, light, comfortable to hold, - fast and silent AF action, - excellent color, contrast and counter-light quality.

Cons: - VERY VERY expensive compared to same quality Canons and Nikons (EUR 950, in Spain), - NOT weather resistant (!!!!!!!), - no proper aperture ring with marked f-stops, - VERY VERY expensive compared to same quality lenses from competition.

Opinion: I think this is one of the best wide zooms for hobby and amateur aps-c sensor available today. But why is it priced like a pro glass ????? And if it is intended for pro, then why is it not weather resistant. ??????? I am, once more, puzzled by Fuji politiks with lenses. Their bodies are meant for (rich) amateurs and I think they are very good in their niche (I have two Fuji bodies now: T2 and T1, and I am considering selling the T1 and buying H1 to replace it (to get ibis)). But Fuji lenses? Fuji lenses are a joke! When they are good, they are not WR, when they are WR, they are dark, when they are not dark, they are extremely heavy ... And whichever lens you chose, they are two times or more expensive than Nikon and Canon glass. I hate this situation. And Tamron and Sigma do not even bother with Fuji lens mounts .... But, 10-24 is, a bloody expensive - and definitely good quality - lens. It gives, sharp, crisp, dynamic and lively images. YES. If I find a s/h one at a reasonable price, I will buy it.

I probably stumbled upon one of the many (too many given what you charge!!) "unlucky" specimens since the loss of sharpness at the edges -at all diaphragms- is often really annoying. I do not have great post-production skills so for me the problem of the flare is unsolvable.... In particular, and it is found everywhere on the net, in the central portion of the image a strange circular chromatic aberration is created to complement the flare. The excursion of the focal lengths is fantastic and the colors beautiful (far from the personality and pastel of a 14f2.8 to be clear). It was my only lens with variable focal length, tempted by the convenience of the excursion, but I keep my 14 .... when I mount it I feel completely safe on the result.

Pros: Excellent focal range, f / 4, color rendering, construction, sharpness, not excessive cost in the used, hood supplied.

Cons: Not WR, obvious distortion at the edges.

Opinion: I had the pleasure of knowing and appreciating this lens grafted on my X-PRO 1 and I must say that they communicate wonderfully. Excursion zoom rather high, it is a valid and reliable travel friend as far as landscape is concerned, even if, it can get by very well and with honor even in streeth-photography. Highly recommended to have it in kit because it does not disappoint. Vote 10/10.

Pros: Great wide angle and excursion

The images are sharp, with a very good overall rendering, fast and precise AF, stabilizer I don't know... I almost always keep it off. I was expecting a lowering of the price after the release of the WR version, but unfortunately it is still a bit expensive, in my opinion. However, it is a product to have, and also unique. I might have preferred it to have had the aperture values printed on the body... I know it was done with the new version... however even so it is very convenient to use. I noticed that it has a very low minimum focusing distance at all focal lengths, which makes it even more interesting. I recommend it without reservation.
