Pros: Quiet, fairly lightweight, dual SD slots, value for money, battery, image quality, size.

Cons: AFC a bit slow, burst shooting at 4.5 fps, low light focusing, maybe a slightly worse screen.

Opinion: I was deciding between Nikon, Sony and Canon to buy an FF camera, and I also looked at the price of the lenses. After a year of use, I am happy with the choice of camera and lenses. It has a solid construction and is easy to handle once you get the hang of the functions. The batteries are very powerful. It has an excellent dynamic range and resistance to high ISO. The colors are simply very vivid and clear. I am slightly bothered by the shadows in some of the shots that I solve in post-production. The perfect camera for those who want an FF. Like all cameras, it also has the shortcomings that I have already listed above. In terms of price and performance, it is better than the competition in the same range, so it is definitely a good choice. Only the Nikon Z lenses are slightly more expensive, but of course they are very good.

Pros: Intuitive menu in Italian, multiple settings easily executed and found in the menu itself. Personally I found the diopter adjustment of the viewfinder, the two slots, efficient.

Cons: Battery with a capacity limited to 2280mah., which induces the purchase of a second compatible with autonomy greater than 2600 mah., rechargeable with USB cable. Ignition switch difficult and hard to activate, (single case ? ) but not encountered by others. CMOS not BSI.

Opinion: Recently purchased used and equipped with the famous mm.50 S- f/1.8 lens always used all RCE, to then be destined for Full-Spectrum modification, I appreciated the clarity of the menu and the simplicity of making the settings, perhaps because I come from a Sony A7 V menu?, and from a second Fujifilm GFX 100S menu ?, in fact it displaced me for the fact that I had several mostly negative prejudices about Nikon. I will update you after a next and more intense use.

Pros: Ergonomics, materials, dynamic range, excellent stabilization, dual SD slots, value for money, image quality

Cons: Autofocus, 4k video with crop

Opinion: Great camera. As soon as you take it in your hand it gives you that right feeling, that desire to take photos. Perfect for those who want to enter the world of Nikon ml ff while keeping costs down. After a few moments to get used to the new system, I began to appreciate it very much. I find it perfect for general photos, landscapes and (static) portraits in particular. With a 50 s 1.8, you get very nice images. Excellent 24 mpx sensor. Although it is not backlit as e.g. Z6II, holds up very well at high ISO. The excellent stabilization allows you to raise the shutter speeds a lot. A sore point.. AF especially in low light. During the day I still managed to get good results in triathlon / motorcycle / various sports races, but with a lot of effort and not using tracking. So if you're looking for something faster, a simple z50ii will do much better. On the 4k video side only in crop. But if it is mainly used for family trips or sports shooting not for work, I find the quality of the video more than sufficient. Very useful double sd slot (one of the reasons for the choice when I bought it), even if I don't understand why the videos are saved only on an sd. It has its flaws undoubtedly. I for one now feel I want something more, but having paid less than 1000 euros new more than 3 years ago, and considering that it is now used at very affordable prices, it is not to be excluded. I will still keep it as a second body or as the main one for city outings/walks. With a 24-70 f4 up front, the size/weight is still very manageable.

Pros: Lightweight, Fullframe sensor handling.

Cons: Af poor AF-c dancer, no physical key Af/Mf

Opinion: It's my first FF mirrorless, I come from a glorious D700, unbeatable for quality. It was a choice to simplify life, much lighter much simpler. Sometimes certain choices disappoint in the long run. I have always had problems with the autofocus which is not as stable and immediate as the D700. For the rest, the files are beautiful and well workable. Very comfortable for its lightness, after a few years I found the solution to make it more ready to shoot. Decent machine. But it makes you regret the D700

Pros: Image quality, full-frame sensor, dual SD card slots, weight and ergonomics, electronic viewfinder with 3.69 million dots and 100% coverage, high ISO capability, intuitive key placement

Cons: No consideration of price/performance ratio

Opinion: The Nikon Z5 is an all-rounder camera dedicated mainly to photography; video shooting is secondary. I have been in possession of it for two years when it was given to me for my birthday and it surprised me a lot as I already had the Z6II. The first thought was to give it back to a dealer and exchange it for some lens but I immediately changed my mind as soon as I had to test it. The parent company - at the time - presented it as 'Entry Level' but, trying it, you immediately realize that it has something more than the "basic" models, designed for beginners: it has a double slot for memory cards, the ability to shoot 4K videos, it has a high-resolution electronic viewfinder that returns clear images, in-camera stabilizer and is sealed against dust and humidity as well as other several features taken directly from its older sister Z6. The Z5's 24.3MP sensor has almost the same resolution as the Z6's (from 24.5MP)The 0.2MP difference results in 6,016×4,016-pixel images for the Z5, compared to 6,048×4,024 for the Z6. However, photos from the two cameras can be printed at the same resolution or cropped without the slightest difference. Having evaluated everything, I kept it as a second body alongside the Z6II and I use it alternating it indifferently with the latter. Ultimately, I'm more than happy with it and, probably, if the Nikon Z5II comes out, I could consider replacing it to have an updated camera body.
