Pros: Ergonomics, minimalism, colors, jpg on board that doesn't need to do anything else

Cons: the red sticker, which must be hidden...

Opinion: For my part, I can only say that showing two photos of the same landscape, taken from the same point with two full frames and the same lens... those who look at the photos, without me saying anything and without asking anything, 99 people out of 100 tell me how beautiful this is... Pointing to the one taken with the SL2-S P.S. can someone help me understand why?

Pros: Ergonomics for a mirrorless camera. Build quality.colors. Jpg in the car. White balance. Serious tropicalization. Fantastic electronic viewfinder.

Cons: A bit heavy for a mirrorless. Manual ISO adjustment only in full stops. AFC can be improved. Fixed screen

Opinion: A serious mirrorless camera that gives you a feeling of enormous solidity just by picking it up. The electronic viewfinder is the best I've tried in more than ten years of using mirrorless cameras. The management of iso even at values of 12500 and above is really good. The files are rich and very workable. In the hand it holds very well and is well balanced even with optics of a certain weight. The battery lasts very little, the autofocus prefers a photograph that is not too dynamic, but all this is fine with me. The thing I really don't like is the fact that I can only adjust the ISO value in full stops if you shoot in manual exposure. Used with Leica M lenses, it conveys all the Leica "flavor" that many love. A great car that is challenging (economically speaking) to dress properly if you want to stay in the context of the German brand.

Pros: -Construction and finishing -DNG on camera -Leica M lens yield -Ease of use -indications in degrees for video

Cons: -ISO full stop manual photos -unworthy flash system -expensive

Opinion: In the cons I put that it is expensive, actually it is built and finished better, than other alternative cameras, assembled in Europe, it can justify a higher price but in my opinion the list should be 25% less (3800 € as I write). The finishing and construction is excellent, you can see from how the tires and joints between the components are arranged, the lens that enlarges the electronic viewfinder does not distort. Although it is a modern Mirrorless, with many functions, the settings for the controls are minimal compared to the Japanese and easily customizable, which is appreciated by using it already after a while, but an extra customizable bezel, but it would have been appreciated. In video mode, you can choose to have the shutter speeds in degrees, when I took it seemed like a markettata, but I must say it turns out to be comfortable. The machine is reactive, from the ignition it is active quickly but not like a digital SLR, the autofocus is not birdlife, but precise, as on the Panasonic. The yield with "problematic" M lenses on non-Leica bodies is at its best. The raw in DNG is appreciated for its compatibility. Dual SD cards, no CFexpress or exotic memory cards. I do not appreciate the manual iso adjustment to whole stops in photo mode, since there is no dedicated ring, it could be customizable in various steps, automatically vary to 1/3 stop. The original neoprene strap is comfortable, well padded, but ugly and poor, something more "premium" could be chosen. The manual is not inserted but must be requested separately (it arrives free on request, in the chosen language but is not in the package). The Leica flash system, for those who need or like all the help in TTL is simply unworthy (then exaggeratedly overpriced).

Pros: construction, image quality

Cons: autofocus, continuous shooting

Opinion: very satisfied, when I look and print the photos made I forget about the defects. excellent image even at high ISO. the autofocus even after the firmware update, remains quite slow. if you are interested in action photos then you have to consider that the shots per second are only 5 with autofocus. moreover, the magazine Reponse photo has tested this data and they are actually 3.3 shots per second.

Pros: Overall quality, viewfinder, shutter button, really effective stabilization, high iso usability, M and third-party optical use

Cons: Improveable ergonomics, lack of sensor cleaning, a little more resolution

Opinion: Thanks to a high level of madness and the possibility of zero-rate financing, with a "resolute soul" I sold some material that I no longer used and, considering the price close to that of a used M10, stabilization and possibility of adapting objectives already in my possession, I took it. Holding it, excellent feeling of grip and balance, front button to enlarge the viewfinder very comfortable but upper keys difficult to reach and, in general, for me that I have medium-small hands maybe some curves in the handle would have improved the ergonomics without distorting the design. Sweatshirt shot, stratospheric viewfinder, very effective stabilizer. Use with Novoflex adaptor with Elmarit 24mm asph M optics, lux 50 asph, cron apo 90 asph. I don't know how they would have gone on the SL1 but they're fine here and I find them very usable. Also tried briefly with MC21 and Canon EF optics hooks well with 16 35 4is, 24 1.4 II, 35 1.4 Sigma art, it struggles a little to hook with 24 105, 100 macro is, 100 400 II and longer focals with 70 200 4 is. In general however slow but precise maf, very usable with static or slow subjects. Amazing iso seal, use with opening priority, limit time 1/60, variable sensitivity and I find it usable up to 16/25000 iso (obviously depends on what you want to achieve) maintaining detail, color capacity and file workability. Beautiful grain but you have to accentuate it by increasing sharpening and contrast. A little more resolution perhaps would have been optimal (30/36 mp?). Satisfied with the purchase aimed above all, as I have already pointed out, at the use of the M optics of my m6 ... the attraction to digital m never took me despite having tried an m8 (asph, body thickness, shooting noise)... availability of stabilization and relatively "affordable" price did the rest. I find it advisable for those who have the same needs as a photoadamator, excellent for image quality and shooting pleasure, grade 9.5
