Opinion: As always Voigtlander never misses a shot, this for me is the fifth lens of the house that I am going to put in my backpack. The 110mm perfectly completed my kit by adding the possibility of taking some macro and still-life details that is always useful. Lens of the highest quality and sharpness. It suffers slightly from flare but nothing excessive and absolutely manageable. The focus and diaphragm like all Voigtlanders is obviously manual, but being native Sony-E it has the exif data communication chip, so in the display you see the value of the aperture, you see the manual focus bar that moves and you see the lens in the exif data of the raw, which is very important and not at all obvious. The macro function that I will use little, I am not a great expert, but here on Juza I have seen some real masterpieces of the genre. Finally, if used as a lens for landscapes, it returns excellent sharpness and microcontrast even at angles from f / 4 onwards even if already at full aperture it already makes very well. The price, for optical quality and all-metal construction with very few tolerances is adequate. It is an entirely different object compared to the Chinese macro mf that have come out lately and frankly the price difference is amply justified.
