In addition to all these qualities, Viltrox sells the lens for 200 euros, with lens hood included, a price that I would say is more than fair. The only defect I could mention is the absence of tropicalization, but for this type of lens and at this price I would not consider it a real defect. In the Nikon Z APSC system it has practically no rivals in the same price range (if you want to spend more there is the Sigma). Very sharp even at full aperture, excellent boken (but not excellent), very light, MAF ring that is better than some nikkor I have from 2k, it is not tropicalized but having a spartan construction without many rings the possibilities of infiltration are minimal, lens hood perhaps a little small, I will reserve the right to test it in backlight. With the XPRO2 the tiny size does not hide the OVF, the blur from the first tests done is not exceptional but very good, pasty just right. A perspective for me that is worth much more than the 169 euros I paid for it new. Perfect for portraiture but also reportage being very discreet. Highly recommended

Opinion: It is part of Viltrox's "Air" series along with the 2.8/20mm and 2.5/40mm. Similar lenses in aesthetics, weight and size, but the 56mm is the only one for APS-C and is the brightest. 84mm equivalent, attached to the Z30 does not look out of place looks like the kit lens. Matte plastic and rough to the touch looks good quality. Metal bayonet (nowadays it must be specified because plastic is rampant) and usb-c connector. It does not have a rear seal, it is not protected from rain and bad weather. 56mm filters. The version for Nikon Z is different from the one for Fujifilm or Sony (the one in the photo to be clear) it is nicer. Manual focusing is facilitated by an excellent voluminous and well-frictioned ring nut. Minimum distance of maf 55cm is not bad for an 84mm although equivalent. Indeed in critical light conditions it can go into crisis but nothing dramatic, neither more nor less than the other two lenses in the kit the 16-50 and the 50-250. It certainly offers much more than what it costs, recommended.
