Pros: Exceptional yield in relation to cost

Cons: Slow in focus. Noisy

Opinion: Good morning everyone. I purchased this lens at a bargain price, used, in excellent condition. Simply spectacular. For years I have been using for macros a handcrafted stuff consisting of a nikor 50 ais forty years ago with closeup rings and self-built flash. For heaven's sake, acceptable but nerve-wracking results in use. Then I finally made up my mind. The tamron has a superb yield, a monstrous definition, all too bright with its 2.8 diaphragm (although at close range, the value increases). Closed between f.16 and f.25 is a razor. Very good auto focus as a definition of edges and contours. On the other hand, we are not in the focus of moving subjects: it cannot hook if it does, nothing is enough to lose focus. In fact I also use it as a portrait lens and even in this field it does not disfigure at all (although the colors are too sharp and takes away naturalness from the complexion of the skin). Noisy but not a big deal, at least for me. In my opinion to be purchased with your eyes closed.

Pros: Value for money

Cons: Lack of a stabilizer

Opinion: A very balanced lens between performance and price. In production for a long time so easily available in used at really very affordable prices. Used in conjunction with the sony A7r3, it solves the sensor's 42mps well. Even the AF (via metabones V) I find it adequate to be a macro target. A bit plastic overall but sufficiently solid the chè makes the optics light and suitable for travel and excursions. I think it suffers a little bit of abberity in the high lights but nothing dramatic. The focus dial has a shot that ensures the rapid transition from AF to MF useful on several occasions. I'm happy with that.

Pros: Great deal and take it Used....

Cons: To find it, I would say the lack of the VC but otherwise no one...

Opinion: I took this Macro lens after so long to reflect, from the excellent retofs and the low cost of the used compared to the new... and also to my availability. Excellent sharpness super if you put it with the three feet, but without also doing its duty the same, just learn and stay still, do not breathe for at least a couple of seconds... and the game and done, great photos, small, light, robust and you put it wherever you want, and always by your side. Thank you... (MGNELLO)

Pros: Very sharp, excellent value for money, tonal and color "macro" magnification ratio 1:1, resistance to flare due to the recessed front lens is very light and well built.

Cons: autofocus noisy (version with spindle) and sometimes hesitant, tonal and color "macros" that is very vivid and contrasty

Opinion: I bought this lens adapter for use with the SEL in attack-ea4 on sony A7 to replace the manual focus, the tamron 90 model 52bb. First impressions are those of a very sharp and contrasty lens, even at the edges and wide open, very suitable to use macros and naturalistic. For general use, covering the landscape and portrait, still consider preferable to the older brother that I will maintain, that has a more natural rendition of the chromatic tonal passages and even without recourse to postproduction. The autofocus has its raison d'etre at normal distances, where it is reasonably fast is accurate; in purely macro is not exploitable, as I believe will happen to any object of this type and focal.

Pros: sharpness already at TA, color rendering, light, excellent quality / price ratio

Cons: autofocus a bit noisy

Opinion: I bought it and I've been trying it for a few days but the first impressions are positive. In principle I can confirm the positive reviews already expressed by other users.rnThe use on DX sensor (Nikon) or APS C and is very versatile, not only for macro but also portrait. Having to do an analysis of the two types of shooting, I would summarize the characteristics.rnMacro: to get to the ratio 1: 1 you have to get a lot closer (30-40 cm from the focal plane) which means going very close with the lens to the subject. Autofocus has some uncertainty, but in any case it is precise, personally I prefer the MF: it has a wide and smooth motorcycle ring. The front lens is placed a lot inside and therefore is protected without necessarily resorting to UV lenses or similar protection. Working in macro the maximum aperture stops at 3.5.rnPortrait: it is certainly not a soft lens and does not have the focus of certain Nikon lenses, but you can adjust well in PP. The color rendering is balanced: it is certainly a good goalwithout fainting with Nikon's expensive optics. Sin does not have the stabilizer. I find instead comfortable the selection system from AF to MFrnNon I still have precise feedback in using against the light or with critical lights: it seems to me that the flare will show up. A last suggestion: before starting to use it I recommend a quick reading at instruction sheet. There are some situations in the use, that if they are not well understood it seems that the lens does not work well or worse, you risk damaging it: see the use of the switch AF / MF and LIMIT / FULL (I will not dwell here in the explanations ) .rnConcluding it is a good goal that can be purchased in shops on the web at favorable prices (even under 300 euros) rnrn
