The viewfinder is definitely mediocre. If I am not mistaken, the sensor is the same as the other A6XXX and like the others it suffers in a rather marked way from rolling shutter forcing very often to use the mechanical shutter. The pros are however many starting from a really good AF. I shot with the 200-600 multiplied by 1.4 and I must say that I have a very high focus photo rating. If the small size is an ergonomic problem, it is also a great advantage in terms of weight and dimensions. Combined with the 18-50 sigma that I own (or similar) you have an instrument with great potential with minimal weight and dimensions. The feeling in the hand is of a solid and well-made instrument that can last over time (construction completely different from the other A6XXX that I had the opportunity to try). The sensor although dated I must say that it remains great even by today's standards. The files have excellent chances of recovering lights and shadows and associated with valid lenses gives sharp and rich shots (for the 24mpx available). The stabilizer helps on many occasions but as proven in other sony machines it does not seem on par with the competition. The ZF100 battery allows you to shoot quietly for a whole day (easily 700-800 shots) and is a huge step forward compared to previous models. Last thing the iso seal that I found good but not exceptional and that does not differ much from what has been seen in other A6XXX models. The battery is infinite.. I've never been able to get to the bottom of it and be without it, which happens to me more or less frequently with reflex canon and nikon. And I've never used USB charging during use.. The car is very small and light, a small box, which is on the one hand an advantage, because it is practically in the pocket of a vest with 18-135, and in the other pocket there is a medium canvas, the Samyang 12mm and the sigma 30mm are in the pocket of the short pants.... On the other hand it is a defect because the grip is not optimal and for example in sports photography it is a disadvantage. I have to say, however, that my Olympus Em1 ii with 12-60 2.8/4 is much lighter than the A6600 with 18-135. I find all the keys very intuitive and comfortable, many of which, not to say all, are customizable to sew it on you at will, and this is a great value. The menu needs to be studied well, it is complex but very rich. The materials with which it is built are discreet, but in my opinion it is not bombproof and marks easily. The battery counter does not dock automatically, which is rather uncomfortable. The digital indication of focus distance in MF is useful, but I would also have preferred a focus magnification greater than 11x. Stabilisation lags behind the competition. It is absolutely not the 5 /5.5 stops declared, but at most 2.5 stops... The more optical dual machine stabilization barely balances the best stabilizations of reflex optics. That is about 4 stops
