Of the goodness of the lens I was sure because I already owned Art lenses on Nikon SLRs, so I did not expect anything more nothing less than what I found, sharpness and blurred beautiful, Af in line with the other Panasonic lenses, heavier and bulkier (especially with the huge hood) of the Lumix S, construction quality at the top. It returns beautiful images with faithful colors. Even some uncertainty of the fire often turns into something magical for the partial blurry, too bad for the minimum focusing distance but is balanced by the many pros of this magnificent lens. As for the difference between the lumixS and the Art I confirm my review on the Panasonic, it is a beautiful lens at a hyper competitive cost, probably without the opportunity of the demo and the price I would not have changed it with the Art, for those who make Video I believe that the Lumix S f1.8, for quality, weight and size are an excellent choice also for use on stabilizers.
