Used first on Nikon D850 and now on Z9 with ftz churns out spectacular rows full of detail and contrast with beautiful colors. Built in metal like the lenses of the past, it has a very fluid and precise bezel that thanks to the focus peaking of recent machines makes focusing very simple. The aperture of f 3.5 makes it excellent in astrophotography and allows exposures of up to 30-40-50 seconds and have the stars always stationary. It is an extremely correct lens from a geometric distortion point of view. It is very complex to use, it must always be put in a perfect bubble otherwise you find yourself with an obvious perspective distortion dependent on the extreme focal length and not on the qualities of the lenses which as I said is indisputable. The vignetting is well present at ta but easily removable in the raw chamber. The only sore point is the resistance to backlight due to the large bulbous lens, the flares are well present and invade the scene if you do not take care to frame without direct light sources. For the rest really spectacular I would just like to see the Xp series with Z attack, gorgeous.
