I bought this lens very compact in size and lightweight, however it looks solid and well made with a front lens that protrudes a lot. The manual use is not very intuitive although the distance scale on the barrel helps a lot in short, a little you have to get used to nothing impossible although some shots out of focus happen. The angle taken is very wide and in the frame you have to pay attention to your feet that it is easy to include in the margin without noticing. Used at full aperture it is not very sharp, an aspect that improves enormously as you close the aperture, from f8 it is excellent. It allows very creative shots by exploiting the distortion typical of this type of lens by putting it off axis with respect to the horizontal plane. Flare acceptable and color rendering a little off. Opinion: Bought for Fuji system. Very satisfied because of the lightness and compactness. Manual focusing is never a problem with these focal lengths and with a mirrorless. The image quality is very good, and it never disappointed me. Very valid also in the night photos of the Milky Way and the starry sky, where it does not leave stricated up to 20-25 seconds of exposure. Over time I have also been able to discover what for me are the two main defects, which may or may not matter depending on the photographic genre that is preferred: 1) the 6-blade diaphragm makes the bright spots at night like six-pointed stars. Ugly. an extra lamella would have been enough to switch to 14 points. 2) I tried to do focus stacking in panoramic images and it is practically impossible, because the two photos (with the focus on the foreground and the one on infinity) do not overlap (focus breathing: the focal length changes as you change the focus).
