The lens itself would be superb, a bit soft at 1.4 but for me it was not a problem, indeed, I am not a fun of absolute sharpness. The backfocus I found though was excessive. A problem that already occurs at short distances, in a reduced way, and then increases at long distances. The beauty is that we don't talk about it... or we don't talk about it enough.
