Pros: Best bokeh: creamy, soft, with large out-of-focus circles, brilliant contrast and colors, very good sharpnes

Cons: Large, heavy and expensive. Electronically driven focus, so you can't adjust the focus when the camera is turned off. Filmsy lenshood, turns while manual focussing the lens, large rear lens element can easily be scratched when mounting the lens, very slow AF for a USM lens.

Opinion: This lens provides brilliant contrast and colors, and very good sharpnes. Even wide open the images are sharp and by f2 the sharpness is very high. Since it is large and heavy and since its AF ist comparatively slow, working with this lens is not always easy but the results are stunning! The lens hood can be easily mounted (clip on) but it is a little thin and flimsy and it rotates with the lens front when used in manual focus mode. Pros: Blur and brightness

Cons: Chromatic aberration if you want to find one

Opinion: Bought it to use it on the Canon R6 with adapter it completely bewitched me. An exceptional lens with a unique blur. Pros: Poetic and blurred like no one

Cons: Slow af and weight but you know well

Opinion: It was a lens that I have long desired. Lover of focal lengths like the 85mm I decided to buy it (late) and I thought everything except having to find myself in front of a lens like this. It has a poetic and a blurred that I had never seen. On FF then he really manages to paint the image. It is certainly an important lens for weight and cost and the AF unfortunately does not help to capture the moment in some situations but I knew this very well. But as soon as you review what is possible to shoot with this lens, you think about nothing but keep shooting to observe once again the way it brushes the image.
