Pros: Sharp, very fast and accurate AF, no AC, perfect diaphragm ring

Cons: Small hood, flare resistance.

Opinion: It's my second viltrox lens. Extremely satisfied with the 23 I took on offer the 13 to 300 euros on the site rollei.comVery sharp, fast, ring in perfect fuji style. It suffers, like many wide angles the flare, I would have preferred a larger hood to protect the lens of side lights. As soon as possible I will try the lens for night photos. Promoted with flying colors.

Pros: Construction on par with the best Fuji, af very fast and silent, extremely sharp at the angles already at f2 but very good even at 1.4

Cons: It is not WR Vignetting even if slight present at all diaphragms

Opinion: I would not like to dwell too much, it looks like a Fuji remarked viltrox, Sharp at all openings The diaphragm ring better than many "natives" Af is nothing short of lightning Fast Manual focus ring perhaps a little little contrasted but pleasant to use AC I have not seen It I use it on XT3 and the dimensions are perfect for portelo grip Ultimately gives a "tactile" pleasure equal to Fuji I am really satisfied

Pros: Sharp.. Always, build quality

Cons: Weight.. for the rest nothing

Opinion: It's my #4 Viltrox lens for Nikon, and it's the best of all. Sharpness immediately already at f1.4, and also at the edges. Exciting use that can be made of it by mounting it also on FF (right cropping). Perfect AF, Nikon-like touch quality, controlled aberrations, very little distortion, warm colors, and the edges are always great. Surprised and satisfied !!!!

Pros: Wide sincere and not distorting, sharp, saturated colors, AC controlled, film use, landscape and even portraiture.

Cons: Overexposure, maybe for me it's even better, as I always tend to underexpose coming from Canon.

Opinion: Lens in pre-order , I will definitely update the review later , I got to analyze the raf with this lens and what to say? I was undecided between the 14 Xf 2.8 and the old Fuji 23 1.4 ... in the end trying on a whim a 35 equivalent with the 23 tt artisan 1.4 , I realized how much I can not communicate with this focal length , for me the 35 remains a wide-angle focal too normal that does not involve me in the story ... so this viltrox from a preliminary analysis , is equivalent to a 20 mm that detaches like an f2 at less than 20 cm of minimum distance , which for me is a further evolution in the ways of expressing myself with my shooting points . I will update the review , after filling the gallery dedicated to the lens

Pros: Construction, sharpness in the center and at the edges already at f/1.4, color rendering comparable to Fujifilm lenses, no chromatic aberrations, bokeh, minimum focusing distance lower than declared, lightning-fast and effective AF even in low light situations, manual focusing accuracy, ease of firmware update via USB-C port, price.

Cons: Nobody. Someone might object to the size, weight and no WR, but this lens has so many positive characteristics, that the rest can be safely left out.

Opinion: Purchased to replace the already valid Samyang 12mm f/2, this lens proved to be an impressive improvement in every respect, leaving out only the compactness and weight, more contained in the Samy. The Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 is an exceptional lens, which theoretically could have been produced by Fujifilm with the same characteristics and marketed at a double list price. For construction, quality of materials, design, finishes, fonts used similar to Fuji, precision of the clicks of the opening ring and focus... it looks like an XF lens in all respects. Tested on X-T30: distortion and AC practically absent, very precise manual MAF, very fast and very quiet AF with the STM motor, which makes it even quieter than any other Fuji (it is not perceived even in the absence of environmental noises). Without having to reiterate all the strengths listed in the 'Pros', but also in relation to the 22cm minimum focus distance, I quietly hooked with the AF an object close to 18.5 cm. Sharp even at the edges already at full aperture, a blade between f/2 and f/5.6. To conclude, although I could dwell on all its characteristics ... not only in my opinion it is a clear improvement towards the Samyang (and the upgrade in this case is absolutely worth it!) and all the other Viltrox produced so far, but also towards the much acclaimed XF 16mm f/1.4 by Fujifilm. With this wide angle you can get closer to a subject practically the same centimeters, with a pleasant bokeh and without those annoying purple and CA fringes of the 16mm Fuji, which I had and which costs more than double. I have not yet tried to photograph starry night skies, but I have read excellent reviews even in that context: coma just mentioned at f / 1.4 and practically absent from f / 2 ... So not only for night photography and panoramas, but also applies to several other perspectives. In short: Viltrox has created a real masterpiece.
