Pros: Sharpness, robustness, build quality

Cons: Weight, autofocus

Opinion: Bought used on RCE, lens in very good condition. Used on Nikon D750 and D810 SLRs. On the first one the AF is slightly more responsive, while on the D810 it was a bit slower. I got rid of the SLR system to switch to ML with the Z6, adapting the Tamron with the help of the FTZII adapter. Things are improved, AF more responsive than using with previous SLRs. The sharpness of the glasses of this lens is beyond question, there is a lot of quality! Soft and smooth movement rings. The positive note is the integrated lens hood, once the cap is removed the lens is ready to use without having to worry about anything else. Weight and stability bearable on reflex cameras, as the balance between the two bodies, camera/lens is almost good. Mounted on the Z6 + FTZII things have changed. The excessive weight of the Tamron 15-30 (about 1.1 Kg.) compared to the camera body makes it a bit complicated to manage the equipment in question handheld. Recently I decided to sell it, also because the tendons in my shoulders have been worn out for a long time. Replaced with the 24-70 f/4 Z and I have to say things have improved by far. Of course, I lost a bit of mm. on the widest focal length, as well as an aperture stop. Basically, I can be very satisfied, both with this lens, but more generally with Tamron products, which today are a tough competitor to deal with.

Pros: The lens works well

Cons: Not very serious company, I will never buy a Tamron again in my life

Opinion: I used the lens with reflex and it worked well, but with Nikon's Z system the autoffocus did not work, I asked for assistance, Designed to make it compatible with Nikon's Z system they asked me € 280 + 20 per shipment, these are crazy, think carefully before buying a tamron lenses, I for my part do not even want to hear about tamron.

Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer.

Cons: None apart from the fact of the cap on the hood that does not disassemble, tropicalization absent, it is not possible to mount filters.

Opinion: Having a childhood friend who owns a photography shop, I have the opportunity to try many lenses, the lens in question I tried on Canon 6D and I can only speak well of this glass. The weight....... certainly you can not have the "full barrel and the drunken wife", if I have to be honest I would have preferred 5 mm more maybe sacrificing the 15 mm, if Tamron had built a lens equal to this, with a constant 16-35 excursion f / 2.8 I would have preferred it. The only defect that in my opinion (if we want to call it a defect) is the rubber cap that covers the hood that remains fixed. Another flaw that is not tropicalized. The quality/price ratio is great.

Pros: Stabilization, sharpness, contrast

Cons: Flare, weight, size, inability to screw filters

Opinion: Got and resold. The lens itself is not bad bad but you have to get used to its weight. If you plan to always use it on a tripod it is great but if you have to take it on the road it starts to weigh as much as two average lenses, 1.1kg are many, both if you put them on a machine with good grip like a Canon 5D and on smaller machines but with less grip like an R6. The stabilization and sharpness are good, minus the behavior with light sources such as the Sun in the frame. It is impossible to mount screw filters which makes plate filters necessary, inconvenient and uneconomical for me. Resold for the Canon 16-35 f/4 L IS as sharper, lighter, compact in the backpack, similar stabilizer and possibility of mounting 77mm filters

Pros: Solid construction, sharpness, low distortion, insignificant aberrations, weight, superior optical quality, stabilization

Cons: No screw filters

Opinion: I took this perspective without expecting amazing things, despite the many positive comments. I use it manually on the Lumix S1. What can I say.. a truly incredible goal. The optical quality is very high already at full aperture, it reaches the best from 5.6 onwards. Sharp throughout the frame, very good details and incisiveness, contained distortion and almost absent in the plane, aberrations very well controlled on highlights and backlight .. I thought I didn't have to change my mind, but I did. I am happily amazed by this lens and just in the focal lengths that I love the most .. I recommend it to anyone and I believe that the new version has been improved in terms of AF speed and robustness. I use it manually, with relative calm. On the 24mp sensor of the S1 it is perfect. When needed, it has excellent stabilization. I forgot, among the merits I also put the weight. The optical quality weighs, and it is good, and the feeling of use that returns a glass like this is unique.

Pros: Optical quality, focal range, known mirrorless compatibility. Good VC although not of the latest generation.

Cons: Tropicalization absent, astrophotography is not his favorite field (inferior to Nikon), but it is still a 15 mm f2.8.

Opinion: I am an advanced amateur photographer, I have always dreamed of owning a quality wide angle, thanks to this Tamron I have achieved peace of mind. In the past I orbited the wide-angle planet thanks to the Samyang 14mm f2.8 and the Nikon 20-35 mm f2.8, lenses that I bought and resold due to dissatisfaction. The Tamron 15-30 mm f2.8 G1 gravitates right near another star. The sharpness at the edges is extraordinary, clearly not up to a more noble Zeiss Distagon from 4000 euros, but analyzing the files I immediately realized that I had in my hands a lens that allows me to express the artistic vein without compromise, even at the most extreme focal length. At full aperture at 15mm the distortion is pronounced, but it makes no sense to talk about it, since I will never fall below f5.6 when collecting a landscape document. At f14 the distortion is noticeable only in the extreme corners of the frame, if there is now a complex object, while the vignetting is imperceptible. The curvature of the field is less pronounced on this lens at 15mm, than it is at 24mm that of the Tamron 24-70 mm f2.8 G1. I owned this last lens, and as good as it is, I consider it inferior to its wide-angle G1 brother. Tamron in fact gives to the very small focal lengths a greater attention than that which it gives to the other two components of the classical triad. The picture is completed by a fast, silent and precise AF, characteristics, these, that I find in all the USD. The only reason why the G2 descendant is superior to him is tropicalization. Although the G1 is also isolated, I will be careful not to expose it even to the slightest rain. Let's also not forget that the lens under consideration is the only one among the G1 to be compatible with Mirrorless systems, which is no small thing given that its latest Achilles heel, the first generation stabilizer, would be elevated to perfection by a possible mirrorless IBIS. Finally, the weight of this lens is truly remarkable, but the quality at 15 mm is paid. It is not a lens suitable for situations of extreme climbing, for the rest, those who want to amaze with landscapes, strengthen their back with passion, and carry it with them at the cost of feeling their legs give way. Lens that therefore requires a good ball head. While I was making the last point, I remember not mentioning one of the outstanding merits: the focal range. The reason why many professionals choose Tamron wide angles lies in the extra 6mm offered on the normal side. Delighted.

Pros: Sharpness. Value for money

Cons: Weight. Cold color yield

Opinion: I came from Nikon lenses and I was looking for a reliable optics that covered the focal lengths that I use the most and hence the choice of this goal. I took it a couple of times to the mountains and I have to say that paired with the D750 gave me great satisfaction. As I am used to I do not feel very well with the rendering of colors, perhaps too defined and cold compared to the Nikon that have a more pasty and warm rendering. Anyone who says that after mounting it no longer removes it I understand... Main new: weight. Paired with FX it splits your neck so much that eper comfortable outings I took a Nikon 28mm series D

Pros: Sharpness, brightness, excellent focal range, construction, stabilization, overall quality, sharpness, vignette and reduced aberrations, colors

Cons: I would say nothing particularly relevant and that was not known at the time of purchase: weight, clutter, impossibility to use vine filters and some flares

Opinion: After 5 months of use on the d750 I am really satisfied with the expense and the excellent value for money of this lens. Convenient focal range, always very sharp even at TA, af that hardly misses a shot, constructive quality and excellent stabilization. Among the flaws (but I knew it already before I bought it), the weight, the footprint and the impossibility of mounting screw filters.

Pros: Solid construction, sharpness, VC, value for money

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Taken for a few months to use on d800 I was fully satisfied. Aesthetically I like it very much, at the first contact in the hand you immediately feel its good solidity, the gravels are quite fluid and precise and using it with care not even the protruding aspheric front lens puts too much "anxiety". The weight is quite important but it goes hand in hand with its really impressive sharpness in the center, slightly less sharp at the edges but I would say that it is so minimal the thing that you do not even notice it. Autofocus is very fast and precise and although the focus is quite short I do not deny that often the VC is useful and does its job in a very good way allowing even freehand shots at 1/10 without problems of chore or micro moved. and on d800 this is a success I would say :D You can only use it with holder and 150x150 slab filters that cost a lot, but I wouldn't define it as a problem this, since when you take this lens you put this in quote too, otherwise you change pattern by veering on lenses that can mount screw filters. The value for money I think is exceptional by placing this lens among the best widecorners now on the market on par with brands and lenses that are much more embossed.

Pros: Sharpness at the center-stabilizer-optical quality of the absolute level (absent aberrations, distortion, coma and vignetting well controlled-price

Cons: Edge sharpness-Flare-Build quality

Opinion: Excellent lens, definitely the one I most loved about Nikon attack (proven on D750). Build quality: 8/10 Although well built for materials and couplings and solid, it has a touch something that puts it a step below the corresponding zoom of the most emblazoned brands (Sony, Nikon, Canon, we do not speak Zeiss). Weight and size for me have never been a problem, I knew what I was buying and that on the wide angle the quality you pay. As well as the use of slab filters for me is a merit: it is a gesture for me beautiful to assemble the holder and work with the filters... Sure they were 100mm to save something would be better, but you can't have it all... AUTOFOCUS (10/10) As far as it can serve on a super wide angle, excellent, practically perfect for reliability, accuracy and speed. I only had some problems with manual focus, especially at night, but I think it is to be attributed to the photographer more than the lens. Image quality (9/10) Very comfortable focal Range that made me often carry it back as the sole goal. VR that helps to compensate the weight in the freehand shots. Excellent sharpness already from the whole opening in the center. My specimen lost a bit ' to the edges as to sharpness and resolution, but only appreciable in prints really extra large. Nothing dramatic, but still present. I could not compare it seriously with other lenses of other brands, but from what little I could see other models even more noble if they pass worse. It suffers from flare, but more than a defect is a feature of super wide lenses, and apparently suffers less than colleagues from other brands. PRICE (10/10) I think there is no better in circulation as a value for money. Since the G2 (optically and mechanically identical) came out this is in the used market at very advantageous prices, if you look for a lens with these features I think it is a "Best Buy"

Pros: Sharpness and great value for money.

Cons: I don't feel like giving...

Opinion: If you want a wide angle zoom with an aperture and a sharpness of the genre you can not fall into the dimensions and the weight; I fell in love with this lens before seeing the Iscatti and then using it almost as the only lens on a Full Frame. I think it has very little to envy as a surrender to large wide-angle mothers houses: sharp on almost the entire image, already good at full aperture, given away simply to change the system... Large and durable, an excellent travel companion: The biggest flaw is the need for a special filter holder and as a result of a set of dedicated filters that is fine until you only usan those, but becomes a footprint if you also use other lenses...

Pros: I'm evaluating it with tests.

Cons: Focus problems, little incisive.

Opinion: I have purchased this 10-day lens for my Nikon D610. After the first shots I noticed immediately sharpness problems right on the point of focus and various distances from the subject. I did some tests on the possible back-front focus problem but I can't correct this focus problem. I'il send it for replacement tomorrow. I hope it is only a problem of this specimen maybe defective factory.

Pros: Excellent goal, for the surrender it offers, for its sharpness and resolve.

Cons: It does not go unnoticed, for the mole and the weight.

Opinion: I've been using it for about 1 year on a Nikon D750 and it's giving me great satisfaction. For the landscape and the night photos is a Mr Objective as the most noble. In landscape photos I use it with holder and filters ND and GND Haida Nano Pro with excellent results. Recently it came out in new G2, but I think that with this VC there are no major differences in the yield, so I recommend this specimen, both for the price both new and in the market and will give you certainly results of which you will be proud:

Pros: Chromatic rendition, sharpness, resolution, absence of aberrations, great quality, price

Cons: Weight? But if you want quality is the Scotto to pay

Opinion: I use it with great satisfaction on d750 for about three months, what about? Great lens, sharpness and chromatic rendition exceptional, contrast and excellent colors, no aberrations, little distortion, I think that among the wide angle is the best on the market today. The only flaw perhaps the weight and the need for a specific holder to assemble the filters for those who use them.

Pros: Excellent sharpness/definition from 2.8, minimum CA, minimum geometric distortions, minimal vignetting, constant quality at different focal lengths, frontal lens protective treatment, fast and precise stabilizer, reasonable price/quality ratio.

Cons: Size, weight, frontal lens exposed (inability to mount screw filters).

Opinion: The lens is extremely sharp and performing, certainly not small and light, but for FF, while being a zoom, it competes quietly, and very often exceeds, the quality of the few high-level alternatives present on the market. Used on Canon MK-III and MK-IV for architectural work, it made me everything that needed a good result. The good quality of the images produced greatly reduces the need for PPD interventions to the benefit of the final rendering of the files. Pros: Very sharp, reduced vignetting, reduced or non-existent distortion in the 15-24mm range, Mighty

Cons: Weight and footprint, no screw filters, very vulnerable front lens, annoying distortion at 30mm, 15mm are only on paper

Opinion: I used this lens for a few years before moving on to the Canon 16-35 f4 IS. The Tamron is really bulky, I often left it at home preferring the fixed, but when I wore it with me I was always satisfied with the shots. Compared to the aforementioned Canon, I think is sharper and much less vignette, despite being a 2.8! The 5mm of difference seem few, but sometimes they feel. The build quality doesn't look great, or better not by the feeling of robustness that give Canon's high end lenses. I recommend it to those who are particularly oriented to these focal lengths, otherwise, if you have 2 or 3 other lenses in your backpack, maybe you will pass the urge and prefer something lighter.

Pros: Sharpness, flare, nocturnal, aperture, color

Cons: Only negative: the CAP!!!!!! Then when I saw it and I bought it I joined also in the gym (a derisory against the qualities it has)

Opinion: I pass by a 70d with 10 -20, after a year arrival with the 5d III and Tammy (coming from a Samyang) total indecision between 16-35/16-28 etc.... after a month I decide to take the step, crazy is to say the least! Precise, fast, what you see the photographer, Versatile..... wait a night (the time just does not love me) to pair it to the Star adventurer, if I can set everything well I'm sure that something unique comes out. It will stay with me a long time!

Pros: Bright, solid, stable, great image quality, accurate focusing. Great value for money.

Cons: doing many night photos (and with manual focus) there is always the risk of inadvertently touching the ring. The point of MAF to infinity is, in my copy, to 15 mm, not aligned with the center of the symbol.

Opinion: I got it mainly for astrophotography (and marginally for daytime landscapes). Are immediately impressed by the sharpness and the micro-images. Other lenses canon must be closed to f/5.6 or f/8 to give the same impact this lens wide open. The quality of image, side-to-side with Samyang 14 mm shows definitely a vignetting much better controlled (over 1 stop) and higher quality. Also the image distortion is more controlled and smooth. As against, I note the extreme sensitivity of the focusing ring and, in the case of my copy, a slight centering problem because the extreme edges in the left side of the frame at f/2.8 have slightly lower image quality than the the right hand side. I have to say that the thing you notice only find a lot and just wide open. The inability to easily mount the filters is not a cons, for me, since I got this lens for other purposes ... However I recognize that it would be nice if you could attach a polarizer or ND at longer focal lengths (i.e. by 24 mm onwards). The bokeh, with 30 mm shots at close range, is a bit erratic ... the subject is off well from the background, but the background remains very recognizable. Certainly the short throw doesn't help. Last but not least: the stabilizer (high ISO) allowed me to take pictures pretty much in the dark, Freehand (gust), time otherwise unthinkable (0.5 seconds and, much more rarely, up to 1 second). I suggest, as always, to be disabled for shots with camera on a tripod because I noticed that can create a small shake (visible in picture).

Pros: Excellent construction. Stabilized. f 2.8. Exceptional sharpness. Extraordinary AF.

Cons: A bit (obviously) heavy. Impossibility to mount screw filters.

Opinion: Received today and tried in night shots. Impressive, really. It has exceptional clarity. Built impeccably and with a very efficient stabilizer. It's really huge, showing all its bulk despite being mounted on a D4. But it makes us forgive, as it repays with its enormous potential. I can not wait to try astrophotography with this gem. It is a lens that should not be missing in an FF kit. Complimentoni to Tamron for these excellences. I will squeeze it during the weekend in diurnal shots.rn10 and praise.

Pros: Excellent in all: sharpness at all lengths and at full aperture, construction, price / quality unsurpassed, some bring it to the nikor 14-24 f2.8 which costs + double, it makes you love immediately

Cons: The weight, but I knew this, so for me no one, even the not being able to use the filters

Opinion: Arrived the first of January 2018 tried and I was pleasantly satisfied in all fields of use, even in difficult light conditions, good resistance to flare, for me it is almost comparable to fixed lenses, with my nikon D750 got married very well , auto focus fast and quiet, and then stabilization works great. for me vote 9.7, it would deserve 10, but I know that for many influences in the vote the weight and the use of the filters.rnI tests in this gallery: https://www.juzaphoto.com/me.php?pg=231020&l = en

Pros: Optical, constructive quality, stabilization, openness, tropicalization

Cons: Nothing ..

Opinion: Wonderful, fast and silent lens, incredible quality, at the ultra-wide angle I think I have the absolute throne.rnThird ciance, tested and had a bit of everyone, from 14-24 to 16-35 nikon and even before 16-16, even the fixed ones, from the 24 sigma art to the ix 15 avuti.rnOther level.rnThe only thing that could be a negative side, I did not write it because i have not yet tested it, is that in the case of humid shots (rain / snow) in the space (the translucent lens) between the front lens and the lens hood could slip the water, so tropicalized to the contrary proof. For all the rest a must have for landscaping..rn for me vote 10.rn

Pros: Sharpness, Stabilization, f / 2.8, Very fast and accurate AF, well-built, tropicalized.

Cons: Nothing relevant, just the size, but were known before buying.

Opinion: I read a review that defines this non-character objective. I was a little surprised.rn this lens has the character to sell and returns extraordinary files. I use it on Canon 6D, i made an opposite choice to many of my friends and forum users, i gave away the EF 16-35 f / 4 of Canon to take this 15-30 f / 2.8.rnAt the beginning I was skeptical, 16-35 is a stratospheric lens, I would be satisfied with results just comparable to Canon to be satisfied with the change.rnI have also always purchased Canon lenses, I hardly buy third-party lenses, but this time I wanted to try and I was impressively impressed. "The big surprise is that the Tamron is always sharp, always open. And even more sharp than the EF 16-35 f / 4.0 I had. The tropicalization is definitely not at the Canon level, but it is still present and there is also the rubber seal on the dustproof attachment and I have never had problems with rain or humidity.rnIt is personally rimasus positively surprised and I can only recommend it to anyone who wants a great lens at all.rnrnrn

Pros: Sharpness, no chromatic aberration, very low edge deformation, solidity and robustness

Cons: Fixed lock loop, weight, front end cap

Opinion: Purchased for a few days instead of Samyang 14mm and I immediately realized the difference. Gorgeous and professional level lens has now become clear. It is a pity for the hood that is fixed because it has sneaked on me and can not be replaced if it does not go to help. Recommended for indoor or astro photography

Pros: Solidity, Stabilizer, Fast AF

Cons: At the moment I did not find it

Opinion: The optics I always wanted. It's heavy, that's true, but it's manageable without major problems. The optic by itself I find it outstanding, the sharpening is incredible. Obviously it is not a beginner's lens, not because of the difficulty that can be caused by its size, but to manage it well on a day of shots. In my opinion, a very successful lens, probably one of the best wonders currently in circulation in my opinion. I can only recommend it!

Pros: Nurturing, Stabilization, fast and accurate Af

Cons: Nothing relevant, just a bit plasticous the barrel

Opinion: I've been promoted to full marks ... after nearly a year of use I can only talk about it well. I use it with D750 and come from Nikon 16-35 f4. The difference is enormous, not so much like sharpness, almost identical, maybe better TA at the edges than Nikon, but as a rendered and chromatic loyalty. It's less contrasted with Nikon's tones more delicate but engraved as it is at the same time. It resolves significantly better than the 24 Mpx of the D750. It weighs a bit more than 16-35, but x me is not a problem. There is no tropicalization, but honestly I used it under zero, with the snow and the rain without problems ... Never wrong One shot, never disappointed.rnReceived, this review is made after almost a year of use in the most varied situations.rnThank you very much.rn agree with who said that it's a 16 or 15 ... this is true unfortunately .. Pros: Few, I was expecting much more to see the price. Made immediately for something that has character

Cons: It has no character. Files that are empty, empty, without a chromatic character.

Opinion: I took this lens convinced of making the right choice, especially after hearing and reading exciting opinions, so I did it after twenty-four hours in favor of something that was of a character. On canon 6D is fine, it's crisp, maybe too. The files are empty, empty, without personality, without a real chromatic character, even closing the diaphragm has the feeling of always having that feeling of dissatisfaction. As if he could do more, but he did not. For me it has no character, not worth it as it costs. The building is all "fuffa", all plastic. Okay is big, huge ... and then? For me it is not worth what it costs to repeat. Better opt for lenses maybe f4 but they have an indisputable character at the chromatic level like the Canon Canon 16-35 f4 is.rnrn

Pros: Sharpness, 2.8, price, ease of use, rays in closed-loop sunshine

Cons: 15mm almost 16, bulge weight, tamron assistance to understand, the lens easily fits in the center

Opinion: I came from 14mm Samyang with whom I always found very well, I changed it because when I photographed with the sun in the scene made the rays in a bad way, the new is appreciative and from that something in the sun. Sharpness is at very high levels at the center that you have edges, compared to the Samyang 14 is much easier to use because the top floor is almost always in focus, it is difficult to explain. I bought the Haida slab system with which I find myself very well and is perfectly matched with tamron, always in comparison with the 14 has a more delicate and visually beautiful flare. I would recommend it, the only real flaw was the Tamron service which on the one hand only spends 180 euros more if it falls and destroys you on the one hand I sent back an optic after 2 months with the lenses off the axis ... so one Part was in focus one part, the left was out of focus. Votes 8 out of 10. The millimeter less than Samyang feels, though taking our hand% 26egrave; Something unimportant, another problem, which is seldom and only in some conditions is the fogging of the lens at the center and internally, so it is just waiting to be taken off, annoying problem if as I get in the good place and with the conditions Good at last;)

Pros: Sharpness, imperceptible distortion and vignetting nonexistent, and at zoom range.

Cons: "Weight"

Opinion: What a fantastic optics, building level, substantial weight but for a lens with f2.8 this hike is that impessabile albeit slight. extraordinary Niditezza already in TA but f4 becomes uniform throughout the frame. But the most impressive thing is the near absence of distortion at 15mm. And then the stabilizer that allow you to also shoot at 1/4 free hand and allow you to make creative shots with moving subjects and background in sharp focus. Great perspective, the board also for the quality / price ratio.

Pros: Sharpness, very low distortion, stabilizer.

Cons: Size, the absence of the ring for filters, Sigma 24 35.

Opinion: already possessed Sigma ART 24 35 but an opportunity has almost forced me to buy also this lens. With the two lenses available was inevitable comparazione.rnInizio with the build quality of a good standard for the Tamron but higher than that of the Sigma! The Sigma gives a feeling of strength far better than the Tamron (and in my opinion also the Nikon counterpart), also in the sigmoid rubber rings are better. Run so much smoother to the touch and the rubber quality migliore.rnCon seems a bit 'of disappointment I found the rings of the Tamron "jerky" not fluid, ditto for the tires that seem a little coarse quality' considered too low the lente.rnA performance category instead if they play almost at par, the Tamron has from its very low distortion even at the lowest focal, very natural colors and excellent contrast. Sharpness good TA that becomes excellent closing as soon as the diaphragm. rnIl sigma wins instead for a slightly better sharpness for 'entire zoom range already in TA but suffers a bit 'distortion to the lowest focal. rnDimensioni: Sigma average size but stocky Tamron mammoth. Weight: Sigma being slightly more content is strongest weight. The Tamron paradoxically "big" being distributes the weight better. I have tried them both on the D5 that perfectly balances the weight of the body machine so I believe the weight and size were not absolutely a problem for both lenti.rnMeglio Sigma or Tamron? In my opinion if you put in first place the practicality and look for a lens that allows you to have one of the most comfortable ever focal excursions for lovers of landscapes and architecture without a doubt the Tamron. rnSe however you can not help but use the filters on the lives and seek the highest possible quality by sacrificing a bit 'of focal length Sigma without thinking twice (maybe to stand alongside the 20 1.4 ART)! rnrn

Pros: color rendering, detail, zoom range, build quality, stabilizer

Cons: Ring for filters

Opinion: I bought this lens with the option of 10-year warranty. I waited a while before making a review to do before some more photos. I use a Nikon D750, I would simply say that it is the top, but obviously some defect is always present, such as lack of ability to mount the classic screw round filters, otherwise you have to choose for a bulkier sheet models and the necessity of its support. In any case it must be considered that other objectives such extreme do not have this possibility (see Nikon 14-24). The weight does not consider it a problem, if you want quality and a perspective where there is matter (lenses and layer construction) has to weigh, but in any case defects are very subjective depending on the type of use that we tend to farne.rnAltra small note, be careful to the light coming on the sides, the objective is protected by the hood but in some cases may cause some internal reflection is given that the lens is very curva.rnPer those inbut the landscapes, street and architecture photo is ottimo.rnL'ho compared with some other optical but I chose this assolutamente.rn

Pros: Sharpness, well corrected aberrations, contrast, stabilizer, aperture 2.8

Cons: A little heavy, but it is normal for this kind of lens

Opinion: I use this lens on d750 for a year and are fully soddisfatto.rnLa sharpness is really good at all focal lengths and apertures. For astrophotography is ideal thanks to vighettatura not excessive and very well correct aberrations. rnAnche the contrast and the colors in my opinion are very belli.rnIn shots freehand in places with little light stabilizer is very useful. Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer, color rendering and quality / price ratio

Cons: It suffers a bit low temperatures

Opinion: I have this wonderful lens for four months and I must say that Tamron has really made a great lens. The only flaw I found was the lack of cold tolerance (on two occasions has formed an inner halo of the lens that has dissolved completely after 20 minutes). Ultimately a great lens with a value for money difficult to match.

Cons: Plate filters 150mm

Opinion: The texture feels and the build quality is much improved compared to other Tamron lenses. Solid and balanced, but by a lens 2.8 this must be required. If the beats very well with the Nikon 14-24 and I do not have much to envy them, each one has its pros and cons. Pros: quality, versatility, speed autofocus, stabilizer

Cons: dangerously fragile

Opinion: I took this lens for a while ', and I use it often on 1dx. The 15mm focal length is great. a very versatile lens and bright. Here we speak of a super wide-angle (15mm), with all the strengths and weaknesses. The lens hood can not be otherwise, or enters the frame. Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I took this view, after a long and careful study between her and the 14-24 NK, I must say that having tried the 14-24, I'm really pleased with the choice because it surpasses the great, it has an amazing rendition, stabilizer very well thought and running, fast auto focus ... rnUsato in low light situations or 0 (milky way) and was released a picture beyond my expectations, perhaps the only flaw are the filters, very expensive plate SW 150, but incredibly useful. rnInsomma a lens to take your eyes closed!

Opinion: I replaced a Nikon 14-24 2.8 went to the cemetery after years of hard work and accumulated barrel. Impressive yield, is a 16mm and 15mm not actually, but they are all sharp and useful 16mm field, no regret for the Nikkor fact, here's a fabulous stabilizer. Pros: Sharpness, Little distortion, excellent colors, phenomenal Stabilization, Comodo range of focal

Cons: Weight and size; only plate filters (expensive)

Opinion: I own this lens for about a year now and I'm very satisfied, crystal clear and very convenient as a range of focal lengths. He did not leak heavy losses in terms of overall performance at the extremes of the zoom range. The weight and the 'certain bulk are there, but are nevertheless well balanced with an FX body and is not much of a problem even use it for many hours. Stabilization phenomenal, especially in video. It is the only small flaw in plate filters (for those who use them) that are a little uncomfortable and very expensive, but worth it ...

Pros: Sharpness, and distortion aberrations almost absent, focal length

Cons: But something is missing ... I do not know what .. And obviously expensive plate filters

Opinion: The goal is in my possession for about a month and tried to stubborn properly ... Actually the yield did not surprise me that much more but only because I had already read and seen photographs made by other users, and then I knew what was waiting for me ... That is a lens from the fantastic clarity, able to reproduce the colors in an optimal manner and with a value for money really good price (the nikon 14-24 much more cost). The expectations have been met. no defects have not noticed remarkable (if I will edit this review) and I find it very convenient being able to move to a position that allows you to work at the top for both landscapes and also for the street. The weight does not think it's a problem for those who buy a view like that, a 2.8 weighs and then those who approach these lenses knows what they are getting ... I have not found "nice" the zoom movement ... Not there was a great feeling by turning from one focal and when I focus always prefer to rely on manual movement ofthe ring but perhaps it is just my determination that when shooting with wide-angle always prefer to do everything in mf ... The stabilization may be used when doing street but honestly it is not the reason why I chose this goal. Ability to shoot even at f 2.8 and thus not only for landscape use, for the stars, and the lack of aberrations cromentiche showy and rainbow made me prefer this lens to Tokina also competitive price compared to Nikon makes it very interesting. .. the purchase of this lens (I love it) but I have not (yet) led to sell 14 tammy 2.8 and / or 1.8 nikon 28 g and I think eventually I'll keep them ... What do you want? Ok the baby is bulky and heavy, is less beautiful than the Nikkor 14-24 and less noble material, but still well made and sturdy ... Pros: Clarity, toughness, good zoom range, good color rendering

Cons: heavy, big, good resistance to flare but not outstanding, cap so-so, no screw-on filters.

Opinion: Start by saying straight away that I mounted on my Nikon d750 and first contact I felt it was really a bell'obiettivo, good construction and plastic materials used, then the weight feels well enough and that means that there is much substance in . In fact that's it, the image quality of this objective is amazing: sharpness, color, focal length (with which you can also do a little street), fast, pleasing bokeh autofocus (mostly 30mm), very little vignetting even sharp enough in the corners and edges. The resistance to flare is good but not exceptional in that it happened to me to find it in some pictures with the sunlight coming from the side (more precisely from my right to 15mm), but I must also say that it was a very discreet flare and easy to remove in post production, in short, nothing irreconcilable. For the rest I can say that stabilization is more comfortable with focal lengths ranging from 24mmto 30mm. It is not a purely objective "by street" but it may very well remain attached to the body for a day (especially when traveling), since you can not very well take the 80% of photos, certainly is not a pure all-rounder, but still managed to meet my needs. Can not mount screw filters, but could never do it because he has a large, round front lens protruding enough from the lens. Finally the cap: they could do very well as a block in the Samyang 14mm, so instead you may easily lose it when mounted. Ultimately I can only straconsigliare this objective that according to many equals the performance of the infamous Nikon 14-24 at a clearly lower price. I have tried the Nikon 14-24mm one time for an hour and of course I would not compare the two goals, I can only say that this is really an excellent Tamron wide zoom at a very affordable price than the competition.

Pros: Sharpness scary, super colors, absence of aberrations, stabilization, resistance to manual flare, 5 year warranty.

Cons: Flashy, big.

Opinion: It 'a fantastic lens, the sharpness is really incredible. Observing the display images on 6d, at maximum magnification, you do not have the feeling to have them enlarged, so much sharper. Optically I not know what to get him defects. Some time ago I watched admired the pictures taken with the Nikkor 14-24, the reference lens in that segment (so far ...). Well, it seems that this Tamron will be taking his place, in many respects is definitely on another level. The much-maligned cap, does not seem bad, rather it is a simple and functional way, to plug. With Canon, especially if there is a deep hood, it is a precision job they snap. The inability to mount a human price filters, for now I do not care. Opinion: Excellent lens. Newly purchased but immediately gave me a good feeling. Fast autofocus and excellent VR. Flare handled very well and I did not notice vignetting d750 also in 15mm F2.8. Opinion: A must-have for nikon d750, mates a fairy tale. I bought so in advance of going on a trip and I used both for the landscape and for the street. It 'a fantastic lens, from every point of view. And 'light, it stabilized (I who have the little hand trembling can also take 1/10 of a second). Pros: Color rendering, low distortion, almost no flare, stabilization

Cons: Perhaps the weight, but for a lens of this kind is normal, inability to mount the filters

Opinion: I own this lens for less than a month, but we have already taken over a thousand photographs. I do not want to be repetitive, so aspects already mentioned in other reviews I have nothing to add: I have found the same qualities. However, one thing that left me pleasantly surprised is the color rendering: bright colors, live, that sometimes you avoid even the intervention of postproduction. Some new, however, is: the weight is considerable and hand feels. The "small" is larger than the brother of focal increased, that 24 to 70 who did so much to talk well in the past and that is part of my kit. However, on a FF as my Nikon D610, all is well balanced and, therefore, at the end you get used. The inability to mount filters is a problem known to all ultrawide, then we fly over. Last observation to do is the near absence of flare. I say "almost" because it can happen to find it, the Maledpound flare: that happened to me in some shots against the sun more or less at noon, but it is nonetheless treated to a very marginal phenomenon that did not compromise the picture. rnrnChe say? I am very happy the shopping done and, if you like ultrawide band objectives, this objective can not miss in your kit
