Pros: Sharpness, colors, autofocus, high iso, dynamic range, etc.

Cons: Curtainless sensor, ergonomics with large barrel optics

Opinion: I come from Fuji x-t3 that as a body was really well done, changed only for the quality and colors of the sensor for me disappointing. This Sony after a few shots made me immediately understand that I am on another planet I like colors very much, super sharpness, infinite dynamic range and high iso unsurpassed if not with much more expensive cameras. The negative sides are the sensor without curtain always exposed to dust as a result of continuous cleaning, the menu not easy to understand at the beginning and the handle too close to the mouth of the optical mount that with optics with a consistent barrel diameter goes to bump against the knuckles of the fingers. For the rest at the moment it is one of the best cameras I have owned.

Pros: fabulous focus. iso high ok, files are razor sharp. excellent price for a ff

Cons: really complex menu, app to connect with wifi to the cell even more

Opinion: I come from a fuji xt20 and I must say that passing to sony the difference is noticeable and as on the quality of the files .. sharp photos and scary focus. holds up great high iso .. it will be that I still have to get used to this camera body but compared to the fuji weighs a bit 'but it is not a problem at all .. the menu is really too complex and poorly structured, as well as the app to connect to the mobile. the keys are a bit small for this camera body! it's still worth it at the current price! sony on quality never disappoints

Pros: File sharpness, excellent high iso tightness, fast focusing.

Cons: Complex menu, keys too small, sensor poorly protected.

Opinion: The judgment after three years is positive, but not completely It is a camera that must be used a lot to master it properly. It is easy to inadvertently change the settings. It produces excellent files with typically Sony colors, a bit cold at least for me who was used to the Canon 6d with which I had a greater feeling that I struggle a little to find with the current one. Although often working without ever replacing the lens, the sensor always has dust dots and this is a serious defect for me.

Pros: Backlit sensor that returns a wonderful file.

Cons: Ergonomics. Menu. Focus

Opinion: Ergonomics truly sacrificed to seek compactness and lightness. Very slow focus when compared to Canon and not only to the 5DMK IV also compared to more obsolete models! The Menu a real puzzle, the advantage is that once you understand how to customize the machine, you almost no longer use it! Overall a good machine, as far as photographic use is concerned, is really difficult to think of a 9.5 as a vote ... Ok the value for money is correct but not stratospheric! Mirrorless undoubtedly has huge advantages over Reflex, but not with a model like this.

Pros: All those already mentioned in recent years ...

Cons: Sensor that tends to capture dust, low resolution EVF.

Opinion: Absolutely responsive machine, an autofocus at very high levels (AF system that over the years has made school), enviable AF-C, exceptional face tracking, it is absolutely a mirrorless still performance, it has held an excellent market value, the only drawback if we want to say it all is the very exposed sensor, so pay attention to dust, the quality and workability of the excellent files.

Pros: General quality of the camera, of the files it produces (even compressed raw), a very full-bodied JPG for those who need it, manageability, autofocus, high ISO seal, in my opinion it has written a page of recent history in the mirrorless field.

Cons: Electronic shutter unusable in many areas.

Opinion: I have this room since 2019, it has made about 1 million and 500 thousand shots (I filled a dozen hard disks) now has various stripping and scratches, it has also taken some blows, but it has never given me problems, I think it is a perfect work tool considering the purchase price. It uses two SD slots that don't cost a ruckus and thus allow me to work with simultaneous backup, without worrying about the number of cards I fill. It is very light and after 12 hours of service (here weddings last a long time) it makes the difference. It has beautiful raw files and with compressed raw you can hardly find the differences, so if you need to save space, you can rest assured of using them. Electronic shutter, obviously totally silent, but the limits of the sensor mean that you can almost never use it, too bad, because in the A9 I always use it. In conclusion: for what is my experience, I consider myself 100% satisfied, when I bought it had no equal in its segment, and even today for those who work there in my opinion it is the best choice, with a right expense you have a professional tool that allows you to deliver excellent photos and leave customers satisfied (especially that almost all of the latter will never notice the difference of a final shot made by an A7iii or a 5Dmkii); that's why I prefer it and I still consider it a valid PROFESSIONAL choice compared to other more modern cameras.

Pros: Overall file quality, easy handling, battery life, value for money, build quality

Cons: Unclear menus, inaccurate displays and EVF.

Opinion: Net of the absolute value of a product, it is also necessary to contextualize the moment in which it is considered. Even today the a7 III is one of the best full-frame mirrorless on the market and between cashback and price drop following the release of the a7 IV, it is almost mandatory to purchase also and possibly as a second camera body, but considering that it is still a respectable and very valid machine. Display and EVF really poor compared to the competition, do not do justice to the raw files (or videos) that you can admire once sitting in front of the PC. Dynamic range and rendering at exceptional high iso, and the famous Sony colors (often criticized regardless of personal tastes) resume a different verve analyzed at a professional monitor. Valid AF, especially if the machine is coupled with native Sony lenses, less convincing with other solutions or with various adapters, but I must take into account the fact that I come from a Canon 1dx Mark II which is a flagship, while the a7 III would be an entry level in the full-frame field. The famous Sony menu, so brainy and sometimes Machiavellian, can be approached in a decisive way by exploiting the "my menu", but in general it is a machine that must be studied well before being used, mainly in the video field, where it behaves in an excellent way as long as you "do not make mistakes" and establish a feeling that leads you to know it thoroughly in order to exploit and appreciate a final file that is not excellent if you look at the data on paper, but very fascinating if managed optimally. Reference machine in its range.

Pros: Size, weight, file quality, Full Frame almost top in its industry.

Cons: Cumbersome menu, display and EVF behind competitors. You have to learn how to use its technology to make the most of it.

Opinion: When I decided to switch from Reflex to Mirrorless I immediately thought of Sony and consequently of this camera, chopped and trimmed on the net with hundreds of reviews. Not being a professional and for how little I have taken in the last three years I can only confirm that it is a really well made, fast and Responsive machine, the focus is crazy (for those like me who had Canon 5 series ..) and does not miss a shot. Excellent also the quality of the file (but personally inferior to the "R" version) and the workability, as well as the seal at high ISO (which in my opinion is still inferior to the canon SLR bodies I had - 6d and 5dmk3). I did not appreciate a cumbersome menu even if customizations come to help. Certainly it is not a "point and shoot" machine, its technology must be managed to be able to exploit it and appreciate its files.

Pros: Machine value for money TOP of the TOP, Holds very well the high iso

Cons: Ergonomics, unmessed menu, more, optical viewfinder

Opinion: Coming from Canon SLRs I must say that the handle of this mirrorless is a bit uncomfortable but you get used to it. Very high performance on almost all fronts. At high iso it works very well and on the market has prices that do not fear any competition. A machine to have if you already own a fleet of sony Emount optics. Hardly with the IV they will do better.

Pros: Responsive autofocus battery life excellent hold at high ISO

Cons: Needless to mention the menu because now even the blind know that it is painful.

Opinion: I bought the Sony A7 III as a replacement for the Nikon Z6 having the Z6 II and I wanted to improve the system as far as nature photography is concerned so I switched to Sony because with Nikon I had a series of problems with the paired Z6II and Nikon 200-500, sold the brick I replaced it with the 200-600 Sony and.... a whole other story. But let's move on to the camera body, the Sony A7 III grips much worse than the Nikon Z6, in fact I had to resort to the battery grip to have a better grip, the buttons seem to have been removed from some children's toys, too small even for me that I have medium-small hands let alone for others. The yield of the sensor in my opinion after several tests I think is very similar if not equal to the Z6 II, excellent hold at high ISO I also shot at 12800 and the files I still find them very clean but be careful because with daylight it behaves very well with the night I have not yet tried but I am afraid that the dark is not his favorite bread. The battery life was a pleasant surprise, considering the use with the display almost always active makes me twice the shots of the Z6. The sore point now known is the menu ...... obscene thing that I have never seen, if it were only for that the vote would be 1 just not to put zero, not by chance the next release of the Sony A7 IIII provides a whole new menu, it would be nice and HONEST by Sony to release an update for the poor unfortunate owners of the series 3 that includes the new menu just to remedy the ca..... ta done so far. As for the autofocus nothing to say, very responsive and if set in the right way does not miss a shot, already ..... but to set the various options depending on the subject you have to resort to the menu, other blasphemies coming soon. In practice, to become familiar with the various items of this damn menu I took a month and I played paradise, fortunately there are various tutorials that come to help but Sony should be ashamed and provide at least to release a PDF that is understandable and equipped with some informative drawing instead of what I downloaded and threw away. Ultimately the total vote is an 8 not to infuriate, also because this body I will use it only for birdlife and once the autofocus is set I no longer move it, in essence a sort of love-hate that could have gone better but all in all maybe over time I will get used to it. Should I recommend it? I do not know, who has in anticipation the purchase is better that first go to the store to feel the product as you do with shoes then decides, I was in a bit of a hurry otherwise I do not know if I would have made another choice but the alternative was the Nikon Z9 that at the moment does not fall within my possibilities so it's okay so.

Pros: Weight, build quality, excellent raw files, lightning-fast autofocus

Cons: Menu and, again, menu, poor ergonomics due to size.

Opinion: I come from a half century of Nikon (from the F to the D750), struck by the possibilities of autofocus, the silent shooting and all the customizations that an ML allows. Now I leave it for the A7 IV and it deserves a comment. For me it was a real leap into the future, shooting in manual and "evaluating" live how the result file will be, forgetting about the light meter, fixing time and aperture for "that" shot and playing on the ISO for the exposure gave a nice qualitative impulse to my shots. It's worth all the money it costs.

Pros: Compactness, lightness, photographic quality, value for money

Cons: Chaotic menu, high probability of dirtying the sensor (lack of protection)

Opinion: Bought in 2018 just released after shooting for several years with Nikon SLRs. Transition from REFLEX to ML: once I decided to switch to FF, due to several night shots to be thrown away due to the low sensitivity to high iso of my D7200, it also seemed to me a good opportunity to change system and type of machine. Personally I think that the electronic viewfinder, the focus peaking and the compactness of the machine are essential elements that have never made me regret the change. Sony A7III review: at the time of purchase Sony was the only one to offer a mature ML FF system both at the level of machines and optics; therefore the choice fell on the FF machine with better quality / price ratio and with a "human" sensor from "only" 24mpx, more than sufficient and that do not require stratospheric optics. Actually the Sony A7III has never disappointed me in terms of performance: excellent high iso resistance, decent stabilization, excellent AF, good ergonomics and customizations. The only real drawback, in addition to the somewhat chaotic menu, is the extreme ease in dirtying the sensor. At the time there were no ML with protection curtain, but today, having to change the system, with I would discard other brands even for this reason. No less important detail: the machine after 3 years has devalued very little on the market (new), a sign of excellent longevity and value hold.

Pros: Autofocus, facial recognition, ergonomics, lightness, ISO performance.

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: After ten years with Canon I made the transition to Sony. The a7III was a camera that I had always heard about well and from the first shots I knew it was the perfect camera for me. Coming from a monster like the Canon 5DMIV (a lady machine) I must say that the Sony A7III in my opinion, beats it on everything! Ergonomics, autofocus, facial recognition, weight, ISO performance, superb Autofocus, never misses a beat. I'm not going to dwell on it also because I don't have the ability to write a review. I can say that I have used it for different works such as ceremonies and live concerts at night, the quality of the images is excellent, especially when combined with GM lenses such as the 24 70 2.8 but what made me fall in love with this machine is the precision of the facial recognition, the track of the subjects and the ISO performance in low light conditions. Personally I have not found any fault for now and I consider it a little jewel of sony house.

Pros: Stabilized, viewfinder, joystick

Cons: Soulless, too compact

Opinion: Big steps forward of the Sony mirrorless system, pushed me to try following a super online price, the A7III. It had everything I wanted, stabilized sensor, a nice viewfinder, a comfortable joystick, a nice grip... a really good file... last but not least a really good af with all the help to make you not miss even a photo! But once again I got bewitched by mom sony. Too much technology that often made me feel in the background; she did everything and as with the previous ones, she was immediately sold. Certainly from the A7 mkI and the A7mkII this is really a remarkable upgrade where everything has been improved. Really complete machine and that even today after 3 years it can be said that it is among the most complete on the market with an incredible price maintenance.

Pros: sensor, af, key customization, excellent and relatively cheap optical park (Sigma DN), battery life, quality-price ratio, buffer, iso yield, accessories, wonderful videos

Cons: viewfinder and rear LCD with little definition, monstrously noisy mechanical shutter, slow unlock button position in an absurd position, lack of smartphone style touch interface, battery charger not included (absurd!), when you empty the buffer the machine does not allow you to do anything, wb not very precise but there is worse around

Opinion: This is my first Sony body. Coming from Nikon for 12 years and tired of the missed promises on the Z system, I tried to land at Sony with this body. What comes to the fore right away is the effectiveness of autofocus. Really impressive to be the "little girl" of sony house. It's probably the thing that impresses most about the machine, and it's the main difference between Z-bodies and Sony, because they're more similar than you think, because they share a good percentage of the hardware. In the passage, there were also cons, starting with the smartphone-style touch interface that is missing on this Sony, and a not-so-excellent viewfinder. Even the WB is not up to Nikon, although it must be said that by setting "white priorities", the situation improves a lot. One thing that's on my OOs is the position of the lens unlock button, only a decebrate could place it there near where you put your hands! Another thing, very LOUD mechanical shutter! The reflex with all the mirror is quieter! Despite the flaws, it is a camera that makes you love for the texture of autofocus and for the beauty of both photos and videos files, with a rather clean audio even in the room.

Pros: Sensor, autofocus, machine body with many keys to customize, tropicalized. Very large optical park. Very high battery life. price

Cons: Poorly defined viewfinder and barely enough LCD as a definition. A big flaw that you never know where the focus rectangle is that unfortunately does not light up.

Opinion: This body I've been using for many years with about 70000 thousand shots to date, I alternate it with 7 RIII which has the same problem as the focus square that does not light up. This feature is important because on many business occasions you don't know where you are with focus and you have to crush the cursor to reposition in the center and then move where you need it as a shot. The problem that sometimes you need quick shots and this slows you down a lot. The viewfinder is just enough as a definition as well as the LCD. The sensor is great allows you to have many details with raw very workable. Really endless battery compared to other brands. A machine valid at a very competitive price that allows you to take superb shots. The optical park is very large both original and third-party. The difficult menu at first but then understood and customized is quite fast and intuitive. The high iso seal is excellent if you shoot in RAW while instead I find the Jpegs a little outdated as colors and not ready to use. The focus is excellent and fails only with little light, while instead the eye and face recognition is very valid. A semi PRO body that I recommend as price and quality.

Pros: Dynamic range, ISO seal, amazing AF, small size.

Cons: Color churning out the sensor, small size (not suitable for my case) metal exterior (winter excursions at low temperatures freezes hands even with gloves), viewfinder in my opinion unwatchable you can see the white pixels of the focus. key position not of the best

Opinion: I am not a professional photographer my type of photo is 80% based on mountain outings, purchased for the sensor and small size, my first mirrorless , made me believe sold after 5 months for switch to R6, used 70 % with sigma ring, canon optics and sigma works perfectly except on the canon 300 L does not work the aF. Let's say one of the worst I've had really poor on quality, 90 % photos taken with the chip, I took sunrises and sunsets without an easel in times never seen before. Photos in the gym always in raw at the maximum shooting speed and made photos always in focus. Particular menu there is everything but a nice mix, I always set the camera before the exits so as not to waste time. I would never have chosen a mirrorless without trying this. Surrendered because of my hands degrees (it was not of my comfort) It left me the feeling that I was not the photographer and that the car did everything her, in av ISO car you can spend the day taking without ever looking at the photos taken you have the confidence to take them all home. The advice for those who want to experience the mirrorless world

Pros: Sensor , Af , stabilizer, optics , video

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Brilliant machine body and with an infinite battery, I love this machine because it has useful potential for any kind of photos, it is a pleasure to buy good lenses for this body especially some Sigma and Samyang i Gm I leave them to those who have A1 or A9ii, I believe that nano zeiss and 55 are the only exceptions at least for me .

Pros: Lightning fast and precise AF, wonderful dynamic range, ISO seal, file cleaning, customizable keys, autonomy

Cons: EVF not up to scratch, missing charger, slow

Opinion: A choice, that for this A7III, the result of a long reasoning. After years of Reflex Canon I felt the need to change, first in the dimensions and then in the reliability of an AF that with 6D began to stay very tight. It is an entry level only on paper and the definition of the parent company really makes you smile if we think that it is still a machine body of almost 2 thousand € on which the competition has taken a couple of years to bridge the gap. The autofocus, fast and reliable, is in some respects moving: for those coming from the reflex world it is an embarrassing leap forward and allows you to shoot with much more tranquility knowing that you can take the shot home. Raw are of considerable cleanliness and workability and at high ISO allows you to continue shooting when, previously, you had already stored the machine in your backpack. The lens park available is impressive even just by staying in the Sony house, the third-party one we don't really talk about. It's obviously not perfect. Sony has decided not to include the wall charger, which alone costs the beauty of a hundred euros and the solution adopted to charge it via USB-C (whose presence is very welcome) is not ideal in all situations and is significantly slower. The EVF is poor and the opinion on this is shared a little by anyone, fortunately I have not yet experienced eye fatigue. Touch only works for focus area selection, which is a shame because the other flaw of this Alpha is the overall slowness of the interface, a step back from what I was used to with the REFLEX. Despite these sorceress it remains an exceptional machine, even three years after launch and I wish I had taken this step much earlier.

Pros: ISO seal, AF speed, image quality.

Cons: Not excellent viewfinder, touch.

Opinion: I was very uncertain whether to continue on the SLRs or switch to ML. After trying this machine I had no doubt anymore because I fell in love with it from the beginning. It met practically all the needs I needed 3 years ago and still remains today (2021) absolutely reliable and advanced. Shine to have excellent AF, good burst, absurd ISO seal, and remarkable file quality and cleanliness. Not being the "PRO" version, I realize that the viewfinder is definitely a small defect; I would add that I have never been convinced by the touch/non-touch of the Sony screen: I find it limiting. As far as ergonomics is concerned, however, I personally do not find it uncomfortable. Switching from Canon to Sony can initially create some difficulty in untangle on the menu, which is certainly less intuitive than the Canon one, but it's super customizable and it's just a matter of habit. It is a stain that I would recommend to anyone. Maximum vote without a doubt: 10.

Pros: value for money, image quality, ISO seal, video compartment, battery life, key customization

Cons: user experience, OBSCENE EVF, equally obscene display, uncomfortable joypad, chewy and very unseat rings, crazy menus, ridiculous reaction times (lighting, zooming in photos in the gallery)

Opinion: Thoroughly tested in the field for a thousand shots and then resold as fast as possible. Bought to decide whether to replace another machine or not, having high expectations. The machine churns out very good files: photo side excellent dynamic range, excellent iso seal, excellent 4k video side without crop. the face is lightning fast and very reliable, never misses a shot ... But. BUT this sony did not prove to be the miracle I expected from a practical point of view and from the point of view of usability/user experience. The EVF viewfinder is obscene, very undefined, very noisy and with colors that are not at all reliable. After two hours I found my eyes very very fatigued and tired, with hints of tearing (I have no problem with sight). Same speech for the display, very limited in movements and with the same problems. Out of 700 shots, weights and EVF never showed me a balance of white and real colors. The file then comes out perfect, but if you like to shoot like this, glad you! Then we move on to OPERATIONAL SLOWNESS, the machine takes quite a while to turn on, enlarging the photos in the gallery takes a time never seen on a camera. ERGONOMICS SIDE: I thought the grip was small, but with large hands and long fingers this A7III still holds very well, the keys are many and very customizable. Too bad they give bad feedback: the joystick is too small and uncomfortable/inaccurate to use, the rings are super spongy and do not rotate precisely. FINAL CONCLUSIONS: for me this A7III turned out to be a machine that churns out excellent files, excellent videos, which has every technical feature that a professional wants, but has not in the least taken care of the user experience, having turned out to be really un pleasant / intuitive to use, very robotic and tiring in the long run. It's up to you to choose what you prefer, but now any brand comes to similar merits...

Pros: First of all, really great battery life, an epochal leap after trying the old battery on a6000 a7 and a7Sii where it was necessary to have several spares, full customization of the keys, Af c is eye af for my excellent needs, sight I find it good, ergonomics, dynamic range, iso hold, good key feedback, burst although I honestly always used that lowest, silent shot, Q/P ratio, my menu, double slot, construction.

Cons: Screen: here various problems in my opinion I would like a more defined one and that you could open even when we are in portrait mode, full touch as on the S3. Then sensor protection during optical change, have the level and histogram at the same time, mf square not always visible correctly, automatic deactivation oss on tripod, max exposure 30s. Lack of chargers. Proximity sensor viewfinder/lcd too sensitive. Some other details solved with the R4 series such as joystick geometry, sd card order, easy opening of the sd compartment and the wheel lock.

Opinion: After about a year of using the Sony A7iii purely for landscape photos, sporadic portraits and travel photos I feel satisfied with the choice. As you have seen above I summarized the pros and cons where precisely the latter are partly personal preferences and have been corrected in the later models. As I have written in the past I have also used an A7Sii comparing it to the A7iii in the landscape on the same terms and lens I noticed a richer file that of the first, perhaps due to the presence of the AA filter of the iii? Even for high iso we talk about 10k the first even with less mpx has an obvious advantage in cleaning files. It is a machine that has improved all the defects of the first and second series starting in my opinion: from the really generous battery and allows you to make numerous shots, ergonomics, keys and ghiere, introduction of the joystick, usb c, double slot, af finally lending and usable (only problem I had was with the 90 macro trying a little portrait seemed to have gone back , it was the lens because with the others I had no problems). To date, the slow park is very extensive and has numerous alternatives for each type of price and need. Maybe some specialist targets like TS, fisheye and other super canvases are missing, but they'll definitely come as Sony now has a lineup of enough cameras. UPDATE 17-09-2020: During BULB poses around the minute and a half I noticed a lot of hotpixels in the final photo.

Pros: customization, eye tracking, face tracking, very complete menu, iso seal, raw quality and workability.

Cons: AF with low light, AF in backlight, quality of the crosshairs, limited lcd movement, Sony lens price, with wide-angle lenses does not seem to me to be able to focus easily.

Opinion: I switched to Sony selling my Nikon kit, and having already purchased and made the Z6. it was a suffered passage and a decision that took a long time. The A7III has merits and defects, let's start from the merits: remarkable raw file quality, very good shadow opening possibilities, I have two Sigma Art lenses and it seems to me that the files are already great even before touching them in the post, very customizable braketing possibilities, virtually total key customization, which allows you to do everything without ever getting into the menus. The iso seal is very good, it is a fast machine, suitable for many genres. The menu contrary to what many say in my opinion is very complete (I use it in English), allows you to customize each key and also to save set of settings that can be called up with a single button. You can set the machine so that you have different focus modes that can be called up with a key. There are great tutorials on youtube to study the menu in detail, which I recommend you do first. As a focus is a monster with af eye and face tracking, and also as a single subject chase. Today there is a slow park more than discreet, and accessories of various types of various brands. Now I start with the cons: the AF in low light and backlight is bad, much worse than the reflexes I used before, for me it's a big problem and I did not expect it honestly, I hope they can improve via firmware, this thing disappointed me a lot. Another problem to me seems to me that with wide-angle lenses does not focus practically anything that is not close and in the center, with subjects far away to me it seems that just does not see anything with an AF mode to chase. Another focus problem, the lock on AF only works in some modes and I don't think it's possible to switch from a spot mode to the AF lock without switching from the focus mode menu, which is cumbersome and slow. AF-C tracking modes all work poorly when there is a dark subject on a light background. the viewfinder is mediocre as quality and in low light conditions happens to present lag, although it is not something that bothers me too much. the lcd is only oriented in landscape mode, I shooting so much portrait I would have liked to have the lcd oriented even vertically. It lacks the focus stacking that in my opinion on such a technological and expensive machine can not miss. I would have preferred fewer AF modes, but more performing, it seems to me that there are a lot of AF modes that are too similar, difficult to choose and/or activate at the right time. The machine is infallible for portraiture and probably also for individual objects in motion, it seems to me that on the contrary it has difficulty to focus on everything else (in continuous AF). The slow park is discreet but generally at a bit of excessive prices, fortunately the Sigma are great and at high prices, but normal, Sony and Zeiss lenses to me seem offered at excessive prices. As ergonomics the dials are too hard and too cashed. Missing the visor at the top on the body that I used to adjust with the exposure, here you are forced to look in the viewfinder to see the display that I find uncomfortable. The clearing dial, shooting only in manual for me is a waste of space, I would have preferred the viewer in its place. I am still satisfied with the purchase in general, but honestly for the focus in continuous I expected much more, especially reading the reviews.

Pros: Sensor, burst, AF, EYE AF, all customizable, lightweight, endless lens park, Joystick

Cons: Scope could be better, ibis improveable, weather tracking, slow ignition, lack of switch on the body

Opinion: It's a great machine, it's an entry level only in the name: joystick, double slot, large and sufficient viewfinder (although not excellent), good burst, endless buffer, great AF, eye AF prodigious, a sensor that tolerates everything, but has its beautiful flaws. For example tracking is far from real time tracking that came out shortly after, the various AF areas are not modifiable, the shutter if left in full mechanical some vibration the da, the AF is great but suffers a little low lights, lacks the switch AF/AFC/MF and drive, in ignition if it takes comfortable with 2 seconds full, while emptying the buffer the menu is blocked and the ices are improved... Many but small things on which other brands take care of the details... But when you use it is a means of war, very fast and reliable, according to DXO is the best FF in ISO resistance, it can do any kind of photographic, the lenses of the system are exterminated and practically all very good, on the other hand they are new conception, there are real pearls even on the third parties. The battery lasts a lifetime, when it hooks the human or animal subject no longer loses it, besides they are the only ones who have realized that giving this function to a key is much better, it activates only when it is needed. I consider it a camera for capable people, who know what they want, it is a moment to profile on C1/LR (Raamiel) and it is not instinctive to use, you have to remember the functions and what you have assigned to the keys, need to say that there are valuable glasses, take it with ciffoni does not make sense, buy an economic APSC otherwise, it is always a means of almost 2 thousand euros and it is worth them.

Pros: versatility, sensor, AF

Cons: menu, lack of ML functionality

Opinion: I have been using it for a few months, I have not become a "Sony fun boy", I try to maintain objectivity and while considering it a great machine, extraordinarily versatile in almost all photographic genres, sensor and AF fantastic, I check several shortcomings between ML features (focus stacking, time lapse, double exposure in the room). It is likely that for many they are unimportant but they are often present on the bodies of other brands, and here you feel the lack of them...like the charger... I don't say anything about the menu because it's like shooting on the red cross...

Pros: Sensor quality, raws, endless retrievals on shadows, convenience and speed

Cons: suffers darn hot pixels even for photos of 15-20 seconds of exposure, no screen totally basculable and not very sharp, missing the charger

Opinion: After over a year of use I can say that it is really a great machine. I came from Canon 6D mark II but after a while it started to sit a little tight because of the poor workability of the files especially on the recovery of shadows. I made this leap into the dark thinking about it over a month, but the feeling was immediate, never misses a shot, burst and autofocus top. Like all things also has some defects of which in my opinion very serious, namely the presence of hot pixels raising ISO due to overheating probably due to bad cooling, which has been solved for example on the A7rIV. The screen has a low resolution and the live view has mostly in low light grain of very big noise, but in the end then you churn out the perfect file and so do not give us weight. If with the arrival of the A7IV they improved the cooling and quality of the viewfinder and screen and who knows, maybe even get to 30mpx would be fantastic. I have always been a canonist, but in the end I am very satisfied and I would never go back, because especially in landscape photos the dynamic range that Sony offers is scary. I wait for the 7IV curious to see if they will have improved the defects (given what it costs to buy it)

Pros: body quality, customization, value for money

Cons: there's no battery charger

Opinion: I say: use for amateur purposes: travel, family/friends outings, excursions. I sold my Nikon D5100, I decided to make myself this gift for my next trips (waiting for the end of this pandemic). I went against the current and I did not listen even to those who said that the menus were complicated, I took it import with purely English menu. First of all, the feeling of solidity and quality that from the machine body is truly amazing. To start taking pictures by setting something you do not necessarily need to follow instructions or tutorials, but by doing so you can fine-tune a number of useful and sufficient functions to start shooting. The image quality is really superb, changing isO takes photos even in low light conditions without affecting the image quality that is always recoverable even in PP (I'm using capture one) which with nikon was not always feasible. Multiple customizations allow you to "sew" your camera to your liking, so you have everything at your fingertips. The features are the most disparate and I think you can make full use of it only after a long time and a lot of use in the most different situations. I bought it in pair with a 24-105 sony and I'm really excited about it. Perhaps an external battery charge would have made charging easier, too bad you missed this one detail which is in my opinion the only downside in this purchase. The ergonomics are good, I have big hands but not very big and I fit in with a brush. The autofocus is really amazing and in all its functions it does not miss a beat. The expense is not indifferent but if you want to save it on import it is not a drama from a linguistic point of view (if you chew a little technical English) you are of little interest in the guarantee speech if you accept the very low (in my opinion) risk of having to need one day.

Pros: RAW file quality, battery life, functions, machine body quality, touch, high ISO, Autofocus.

Cons: Jpeg file a bit subdued, eVF ugly, absurd menu, inconvenient micro USB socket

Opinion: Already user of A7II, from the third version I expected a lot and so it was. Meanwhile the machine body that I find of excellent quality, as it was in the second version. Solid, well balanced, although a little small but at the same time peaches, betraying like the younger sister, the initial mission of mirrorless. Jpeg files follow the usual Sony tradition, although better than those seen so far... let's say less horrible than usual. RAW files are a marvel, like the previous series... really impressive workability, both compressed and uncompressed.... really excellent. The implementation of touch was definitely an important plus, but I would have done without it, honestly. The high ISO yield is great... I also thought the previous series was good... let's say this is definitely a step forward, allowing unthinkable ISO shots with amazing results. Battery life is significant compared to the previous ones!!! The autofocus, though difficult to set well, is impressive, especially the lightning tracking... nothing to say, of the highest level. In addition to a couple of native fixtures, I use Canon optics adapted with Metabones IV... even with those configurations I feel pretty good. The EVF sight is not much, sincerely, but very usable... The real sore note is the menu, which in Italian has absurd abbreviations,... I use it in English, but it remains indigestible... the good thing is that with the Fn menu you can easily achieve the most used functions.... for the rest, it would have been clearer written in machine language directly :-D ... Last note, the unfortunate choice of the placement of the microUSB socket that interferes with the plastic door... really a crazy thing ... Ultimately... recommended machine, suitable for all photographic genres, and I saw that it has many options for the video part (which I rarely use, so I know little)... a full 9 without any doubt.

Pros: Fantastic sensor, light, excellent battery, ergonomics

Cons: Outrageous touch,messed-up menu

Opinion: Honestly finding something negative in this camera is difficult, what I don't like is the horrible and snappy touch (compared to the Canon 6d mk ii) and the menu (Canon a thousand times better) otherwise I think is an almost perfect camera, the ergonomics are great and you hold from God in your hand, possibility to mount an infinite number of lenses ,the battery lasts a lot, I think I will not change brands anymore because I am finding myself too well ! Ah here maybe another flaw is that the sensor gets dirty easily, not putting a curtain was a wrong move, we hope they correct in the future ! Update after almost 2 years of use, in the long exposures I noticed a lot of colored dots (hot Pixels), not that it is the end of the world but when you want to be a little fussy about the final result annoying

Pros: Battery life, value for money, compactness, quality and file workability, double jack micro-usb and usb-c

Cons: Menu, space to have some extra untapped button, sony app wi-fi file transfer only in jpg, lack sensor protection

Opinion: Great camera with excellent quality and enviable value. The autofocus is great (although not infallible) and although I don't have small hands I don't suffer the size, which in the end is one of the reasons why I bought the A7III. The stabilizer on the sensor is effective but not at the level of an optician, but it gives the advantage of lightening the optics and working with any lens. The menu is a bit difficult but with a run-in you can set the most common quick commands and avoid the hassle. The minino is fine with me, I do not miss the optical one and although I am aware that there are better crosshairs this entails a considerable difference in price.

Pros: what I was looking for

Cons: honestly I don't know

Opinion: Impressive machine really i wouldn't know what to ask for more , maybe a little the viewfinder leaves a little to be desired but x the rest nothing , I come from 7 years of canon from 650d to 70 d and finally to the 6d mark 2 the choice to change all the system was troubled but it goes The autofocus is beyond all expectations. I really don't know what to ask for more, it's not bulky and you hold it very well in your hand. highly recommended

Pros: Sensor quality (raw processing, shadow recovery, iso etc.) excellent, exceptional autofocus, ergonomics and grip (yes, I like it!), battery life, eye-af in afc that doesn't miss a beat, so many possibilities of programming keys, endless features...

Cons: ... good but not excellent viewfinder and screen (the second not fully oriented), limited touch, gray maf square (but I hope in an update like for the A9)

Opinion: It can be summed up as follows: a complete machine in all respects. I have already written in the summary, but I would like to make it clear that the cons do not limit their use at all, or at least, not mine. A fw update for the A9 has just come out and among other improvements it "colors" the maf point. Well, I hope that this feature is also released for the A7III, the gray square sometimes camouflages a little too much... The much-mused grip (or general ergonomics), will be that I have hands of human size and not cyclopic, I find it excellent and not disturbing, despite always using reflex. Lightning autofocus with flawless eye tracking especially in afc. I knew the rest of the mirrorless features from A6000/6500, but I repeat the fact that once you try... you don't go back! Good sight, maybe not excellent but very usable, ditto for screen resolution. Touch comfortable but limited. Finally a cheer on the battery life that does not make me regret my old system :)

Pros: Autofocus great, many and infinite possibilities of adjustment, image quality, high iso hold, favorable price quality ratio.

Cons: i don't like evf, the dedicated optics are more expensive than the reflex analoges,

Opinion: It's the infinite camera. in the sense that every time I use it I always discover something new, something that helps me and that surprises me! The menu is very complete, I left it in English and I feel great. the body fits perfectly to those who have medium or small hands, personally I had only the difficulty in getting used to removing and putting the optics, the lock keys to dx of the vent and a certain hardness in rotating the lens (at least compared to canon) forced me to study a series of gestures to which I was not accustomed. The yield of this sensor is amazing, its 24 mp is enough and they advance for those like me who do not make gigantographies... I do very few crop and I'm not interested in viewing photos at 200% to see if the pixels are in their place... The prints that come out of it are divine, there is not really the panzana of colors. I always had Canon, and the best of them is the 1Ds MkIII. With this Sony (and of course the right color profile) I can get a photo printed almost indistinguishable from those made with Canon... but with the undeniable advantage of having many iso and a futuristic autofocus. I'm a little stressed about the evf crosshairs, I don't like it. If I have to take a picture quickly I have to tap a button to "wake up" the camera... I know that in the more expensive models is better, even the One of the Eos R is better (I owned one) but in the end I made the jump... I sold almost everything and switched to Sony. With a good dose of calm and a good dose of time to look for good opportunities, in the used you will find everything. The price to make a set comes at an important cost. I'm sorry I left Canon, when I see a lens with the red line I still think back to the ones I had... but the technology goes this way, Canikon have lost the train... who knows if they will be able to mend the accumulated disadvantage. Edit 05/01/2020. After also bought an A7RIII, I joined it with the A7III. Finally I sold the A7RIII. I made several prints in A3 format, and at this size it was not possible to distinguish with which camera the photos had been taken. Obviously at monitors the 42 mpix are seen, and the R returns unthinkable details. I can say that the autofocus of the A7III seemed more responsive than that of the older sister. I took pictures of rally cars frontally, at high speeds, never a blurry one. I recommend it even more now, since the prices are much lower. I don't know what they will invent with version IV, but to date I consider the A7III a "best buy" for quality and versatility.

Pros: It's just perfect

Cons: It's addictive and the need to find them by force of defects

Opinion: I use it at work to shoot videos but also for ceremonial photography and events and it's amazing. Since I went from reflex to mirrorless, a world has opened up. This machine has a monstrous versatility, an incredible reliability, gives you a freedom in properly exposing absurd and even if you make a mistake forgives a lot. The autofocus is accurate and fast based on the optics you use. Eye face tracking works, sometimes with a lot of people stupid, but if you want to take a portrait of a couple or a single, you crush the programmed button and hook in a nanosecond, and you really don't miss the moment. You can costume it the way you want to sew it on yourself, much more than the eos r and nikon z. It has double backup slots and only professional machines need to have it, the others... Z and R are not sorry. Which mentally ill person would go to a wedding by entrusting all his work to a single card albeit reliable and fast xqd? It also has the electronic silent snap and you don't hear a fly flying, it has the liview setting for flash use. It's an all-round machine really , in the video field makes footage of the Madonna, a soft and precise autofocus, other than dual pixels , holds up well the high iso, up to 12000 (which you want more) in pairs with a sony a7riii and two or three fixed optics is a lot of stuff. Currently the only flaw of this room is in the scope of photos a larger body and a better ergonomics while in video 4k 60 fps (which I do not use) and only 100 fps on fullhd (which are enough for what I do) is one of the most mirrorless sold at the moment but I would say with merit , I was pleasantly surprised.

Pros: Mature, Autofocus, ISO Hold, Automatic Color Temperature Management Better Than All Cameras So Far Owned, Gust and Overflowing Buffers, Customizable Commands and Wheels in More Than Enough, Clutter, Silent Shot , Full compatibility with Techart pro, Universal machine that does not set limits of use for any lens - the Goddess of adaptability tested very positively also with Commlite ENF E1 Pro on Nikon AFS targets.

Cons: Cover usb contact really ridiculous, Ergonomics to the limit, Touch limited.

Opinion: I will not say that I come from Nikon because I have no intention of leaving the reflex world of which I have a decent kit well assorted and of quality, I still think valid the mirror for its speed of shooting in some conditions, I do not see any particular need For now to revolutionize the approach on long focals however damn, this camera lacks only the word. I'm not a video maker so on the video side I can't express myself and I understand very little while for photography I feel I can say that I find myself in my hands a complete and mature tool, I even struggle to understand how it can be improved further a camera like that. Probably the electronic viewfinder is something to raise the bar on but personally I find it sufficient and functional. Where I was particularly astounded and it is also the main reason why I decided to take it, is the use in combination with the Techart Pro that made me put back in the bag very good vintage glass between whose features stand out the compactness that enhances its compactness Mirrorless philosophy. I already see myself as a client of Voigtlinder and thanks to the focus aids and Techart himself I promise this little one not to give him any glass beyond the 1.8 brightness. If she really deserves it, I finally deserve it I do not take precious seconds to the mind committed to composing, as it really must be when in your hand you have a MACCHINA that shows you the preview of your visions and does the MACCHINA in the best possible way that is , taking care of all that is not photography. The Autofocus sector is disarming, the Eye AF is basically not in a chatter box, it puts you in a position to think only about how to frame it by recovering valuable attention in favor of other details or details. It is so obvious that the face of the subject is always in focus that you can allow yourself to compose the background, shape the bokeh. At Sony, however, they thought that a machine so well made had to have something to bring it back to earth, it needed something that would make you snort often, say every time you charge it or connect it to the PC and then came the USB port TAPPO. With an Arca Swiss bracket mounted on the base it becomes almost impossible to insert the cable. Image quality equivalent to Nikon standards with a certain impression that in dynamic range it allows something more species on the recovery of highlights. These impressions of use in the first month of use, in case I will update the review.

Pros: Holding high ISO outstanding-burst-AF-4K Video-Focus peaking-silent but just silent shooting:-)

Cons: Enough viewfinder, slightly adjustable screen and little touch, complex menus

Opinion: I've had it for about 3 months. After so many years spent with the 6d I made this passage not painless. Many, lots of advantages but with the Canon I was so good that I'm holding both. What about it? More or less what you read on the net in the reviews balanced leaving the detractors for the party taken and the fanboys. The A7 III is an exceptional machine but it is not perfect (I don't think they exist). Excellent high ISO and AF system (especially with lenses produced for you). Many small things make it complete and improve its usability: Focus peaking (really good for shooting with the manual focus), automatic zoom that assists you when you focus, ring for the flight correction of the exposure, many buttons Customizable, battery of excellent durability and loadable on the fly with Powerbank...... A big, great advantage, is to see in real time how the parameters gradually set will affect the photo as for example in the long exposures (not in bulb). The defects are those known: the viewfinder is not bad but it is not comparable to a pentaprism, the menus are too complex and the translation into Italian for some voices is ridiculous, indeed the term more guessed is "imaginative", the screen can be oriented but the convenience of a ver o swivel screen is a whole other stuff, in some cases (sporadic) The silent shot produces horizontal lines in the photo and deforms the vertical structures. Separate chapters for Is, park objectives, AF and use of adapters I start with the stabilizer. Very personal opinion tainted probably by my experience nothing with stabilized bodies. Discreet but not more. I have always snapped with the 6d and stabilised lenses (except the wide angles but at 12mm being out of the safe times is difficult) and in my opinion with 6d and 24 70 is F4 I could push myself more than with A7 III and Tamron 28-75. Park goals: It moves quickly and is in sharp growth but some lenses are back compared to Canon and really good ones cost really much. Beware the Canon does not give them, they are expensive there too, but with the possibility of taking some good lens at more affordable price. Some tests I could do others I read them on the net and many confirm what I say. The Canon 16 35 F4 is superior (not in all but in many respects) to the Sony counterpart. Same story for the 70-200 F4 and the 85 (those accessible at human prices. AF: valid, very valuable. Shoot 3500 photos with Tamron 28-75 in the theater during dance essays and will have blew in 4-5 photos. But there is one though:-): there are many but many options and to be sure to use the one most suitable for every circumstance is not easy. It is not a defect but who is used to recompose with the central (as only option or almost) can remain displaced. Using adapters: Personal experience limited to photos (in video there is no tracking so you lose the true added value of Sony). Mc 11 and Canon 24 70 F4, 70-200 F4, 35 F2 Is, Sigma 105 Macro and 12 24 (both not art), for all experience identical to that lived for years with the Canon. The hesitation that sometimes matched there were also paired with the Canon. I hope I haven't bored you and helped someone.

Pros: AF-C, battery that on ML is finally worthy of this name, high ISO hold, stabilizer, fullframe in a contained body

Cons: Non-immediate menu that takes some time to be understood, outrageous viewfinder, crappy LCD, raw files to work heavily, sensor that gets dirty even without changing optics, cost of Sony optics greater than the competition, lack timer in Pose B

Opinion: I changed camera often because in each I found some things that made me twist my nose (the best experiences anyway with Canon and Fujifilm) and, driven by the enthusiasm of dozens of owners of this machine and the problems of F/B focus that I have encountered With Tamron lenses on Nikon D750, I decided to return to ML in the hope of abandoning this type of problem. Mission successful? Undoubtedly yes, but now the problems are others. Firstly, having had the X-T2 Fuji, the first thing I noticed is the viewfinder and the LCD decidedly poor, which do not allow you to work well in the sun. There is no contrast to the focus point and under the sun you have to press the shutter button halfway to get it to color (only green) to figure out where it went to finish. The feeling is that you have a machine in hand technologically excellent, but not completely mature. In fact in the experience of use are many things that sooner or later, even for a few moments, we will be perplexed (such as during a night session, I discovered that during the pose B the screen remains black without even a timer to indicate the time Elapsed, with the need therefore to resort to the cellphone to have an external timer). The raw files in my opinion have a flat yield: the colors are different from other brands, very modern in the surrender (from this point of view for me the Canon files remain the best), the information goes strong in the shadows, decidedly less in the high lights where you present the Lim More obvious iti. In general, the starting files (Jpeg, RAW) are never particularly satisfactory and you have to put your hand to good in post to pull out something good. The AF-S since I own it don't use it anymore, because it's not as fast and accurate as the AF-C. The keys on the body are well arranged and with an additional grip improves the ergonomics. The Sony optics are well built, but have much higher prices than the competition and this makes it almost impossible to have a kit of optics 1.4 or 2.8, unless you have great economic possibilities. From this point of view you feel limited and often you have to tack on the market of used and third-party optics (Sigma, Tamron, and Samyang that is doing a good job). Who will read this review advice to try the car before falling on this model only by virtue of what is read online, with opinions of enthusiastic only because they chose the brand X rather than Y. I would like to give a vote of 8.5/10 at the A7 III , because despite high ISO and AF-C is perhaps the best mirrorless on the market, still lacks something and does not return a user-experience to me fully satisfactory. A positive mention to the battery, which really lasts a lot and seems inexhaustible, to the ISO that are a stop over the D750, to the body not very heavy and to Sony for having distorted the market of mirrorless cameras, bringing the competition to have to revise the Own programs. For those who still have doubts I would like to say that anyway, the future is mirrorless. Who is preparing to make a kit ex-Novo, has today a wide choice with Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm (user-experience beautiful, machines and optical compartment of level with contained dimensions and performance for many comparable uses) etc., then move to Sony for the world Mirrorless today makes less sense than in the past. Considering that on Nikon with an adapter you can keep the optics or adapt so many others at low prices, must reflect at least in part before choosing Sony a priori.

Pros: AF, battery, Price, ISO, Gamma

Cons: Viewfinder, Touchscreen

Opinion: It is a balanced machine, usable for many types of photography: Avifauna with its 693 points of AF, landscaping with its dynamic range, nocturnal for its high ISO hold, portraiture for its precision of the AF. The 24mpx are enough, sure a couple of more mixes were fine, but 24 are more than enough for all uses. The battery lasts a lot and can make about 1000 photos. At night it contains a lot of noise over the 6400 ISO and the dynamic and fabulous range. The touchscreen can be improved in addition to very slow and cumbersome and the viewfinder does not have a high resolution also because for Sony this machine and for an amateur user. It would have been nice to have a second function nut on the left of the machine, as in A9 to select the focus mode and autofocus type. At a price slightly higher than 2000 euros you can have a balanced machine and very performanant.

Pros: Versatility, RAW files products, AF, battery life, dual SD slots, stabilizing

Cons: Viewfinder not great

Opinion: From amateur photographer I decided a few months ago to make the leap from the PUR excellent micro 4/3 to FF, driven by the desire for greater machinability of the file. It was the time when many competing companies announced their entry into the mirrorless FF World (Nikon, Canon etc). For the many features present in this body, and in small part absent in the new competitors, I decided for this purchase. CMQ machine Body Relatively compact, excellent files, fast and accurate AF at 693 points, eye AF, Optical Park finally wide and not necessarily too expensive (see Sigma, Samyang etc.), double SD slot that cmq gives more security, battery that lasts, Stabilization on the sensor (not comparable to the micro 4/3 but cmq effective), small neo is the viewfinder not too resolute, but nothing dramatic. During these months I also used it for a trip to India coupled with a 35mm Sigma ART and it kept very well to dirt and dust and held around the neck all day did not bother me. In short I am very satisfied with the passage and if even now I had to take a FF camera body starting from scratch I would go back on her (at the expense of Panasonic).

Pros: Exceptional focus (also in backlight), extremely generous dynamic range, files with very little noise, gamma and brilliant chromatic rendition (to me all seeing my photos say they have nice colors) high ISO, STABILIZED sensor, quality/ Excellent price, compact and fairly light, continuous updates from Sony, battery with a life equal to most professional SLR cameras.

Cons: Menu a bit laborious, viewfinder not at the top.

Opinion: I use this machine for 7 months and I come from Canon (Canon 80d). It gives me more satisfaction every day and I use it intensely for the portrait. For me it is absolutely the best portrait camera you can have: facial recognition and eye-AF are really great finds. I like colors: In some situations have some dominant orange, in my opinion pleasing, which in case are easily eliminable in post. The files are very good and very workable. To me so much other photographers as normal people have said that the colors are beautiful. The ergonomics for me is very good. I used the camera for non-stop portrait sessions of 5-6 hours and over 1400 photos, I did not accuse hand problems. The fact that it is compact and relatively light for me is a great value: When you take a walk you do not travel with pounds of equipment and a small bag from APSC enough. Flaws I see a few. The menus are not intuitive. On the other hand you can create your own personal menu and the keys of the machine are customizable. In backlight too pushed (mid-afternoon sun all inside the frame) in rare cases with some very open lenses (f 1.4 or F 1.8) The raw is rifled vertically: the phenomenon is solved by setting the first curtain of the mechanical shutter (instead of The electronics).

Pros: Focus and park lenses for every need, dynamic range

Cons: Surrender of the Incarnate absolutely to be reviewed. Sensor that gets dirty at every lens change

Opinion: Bought two months ago two camera bodies. To This day I sold the first. Personally I think it is not suitable for portrait because the skin tone is staggered with clear traces of green in the shadows. The faces always appear under the tone. On The issue I questioned the manufacturer who admits the problem on the series two claiming to have resolved but personally I was deeply disappointed. Disappointed because Sony builds the best sensors in the world but is currently unable to meet the tastes of its customers despite a brand policy aimed at listening to customers. For the rest of the uses like Landscape Street and sports photography I can't judge. Sold the first machine body and in the sale phase the second.

Pros: Focus AF Eye, ISO, end result on viewfinder. Video. Weight

Cons: Megapixel camera, care optics, menu, ability to dirty the sensor easily, sharpness of the EVF

Opinion: So what about the famous A7III. We start from the point that I use Nikon, before I used Canon and I wanted to try and luckily I had the opportunity to have a A7iii. There's nothing to say, do it all, it seems to have a little Robot in your hands, crush a button and it makes you the photo practically perfect, focusing included. Maybe, you feel less like a photographer, but it's a personal opinion. Advice to those who are thinking of buying it, to think twice, in the end those little improvements do not change you so radically life if you are a photographer. Up to now you have managed to focus the eye without needing to do the machine, use an Iso at very high levels, if you are a photographer rarely use the highest levels of this machine. If there's no light, no light, guys. Let's say it did not convince me to change all my Nikon outfit to move to Sony, as many are doing, spending thousands of euros, I do not feel the need. In fact I'm selling it, since I do not do mainly videos, to make my photographs continuous with Nikon more than willingly. Battery: We surprise that it lasts so much battery, but I, with a Nikond750 I do a whole day of marriage and and I remain battery for a shooting of other 500 shots. What I mean, don't follow the crowd. Analyze your needs, what you really need, will not be the machines to make us better photographers but practice. The A7III is a terrific car? Yes it is, but like so many others. Carlos.

Pros: Autofocus, cleaning and general file rendering, reactivity, twin SD slot, battery, customizable menu, WB

Cons: Limited Touch functionality, lack of grip for the little finger

Opinion: I took this car coming from 5DIII first and A7RII then, really amazing and at this price is really hard to find flaws. The difference with the A7RII is abysmal in everything outside the image quality, the responsiveness of the machine is at the highest levels and gives you the sensation of a mature machine in the mirrorless world. The files are very clean and engraved, the viewfinder and LCD of which all speak ill, are excellent. This series III corrects all the problems of series II. The double slot makes me feel more serene and you always have the sensation of being able to count on the machine. Battery with really good duration, yesterday I made about 1400 shots with still 35% residual battery. Like all Sony ML I'll need a L bracket for the little finger as there is no place. For the rest, highly recommended!

Pros: Quality of the files also in JPEG. Low noise at high ISO. Stabilized sensor. Speed and precision AF. Tilt Monitor.

Cons: Weight, general ergonomics, menu a little too arzigogolato, but above all sensor subject to easily get dirty between a change of lens and the other long exposures. Lack of a built-in flash.

Opinion: I tried the specimen of a friend of mine photographer by profession who made me use it in his exits more than once. The impression of solidity is well supported by the weight that, however, in the long is felt. Despite having an AF almost instantaneous and very precise, I have found difficulties in dynamic situations in which I have never had problems with the Canon 6d, which weighs more or less than the Sony but is better distributed. The Sony A7 III is great for quiet or low-dynamic photos where you have all the time to compose, focus and shoot. Good high ISO tightness, with intense and brilliant colors but from 6400 up the noise begins to become evident even if within the limits of acceptability and the chromatic scale tends to flatten a little. Terrible then, as in all the mirrorless, the sensor that is exposed to dust in the optical changes and also this sensor manages to capture enough in the few seconds that it takes to change the target, then forcing to retouch the photos "polluted" From the footprint of more or less subtle dust grains. I do not understand why manufacturers have not expected to be able to close the blinds (automatically or manually) when you change the lenses... It would be a good solution to greatly reduce (if not even reset) the dust on the sensor. Personally I am not thrilled with this camera, nor of the other mirrorless that I have tried so far (Sony A7, Sony A7II, Sony A6000 and Sony A5000), but I attribute this impression to the fact that I still can not detach the eye from the viewfinder of reflex Which I still prefer by far. I mean, it's a matter of habit. But only to a certain point because, then, when I mount the tele and I find myself having more difficulty to manage it with a mirrorless rather than with a reflex (which usually does not create problems) and when you have to be careful not to take dust to the sensor or to clean Too often, then it becomes more difficult for me to detach myself from old habits.

Pros: Quality sensor, high ISO, scary AF, battery life, possibility of customizing the room, double slot (for coronary arteries).

Cons: Ergonomics, colors that can be improved.

Opinion: I took 2 specimens just presented, I come from Canon in practice I had them all except the 5DMK IV, and I must say that working with ML is fantastic, you have everything under control. The thing that impressed me is the quality of the files that generates this room, shadow recovery and exceptional highlights. Another strong point is the AF in all its "declinations" impeccable, opens New horizons. I would never go back to reflex, the only drawback I miss the Canon colors a bit, but nothing. The use for wedding and is perfect, I chose this and not the R to have more slender files, the 24mp of 7 III are more than enough, would be good even 16mp for my taste. Other Neo I would have preferred a deeper grip, but cmq I'm used to it.

Pros: All

Cons: Messed up menu, non-tilting screen (but not necessary).

Opinion: Personally, it is the most balanced purchase that can exist in this band. It ' great both the photo and video compartment (there is the 4k to 60fps but I do not think it is fundamental). The thing that surprised me most perhaps is the weight, really content. The ergonomics are very good, the handle is very comfortable. Having used in my life only SLR cameras (Nikon D3300 and sometimes a Canon 6d), I admire the electronic viewfinder and the ability to preview how it will show the image. It's a very comfortable and efficient thing. If we really want to find a flaw, I would say that the screen is not tipper, but I do not find something necessary for those who buy this machine. The menu is messed up, but honestly just put yourself under a few hours, set the appropriate buttons to have your favorite commands at your fingertips and you are riding. All the features not mentioned in this review are excellent, excellent, excellent. Extremely satisfied, great job Sony!

Pros: The quintessence of the Sony A7

Cons: Menu exaggeratedly Cryptic (even compared to series 2)

Opinion: Immense machine, hard to wish for more (apart from a denser sensor, which made me hang for keeping my loyal A7R2). It has all the features that an event photographer could want: brutal AF, double slot, long battery life, excellent dynamic range, stellar iso, ergonomics and keys arrangement able to speed up every action with respect to the Competition. Unfortunately the menu even compared to the series 2 has messed up even more, becoming enormously dispersive, with the subcategories that have multiplied, all at the expense of the immediate speed of use. It is to say that however once the machine is set up, you really have everything at your fingertips. Even the settings of the 4 customizable buttons are now editable according to if you are in Foto\\video\\media view. But maybe €2,000 is too many, if you consider only the image quality as a Factor. But if you are a professional and you consider this machine in its entirety (even compared to a flagship as D4\\D5 and Canon's counterparts), the speech changes. To take into account that what you save with the bodies, will then go into the optics, all super expensive (but undeniable quality). Canon and Nikon pay a lot the old age of their projects, with fixed that are not comparable to the Sony counterparts, neither as optical quality nor as construction (feel a 85 1.2 L and a 85 GM and you will understand the colossal difference in terms of build quality). If you are an amateur this machine is useless, we will not have quality gains compared to a Sony A7II, and the differences so dear to a PRO, you will not even notice.

Pros: File quality, ergonomics, AF, speed, High ISO Seal

Cons: Evf

Opinion: I own the car relatively recently but I can already give some personal judgement. As for the quality of the files that I strive I feel really satisfied, to put my hands enjoy literally. Really malleable. The high ISO yield is also astounding to me (arrival from Fuji XT20). Coming from xt20 for me also ergonomics is a marvel. The menus are actually a little tricky but I have to say that in a couple of days I have configured everything I need and with there I have more set Foot. Only criticism that I move is the quality of the mirino...ci I was a little bad (it was better than that of fuji) but I must say that I got used to it after a while. I want to point out that I took the car with the Tamron 28-75 (already sold) and I can not wait to try it properly with the fixed, I prefer (the 35 ART should arrive tomorrow, then I will evaluate a 85). For me it's a 9/9.5 out of 10, I'm very satisfied!!

Pros: Stabilized sensor, speed, lightness, reliability, battery,

Cons: Menu still too messed up for my liking.

Opinion: Usually I do not review the cameras I try, I have tried many over the years but I must say that this is really a little gem from the size. I used 2 A7lll for a wedding, about 2500 photos, in a I had mounted the 24 1.4 art (one bomb) and the other The 50 1.4 Zeiis) The 2 machines have behaved in an exemplary way, the AF lightning and always responsive, 2500 shots without ever changing batteries , photos at 95% all in focus, beautiful colors and raw management in post production excellent.. Not to mention the ISO, usually I do not go beyond 6400, when I realized that I had photos taken at 25000 ISO and were very usable I was amazed. Another point in his favor is the weight, I tripped for about 10 hours without feeling a scrap the next day. In short, a fantastic car from all points of view, except for the menu, still too messed up for my liking.. Despite better than the previous series. I think I found my size, Sony did a real masterpiece.

Pros: High ISO seals, various color profiles, lightness, autofocus, file quality, dynamic range.

Cons: Reveable Touch screen.

Opinion: I have been using this camera body for over a month. Arrival from Sony a6000 (still very valid but now a little ' limiting for my needs) so it was not a problem switching to the new camera body. According to many menus are complicated and not very intuitive.. In fact with a little ' use you get used and also complicit the countless amount of menus and customizable keys you can have control over any aspect of the camera. Among the various menus there are hundreds of different settings reserved exclusively for those who are familiar in the field. I have read reviews that define it "entry level". Guys, this camera body is all less than entry level. 2500 euros are not a joke for beginners. Defining from beginners a camera that can hardly be found in physical stores seems reductive. However the value for money is very high, I never had the opportunity to try the older sisters A7rIII and A9 but I can assure you that with this camera body you can do almost everything. The only point "disfavour" is the optical park for Sony full frame e-mount still a bit immature. More than anything else the optics that really bring out the best from this camera body have for now prohibitive prices for a knowledgeable/advanced photo enthusiast.

Pros: Versatility Lightness files Spectacular Ergonomics constructions Customization All I did not put in the autofocus account with the excellent native optics stabilization fantastic

Cons: EVF can be improved as resolution little optical choice is very expensive

Opinion: I purchased these 7 Mark III after having had three Canon models and I have absolutely regretted it first I stopped recomposing thanks to the focus points the files are something exceptional the you can customize it as you want outstanding AF both as Recognition faces both the Eye AF unfortunately the optics with attack and are still a few. The choice is certainly not that of Canon Nikon at the moment not use in 55 Sony Zeiss is a 135 Batis Zeiss that with the 1.6 camera body is far a 85 is a 200 about has 12 megapixels pity that Sony does not give you the option of a charger included in the package that In my opinion with €2200 we were in the great and manual instruction in Italian with detailed instructions of the menu that there is but only in English French and Spanish yes compared to Canon a bit messed up but it is not as drastic as you read on the whole a car Definitely from 9 full

Pros: Stabilized sensor, AF, electronic functions, price

Cons: EVF, sensor that gets dirty easily

Opinion: Excellent product, sensor with a high dynamic (in some situations makes the difference on the photos) and an autofocus very precise (I came from Canon 5dmk3 and Sigma Art that was not really the maximum). Very cheap price. Considerable comfort even for the tilting display. Present the GPS via app on the phone and WiFi (all things I had not on the 5dmk3). Very convenient to be able to use via MC-11 lenses with Canon mount even if with limitations and not all working sufficiently (the original Sony or cost a fortune, except for some exceptions, or are Scarsette). Very comfortable the stabilized sensor (eg on the EF 400l 5.6 shutter to 1/125). The strong negative side is the EVF that I take away a lot of feeling with the scene and sometimes makes me lose shots. It is low resolution and often with a strong contrast. Light years away from an OVF. Even the blocking of the image in the EVF at the time of shooting creates several problems especially in sports photography. As we weigh ourselves there with the SLR cameras, the 24-105 I think is comparable to the Canon, ditto the 85 1.8 Although the Sony has a better quality on the edges. Menu a little ' cumbersome but there is the possibility to make a simplified menu very immediate. The battery has an excellent durability, over 1500 shots using the stabilized lens. Too bad the sensor gets dirty easily, it would be to predict a shutter to protect the sensor at the lens change, if not by closing the photo that is very delicate, perhaps through a more robust fact just to close at the time of change Goal.

Pros: AF, ISO tightness, gust, everything!

Cons: White balance, native optical cost

Opinion: I have this ml for several months and I know it well enough to give an opinion: it is a machine for perfect quality/price! In fact in any field is at a very high level, has a monstrous AF, as it is monstrous for the ISO tightness and the chromatic range!!! Even the camera body I find it perfect, very solid and comfortable, made with materials that give a great feeling of solidity! The keys are very comfortable, all customizable and in the right places! If I have to find cons in this machine, I find the balance of white every now and then uncertain with artificial lights. The only real flaw is the cost of the native optics! Being still few and almost all pro-band are very expensive and with a market of used almost non-existent... anyway optical cost apart... Rated 10/10

Pros: It is the all-purpose machine (password versatility)

Cons: I don't see

Opinion: I am a happy user of Sony cameras for several years A850, A7 R, a6300, and I must say that with this model you have reached the balance. Size and weight "right" not too big as the old SLR, not too small to hold as the next generation APS-C sisters. "Right" sensor dimensions not too big and thinking to handle like big megapixels, and big enough to be able to intervene with some crop at must (not to mention the high ISO really incredible) AF, no mistake a shot, Probably on the series 3 Sony, I see the overtaking on the same-level reflex and the same reliability of the flagships of Casa Caninok. Construction, in hand gives you a feeling of solidity. What else to say. Optimal dynamic range, the function keys positioned where needed, the menu, slightly improved but still improve, even if any difficulties of access, are exceeded after having put the necessary functions either in the Fn key or in the quick keys completely Customizable. What else to say, double memory slots very comfortable, USB socket c very convenient to be able to charge the battery with the overwhelming majority of power banks available in the market. Significantly improved battery, (while before at every output I had 3/4 batteries) Here I don't even have a spare battery why enough power Bank. I think the only limitation of this machine is the human limit of the photographer:) Highly recommended, even for the price.

Pros: ISO seal, sensor, AF, joystick

Cons: Post purchase problem at the motherboard, poor LCD screen resolution, still uncomfortable grip, tangled menu, optical cost and market used gaunt, but it's only a matter of time.

Opinion: I'm telling my personal experience. I purchased the room with many expectations as I needed a great body both in photos and on video. After a thousand doubts, the choice fell on this Sony, of which I read everywhere positive reviews. I used it six days, with all the possible attentions. Until, suddenly the message "camera error, turn off and on again". I turn off the camera, but the inscription on the display persists. I remove the battery and the camera works. Two three shots and the message comes back. A little bit of use, hope it's just a passing thing and then once again. I saw on the web that the problem is frequent. Looks like the stabilizer. There are even those who tip the camera, from a tap and start shooting again. With all due respect to the method, if I spend 2300 euros I want a room working at 1000 for 1000. Maybe I was unlucky myself, but I saw on the web that the problem also exists on the other Alpha series. Update # # # # # Camera replaced # # # # disposed The initial rage I finally start to use it. PRO: ISO seal (especially in the video field), very high-performance autofocus, joystick, sensor, currently the best compromise for those who need both photos and videos. Cons: Grip improved but still uncomfortable (the little finger remains out), optical care and used market gaunt (but it is a matter of time), touch Limited, menu tangled, LCD screen with really low resolution compared to even APSC reflex dated. Conclusions. In my opinion the top is achieved by buying a body dedicated almost exclusively to photography and another dedicated to video. To carry two kits is however heavy and above all expensive. This is when this Sony comes to the rescue of the advanced photo-amateur and the videomaker, uniting in a single room The two functions, with a result beyond the average even if not excelled. Ultimately, if you want to switch to Sony and make videos purchased the series "S", if you take pictures there is the series "R". If you do both this to date is the best solution.

Pros: Image quality, autofocus, burst, practicality of the body

Cons: Menu a little messy

Opinion: I switched to Sony from a Nikon D610 and I have to say that they are not minimally comparable machines. Sony is a true jewel of practicality and quality. The autofocus does not mistake a shot (I use the Sony 24-105) and the image quality is outstanding. The generated files are very workable. Even at high ISO you have a very good yield succeeding with some trick to bring home the shot even in more difficult conditions. The autonomy is excellent. The video part is remarkable even if it still does not exploit it to 100%. I am very satisfied with the change made, I wait to test it for a safari with an appropriate optics.

Pros: Autofocus, high ISO rendering, portability.

Cons: LCD monitor with inadequate resolution and not tilting enough to allow those who make videos especially to self-framing, menu confusing.

Opinion: After the full frame of canon and cause a quarrel with the service centers of Canon I decided to switch to Sony, and until now this machine has been shown (for my amateur use at least) like canon with which I had lenses L series while here I still have that Lo of the kit, soon I'll have something more than this sensor the Meir.

Pros: Dynamic, high ISO holding, number of focus points, burst speed, tiltabile and touch screen, double SD slot, magnesium alloy body

Cons: Missing the paper manual, lack the apps, support to touch to improve

Opinion: After many years of Canon I thought this was the perfect time to switch to a mirrorless machine. The Sony A7 Series 3 is fully mature, and being that they are not yet mirrored Canon series outputs, I could sell my old SLR material to an appreciable amount. The body of this Sony is really fantastic, it gives a feeling of strength and professionalism. The numerous programmable keys are in my opinion already very comfortable in the basic configuration. Dynamic, high ISO holding, number of focus points, burst speed, tiltabile screen and touch, dual SD slots are the main points that led me to the choice of this brand and model. The footprint is fabulous: the Sony A7III + Optic kit has the same size as the Canon APS-C with optical kit. The weight is slightly higher than that of Sony, because it has the body in magnesium alloy, against the plastic of the Canon. I have never used the previous version of the menu organization, present in the old models, but this seems more than good, considering the not indifferent number of options. The most used can be included in "my Menu" a completely customizable menu. For the moment I'm using it with the OTTCA in kit, then I will evaluate the purchase of brighter optics, and now that Sigma, Tamron and Samyang have entered decisively in the implementation of Ottche and mount, the prices are definitely more affordable and in line with The other brands. Note, among other things, that while third-party lenses on Canon and Nikon are made with reverse engineering and sometimes give problems, those for Sony are designed using the specifications provided by Sony, therefore fully compatible and upgradeable through Machine body. Among the flaws is missing the manual paper (in the Canon was there), lacks support for apps (I would have liked its evolution, not the elimination), support to the touch to improve (there is no way to scroll the images with your finger!) The Sony A7iii in my opinion has a very high price/quality ratio, is a handyman machine that at the moment is among the best available. Account to keep it for many years, it will take it before knowing at best all its features

Pros: Bah... costs 2300 Euros and you eat anything. I don't know what else to add.

Cons: Unfortunately it only came out now... while the others "who have glasses" still have to figure out how to have super powers in the dark and AF coverage of 93%.

Opinion: I sold the A9 and I kept this. Frankly I can not quite understand the speech that some do about the fact "I chose this for my amateur needs". Gentlemen, it is a machine that everything is except for "amateur needs"... the (needs) by definition... everything is except amateur. For amateur needs you buy a 760D. One a6000/6300/6500 used... a RX100... not a A7III. But what I'm sorry enough in such a portal is to see that the technical sheets of the best known brands "that have glasses eh"... have details so meticulously exact even on bodies from 180 euros new, while this, No.

Pros: AF compartment, speed and coverage with 693 points, dynamic range, sharpness, file quality, quality/price ratio, 5 years warranty coverage also for accidental damage

Cons: None in qualitative terms; Only flaws the charger sold separately.

Opinion: I state that this is the first Sony body I purchase, and I wanted to choose just this product because its specifications were in line with my needs. The body of the A7 III, albeit contained in size and weight, is appreciated for the sturdiness and quality of the materials used. The ergonomics a little sacrificed especially for me, "I have big hands and I was still conscious of this", probably for those who come from a reflex this aspect can be a gap. Point of strength surely are the multiple buttons present, all programmable, that make easy the controls and access to the many functions of the machine. I found a little awkward the front bezel and I have difficulty moving it as it falls in the second phalanx of the index (probably my problem, I would have preferred it to be moved to the inside). Adjustable Monitor and touch screen, electronic viewfinder in the standard and in any case of quality, coming from reflex where they were not present, I consider them an appreciable upgrade. I believe that especially the monitor is appreciable for users who prefer landscapes and macros. I don't use the touch screen much but it's very useful in the video. The Core of this machine is really exceptional, the sensor returns quality files, has an excellent GD and an outstanding ISO seal, for a body that is considered by many to be entry-level, but I must say that it is not so at all. Analyzing the files I was impressed by the sharpness that is returned, also complicit in the AF system that is highly evolved compared to a reflex. My search for crisp files has finally found an answer, "Goodbye soft effect in photos". The only doubt that arose to me, compared to canon that I owned before, is the colour science, in fact the colors of the canon are more saturated and return a pleasant skin tone, the Sony has a neutral aspect, which in PP can be improved. I've got to check that there are systems on the network that allow you to simulate the canon colors on Sony. The AF is lightning-fast and accurate, even in low light conditions really a godsend and eye-AF recognition. I would say that these aspects could be greatly appreciated by portraits and matrimonialisti, as precision is surgical. Definitely two strengths tools, however the coverage with 693 points is no less. In the menu there are several adjustment parameters (which in other bodies of the same category is present in a small part). The menu as reported by different users is really a maze, but I would look at the positive aspects, ie the possibility and the amount of parameters adjustable, of course with My menu you can avoid the maze by programming the most used functions. The silent Shot (electronic curtain) is really appreciable even if in particular situations returns of the bands according to the Conditions of light (neon, artificial lights) and anyway there is always the shot with mechanical curtain, personally I appreciate Very sound of this. The gust is another strong point that for a body of this category is a remarkable step forward, just think that 6 years ago only professional bodies had this feature. I have to say that I don't use this function very much and anyway the evidence that I could make some mistake in focusing can happen with this mode. Video compartment also full of menus and aspects that I will have to verify. Personally I gave 10 to this body, as although there are some aspects that can be improved, "well come because this allows the evolution of machine bodies", I must say that the characteristics and the quality/price outclass every problem also the choice Commercial not to include the battery charger. My opinion I believe that Sony has made a targeted commercial choice, proposing an entry-level body with PRO features.

Pros: A compact mirrorless, perfect, sharpness, 693 focus points, price, double slot, af speed,

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: A room so never had I come from the recent Canon 6d 5d II and Nikon D7000 D 7100 certainly can not compete with the technology of now EVF and everything else an expense done well. Pros: Drone system, video, sharpness, the 693 focus points are a certainty, 1/8000, Iso, dual SD slot, top dynamic range.

Cons: For sure the menu, monitor that could tilt more effectively, the touch is not present in the menus, perhaps the price of goals (a tad out of measure with competitors), the viewfinder albeit good not great sometimes, software to improve.

Opinion: I state that I come from Canon system and a 6DMK2, excellent machine but with some shortcomings for that band, I found myself well until I had it but I decided to change after the release of this machine which in my opinion is the best to date on the market in this mom Ento in the are category. It is accurate and seen that soon expect news about mirrorless canon I anticipated the change to be able to achieve something sensible from my 6DMK2 practically new, incorrect calculation of time of purchase. Then I start by saying that the positives are sharply in favor in this Sony A7III, you have everything you expect from a machine of this level and even more, you a mix between the A9 and the A7RIII that has collected the best things with some small limitations ovviament And, that to me sincerely not being professional working but from O I have to sell. The focusing system of this machine is something incredible, to try to believe, there are several videos on the net that prove it and explain it very well, I didn't really believe I have a security so in bringing home the shot , I was thrilled by how reliable it is compared to what I had before. I realized the shots at the moment with the lens of Box 28-70 and I was surprised by how sharp and in focus the images taken sometimes even in an absolutely hasty, which with canon most of the time there was always something that I do not Convinced. As for compactness I have to say that although being much more compact and petite of the 6DII compared to the M5 is more massive especially now that I have the 24-105 (arrived recently) you notice more, but of course a FF with quality as this difficult that can be more compa Tta and a minute. Surely I will go to match at least still a couple of lenses but with due time:-). I'm sorry between "having abandoned the Canon system that in my opinion has a system in the practical Act keys, wheels, etc... To date best of all, I sincerely regret today, will be maybe that I still have the Sony not by much but with Canon it seems to me that I was faster to IMP Prevent everything manually, not that with Sony there are functions, even perhaps more customizable, but perhaps less practical, I do not know maybe the time will change my mind. In favor of the double SD slot and now the battery life is at high levels, now with two batteries you do quietly a day stress photos a 1300 shots effortlessly. The cons are of course the menus are practically messed up and unintuitive, too many voices and too mixed, we hope that they settle with software updates. And also the touch that in the menu there is what kind of commercial choice is it? O and touch or not!!! They have to fix this thing with some updates because it makes no sense so in my opinion. On the contrary there is little left and perhaps the cost of the targets is the most against all. Other I have not found to date. In conclusion I would do with my eyes closed the transition to Sony, to date the best machine I owned, its shots when I open them to PC give me more emotion than Canon, I do not know there is always that definition and that made better in every shot , promoted with flying colors.

Pros: autofocus, available 693 focus points, taking pictures in silent mode and the fact that when engaging a third party not she dumps him over and this is a great thing, battery improved over the previous version, I mean a mix of a9 and a7rIII in a only the camera body, and especially the price with just over 2000 euros get you a top of the range (although sony declares that it is an entry level),

Cons: The premise that I come from an SLR (canon 7dmk2) and maybe the only thing I regret and ergonomics but I think it's just a matter of habit. Charger that is not there. Optical Park a bit expensive compared to the competition?

Opinion: Just got word of the mirrorless and its features I immediately proceeded to sell all my canon Kit which included (canon 100 400 7dmk2 II and 17 55 f 2.8) for this lady camera combined with a zeiss 55 mm f 1.8 is really fantastic, I have files with stunning clarity. Really sorry that Canon still has not been able to offer its customers a mirrorless able at least to make a serious competition to Sony. And especially after hours use this sony does want to take and take and take pictures.

Pros: AF, dual slot, video, construction, af-on button, price.

Cons: car charger buy separately

Opinion: Terrific car, after years with Nikon I made the plunge, before joining the z520 with a6000 for video, until you get to this incredible a7 III. I waited this machine for several months, a single body that would give me the ability to leverage both the sub picture than that video. At a competitive price, you have a car almost permanently, with an af incredible, fast and reliable, a dual slot, the af-on button (finally!) and a joystick. Not least important, but not for me, the touch screen. The dynamic range is mind blowing, awesome, 4 k video shadows with a recovery with s-2 and s-3 log log. A battery than the previous series, shame about the charger sold separately at 100 euros (such as batteries). Thanks Sony.

Pros: Af speed, dual sd slots, long life, ergonomics, price

Cons: There is no original batteries charger costing €100

Opinion: years ago I decided to change my whole canon Kit to buy a A7 a A7ll and a A6000 but after intensive use I decided to go back to Canon for various reasons you list:-did you have to go around with 5 batteries for the camera body. -speed AF SLR levels-not some lenses had major defects (24-70 f4) so one day I decided to sell everything and go back to canon, just that over the years and with my back problems go around with that kind of pe I know they made me think a little ... a few days ago I was lucky enough to try this new A7lll from a friend ... I tried it for a half an hour filling and the feelings have all been very positive that I decided to buy it after a short time. The grip is great, very fast focus, the dual slot ensures that you feel comfortable in important events, the battery lasts a lot and held at high iso is fantastic. Now we can take photos at 12000iso with an almost imperceptible noise, and a25600 the pictures are still pretty workable, 51200 even, in some cases, the files are still acceptable. What could be more if we add also priced very competitively? buying a 5 d mk lV would make me shell out extra €1000 ... That said I am very pleased with purchase and I must say that Sony has filled all the gaps the previous version this time unlike other brands emblazoned who don't listen to their customers.

Pros: awesome quality, Eye-Af, exceptional video, ease of use, compactness and lightness

Cons: None

Opinion: I mean, I come from a Nikon D810, i.e. the prehistory against the future. Aside from the video segment that I'm not even to make a comparison because Sony wins 10 to zero, I dwell a little on features and pictures. Resistance at high iso awkward compared to nikon, much lighter, much more functionality and personalization, eye-af that today I can't shoot without ... AFC precise and fast. Excellent tactile screen, EVF perfect. Baldwin wouldn't want more for how much it costs. I don't see competitors in its price range. Thanks Sony for creating this monster
