Pros: File quality, ergonomics, dynamic range, dual slots

Cons: Buffer, BKT limited to 5 shots, high ISO tightness

Opinion: I have been using the D7100 for about 8 years. I took it to replace the D5200 (which in turn replaced the D3200). It's a wonderful world. I mainly use it for landscape and night photos. The files it churns out are fantastic and the shadows very well recoverable. The colors are also excellent. It is very ergonomic and in the hand gives an excellent feeling of solidity and stability. The dual memory slot is very useful, especially if you are traveling. Clearly, today in 2023, the years are noticeable: above 800 ISO the noise is already evident (not very high for heaven's sake!), the buffer is sparse and the BKT is limited to 5 shots. For the BKT 5 shots unlike 2EV is enough for many occasions, but it would have been better to have 7 shots available. All in all for the cost and quality it is a great machine. I have thought several times to move on, but I should throw myself on the FF and I do not consider it the case. In the end I believe that even today it has its reason and that it holds up well the comparison with ML.

Pros: Cost used, construction, ergonomics, ease of use, file quality, dual sd slots

Cons: buffer, high iso

Opinion: It was my second camera, the first was the d3100. An upgrade to say the least huge. The d7100 is built very well, certainly not tropicalized like the top models of the range, but I have never been afraid to take it on any excursion, nor have I ever felt I had to treat it with too much respect because it has always given me a sense of solidity. For what it costs, to a machine with two sd slots, the interface and the color science of nikon, combined with a paste and workability of the photos very very good is difficult to find flaws. Of course if you come from a d850 you can not recover the shadows in the same way, but I took landscapes, night, portraits and rarely disappointed me. It loses a bit if you push it in very dynamic actions such as nature photography, it has a rather limited buffer (about 6 shots) and clearly does not have the tracking functions of the higher-end machines (even true that it is 5 times less) but still with patience and a little technique the shots are taken home and how. I made some very pushed crops on bird photographs and it hardly disappointed me. Even on astrophotography clearly at iso 6400 at night it loses a little, but I guarantee you that if you know how to manage the post the result will still be very good. In my opinion a lady camera, excellent for learning (perhaps even too much), perfect for intermediate photographers and in my opinion an excellent choice even for a professional if he is looking for a second body without fainting.

Pros: Autofocus, sensor, robustness

Cons: Isn't that an FF? It's not a con, it's a buying choice

Opinion: Companion of a thousand adventures, he never left me on foot. Removed from the fact that the sensor is 7 years old and does not churn out raw malleable like today's machines, the rest are just merits. The autofocus is responsive, the construction is that of intermediate-high band, the ability to use only one part sensor allows you to extend the focal length even longer, I think in this machine there is little negative. At the price at which it is found in the used I would say that it can be a great choice for those who want a good machine body at an affordable price, with performance that does not disappoint even in 2020.

Pros: All

Cons: To this day it is still a desirable reflex but mirrorless makes it obsolete.

Opinion: I had 7 DSLR Nikon, this one I loved from the first shot. In second place was the D90. Although the comparison with mirrorless is difficult to hold, I find it still very desirable for those who want a reflex. I talked about how you can also take advantage of full frame lenses on dx machines in my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbIdp3DUDqB-C1Aqn9KMAXQ/ Except the screen that is not orientable but you see and read beautifully has all the keys all the dials, functions, potential, resistance and everything that comes to mind that serves to make beautiful photos. The battery lasts a lot, the top screen is perfect, weighs the right and has a very good grip. The built-in flash works well, the menus and processor are fast, the AF engine commands all possible targets, the double memory slot is very comfortable even to do 2 shoots in a single day, the files are gorgeous, maybe only the colors not too hot. The autofocus is a missile and is very precise. For me I vote 10

Pros: Light to carry

Cons: Not tropicalized like Nikon d300 but is semi-tropicalized

Opinion: Excellent photo quality reflex is better than Nikon D300 but it has fewer seals that don't make it tropicalized but only partially. This is an advantage in terms of weight and footprint but I don't care. Some models have the problem that goes to oily traccie on the cone sensor on the d600. It didn't happen to me, fortunately and I'm also using a Nikon D2X that is heavier to carry. At the definition and image level it's amazing. I also recommend it to those who want to buy used it is a great product. It also has two SD SAMs thing that they took off on the D7500. Even with old optics (type 80:200 Nikon pump) they have an incredible yield.

Pros: Compactness, double slot very useful, U1 U2 very comfortable, file quality with mid-to-high-end lenses, sensitivity for an aps.c

Cons: light underexposure when used with flash compared to the younger sister d7000, higher battery consumption than the little sister, high release price (over 1200) even if it is now about 400

Opinion: Taken as a backup body after 3 years from the D7000 and due to a long repair, I used as the primary body this body. THE difference with the D7000 you see, the quality is improved as files, the 24mpx you see. I noticed a slight underexposure with flashes in TTL-BL mode which forced me to raise the iso and although newer, it generated noise that then was removed in post, but with the D7000 I also saw a different light. After 6 years now, I still own it as "last" body with few shots taken in recent months. Good Machine but I wasn't as excited as the D7000 Vote 7

Pros: Material quality, ergonomics, image rendering, versatility, ease of use, double SD slot

Cons: Buffer, ISO seal

Opinion: Since 2014 I use the D7100 to photograph in motorsport (I shot in both normal and external conditions, such as frost, heavy rain, fog and so on). The camera is really very good, the ergonomics in my opinion is studied well and allows you to have a solid grip on the camera, the settings keys are reachable "by heart" very easily. The materials used are medium/high and befitting the price and usage range in which this camera was sold. Very convenient the configurable double SD slot (raw salting target, raw , jpg, video etc.). After 5 years and with about 150 thousand shots the battery still holds the charge without problems, the sensor instead lost 10% of the original quality. Despite being my first "real" camera, I had no problem learning how to use it, with intuitive menus and commands and fast setting. Buffer not up to the camera, the type of photo I take weighs in raw between 25 and 40MB, the buffer manages to store 5 photos and this on the track is a big limit! The ISO seal in low light is not excellent but you can live with it if you are shot mainly during the day. This camera fears the humidity you try not to expose it directly to rain, otherwise it could get damaged quickly. In any case it is a great camera that I recommend to all people who want a product that is much higher than entry level, without spending too high figures for FF.

Pros: Size, construction, viewfinder, autofocus, burst, internal AF motor that allows you to use AF-D lenses

Cons: Buffer, ISO key

Opinion: I have the machine for 5 months and I tested it in almost all possible areas (except in night photography, so for the opinion on the ISO and AF in low light I will update in the future). Coming from d5300 (and then from any other entry level) what you notice right away is ergonomics, much more professional in comparison. In Hand is wonderfully, I would say better than the latest Sony A7/A9 having tried; It is solid, tropicalized (although I have never exposed it to rain or miscellaneous stuff) and well built. The viewfinder is much better than the entry level, larger and brighter, with pentaprism and coverage of 100 percent. Very comfortable display on the top on the right and also the function that allows you to illuminate it for low light conditions. Customization menu not excellent but still good, with which I associated with a key near the bayonet the very useful 1.3 x crop in addition. The autofocus is great (if I'm not mistaken for D4, although perhaps not with the same potential), chases moving subjects perfectly with AF-C + 3d tracking and is also comfortable to use in single AF with the joystick of the menu. Never tried Auto AF. The burst of 6 fps is very good, pity for ill buffer of only 6 shots that makes it jam right away (problem that resolves with a fast SD and not clicking for more than a second). The only thing EXTREMELY annoying is the position of the ISO key, which can not be associated with another key and obliges the use of the left hand, HATEFUL when using heavy telephoto lenses (in my case when I do wildlife) where you would not want to force The bayonet. Extremely recommended to all those who come from the series D3/5xxx, Rating: 9

Pros: AF system, pentaprism and VF with 100% coverage, files with good dynamic range, low weight. 1.3 additional crop. Wireless management of external flashes

Cons: Buffer, Ergonomics compared to the 300 and 500 series, generally reactivity of the machine. Body partially in magnesium.

Opinion: Excellent APSC machine. She does not lack anything and with good optics she returns very detailed files. Compared to the D300 that I had and (much) appreciated I do not convince ergonomics and layout of the keys, but so ... because for the professional layout you need to go on the d500 with more than triple spending. Moreover, it shares the ergonomics with the 600 Fx series, very good the Iso car as well as the Dlighting with which you can get jpegs already usable. Developing the raws you realize that the files are very soft and well workable in PP. The autofocus of mine is perfect and I have to say that, as per technical specifications, it also fits well with AFD lenses. The machine works very well with Nikon flashes, even in wireless mode: I would say that Nikon's CLS excellence is truly a guarantee. With my some Sigma lenses do not focus in liveview .. I do not know if it's a problem of my lenses or my d7100. There is noise but it is not excessive and manageable. With a machine of this kind and quality optics% 26agrave; any prosumer user could be satisfied, even if it is a pity that Nikon leaves to third-party manufacturers the offer of brighter DX zoom lenses of f / 2.8; Given the compatibility problems with the liveview, the purchase of 1.8 sigma zoom is a hazard (if for the type of use we make of the machine the LV is essential). The only really important downside concerns the construction that compared to the D300 is a step backwards. I believe that the grafting objectives would deserve to be screwed onto the magnesium body to ensure better sealing with weight optics.

Pros: Body, Sharpness, 24mpx, ISO Hold, Fantastic Display, 100%

Cons: Buffer limited but I do not need it

Opinion: I think as a sensor between the apsc is the top. Excellent sharpness, coupled with the crop factor of the DX format, and the absence of the low pass filter makes it great for macros and landscapes. The 24 milliseconds allow excellent crops and the high ISO is excellent: up to 25600 iso if well exposed the files are perfectly workable. The body has an impeccable construction with excellent ergonomics and weight and bulky contents. Sincerely though it's 2013 I do not need to spare it since i do not need the 7200's wi-fi and wi-fi, i do not give up at 4 mpx for the d500 / 7500 and let's stand the Canon apsc. Highly recommended. Voting 10.

Pros: So much

Cons: Little

Opinion: First SLR bought used. I come from bridge with Microsensor. The step forward is remarkable. Let's say that as a mid-range SLR at the used level I do not know what you can expect more. Double slot convenient You can also split the work JPEG and NEF between the one and the Other tab. Wide possibility of customizing ring nuts and keys. Excellent gust, ability to use AF lenses that used to be found at decent prices. Excellent optical viewfinder Although I would have preferred a higher magnification anyway from so much information. Despite the use the battery lasts a lot in reflex mode. Autofocus system that also allows F8 to be used after software update and allows a variety of combinations with multipliers. High-magnification LiveView system to find the correct focus, satisfactory quality monitor, possibility to process the NEF directly in the room and in image display mode you have all the information you need to evaluate the photo. Excellent yield up to ISO 3200 while decreasing the dynamic range in good light conditions gets great files. 24 megapixels are so many and with appropriate objectives it returns a wonderful file, of cons with little objectives resolute from a very mixed image.... Let's say that if he had a more evolved liveview with all the information he could, for an average user like me, be the definitive machine, sure to have the focus peaking and the histogram being shot when you're on tripod and in manual focus is a great thing and with this Machine is not possible, you have to shoot and then evaluate the result. The buffer flaw I passed it with a Sandisk SD card with a write speed of 90MB/second once filled the buffer (about 10 photos 2 seconds approx) continues to snap slowing to about 2/3 frames per second more than enough for my needs. Excellent ergonomics. Video tried for whim looks good but a little backwards compared to the competition. Tropicalization not proven.

Pros: Sharp, silent and with little vibration allows the use of relatively long freehand time.

Cons: Very humid, it is not true that it is tropicalized

Opinion: Discrete machine with a large MA like a home. Two drops of water fall, and those come right inside and it is to be thrown away. Nikon Assistance is usually arrogant and does not cover the damage even if used in conditions that resemble those of some photos of their advertising on the 7100. To have time and desire to Could bring legal action.

Pros: Double slot, ISO hold, af, construction

Cons: Insufficient Buffer

Opinion: I use it for about two years. I only do this: great car, but for naturalistic photography it is better to go to something else. The RAW buffer only takes 6 shots and in some situations (eg moving birds) you have to shoot in jpeg Make sure you get a gust of more shots and then catch the moment. For the rest is a great APS-c for macro, landscaping and portrait. R Very resistant and well made

Pros: Building, housing two SD card, good layout of the controls, sensor

Cons: Seal of ISO, buffers

Opinion: See among the discontinued a 2013 camera body does reflect on how a new object becomes obsolete quickly ... it seems like yesterday the day when I bought it and was testing the 6400 ISO photographing my cat in the room. I no longer have this camera body being past (recently) to D500, but I've used it for almost four years and I was pretty happy. The problem is that the evolution of the D7000 was not exactly what many owners of APS-C asked. A great voice, in fact, even then it required a successor of D300, which is a body with "small" sensor, but professional and efficient. D7000, however, was not so old as to require an immediate upgrade! Two SD card slots were immediately comfortable. Burst enough, not compensated by a buffer that was filled right away making it impossible to realize more than six consecutive shots with memory cards "normal." Absurd to take a body midrange car and then match them more expensive for Lexar ridurre writing those delays ... The 24mpx sensor is great, returns raw files between 24MB and 38MB absolutely manageable (personally I have always worked with them a great ASUS, however, dated 7-8 years, in Lightroom and Photoshop). The control layout is valid while positioning the ISO button next to the live view and not at the top, next to the small LCD, where he would find the most logical of housing (which will happen, for example, D500). Ironically, it is not thought to add to this body of the machine the swivel screen that was present instead of D5100: a macro I would serve as the bread on the table ... this however the crop-on-room x1.3, function It lightens the files and performs a pre-post production crop. I'm not at all satisfied with the noise kept up to ISO 1600 you get a good detail and texture are very limited, then have problems. In 3200 the files are often manageable, but the detail starts to drop. At ISO 6400 and above as well we not talk about it, but one has to consider that he spokein a body of non-professional machine, still it sold at about a thousand Euro in 2013.

Pros: AF speed and reliability, high ISO estate with wheels etc buttons editable settings directly without accessing the menu

Cons: Buffer say (and I to the type of picture that I do not need)

Opinion: I've got to use this machine (which is my first SLR) in codizioni unfavorable: moving subjects, without flash and uneven indoor light is not particularly bright, and I always "brought home the shot." Even when I had to shoot instinctively not to miss the subject the machine has almost always done what I expected! RnSospetto that 7200 is actually even better but I feel the need, the pictures are beautiful!

Pros: Excellent APS-C camera, has everything a photographer asks, handling and weight, AF speed, ruggedness, you can do anything.

Cons: The buffer a bit slow, but it is solved with a SD Lexar 1000x

Opinion: I own a dozen bodies of machines, including the D7000 (my favorite), perhaps I can not make the most of its potential but I guarantee that the chromaticity of the colors and the speed with which adapts to light is eccezzionale.Per photos macros, its 24.1 megapixels are very useful. It adapts well for photographic hunting for sports photos. Not distegnia movies with a opportuno.Se lens knows how to use gives you some beautiful pictures and not lose a single click. The d7000 and D7100 are the heir of d300 for the quality of the shots, but with a speed 5 times higher. consigliatissima

Pros: Construction, Double SD slot, speed and precision AF, pro commands, resolution, internal AF motor

Cons: Lack access (maybe), buffers

Opinion: Excellent machine, never missed a beat. The highest level, perfect controls, accurate and fast autofocus, ability to adjust in the room for the AF single-lens. rnRisoluzione excellent, making it to perfection with high quality lenses. It bursts good, but a little buffer 'poor compared, nothing serious though, just take the measures. rnUn'APS-C certainly good, well built, consigliatissima.

Pros: dual slot, AF, ergonomics and tropical conditions, crop and 1.3 ... more

Cons: buffer

Opinion: Bought a year I can only declare myself more than satisfied with the choice. Excellent reflex of all, capable of churning jpeg practically ready and Raw that if exposed properly, do not require major interventions in pp. Sensor 24 mpx very demanding as to the objectives to use but that returns a lot of satisfaction in terms of sharpness. Excellent quality up to ISO 3200 in extreme lighting conditions, otherwise it is better not to exceed the ISO 1600. All controls (and there are many) in the right place and easily accessible, excellent ergonomics and double ring. Excellent optics with Nikon AF, some hesitation with third-party lenses. The only flaw the buffer if you shoot in RAW does not allow to go beyond 4/5 frames in burst, improved by sd ultra fast cards. I already knew the problem before purchase, but given the type of photos that I do, for me is not an obstacle. equipped with motor Af, it allows the use of old optical AF does not motorized. Fantastic crop in the function room but I would have liked a better definition of9; area in the viewfinder that requires a lot of attention if you want to avoid cutting photos. The battery life is great and if you do not use too the LCD screen enables long working sessions. Excellent double slot sd allowing you to simultaneously save both jpeg, either Raw or, alternatively, to activate the back-up function depending on the final scheda.rnIn excellent reflex that although discontinued, you can still buy new at a good price. Highly recommended especially for those who like me had some nikon afd optical old in the drawer.

Pros: All

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I state to have used the Nikon D90 for 6 years, after which he started giving me little problems with the specchio.rnHo decided to stay in with a new Nikon reflex.rnL'alternativa was between the D7100 and the new D7200. After a long search as to the differences between the two cameras, I noticed that the new D7200 offered a couple of features that I never used. Therefore, I threw myself on the most proven D7100 spending 350 euro less than the D7200.rnRisultato? The D7100 is a fabulous reflex superior to my old D90. I was surprised by the huge opportunity to photograph with few, if any light, raising the very ISO.rnFantastica focus, fast and precise with his 51 points easy to use. To touch you notice the robustness and build quality. Photography 24mpx, with a eccesionale quality and the ability to "croopare" (crop) the picture without losing quality. Greatly enjoyed double housing for 2 card. Battery long life. Delighted why my breakthrough.

Pros: If properly used bakes wonderful files

Cons: 24 megapixel sensor on APSC scare

Opinion: Purchase made recently and skipped the 7200 to give more space to the optics, I'm finding it very well. Menu well done, very comfortable double slot, ergonomically perfect. With Tamron 70-300 Sp there I am fine with the Sigma 17-70c ..... are coupled vincenti.rnCon Tokina 116 dx2 tends to overexpose a little but nothing grave.rnCon a high-performance card not feel problems with buffer the burst instead works well up to 6 shots in Raw.rnIl monitor and 'large and luminoso.rnLa left ring a little uncomfortable while blocking fire and dials on the right very comfortable and absolutely recommended intuitive.rnUna machine, excellent focus level, except in difficult situations such as light proved more accurate .rnOvviamente would give the best with optical super expensive but with the three I listed above have achieved a great compromesso.rn

Pros: Dual-slot, 51-point AF

Cons: Perhaps the buffer

Opinion: I use it for over a year, I am very well both as ergonomics weight. Is the brilliant and rich in color photos. A small problem can perhaps be the buffer, but I solved that by purchasing an SD Lexar 1000X, now no risk of losing no time to "catch." Very comfortable the two slots for SD.rnSono passed to D7100 from D5100 I have to say that a "small" jump there was. Has a good hold of the ISO, of course you can not expect the results of the D810 or DF, but manages to make some good photos up to ISO 3200/4000. At least for me. Very convenient Fn button for the "MIO menu management", it saves time for the settings you use most frequentemente.rnrnrn

Pros: Perfect, burst, ISO, body, dual slot

Cons: Everyone says the buffer but in my case it's okay ... no defect

Opinion: Just bought out in 2013 and was first love. Currently I am continuing to use it in all fields and especially in sports. No defects found. For weddings with optical f2.8 arriving smoothly to ISO 1250/1600 and up to 3200 it is decently processed with Lightroom or Photoshop. Pros: Excellent reflex APSC semi / pro worthy sister D90, excellent viewfinder, the display, the ability to use two memory cards, etc. etc.

Cons: When to use it, nor do I have not encountered any flaw.

Opinion: I started to put the first steps in this wonderful world of photography with a Nikon Coolpix L16 after the D60, the D3100 and D90 are then passed to a D7100 APSC semi / pro, compared to the first three with the D7100 worthy sister of D90 It is a whole new world. A well-made camera body, slightly larger display, good resistance to high iso then just equip it with some good goals and we have good results. I equipped with a Sigma 18/300 3.5 2.8 17/70 and a series C. that give me good results.

Pros: Ergonomics, 51 autofocus points, 1 / 8000s, sensor, ISO

Cons: Buffer with a limited capacity

Opinion: Using the D7100 for a year, it purchased for photos everyday and sports. The body is made of a semi pro, strong and stable, with the controls in the right places and the possibility to customize some. Autofocus is excellent for long-range damage and distribution, precision, speed even in low light (focusing even with the filters ND 10x at sunset). The sensor produces dense RAW from which you can extract jpeg quality already with camera raw, and even at high ISO despite a DX behaves very well (I took photos in 3200 and with the minimum of post production I printed 30x40 perfect!) . The buffer has a limited capacity, but I think this is a false problem, in the sense that "strafe" produces many shots and increases the work in post instead if you get used to seize the moment and taking new 3-4 at most, you learn and read the scene and you will go home with less work to do. Many compare her with the D300 ... had side for two months and immediately resold ...Machine at a cost "normal" can give great satisfaction.

Pros: point autofocus sensor, sharpness,

Cons: accoppiargli need a sd card fast otherwise you can not take advantage of the flurry.

Opinion: I went from a D90 to D7100 mostly to the most advanced sensor. Compared to the D90 I note management at high ISO better than the D90 (and this is the main reason why I got it). Even if you shoot at ISO 2000 in low light you manage to get a picture richer in detail in post-production. rnInteressante factor CROP drive that allows you to "stretch" my 500mm (it comes down to 18mpx but we must consider that they are still very much) .rnIn final considering the cost and the "technical value" of the machine are satisfied.

Pros: Form 51-point AF, dual SD slot,

Cons: High noise in RAW.

Opinion: I bought it just out, it has replaced my old D50. Given the considerable leap fact, maybe my expectations were too high. The fact is that they are not that satisfied. I do photo hunting with the "old" 300 f4 D, working in RAW with fast times, often in less than optimal lighting conditions (in undergrowth), with automatic ISO. For a genre where the sharpness is all the noise that we find ourselves at a higher ISO 800 it is absolutely unacceptable, and often is too high even at 300 ISO. Things improve a lot with light and good times a bit slower, but with my kind of picture, you can almost never work well. For the rest is a good car.

Pros: Sensor quality, good construction, dimensions, good sealing ISO

Cons: If we want the BUFFER ... the single biggest impediment if we are used to "strafe" display mode in play Unclear.

Opinion: We found a good opportunity used, about 7000 shots. I do not miss nothing compared to d810 but I still keep that for other types of shots. This machine has the advantages of the APS-C for macro and nature while maintaining a very good image quality. A sensor very dense but maintains a high quality, davvero.rnPer many the only problem will be the buffer, 6 continuous shots and then slows down a lot, but for those like me who are small bursts of max 3 to 4 shots at a time the problem does not occur rarely. If you enable the reduction of noise and distortion reduction on room and you also get to a buffer of 3 shots max ... really pochi.rnUn'altra special features that I noticed is that the lack of clarity of the display shots, because when I go to review click the image appears blurry, but just minimally enlarge the image changes completely, perhaps this is due to the "neutral" in the picture control.rnSono however satisfied and I feel quietly to advise!

Pros: All Over

Cons: Says the buffer with a limited capacity, but not my problem

Opinion: Since only two days I took the D7100 practically new, for the moment I was really impressed, excellent color rendering excellent autofocus only occasionally veers slightly on cool shades easily fixed even in your room, made at high ISO up to 3200 ok. I particularly enjoyed the endless settings picture control for the portrait being the 7100 without the filter, I thought it was not suitable for the portrait but only for a avifauna.Con dx so I faded the FF, quoto those who preceded me that the d600 is back indietro.Inoltre the 1.3x crop on the right does not disappoint at all! Pros: Body (IDENTICAL to D610) - sensor - raw file workable - construction - weight - good seal ISO

Cons: Buffer that does not take much when you shots in RAW (problem on D600)

Opinion: after 80,000 shots with a Nikon FF always, the D600, I decided after luuuunghissime reflections to take a step back and retrace DX sensors to leverage their multiplication factor. I will then brief comparison based on my experience from semi-pro photographer (wedding and still life) between the two machines and basically between the two sensors: that's it ... the only real difference I found in favor of more expensive D600 is held at high ISO. For the rest, two identical machines !!! great body resistant, comfortable controls, customizable buttons, dual slot x SD (ottimoooo) !! Really an exceptional car the D7100 !! When I speak of sealing at high ISO, I mean above 2500 as ISO sensitivity up to lower you will notice the difference only croppando. personally I never go beyond this threshold, because the pictures taken at ISO 12,000 sonon unusable for me as well if taken with a D4! rnrnvi advice then to properly evaluate whether to spend 600-700 euro for a FF when you have available theor the same body and the same excellent quality with the D7100 and a DX sensor that lets you zoom in and you can save even more on optical (FF ones cost more!).

Pros: machine very sturdy and well manageable by shooting speed swift and silent;) at an even pentaprism viewfinder very sharp, I really liked the colors and contrast.

Cons: the buffer is filled immediately in the shooting mode Raw, I find it a bit confusing the settings menu but if we devoted enough time at the end you can not understand the essential, I would say a bit complicated for those who buy as first SLR since the vast assortment of special functions .... sometimes you notice a bit of noise in the picture, but, what minimum.

Opinion: I own this wonderful reflex for 2 months now and I can say that so far I am satisfied with the choice;) with my 50mm 1.8 or got great pictures with incredible detail. when I purchased the kit was 18 105 which in my opinion and a good goal, however in my opinion the nikon d 7100 is exploited little in my opinion if one and the beginning like me. Opinion: The use by a few months, in various situations more or less different between them. I find it very powerful in some aspects and definitely more than one step higher than the old D7000 (I have owned 2 even with the same problems), we must be careful to buffer small and the weight of the file, it is very easy to run into problems even at low iso (not a machine easy to operate), the rest is great, spectacular resolution, connectivity and nothing is missing and the video module finally up (too bad that you can not change the aperture in real time) .rnUna curiosity: despite the absence of the low pass filter, to me at times gives the impression of being too soft, in fact, I do not see this great incisiveness that should have a car with this filter is missing.

Pros: not considered to be an SLR professional beats all records for the achievement of maximum sharpness so far achieved only by FF D800E

Cons: Buffer slow. ineffective wiper sensor on Nikon AF lenses and dated I noticed inaccuracies AF and hesitations, sound pretty obvious after 800 iso, but you know that those sensors without filter highlighting well as the sharpness even the graininess. The crop factor is great in quality but I preferred that the cut side is obscured when you use it now as you tend to make mistakes easily by cutting the soggettorn

Opinion: I do not understand those who try such a machine in just a few days .... I was one year that I own and I still can not say I know all too well if the use of hours almost every day. From gape from the results in sharpness that you can pull out. I think it is useless to spend twice as much for a FF such as the D610 while excellent, too. Contrary to what some say this camera is capable of bringing out the best optics also not expensive. Problems with moire ever seen in twenty shots. As for the 'AF is very fast and accurate with the optics of the Nikon with the universal .. I had some problems but I think it's the fault of the internal form of these very dated compared to the processor 7100. The burst speed is slow but with SD something you can do .... still good enough for the photo hunt. I also disagree with those who claim that the shake-sensitive: in my opinion is as sensitive as any other except that here it demands the ultimate in sharpness and certainly a minimum of vibration you feelking. For the noise I've already said above defects but is easily manageable with programs like Neat and Topas. In short, a reflex amazing considering the quality / price ratio. Its 24 million pixels are so dense in ODA as a proportion that exceeds the D800E. The battery shots only if you forget it ..... only if you turn on the monitor for a long time as I do with every shot in the shed and to monitor the success of the shots may be that at the end of the day you should start charging the battery or you will be impression of never ending. The power of the machine has to crop in amazing! practically stretch the optics of 1.3 X and you're holding a sensor that is equal to the density as D7000 sister. Impressive results! Not to mention the particular fondness for shooting macro and micro that make you touch the ultimate in detail with this camera. Jpeg files are great and can be used immediately and surprise I noticed that even if you expose raw right are pretty much ready with very little PP. I have not tried many SLR for now and I do not know canon but between d300 - d700 - d7000 - ranking D800E D800E in my opinion this is the palm of victory .. and immediately turn the D7100.

Pros: Resolution and detail to the top, sturdy and weather sealed camera body, long battery life, the ability to connect wifi device, af 51-point, by DX 1.3x exceptional.

Cons: Buffer poor

Opinion: I recently purchased and I must say that the sensor I was very impressed by the quality and detail that is able to give to photos, manegevole enough of a sense of considerable strength. The battery life is great and even though I come from a d3100 in which I was impressed with the battery life, the D7100 can do much better, which is great for those who travel and are out 1 or 2 days without being able to charge the battery. The buffer is scarsetto, I expected a little more from the team of aps-c, but it gets worse. The noise seems evident after 800 ISO in low light, but it is very manageable, I have not tried the machine at night but will soon. In conclusion I must say that this D7100 is an excellent machine with even a little something to improve, I'm sure that Nikon will soon be done for the new model even more performing.

Pros: Excellent detail (equivalent to over 40Mpx on FF). Autufocus of professional performance. Body robust and ergonomic. 7 fps in DX mode-1.3x (which offers a resolution of 15mpx still respectable). JPEGs are not processed well workable if the frame is well exposed. Of course, the risk of posterization is greater with only 8 bits deep.

Cons: High noise and difficult to manage over 800 ISO (preferably in RAW, JPEG worse). Buffer poor in RAW (with SD card 633X, 95MB / s) reduces the duration of the burst. But for those who are satisfied JPEG (which works fine in 70% of cases), the burst becomes unlimited with a very fast SD (actually stops after 100 frames to preserve the system from overheating).

Opinion: A great car for me, a modern and semi-professional body that is worth its price. No regrets so far. The noise is a problem when shooting in low light with a short time and you do not use the JPEG format. But if we think that they are less noisy 24mpx of 12mpx a D300s, there is not much to complain about, certainly for those who have an "old" D300 (s) the transition will surely give satisfaction.

Pros: camera body strong, resolute sensor, dual SD slot, autonomy.

Cons: buffer very poor, self-cleaning sensor ineffective noise even at low ISO if you use the d-lighting.

Opinion: I got this camera last August, since then have followed so many highs and a few lows. Needless to enumerate the many quality step to defects which are few but important. The two most obvious are definitely the poor buffer and dust that settles on the sensor easily. As already written the integrated sensor cleaning system is completely ineffective in a few months and I've already had to provide 3 times to clean the sensor. The noise, contrary to what other reviews you already excessive under ISO 1000 and if you make the mistake in good faith to rely on the d-lighting function is obtained by taking pictures noisy even at 100 ISO. The sensor is still great but beware: if you plan to buy not even remotely think you can squeeze those 24mpx with the optical bundle.rnPersonalmente I feel satisfied with this camera, however, that, when used in tandem with quality optics, gives great emotions .

Approaching the eye to the viewfinder is pleasantly struck by the brightness and width of the same with all the necessary information and even more, excellent choice to equip the viewfinder of a transmissive display with all written in white color. The files that churns out are nice, clean and very detailed in jpeg, indeed I must say that if you set all the parameters for this camera produces good pictures already beautiful and ready without necessarily having to waste a lot of time in front of the monitor to develop the Raw that for the most geeks surely be able to give something more. The only are the 24 MP that if on the one hand they also return the smallest of details, churn also 32Mb file, not really leggerini. E 'with me for a few days but it is giving me a lot of soddisfazioni.rnI 24 MP are seen but are felt with the weight of about 25-30MB files each, advice SDHC High velocità.rnConsigliata at all with a little' experience, as in my first SLR a bit 'too much.

Pros: 51 Points of focus, handle much improved, with additional battery pack is very handy function 1.3 crop useful to those who want to save on the purchase of a multiplier, viewfinder with 100% coverage of very readable thanks to OLED technology, the absence of the low-pass filter, sharpness of the picture.

Cons: Battery lasts less the fault of the big 3.2-inch LCD, memory buffer fills up easily and makes you wait for the rescue especially when shooting in RAW + JPG mode.

Opinion: I switched from D90 to D7000 to D7100 and then compared to the D7000 D7100 has many features that I have listed in the pros and cons. I am very happy with the new purchase, use this machine as a second body to be attached to D800E and I have to say that the absence of the low-pass filter is felt, the photos are much clearer than those taken with the D7000.

Pros: Sharpness, manageability, functionality

Cons: Yet to be found ... Perhaps the price?!? And ... the flurry limited to those who use it ...

Opinion: I have not so much and I could not test it yet in any type of photos and condition, but the impressions after the first shots are very positive.rnLa lack the low pass filter offers an unrivaled sharpness right on machines in this range , sometimes even "too much" (used for glamor photo shows every little imperfection in the skin or peletto pardoned from waxing ...: P). rnAd ISO mid / high (1500/2000) retains a good level of detail even in poor light and the noise generated is very uniform and easily removed in post produzione.rnIl camera body is very sturdy and solid thanks to the skeleton in magnesium and at the same time is quite leggero.rn24MP 14bit and generate raw heavy enough (on average between 24 and 28 MB) and are only supported by the latest versions of LR and PS at the same time require PC / Mac last generation (64bit architectures ...), alternatively you can convert from. nef to. dng adding not a little time to normal workflow.rnI numerous buttons (and programmability of some of them) alloweasy access to most settings, it is not immediate and suitable as first SLR but ... rnL'elevato number of pixels and the absence of lowpass make you deal with camera shake always lurking! rnih final: a ' excellent semi-professional objectives that requires a good degree of sharpness to be appreciated (Objectives handyman kit and are not his friends ...), I would do that purchase. More could I ask for only a full-frame generation ...
