sent on November 08, 2021 Pros: Dynamic Range, High ISO, Lightweight Body, Dual Memory Card, 24mpx Cons: 39 close AF points, burst Opinion: I took it as a third body this summer because using the flagships I wanted something light and cheap, and for weekends with my family. In 2016 I had the D610, I was helping a photographer friend in ceremonies and I can say that they are practically the same. What I don't like are the 39 AF points too close, poor burst and I have to test it well in low light. On the positive side it has a fantastic dynamic range, dual slots and high ISO. Good FF to start with ceremonies but possibility of losing some shots because not very sensitive in places with little light. |
sent on October 20, 2021 Pros: Full frame with good performance and still current at a very low price (used of course). Cons: Considering the price none. Opinion: I sold my old SLR to buy an ML, but after a few months I was seized by an atrocious nostalgia for the mirror ... the noise, the optical viewfinder, that feeling of having in your hands something not only electronic but also a bit mechanical ... I know that some of you can understand me. Not to mention that the F mount gives access to a huge optical park and in this the Z are still a bit immature. I found a d600 at a really affordable price and I could not resist, so I took it as a second "battle" camera body. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance, considering it's a car from a good 9 years ago! The sensor is still current, the resistance to ISO (6400 + extension) is not bad at all (although the Z6 of course is an undisputed queen in this, they can not be compared). Personally I find it very ergonomic, the controls are all there and in the right places and has weight and small dimensions to be a full frame SLR. It is a machine that was born with some standard problems, around you find them with shutter replaced ... mine no, the dealer assured me that Nikon still provides free assistance out of warranty but for now it seems to me there is no need. Nikon had replaced it after a year with the d610 and this contributes to further lowering the price in the used. As cons, for the price at which I bought it, I don't feel like saying anything. Accustomed to the Z6 I am a little indisposed by the fact that all the points of MAF are in the center, but it is a matter of habit. Basically, I recommend it to those who want a second camera body, to those who do not have many economic resources and, above all, to those who want to start with photography instead of buying an entry level of dubious quality, perhaps spending even more. |
sent on December 23, 2020 Pros: Stratospheric sensor and still current. The price of the used car. The quality of the files. Held at high ISO. Cons: Not found yet. Opinion: I believe one of the best FF sensors adopted by Nikon. 24 megapixels are enough and advance to make each and hold to the tall iso amazing. Excellent image quality and price of used even more. I photograph everything and never a disappointment, never an empty shot. When used with good optics it guarantees fulfilling results. I've always had it and I'd buy it back again. |
sent on November 29, 2020 Pros: All in all light, good AF, excellent autonomy, very complete in functions Cons: No stabilization, a bit large, AF points concentrated in the central area of the viewfinder, widely exceeded live-view, fixed screen Opinion: Compared to today's mirrorless it looks like a construction tool. Yet it convinced me to make the leap two years ago towards the FF thanks to an occasion that could not be said no. It had the classic veneer sensor, but it was replaced for free with that of the D610. If you exclude a cleaning last year, I must say that he accompanied me for over eight thousand shots without problems. Above all, it allowed me to put back into service some manual optics of the good times That I have kept in the closet since I stopped working on film. Very easy to use, she feels comfortable with long canvases from other brands. It produces light and very workable files, has few pretensions regarding the speed of the board, if necessary you can use two. I don't regret buying despite being a supporter of Sony mirrorless, each of the machines I have in the park plays a precise role. All in all, it could still remain in the catalog to intercept those photographers who want a simple but complete REFLEX, adequate performance and with an endless optical fleet. |
sent on October 22, 2020 Pros: Used value for money, file quality sometimes higher than some current cameras Cons: Don't have it in your bag Opinion: Nikonista for 38 years..... I think I've had and tried everything from analog, digital SLLRs to Mirrorles all at Nikon's house. But the Nikon D600 has remained in my heart I think perhaps among the best SLRs churned out by Nikon. Many complain, but find me a camera from 8 years ago that has this value for money (of the used) you have at your disposal an infinite optical park works everything at very affordable prices! A pure photo reflex suitable for everyone, including professionals still in 2020, does not have the autofocus and buffer and live View of the Z6, D500 etc... but if you need a better performing body there are other rooms, it is useless to criticize this. The tall Iso holds them very well, if you are a little awake in the post (with RAW Room or Lightroom) you can easily exceed 6400 without much trouble. Used with Nikkor G 1.8 lenses, it churns out spectacular files that are still perfectly current today, perfect in the wedding and for years that I have been using it together with many other professionals without problems. I recommend it especially to those who need a second level body without fainting, or for those who start instead of overpaying entry level of dubious quality with useless gadgets. With this you start great and maybe you also start learning to photograph. |
sent on September 19, 2020 Pros: Price, file quality, dynamic range Cons: Maybe autofocus but considering the age of the project there is Opinion: Former Pentaxian ... passed to FF and then to Nikon ... step from d600 to d610 to d750 ... period interspersed with 2 fuji (but always with at least 1 FF Nikon) until the big jump to Sony ... 7 and 7 iir... due little time to devote to photography I sell everything ... unable to resist without camera I go back to Nikon and (re)I take the d600... little expense and a lot of yield; I've never been too convinced of Sony's electronic crosshairs and actually files. I find the best Nikon files despite having the same sensors; comparing the files of the a7 (actually in proportion also of the a7iir) with those of the d600 (and my old d750 with the Tamron 15 30 always mounted) honestly I find better the Nikons with a superior recovery especially of the shadows; I have to say that for the price paid I do not think it is better ... sometimes it's nice to think that you don't have to follow the fashions ... Nikon reflexes are always great, endless battery, top ergonomics.... small tanks... if you don't have special needs of af I think it's still very valid |
sent on August 10, 2020 Pros: Price now, sensor, iso reasonable, ergonomics, menu, weight and despite age is still valid Cons: AF not lightning, video fps, burst, storage, shutter splashes oil Opinion: I think I can do a review after 7 years of use and 80,000 shots. I'm going to the point, AF embarrassing with optics NOT Nikon gets to miss even 60 photos out of 100, you can put all the cards in the world but the storage is slow, maximum shooting time 1/4000, then all a fairy tale, used as the first camera flanked by D800E, D3 and D500, among the four my first car to put in the backpack is the D600, also because the D500 is sewn around the neck. Just know its diffs and then goes like a train, never stops, infinite battery, iso reasonable up to 6400. I had everything Nikon and I say ALL from 14mm 2.8 to 400mm 2.8 I sell everything or almost (no D500)x follow the mass and switch to Mirrorless Fuji, ......................... I manage to sell almost everything except the D600 does not want anyone, I work with fuji large machines, after 2 years I am selling fuji x review to Nikon (Reflex). |
sent on June 12, 2020 Pros: Used price, image quality, reliability, ergonomics, size. Cons: Nobody. Opinion: Although it doesn't have a good reputation, the nikon D600 is a full-frame sensor reflex capable of bringing home top-notch work in all climatic and environmental conditions. Aesthetically it resembles the nikon D7200 but the sensor has high qualities that will only come out in the presence of professional optics. With the 50mm returns stunning images. Precise does not miss a shot, never a photo out of focus. In the used market there you buy with prices below an entry level. |
sent on May 09, 2020 Pros: Sensor that returns a good yield, double slot, ergonomics Cons: Sensor gets dirty easily, awkward autofocus, live view ridiculous! Opinion: Purchased a few months ago with just over 2000 shots practically new, at a very advantageous price, I knew of the known problems at the Sensor, but I always tried to clean them alone and I did not worry, double slots very useful, good ergonomics, good materials, the ghiere and selectors instead do not make me a good feeling, at least for what I expected both in terms of touch and functionality , especially of the blocks, I come from Canon systems, and in the night photography I have to say that I was disappointed by the live view, it is lower than more entry level of the same year, the menu is very intuitive even if you come from other systems it's all a bit where you expect, good dynamic range never the colors rendered found them a little cold, you need post production , the hold at the high ISO in general is good, needs to know it to understand how much you can push in various situations without suddenly generating too much noise, needless to give threshold values! The autofocus is embarrassing, both for the arrangement of the points and the functionality itself, perhaps the downside! Today the idea that I made of this machine is that it was developed with what was in the house, more than by a technical department from a commercial office on a Friday night! It's a shame! You can clearly see that the machine was "victim" of business choices, would you recommend it? Maybe as the first full frame, and for the possibility to use "old" lenses available at a good price of good quality, in short where you have to spend little and understand where you want to get! |
sent on May 02, 2020 Pros: Ergonomics, finishes, image quality Cons: Maybe weight and size Opinion: I say I come from a series of compact cameras and I don't have a great experience. I started discovering the world of DSLRs with the D600, I've been using it for about four years, and here I think I still have a lot to learn. I can still say that it looks like a sturdy machine, built with good materials and excellent finishes. I find it has a very good ergonomics, the main controls are always at your fingertips, very comfortable the double-dial adjustment system. Great customization possibilities, very intuitive the way to adjust the various functions. Great quality of the images, with an excellent rendering of colors. Fortunately, it's not one of those affected by the shutter problem that soils the sensor. I think the only flaws can be weight and size, but I think on such a machine it's normal. |
sent on February 27, 2020 Pros: High-level old-school Reflex Cons: It doesn't live up to expectations Opinion: It's my opinion written only AFTER using this machine a couple of years. I've had 7 Nikon DSLRs so far. I came from entry level and APS-C, I studied all the secrets of PRO and SemiPro reflexes before making the step to FullFrame. This model has always been at the top of DxO's rankings for sensor quality, and it's true, the photos are beautiful. But don't be fooled, the dynamic range is not so great and the autofocus system limits a lot of the creative composition skills in the center. Shadow recovery is worse than it should be. I love Nikons and these models are technical and mechanical jewelry but this does not always help to take beautiful photos. You can't orient the screen, you can't focus on something outside the center pane of the AF points. In addition, my specimen has been repaired twice by Nikon but the problem of oil stains of the shutter continued to be there and you only notice if you do landscape. Otherwise it is an indestructible monster and that carries you around even 10 times without recharging the battery, with beautiful and functional keys and ghieres... But in the photographic world that's not all. Often a mirrorless 2014 helps you much more than a 2013 reflex pro. I invite you to meditate. A valid lens to enhance such a sensor can cost you twice as much as the machine. Better? |
sent on January 12, 2020 Pros: Photos Cons: Machine of 2012, which is not necessarily a con. Opinion: I would recommend it to all or almost everyone. After starting with a d60 and a d3300 I switched to this one, attracted by the full size and the price of the used. I was fully satisfied with the results. To be an FF is not too heavy and the files are very pleasant to process on Lightroom. The same JPEGs, however, are already good. It lacks some "modern" features, but those who are used to working photos on the PC do not need them. |
sent on September 04, 2019 Pros: Sensor image quality Cons: Nobody Opinion: I also made the transition from D7000 to D600. Taken used with 7100 shots of which only 2000 made after the replacement of the shutter. It's my first FF, I have yet to know it of course, but the first impressions are: absent iso noise, colors, incredible image quality. The autofocus area is not large but is still usable. The body has perfect weight and size (for me) and with the battery grip becomes even firmer in the hand. For my use has everything, now I have to learn to master it. |
sent on September 02, 2019 Pros: high iso yield, good sharpness, internal engine for af Cons: for now none Opinion: Bought today used: my first full frame. Compared to the d7000, still an exceptional machine, this monster outperforms it in everything. Being used to the apsc format, I expected to be interrupted by the fact that the af points are concentrated in the middle of the frame, but in reality I did well for now. I would like to add further considerations after a little practice |
user144605 ![]() ![]() | sent on August 22, 2019 Pros: Double memory slots Cons: Age in 2019 Opinion: The D600 was the second Full Frame heir to the Nikon F100 design after the D700. The improvements, compared to the D700, were remarkable, 24mpx versus 12, double memory slots, use of SD instead of CFs, video mode, 100% crosshair coverage but lost in bursts and, incredibly, in AF points. A shutter problem made life of the D600 very short (Nikon quickly and furiously replaced it with the D610). Reviewing it in 2019 makes you smile: compared to today's machines it lacks a huge number of features/features, from the LCD not tipper nor touch to the absence of Wi-Fi. I have owned it for years (without any shutter problem) and despite being an old lady, she produces beautiful files in every situation. |
sent on August 14, 2019 Pros: Construction, dynamic range, value for money, battery life Cons: Known problem of shutter that soils the sensor. Opinion: A tank with which you can do any kind of photography. For years it was my main machine and I did everything from studio photos to portraits, from architecture photos to show photos, from macros to sports to birdlife. I've had two in my life, the first purchased new, shutter replacement in warranty for known problem, then changed two more times for wear, more than 1 million shots in total. The second socket used at 500E practically new. There is, I believe, no other camera with equal value for money. Except for the D610 which is pretty much the same and is at a great price both new and used. A real work mule. |
sent on December 03, 2018 Pros: Best value for money in the entire FF panorama (other than D700...) Cons: Obvious handicaps and castrations introduced by the mother on purpose to not cannibalize the market Opinion: Had, sold to take the d750, then d810, then a7r, then d750 and finally d600 (with Olympus Intermezzo EM1 Mk2). What about, if I came back on this machine after all my laps, in addition to a speech of money, there is also a speech of "not betraying expectations": The machine is a trust allied, the performance are respectable, especially considering that to date, on the market , a FF at €500 or so, with this performance, you don't find it. And his sister d750 costs twice as much, I dare say unsubtly (if you do mostly landscape like me): The dynamic range at low ISO is better in Sister D600. is not an all around, in portraiture his points all concentrated in the center does not help (which is why the substitution), idem the absence of the screen tiltabile, if you feel the lack (I had even the one with the flexible arm on the Canon 600d and the First contact without tilt screen was traumatic). So, in conclusion, if you have reduced finances but you want to give a FF, this is the best solution. Is it worth the jump to the d750? If you need gust and points of MAF less in the center, you, otherwise spare yourselves those €300 and enjoy this without fears! |
sent on January 22, 2018 Pros: Exceptional construction. All the customizations you could wish for. Built-in flash Great file quality, another world compared to the 4/3 sensor. Cons: Imprectable automatic exposure meter with scenes of high contrast (overexposed even 1 EV!) RnThe AF illuminator does not seem to work at low temperatures (0 ° C) .rnWARNING: the original shutter of the D600 is badly managed, the sensor will soon get dirty with oil . At the time of purchase make sure that it has been replaced or that you can do it for free in assistance (mount the one of the D610, exit just to cover this defect). Opinion: After 7 years of Olympus (first E-620 and then E-M1 I), and after long searches and hesitations, I enter into the Nikon FF system with the D600, which I chose for the best quality / price ratio at the moment, to pact to buy it used and with the replaced shutter (same as the D610). SO THEREFORE A COMPARISON BETWEEN THE TWO SYSTEMS. Already after making some comparative shots between D600 + 24-120mm f4 and E-M1 + 12-40mm f2.8, I realized that I would never come back. Who cares a bit 'of encumbrance and weight more (but not so much, compared to the E-m1 + 12-40! I was surprised) and to have the stabilizer within the lenses and not within the body. Shooting with a Nikon FF seems to me like removing a veil from things. The wealth of detail, color, shades recoverable from the RAW in post-production has no comparison with the E-M1, which was exceptional even though it had a sensor of 1/4 area. In addition, the Nikon colors have something magical for me (I tried the Sony A7 II, always FF, and I did not like it at all). Of the E-M1 thinkingI no longer regret anything. Maybe it has a slightly better seal at high ISO equivalents (eg 1600 vs 6400 on FF), but with the same filtering, even if there is less noise the detail is lower, in the sense that a file of the D600 zoomed looks like a window, and that of the E-M1 an oil painting, everything is a bit '"smeared". The stabilizer in the body is the real gem of the m4 / 3 system, but having taken the Nikkor 24-120mm f4 I must say that, thanks also to the heavier and therefore more stable body, the vibration resistance is practically at the level of E-M1 (I can even shoot at 1/20 "at 120mm! Just pay attention.) Of course, go around the city with a D600, as with a D850 or a Canon 5D, gives a little 'more in the eye compared to E -M1, but I do not mind showing a photographer's status even if I do not do it for work. And anyway I always keep a small Olympus E-PL3.Then handling the D600 and seeing the thickness of its manual, it is%3B incredible to say but the E-M1 in comparison looks like a toy. Already she had excellent ergonomics, the position of the dials, menu ... but the D600 I like it for usability even more. From the details you understand that it is a much more professional object of the E-M1 (at least, the first version). It does not come off paint, the rubber is of superior quality, the most fluid dial nuts and regulate instantly (small delay on the E-M1), the delay to start at almost non-existent (1/2 s on the E-M1), the customizations (even on car ISO) are many more, the battery lasts longer and you can insert 2 cards. In short, all added value that I did not expect. It has the built-in flash, less performing than the mountable E-M1 but it is a convenience to have it ready immediately and not always forget it at home. Finally, even the proprietary software is infinitely better than Olympus: the available fixes are many more, it is faster and does not go into crash. For me that I do not like Lightroom this is a great thing. As for the D600 itself, I find it exceptional. An object that is a pleasure to hold in your hand (especially if it's as big as mine). I can not make comparisons with other FF bodies yet. I was worried by the judgments that the AF was poor with little light. Well I tell you that it is slightly more accurate than on the same E-M1 plus the 12-40 (we "see" a little better in dim light, and fewer times the hooking fails). For me it is enough, so to speak at night in the city you shoot well. I would not justify the price jump with the D750 (my first choice). If you do not need discretion at the limit there is the AF illuminator. The only negative note of the D600 that I must recognize is that the automatic Matrix light meter is a bit 'inaccurate when there is high contrast (better was that of Olympus). In these cases, under-specs of -0.3 or -0.7 for safety, or you risk burning a lot of detail. However, patience, a littleIn the end, I would recommend to anyone who has reached a certain degree of maturity in photographic technique, and appreciates the dynamic range, colors and detail, and does not suffer tremendously the weight of the equipment, to make the transition inverse to what many do: mirrorless m4 / 3 or APS-C to Nikon full-frame reflex. |
sent on September 10, 2017 Pros: Semi-pro body, raw, battery life, ergonomics and lightness, sight, iso hold Cons: tilting screen, too close to af point? Opinion: Taken a few months ago. I managed to find an exceptional (practically new) used in the store that withdrawing my D3300 + two lenses sold me for 50 €! Of course, I had to get two optics to cover the focal points I used the most (I only had 105 sigma, among other things perfect on this machine) but for the rest no regrets. Obviously a cameraman like me could very well stay with the 3300 while being an entry had (he!) An excellent performance but being a fan of astrophysics made my throat a better hold on the iso. The thing that you immediately notice when you switch to a semi pro body is the fast commands (double ring), the second lcd screen, the excellent viewfinder, and in short, all those comfortably functions that an entry level does not have. After some time of use you will not be able to do it any more! I would have preferred to have a tilting screen, and even though it has not perceived the limit, maybe the focal points in some situations might be a problem. Good battery life as well as l% 26 # ergonomics and not excessive weight (for a ff). Raw are exceptional, a pleasure to work in post. |
sent on January 19, 2017 Pros: large machine in all respects Cons: dirt on the sensor. Opinion: and 'a good SLR with good fx formed the great af the raw. The downside is that the sensor is cleaned often. The problem partially solved with the replacement of a piece. The 610 d say I do not have this problem with replacing the plug. Solved the problem of dirt is a spectacular car for me, coming from the right format. A different story |
sent on January 13, 2017 Pros: Price, ISO, sharpness Cons: fps and battery grip Opinion: Jack used with very few shots and great leap from the D5000 I had. For even at night with a wide angle accessible to all (Samyang 14mm 2.8) I brought home and on National Geographic very great shots. It holds well the ISO high although I always prefer the use of optical light. Battery with great capacity and ergonomics excellent body. I think is the younger sister of the D800. Too bad they have not integrated a battery grip but this perhaps makes it more lightweight and comfortable even for excursions and trips. |
sent on December 25, 2016 Pros: sensor Cons: limiting functions Opinion: One of the most underrated and best Nikon's full frame sensors. Underestimated, because after the oil slip, Nikon belatedly making the shutter replacement free of charge. Best, because - also because of the balanced density - is still one of the best, with nuances in the signal / noise ratio slightly less perceptibly than the D750. For the rest, I agree with my colleagues here: the only real drawback is the least autofocus sensitivity compared to other Nikon achievements. But even here, it should be understood: it is much less sensitive than that of the D800, for example. However, this limit is apparent only in markedly low brightness condition, while in all other situations it fast and accurate show. Then there is the issue of the concentration of focus points at the center: the landscape pua be a problem, in other areas not. The body. The game is noto: just put some great content in a body less than others of the same make, then worse some features to avert the risk of commercial cannibalization. So we do not have the '1/8000, the housing for the fastest CF cards, the syncro socket for flash and for cable remote attack. Personally I find annoying the absence of a dedicated AF On button: you can tell the machine to assign this function to the AE-L button / AF-L (or to more uncomfortably positioned Fn) key, but in this case it loses the possibility of halfway focuse with the shutter button. |
sent on July 28, 2016 Pros: Cleaning files up to 6400 ISO, excellent sharpness, good ergonomics, even if you do not also quite sturdy at the pro level, excellent dynamic range. Cons: I would have preferred at least one cf sd card along with a limited shutter to 1/4000, points af too placed at the center. Opinion: I own this car for about three years, there was no need to replace the valve as in other copy for the known problem of dust on the sensor and is giving me good satisfaction. I prefer almost always D800E except in some cases where I need most risoluzione.Non particularly suitable for shooting sports because of the not excellent af. Overall a very good machine |

sent on February 17, 2016 Pros: dynamic range, raw workable, ergonomics, resolution, construction, used cost Cons: No. points af, af precision points "lateral", dirt on the sensor Opinion: A year ago I was undecided whether to go with the old Fx D700 or the D600. After long and careful consideration I opted for the D600 focusing on image and sensor quality, especially by sacrificing the fund af. Coming from a D300 admit to have suffered from the lack of af points but now I have got used to it though in some situations I still think the D300. Moreover, even if the box shutter is changed every 1000/2000 shots the sensor is dirty and I have to clean it to avoid each time to eliminate some stain / dot but I do not mind because I do it independently, spending little time. Apart from these minor glitches the car is fantastic, I thought it was much more fragile but it is not so, I used it for about an hour in the rain coupled Tropicalized perspective without ever protect her and have not problems, when they do after. The body will not be a brick as D300 / D700 but absolutely does not seem delicate and plasticky. Coming to the high point, the sensor is one spettacolo! I was accustomed to the ISO of a D80 and D300 which in the best case up to 1000/1600 I obtained the still usable file, here up to 3200 I used the files and with a fine and good workable! In addition, the 24 megapixel machine are very useful, allow to make good crop without losing quality in case of need, also RAW are very workable, the lights recovery is good while the shadows recovery is amazing! If you do not have a lot of money available to the D600 it is a best buy in used since there are practically new with 10 / 20,000 shots at about 800 Euros since their market price collapsed with production output in place of D610, however, identical machine. |
sent on February 09, 2016 Pros: good sensor (low noise, color depth, dynamic range), good speed, good autofocus, high quality (useful for crop or to mount optical dx), decent price, video (not as canon but passable), moderate weight, and tropicalization more. Cons: I can not find ..... my shutter was replaced I have not encountered any problems. perhaps shutter speed 1/4000 but for me is not a problem. good autofocus coverage for dx poor for fx but for me is not a problem. Opinion: is the first time that I express my opinion on a camera, it had never occurred to me to do it, I do not like to look bad. I've had many: d5000, D300S, d700, 5d, 5d mk2, 1ds, 1d and others. maybe I had not yet found the right one. this is. But still I have it under observation. I'll know. Hello. |
sent on November 12, 2015 Pros: Quality image sensor, raw files, ergonomics, high ISO performance, price. Cons: Buffer saving and displaying images a bit slow, dirt on the sensor, 30 fps at 1080p, tropicalizzazione.AF Opinion: I have this camera for almost two years with whom I really took thousands of photos. The camera despite not fully tropicalized by the feel of a well-made and sturdy and dials are intuitive and are in their right places. The yield of the developed images in Camera Raw and Photoshop is really fantastic, the shadows are recovered without problems and graphics are very clean. The 24 MPs are sufficient for most uses that it can do, and prints up to 50x70 (obviously on quality paper) are practically perfect, in excess of this size do not know. The yield at high ISO is fantastic, up to 3200 ISO there is virtually noise and also in 6400 that the files are no longer usable, detailed and with little noise; also great for long exposure with the NR switched to high ISO and long exposure. The color depth and dynamic range are fantastic and very close to the eye than the sisters maggiori.rnI movies they're fine but the 30fps 1080p sometimes have a limit to ripmade '' art '' that require slow motion. The af in critical situations is a little hesitant. When we take in raw different images, one after the buffer crashed some requiring the display of them waiting for a few seconds. The biggest minus, still one of the few, is dirt on the sensor: it gets dirty really easily and also after cleaning several times and have changed the shutter via Nikon dirt re-accumulates thus making slower and especially tedious postproduction . This last feature is actually to take account for the purchase of a car usata.rnGeneralmente, finally, it is a great machine, in all and for all, the files that churns are approximately 25mb therefore very lightweight in the range 800. From a lot of satisfaction and apart from the problem of dirt on the sensor believe a camera almost excellent. |
user61502 ![]() ![]() | sent on January 20, 2015 Pros: FF, excellent stability at high ISO, light, very crisp sensor. It is replaced with shutter and with very few shots at affordable digits (850.00 E). Ability to use optical Ai - AiS Cons: Yet I found none. Opinion: Excellent FF human price. Excellent with good optical clarity. Return of very good colors (those looking for "technicolor" buy another). File of the right size and quality. I use it for portraits, landscapes, macro, food, ceremonies and it has never disappointed me. Dirt on the sensor out. The resolution of the sensor is only slightly less than the D750. Held at high ISO to scream (ISO 6400 usabilissimi). If you find one in good condition buy it: it will give you great satisfaction. Recommended! |
sent on September 20, 2014 Pros: FF, image quality Cons: AF points in the center, limitations in movies Opinion: 26egrave; practically the D600 with the shutter again, the value of D600 fell more than its real value. |
sent on July 14, 2014 Pros: Resolution, light during the day especially in the mountains Cons: AF points enclosed in the center of the viewfinder Opinion: Socket used with 3900 shots at 850 Euros file produces beautiful, I have not encountered any problems after about 1000 shots. The photo makes the colors of the landscape, often with the use of AIS-AI lenses Fantastic. Coming from the D90 and D300S appreciate the FX sensor for the quality of the oven. I am satisfied with this car because I have been lucky with the sensor. |
sent on July 13, 2014 Pros: Image quality, usable ISO up to 12800, with perfect ergonomics ... BG mounted dual-slot and dual battery autonomy provided; functions and complete control. Fast, responsive autofocus. Crop to 10mp. Cons: Slow saving files with fast memory buffer 600x ... limited to 3 bursts, it could "spread" better AF points. A little speck of dust too. Opinion: Purchased in January 2013 ... almost 10 thousand shots made ... excellent upgrade coming from D90. Sensor of the latest generation exploitable in every situation. Photo Recovery "wrong" thanks to the extended dynamic range. ISO range of spectacular at the level of D4 ... exploitable shots up to ISO 12800 if well exposed. Ability to crop DX 10.2 MP ... great in birdlife. By contrast AF system ... very good and responsive but with little coverage could be extended ... "spread" a little better. Despite having a model "healthy" ... with frequent changes and the use of optical zoom ... specks of dust always lurking. Problem solved with the prior spompettata before each shooting session. Price Nital disproportionate purchased ... only because I took advantage of the promotion with the SB700 flash as a gift. Full HD movies and good autofocus permanent ... but room for improvement. Slowness of rescue. NEF with Lexar x600 ... only 15 shots ... then 3 consecutive bursts. Overall satisfied. |
sent on June 11, 2014 Pros: Resolution of the stellar sensor. Lightweight, quiet for being a FF DSLR. Good behavior at high ISO. Nikon ecosystem. Cons: Points focus but many plants. Lack 1/8000. Opinion: Coming from a D300 I got it used at a reasonable price and I immediately felt at home. Ergonomically "falls" in his hand as if it had always been. The information in the viewfinder are easy to find and you need not take my eyes off. The sensor is spectacular, at the moment I do not want anything more. A strong crop highlights the flaws of the optics, but just look at the shot in his right cut and everything disappears. Regge very good high ISO compared to the previous generation. The system of focus, quickly and accurately, is its most obvious flaw. By concentrating sensors in the center forces you to break the recovery in the two actions, focus and composition, distinct. People used to work in A, feels the lack of 1/8000 but maybe at that point we would speak of a machine to the other end of the market. There really is everything and more than you could wish for the advanced amateur. Do not forget that the ecosystem Nikon, thanks to the strategic choices made in the past allows you to find a number of objectives esagerata of all prices. |
sent on April 24, 2013 Pros: Ergonomics, Weight, FF Sensor Mode, U1 and U2, video quality, made at high ISO, sharpness, AF accuracy even in backlight, dual slot. Cons: Amateur camera body, AF area too clustered at the center of the viewfinder, viewfinder coverage to 95%, compressed RAW file but a bit 'heavy, A light Purple Fringing noticed backlit with a Croop 400%. Opinion: I state that the defects listed are the classic nit. RnPEr the rest I have this machine for 2 months, before I had a d300s, I deviso to sell because I do not do more sports photos, and having only ottice for FF, the d600 I seemed a fair upgrade, as the d800 has a file far too opulent for my esigenze.rnLa first thing that catches the eye is the light weight, the casing of the machine while retaining the classic robustness nikon, weighs much less than my old Nikon; the menu has remained unchanged and you're familiar with the machines pro and semipro will have no difficulty in reimpsotare the machine with their own impostazioni.rnEffettuati the first test shots, I notice that while the d300s with the upper limit of the ISO sensitivity of 1600 was, with this you work with confidence to 3200 and in case of necessity, even in 6400 you can not get a great file.rnL 'area of ??focus is perhaps too small, contrived is the same as the d7000 which is a DX, but honestly I have neverused a point of focus other than the central and the thing did not bother me more than tanto.rnLe photo, c ome in all the latest Nikon, tend to have a predominant greenish, which is easy to eliminate as descitto in other opinions. rnIl shooting menu, selector switch quickly u1 and u2, will be appreciated by those who spend between 2 types of photos frequently (eg landscape and portrait), the resolution of 24 megapixxel can work well in all areas, if amche honestly, now that you work on the web, who bisongio more than 10 megapixels? So even lovers Croop more stringent potrenno have fun! RnHo read on various forums, national and not the problems of dust on the sensor, my car does not have these defects, I had a hand in the other, and the latter has not given problems polvere.rnrnPer me it is a great product, versatile, lightweight, and if we want to understand how many econimico.rnNon (but there are a few) complain of the sensor and the yield at low ISO and very bright with optics. I blinded to stress it with pictures of leaves alberate against the light, with different optics (from 70-200 f2.8, 50 f.18, going to the 24-70 f2.8, the 105 macro) the only flaw Looking for the nit I noticed a slight Legero Purple Fringing noticed backlit with a 400% Croop, nothing serious, and above all it is known ONLY with extreme magnification and is so small (something like a diagonal of 2 pixels) sincerely believe that he had also the "old" but d300s I do not think I've ever notato.rnrnIn conclusion that those who have had major problems with this machine has been unfortunate, and I also believe that those who came from professional machine, have the wrong product: if you have a d3 and want to find the same quality and strength, and a new sensor, better to turn to a d4 or a Canon 5D Mark 3.rn |
sent on April 17, 2013 Pros: built-in flash that can be used as a commander ... resistant to dust and water. Cons: WB, slow processor, storage on sd, too obvious noise even at low ISO. Opinion: I'm probably the error but each to their own impressions right or wrong then someone more competent judge, in my opinion, too many defects you really okay that FF is an entry level but it seems to me anyway nn costs so little to able to say, oh well you claim? rnSono been 6 years since the release of the D3 and D700, nice cars nothing to say, then the Nikonist satisfied nn wait to see how things have evolved reading right and left you can see direct comparisons of this machine with the Canon 5D mkIII from which comes out the winner, all the evidence sensor test say it's terrific, then buy it and you realize that it really threw the money and I'll regret an old d700 for nn to mention the incomparable D3 . This machine has a noticeable noise in the shadows even at low ISO, the transitions between lit areas and shaded areas are to get your hands in your hair, paradoxically increasing the ISO and having more improved grain seem to see this problem (AMAZING). I say from experience, and n hearsay, the sensor works veramente evil using optical light type 85 1.4g nn takes pictures of aa full aperture must be even close to a couple of stops for the aberrations of any kind are less obvious (OPTICAL THE SAME CAR ON OTHER DAMAGES NN the slightest PROBLEM), and I confirm that nn is the sensor works so giusto.Passando autofocus, belonging to the well-known fact that the points of focus are clustered in the center too, I would say that almost makes losing patience with little lighting (mind nn in the dark or in extreme conditions) nn focuses even if you could, I say yes, but there is light af and here's another thing truly inconceivable the machine sometimes snaps before turning off the light af, resulting in a beautiful light that point to the end is always original (REINCREDIBILE), however if you use the flash drive from the commander light af nn maybe this is I have yet to figure it out io.rnIl white balance is impressive nn nn guesses there's nothing to take pictures all go retouched in post production even preset values ??are reliability standards nnli.Insomma what to say in conclusion |
sent on April 15, 2013 Pros: Practically all: dynamic range, high ISO resistance, two possibilities for the WB, Double SD slot, top and back of magnesium alloy, burst, tropicalization! Cons: Dirt on the sensor after about 800 shots ... it was necessary to send it in for service (solved) Opinion: Dynamic range and recovery of the shadows really outstanding! Resistance to other ISO above the norm! RNLA camera you go to enter within a range between a D7100 and D800, and we must say it is a good middle ground. The grip is not bad for me that I have big hands, especially with the battery grip! RnDopo covered by warranty for cleaning the sensor, now everything seems back in normalità.rnDevo say that this camera really impressed me, I made prints on canvas 120x80 with a high definition ... I have to say that they make a great scene in the living room! |
sent on January 09, 2013 Pros: Pontentissimo sensor, buttons, almost perfect, light, rendered at high iso D4, handling, NEF high, double SD slot Cons: Hard to find .... maybe .... the menu too divided, and the autofocus points grouped in the center of the viewfinder Opinion: I come from a D300S and the transition to d600 has been highlighted the fantastic sensations: light (you can carry it all day and I miss you miss it!), File quality and impressive performance at high ISO like a D4! RNLA strength of D600 revolves around its FX sensor really full-bodied in dynamic range and quality of the files it generates. The raw files can be recovered easily 4 stop making useless double exposures in the photos paesaggistiche.rnrnHo tried to push to ISO 6400 and the noise you get to see, but be assured that below this threshold is imperceptible! With the D300S could not exceed 1000 iso and if I tried to over-expose as much of a raw pixels were splitting! With the D600 is quite feasible! rnQuoto who said to be a cave use in automatic (I think it's just a gimmick than Nikon). rnrnLa lightness makes it even more appealing, you can forget the weight of some higher-end backs! RNE 'really the solution for those seeking maximum picture quality at an affordable price (with respect to a D4/d800). rnrn |
sent on January 03, 2013 Pros: Compact, economical, high performance, excellent viewfinder, no noise at high ISO, the ability to have many professional features in a camera body top of the line is not too expensive. Cons: 1) SPOTS ON SENSOR: in the early models, and unfortunately it happened to me, the sensor becomes dirty with dust or oil very easily, unfortunately spots visible on the image. Then solved in manutenzione.rn2) White Balance to green (not a problem ... just adjust it manually from the machine or in post-production). RN3) Absence of the shutter speed 1/8000 (not a tragedy ... 1 / 4000 is more than enough). 4) Points autofocus too central, but a real photographer you should not complain about this little against hihihi XDrn Opinion: 7 was defined as the entry-level for the full frame. Allow me to criticize this statement. It 'a car from € 2000, is by no means an entry-level. It has many automatic settings for those who does not understand photography, but I think it is a mistake crazy to spend € 2,000 to buy a car to use in AUTOMATIC ... I think a beginner using an automatic means to exploit D600 only 20% of its full potential. It 's like buying a Ferrari and only use it to go shopping in the city: P. Hence it is advisable for people who have at least a minimum of theoretical knowledge and practical use of reflex. Per a machine that level, I felt it rational not to buy the 24-85 (since dim), but make a small sacrifice more to buy an objective and professional light, choose the 24-70 f / 2,8 Tamron's (really great and especially economic ... and is the only sector with a stabilizer, unlike the nikkor and sigma). rnrnrnHo found it verynice handle, the fantastic high-definition screen, the location of the keys. Maybe I expected a little more for the duration of batteria.rnrnL 'I found it ideal for my case, since I am a student of engineering and therefore time photographer free (for work). Buy a D800 or a D4 would be impossible for my pockets. The D600 is perfect because I can finally use a full frame at reasonable prices. |
sent on November 24, 2012 Pros: Lightness, maneuverability, dynamic range and performance at high ISO Cons: Oversaturated colors, dark viewfinder, AF coverage area, marked OLPF Opinion: The body is a bit 'giocattoloso but the heart of the machine makes it a perfect reflex passeggio.rnLa range and detail at high iso is well above the d700, d800 also very similar to what is missing at the level of fine detail. rnProvata from 6400 ISO up to results up to the name that you are creating this small full frame. rnPurtroppo colors are Nikon medium-low. rnMentre d300/d700/d3 and follow d800/d4 have a neutral rendering with faithful colors, the d600 tends to saturate the colors too, cutting the legs at the time of development. RNLA color rendition is very similar to that of d7000 with saturated colors, vibrant and high contrast already in the raw. rnStessa made on the jpg, but the finished product with excellent sharpness and un'qualità final. rnNel complex produces files much more responsive sisters pro, but for this very neutral and less manageable. rnPer comparison, the raw open the d800/d4 seem "dull" when compared with those of d600.rnIn practice, the negative note, for those accustomed to d800/d700/ D3 is the complexion. It 'way too saturated and lose gradations of color is enough fastidioso.rnL' exposure proved absolutely perfect. The WB good despite what they say in rete.rnSull 'I can say that autofocus is fast and hooks up well. The coverage area AF can however be a problem. RNLA d600 machine is really interesting for anyone who wants to go around doing street / landscapes / portraits with a microscopic body, light and sound without sacrificing the charm and benefits of full frame. rnMi feel sconsigliarla hand to anyone in the photography work (either the first or the second, like me) because it would clash with the limited software, hardware and performance. rn |
sent on November 02, 2012 Pros: FX viewfinder very large sensor exceptional grain at high ISO uniform, ability to use Nikon AF lenses do not, feeling "Made in Japan" Cons: Autofocus points grouped in the center of the viewfinder, white balance, sensor checked before sale. Opinion: Two premises: rnpropritario a D600 from 30 September; rnprovengo a D80 ... rn is another machine. Compared to this the size and weight are similar, the D600 is just bigger, but the weight does not seem different. The handle is then immediately familiar, but as soon as I put the eye in the viewfinder ... Open up the sky: it is a comfort that comes from anyone who will try DX. rnPiù a review, I want to give a critical opinion on the machine! Sufficiently extol the virtues of the various press offices and anyone who spends a certain amount for a hobby or a profession, is already informato.rnIl my problem was just the white balance that turns very green, when you are not on automatic programs but operates in manual, aperture and property. You can edit and find the right balance, because what I thought was normal on the monitor of the machine, was magenta on your computer (I obviously exaggerated in corrections). Today I set the default B2M1 (correction Blue2, magenta1). RNLA second surprise was the black spots on the sensor, small stains, No visible to the naked eye, but in mind and then purchase the proper material, and cleaning of the sensor (i do not wanna advertising for a brand, but I was fine with the D80 is that with the D600), then it is a time to "cuddle" with their macchina.rnTerzo point are the points of focus (many, 39, maybe too many ), but all distributed in the central area, if a photographer uses the DX format would be just fine, but FX is a large floor area not covered: then after the focus on off-center subjects, you must redo the shot . Note, for lovers of file lighter, the machine provides the option of a shot low (DX format) with the objectives FX (are 12MP, 30MP against storage ...). RnInfine see the advantages .... There are countless ... The main, 14-bit, shooting at 6400 ISO that make blush the 800 D80, range colorimetricmuch more natural, very driven customizations for landscapes, portraits and situations particolari.rnIl instruction book is 340 pages. about, although having a Nikon I had read in many places and often I riguardare.rnPer full use of the machine, each owner must become familiar for a period shorter or longer (maybe this is the user option 1 and 2) . rnNon is an entry level machine (2k euro nn are entry level). This is a huge step forward for those who have a body "dated" (as I believe it has). Finally nn giriamoci around: rnPer take pictures in order of importance it takes a good eye, a good goal, and then a good body .... rnBuona light to all rnrnP.S: after 2 months to update the review as regards the stains: seem to have disappeared. After about 1700 shots I did the second sensor cleaning and after 2500 I did the third. But in the latter there were no oil stains. Hopefully it is in fact so. Otherwise I will certainly aggiornarvi.rnBuona lightall. |
