sent on May 15, 2021 Pros: Light, crisp, bokeh, MF, price! Cons: A little exaggerated contrast Opinion: An excellent 35 no frills, given its lightness and a joy to go around there... I took it after trying it by chance on the advice of the owner of the Nikon store in Manchester... it has a wonderful yield and I rediscovered the beauty of making street with the fixed... move to create the right shot and another way of photographing...fights on par with 35 much more expensive and heavy... on the other side and very contrasted but nothing dramatic... just set the neutral mode on the camera and the problem is solved... I highly recommend this lens if you are looking for a 35 with little talk but many facts... good light at all! |
sent on January 19, 2021 Pros: Light, crisp, and with a great bokeh. Cons: AF not particularly suitable for video Opinion: At the moment it's my absolute favorite optics. Suitable for both portraiture and street photography. It also returns crazy shots on dated cameras. I recently switched to Nikon z50 and even now I do not separate, I always carry it in my backpack with me with the ftz adapter. Autofocus is a bit slow compared to z optics so I don't use it for videos. It is a lens to have absolutely. The cost for what from is good compared to the competition. |
sent on June 04, 2020 Pros: Brightness Cons: Excess contrast/detail Opinion: Definitely an excellent lens, light, bright, precise. The AF is fast and responds promptly to the stresses. Its downsides actually stick more to the world of taste than to flaws in and of itself: for the final yield I love the objectives of the D series that - certainly less detailed and ultra-contrastated - give a different image pleasantness, softer and close to reality. This lens is sharp especially from 5.6 up but the contrast so sharp, the details so meticulous, the shadows so sharp, give the whole a feeling of great accuracy but little feeling. But these are personal tastes precisely that do not affect the excellent judgment on the technical side. |
sent on January 18, 2020 Pros: Lightness, minimum maf distance, sharpness, bokeh. Cons: Nobody Opinion: I do not understand why on the network there are very few reviews on this lens, as if it had been snubbed. It's perfect: lightweight, fairly small, sharp, fast and precise, 58mm filters. The blur is pleasant, maybe if it had had 9 slats it would have been the icing on the cake to slightly soften the out of focus, but that's fine. Nothing more to add, a little gem. Use it on D600. |
sent on December 09, 2019 Pros: Sharpness, price, light and great brightness Cons: Absolutely nothing. Opinion: I bought this lens months ago while I was in Livigno (yes! I bought something less than other stores) and since that day I have not removed it from my entry level Nikon D5600. Bright lens and wonderful sharpness that I use mainly for portrait photos. Absolutely to have at least once in your Nikon kit. |
sent on March 28, 2019 Pros: Sharpness, price, compactness. Cons: No tropicalization. Opinion: Having had problems with the Sigma 35 even after various calibrations with Dok, I decided to try the Nikon always 1.4. Maybe I'm unlucky with this kind of focal? Although the copy I tried is used but well kept, the lens hood is slow and can easily unhook, but what I left of putty is the aberration, so much but a lot. Then at full aperture soft images compared to Sigma. In the end I tried the Nikon AFS G 1.8. It will be pure plastic but it is gorgeous, crisp at full aperture, light, a bit ' aberration but correctable the CR thing with the 1.4 I could not. I would like to know from Nikon the why of the price so high for 1.4. Only regret is that the sigma I liked sin for the AF. However, Straconsiglio this optics, no mistake a shot, the only flaw is the blurry not like the sigma but approaching and so, given its lightness makes you want to turn for photographic street. |
sent on September 24, 2018 Pros: Sharp already at f 1.8, weight/size, super sharp from F2. 8, excellent value for money (especially in used), Stella on the beautiful light points from F5 fantastic to F16, excellent resistance to flare. Cons: Fuzzy ugly, some dust comes in. Opinion: An excellent optics at a competitive price, very clear and versatile and light. Only flaws that I can find is a blur harder than the rival Sigma Art and chromatic aberrations a bit annoying (difficult to solve in PP). Some micro grain of internal dust inconsequential in the photos but annoying to see especially in a fixed. Closed from F 5.6 to F11 has an excellent resolve (it's the sharpest lens I've tried even better than the Sigma 150 OS). Star on the beautiful light spots in the landscapes at dusk. Excellent flare resistance without losing contrast (looks like a N series) on the used one located on the 300euro... Recommended! |
sent on September 24, 2018 Pros: Sharpness already at 1.8, AF accurate, bright Cons: For me nothing important maybe a little price, but it's worth them all. Opinion: What about, I just took this little gem replacing it at 35 F2D, I did not expect this quality, sharp already at the maximum opening and closing becomes a blade, photographic features like the classics of the G series, crisp in the colors and I find it blurred very Nice. The construction is plasticose, but sturdy and well made. |
sent on August 28, 2018 Pros: Sharpness, weight, excellent AF, brightness Cons: Construction a little plasticose, absence of tropicalization Opinion: I bought this lens 2 months ago skeptical but intrigued, and it's over that I'm in love with it! Now I hardly put it away, only when I need a handyman zoom. Bright with exceptional sharpness, it is light with good yield already to TA, and that gives excellent results already to f/2.2! The Autofocus is very fast and silent, hoping that it continues to be still with the use. It lacks the tropicalization and also the stabilization, the latter poorly necessary given the short focal length of the lens (1/40 would be the safety time, however too long time if you shoot on people or moving subjects). |
sent on July 19, 2017 Pros: Crisp, light, price Cons: nobody Opinion: Suitable focal points in every situation and lightness make this my favorite target. The aperture at 1.8 allows shooting with low light and gives a great blur. The deformation is minimal when compared to the digital correction in LR. I use the D810 and the pictures are very sharp. The shape of the hood is correct to avoid undesired reflections. |
sent on April 23, 2017 Pros: Sharpness, focus fast, perfect AF, Cons: Anything Opinion: What a truly perfect lens, 1.8 are seen and how, razor sharp, no distortion, fixed lens 35 mm with the price that it costs, I will Photographer all, you can find little used price, if the mountain is not the most fancy disassemble, great pics for what it costs for the new sailing advice 100x100, super recommended for the price and weight. |
sent on March 25, 2017 Pros: Sharpness, AF, price Cons: The usual economic G "series" Opinion: What about .... is Nikkor is series G is 1.8 ..... The mountains and not take it off anymore. Sharp also to 1.8, a few aberrations or void, absent distortion .... Forget the AF-D ... The defect is the usual plasticosità and softness of the ring that unites this series of fixed ... I recommend to all to approach the 35mm focal length in the fundamental picture ... Then if they want to move to the Sigma Art can do that but I think that as a walking lens no longer spring ... |
sent on November 23, 2016 Pros: sharpness, quality / price ratio Cons: construction of the barrel Opinion: From here it start and it "remains." The first fixed after a kit lens on APS-C, a must to have that you can use to find you buy it with a small investment and makes you enter another dimension. Just purchased should be installed and left on for a long time machine, to understand and begin to leverage the capabilities. There is better on the market of course, but you have to pull out more mooooolti euro. I feel can not be separated from buying even if one loves handyman zoom should always have in your bag this little toy, light and unobtrusive. |
sent on September 01, 2016 Pros: Sharpness, af speed, low noise, light weight, the presence of the hood. Cons: Nobody. Opinion: I put no defect because, even if the material used for the construction of the barrel, it may seem poor as plasticky-looking, people like me who comes from the "old analog photography" will find peace on the use of new materials plastici.rnPremesso I find this superlative this perspective for the use of all kinds. I find it very suitable for the environmental portrait and not thanks to the great focal openness that makes it a really nice bokeh. In addition I believe that 35 mm return a much more similar view to the one we perceive with both occhi.rnConcludendo definitely recommend this respect. |
sent on August 03, 2016 Pros: lightweight compact put sharpness of focus Cons: nobody Opinion: no problem in focusing, precise rapid. razor-sharp photos, excellent even at 1.8 in my opinion, despite the slight smudge on the sides, as the price inevitabili.ottimo quality, do everything that can be of course very useful in low light, moving subjects and photos street.consigliato 100% . in anticipation of a future purchase of FF maybe I would opt for the classic 50, but if you want to keep the compact sensor is fine. |
sent on December 18, 2015 Pros: Pretty neat, lightweight, compact, precise AF, good value for money. Cons: plasticky construction Opinion: I waited about a year to review quest'ottica.È been tested by me on go fronts and I have to admit that for what it costs to be more than bene.A TA does not make me crazy but it becomes good to F / 2.2 to become loooong good F / 5.6.rnUtilizzato also for infrared photos with hoya 720, none of hotspot phenomenon, but I highly recommend you cover the hole where they are given the distances of the focus. |
sent on October 17, 2015 Pros: Excellent sharpness, af flawless, compact and lightweight. Cons: The build quality is that of all the consumer Nikkor series: well done, but it is not a tank. Opinion: I took a few days and I'm already in love. The sharpness is very good already in TA, but 2.8 and onwards which gives its best: it becomes sharp and has little or nothing to envy to blasonatissimo Sigma 35 1.4 Art. The f is well-made as per tradition nikkor blur and is pleasing. The only thing that may turn up their noses is the construction of polycarbonate, but to the benefit of its weight and dimensions. Mounted on the D3300 that I use as a second body, I have the sharpest tool in one of just 700 grams total ... Fantastic !!! |
sent on October 04, 2015 Pros: - Nitidissimorn- lightweight and compact enough Cons: - Construction plasticky (like all G also) Opinion: And 'undoubtedly one of the best optics of my kit, ideal to accompany all'85mm / 1.8 G.rnLeggo around which would have any blurred rough, I think is pretty good. I also have the 28mm / 1.8 G and 50mm / 1.4 G, as focus are slightly better (but only slightly), however this is more than the 35mm as sharpness, this gift, in my opinion, is fondamentale.rn |
sent on July 17, 2015 Pros: High quality even at TA, good focus, versatility, weight. Cons: MAF ring and slight plasticky Opinion: I have this light for about a year and after scoring a few set, indoor sports and some landscapes I must say that is perhaps my most optical utilizzata.rnQualità overall image (distortion, resolution, vignetting, etc.) For the impeccable asking price, while quality of materials used a little 'less but the factor that I like least is the ring of MAF which is very light, it seems to turn to vuoto.rnOttimo quality / price ratio comunque.rnConsigliatissimo both DX on FF ! |
sent on September 22, 2014 Pros: light, crisp already in TA, af fast and accurate, compact, goes unnoticed, in the blurred light spots are really nice and round without "nested pores" Cons: Blurred a bit '"rough" than for example the sigma 35 1.4 Article Opinion: In my opinion the plastic outer construction is not a major flaw, the optics is very light and therefore does not require a magnesium frame to withstand the normal sollecitaizoni due to the use, the plastic is of high quality and very solid, the baioentta is steel inox.rnrnLa quality is really good already wide open even on very dense sensors yield is excellent, compared the performance of the sigma Art in blurred lights is better (shot more rounds with less chromatic aberration) but the fuzzy is less soft. rnHo preferred to the nikon sigma especially for the huge difference in weight (Sigma weighs more than twice) and for the better autofocus, it is a perspective that I consider as reportage and then read out by light weight and excellent af for me are fundamental in a 35mm fixed. |
sent on September 03, 2014 Pros: excellent optical quality, easy to handle and lightweight Cons: as most of the G-series is solid, but built with materials very different from those used at one time. Lacks the aperture ring. Opinion: Although this lens is in my opinion a true champion in terms of optical performance, always superlative in every respect, including the yield of the focus and tightness in the backlight. It is also lightweight and easy to handle so that you gladly use not only in the reportage in the city, but also in the long hikes in the mountains. The yield at the center is also excellent at f: 1.8. The materials used for construction can turn up their noses, being far removed from what, eg., Homologous zeiss zf, but then the price and weight are benefited, while the optical yield, as already said, remains excellent . Hifi inescapable for those who love fixed lenses and focal length 35mm (and has no absolute need aperture f 1.4). |
user47049 ![]() ![]() | sent on June 13, 2014 Pros: versatility; quality and blurred; lightweight and compact Cons: no significant defect Opinion: My opinion of this view is positive: he made a very nice picture, is already clear from f1.8, with saturated colors and good contrast. Deforms very little. The auto focus is precise. I like the blurred, although the review of this aspect is very subjective. To my expectations and the kind of photo that shot is a good goal: solves my needs. I can not find significant defects; despite the cost of the new, also the value for money all in all it is reasonable, given the quality of the lens that I consider very good. |
