Pros: Lightness, sharpness, blurry is price.

Cons: Non-flawless autofocus and plastic construction.

Opinion: For what it costs it is a must have! Excellent sharpness and pleasant blurry. When you stick it to the machine you struggle to detach it because it gives quality. It is very light and not very bulky. A lens that should not be missing in a Nikon kit. Of course there is now the new version but if you want to save something in the used market this is a valid alternative.

Pros: Small - Lightweight - Compact - Crisp at all openings

Cons: For what it costs no one

Opinion: I have always had this goal: first on analog reflex now on digital FF (D600) and Mirrorl. (Fuji XE3). Never a disappointment. Well balanced colors and excellent sharpness to all diaphragms. On mirrol. it becomes a 75mm1.8 that I use for still life and other works and very little for portraits where I prefer the 85mm1.8. Light and versatile is the optics to take on travel, where you want to stay light without sacrificing quality. Fun and built optics like all AFds: glass and plastic. Price with packaging and conditions as new around 90.00 Euros. Well spent in my opinion... then you do it yourself.

Pros: crisp, light, pastel colors, bokeh

Cons: Plastic

Opinion: it's a beautiful lens, light and crisp. it's the 50th that you can take around and take a few portraits on the classic weekend. af is faster than the g series so it's better. Tests say it's sharper than 50 1.4 d especially in the middle. compared to the g series it has the most pastel and dreamy colors, vintage, with a personality. The g series has the sharp and sharp colors and contours that make you dream less and make the shot colder and blander. this 1.8 d instead makes you dream.... the focus ring is a bit small but I often use af. Also I can use this unlike the g series also on the 90s analog SLRs when I want to make some film :=) in particular I have a nikon4001s from 1989 and if I want to shoot a portrait of a film pussy I will mount this lens and I also have the af! go as a beast!! Excellent sharpness from f2 onwards.

Pros: very light, robust despite the plastic, very sharp after f2, blurry pleasant, costs almost nothing

Cons: unusable in the future (it has no engine af) so get rid of it as long as you can, the water and moisture enter like a sponge

Opinion: for me in 2020 don't buy it. it is difficult to give an opinion on an optics like this, which has been the school of millions of photographers in the last 40-50 years. impossible not to have it at least once in a lifetime. is it worth it? I don't think so. brother 1.4 is very little bigger and costs very little more but I liked it much more. version 1.4 is much sharper after f2 and has a better blurr. so between 50 euros for 1.8 and 150 for 1.4 for me there is no doubt. better 1.4 if you can. both of these optics are outclassed in all respects by the new afs versions NOTE WELL: these optics have no internal motor and nikon seems to be abandoning this old technology. so there will probably be no more machine bodies supporting them in the future. NOTE 2 the effects of these optics in my experience are very imprecise. even spending hours with the fine adjustment I have never been able to make them precise on the d800 ultimately are optics for vintage lovers or to start by spending very little. but in any case I do not recommend them and recommend the 50 1.8 afs

Pros: Cost, size, yield

Cons: Unsealed lampshed, f1.8 aberrations, sensations that provides the ring for manual focus.

Opinion: Valid goal, even the construction as long as plastic I find it more than good, apart from the feeling that returns the focus ring. I use it with a d7500 and find the automatic focus precise and without hesitation. With extremely lateral light on some photos appeared the reflection of the knurling that we find inside so I decided to get the lampshh. I find the yield very good, especially closing it to f2/2.2. For 90€ difficult to find better.

Pros: Compact, portability, sharpness

Cons: Noisy, build quality

Opinion: Goal to have. With just over 100 euros you take home a lens with character, which returns a good yield to the shots. Certainly the construction quality is not the best, which is acceptable if you look at the price, but the convenience of use will not make you regret its possession. Excellent compromise for newbies and beyond.

Pros: All

Cons: Nothing if bought at the right price

Opinion: Better than him he can only do the big brother 50mm 1.8 G AF-S of which I did a review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IbAzj9u5P0 This is small, cheap, portable to the maximum, sharp. Many people talk about the external material but I think it's perfect so and you've never seen one broken! So the important thing is how the photos do it! Rating 10, better if bought used.

Pros: Price, Weight, Size, Blurred

Cons: At its price nothing, but if we really have to, it struggles a little to focus from afar at full opening.

Opinion: At the price at which it is sold is the perfect goal, especially for newbies, the weight and clutter are embarrassing in a good way, it is quietly in your pocket, the files are very good, I used it years ago especially on DX and I have to say that it satisfied me fully. There are no big flaws, of course if we compare it with the 1.4g, the 50 Art or the 50 (equivalent) Fuji there are no comparisons in terms of focus and beauty of colors, but here we are talking about a lens sold for a hundred euros new on Amazon.

Pros: Materials, sharpness, price

Cons: Perhaps compared to the new generations the speed and noiselessness of the focus

Opinion: Excellent lens of great sharpness, especially when compared to the ridiculous figure to which it is for sale, a fortiori if used. In many situations it has proved to be a very good goal. The metal construction then from that sense of quality, solidity and vintage at the same time that do not spoil for this kind of product. I would Definitely re-buy it!

Pros: Compactness

Cons: Made of plastic, hard diaphragms, enough sharpness in the analogue field. In a decidedly poor digital environment

Opinion: It's a mediocre lens like all the 50mm built by Nikon. Unsuitable for digital use. Umpteenth version Paccottiglia. If a 50 mm is needed, go to other manufacturers, such as Sigma Art. The Lens shows games between the lenses, a noticeable leap back from the Ai and Ai-S, which at least were iron and the aperture was as precise as a clock. Here we find an excessive use of plastic and I would not wonder that even the lenses are. Focus does not specify and needs calibration with the machine. It Costs little but it is worth very little

Pros: Super Compact, sharpness, very light, aperture ring

Cons: Construction/materials, non-motorized

Opinion: After owning for almost a year the Yongnuo 50 today I have in the kit this optics and I could give you an idea of what the differences are. There are already many reviews on this lens that say everything and more, so I thought I would post more than anything else a comparison with the China version immediately with the prices (however low), the Yongnuo you could find it even at €70 New! The Nikon used becomes difficult to find it at less than €80. Construction: Externally so-so, I would say a dead heat if not even... Yong, for the quality of the lenses probably Nikon. AF: Yongnuo is motorized, Nikon No, they are still both fast Size: This type of lens is compact and light by nature.... There is little to add Blurry: The Nikon is really "important" and maybe even a little difficult to size exactly what you want, but maybe that is what you wish.. Bokeh Effect: Step up with the blur of course, so Nikon wins but Yongnuo is not at all to underestimate Brightness: excellent in Nikon, very good for Yongnuo, but depends very much on the situation, the decrease in brightness seems to me that Nikon is better Sharpness: Almost draw a good point in favor (for me) This model is the aperture ring that might be fine for some "alternative" photos like no-contact extensions, reversing rings and similar things. I hope this review can be helpful

Pros: Price, construction, color rendering, already TA sharpness, bokeh, starry

Cons: Flare

Opinion: Lens had for a while on Nikon D80, similar to the 50 1.4 D as yield, excellent sharpness already in TA in the center but with AC, perfect for 2.5, only sins for a more fuzzy blurred and flare backlight; Made less contrasting and colors more shepherds than the G-series, much better the starry (also of 50 1.4 D); As far as it costs great lens to consider for portrait on APS-C (American cut) or how it all do on FF to start.

Pros: Light, compact, very good value for money

Cons: Soft to TA, quality construction, blurry hard, automatic MAF only for cameras with AF motor

Opinion: Undoubtedly, the Nikkor af-S 50mm G is better across the board than the old "D": sharpness already at TA, anti reflex treatment, internal af (precise and quiet), blurred softer, anti-dust rubber on the bayonet. Yet, perhaps because of the compactness, perhaps due to the presence of the aperture ring, perhaps for the chromatic rendering, for the blurry hard and nervous but characteristic, the old "D" has a fascination and a vintage yield (perhaps also because the design of the optical diagram goes back to The late 1970s). And even if TA is not sharpest, after 2.8 becomes very incisive, perhaps even more than the "G". It also has no distortion. In short, for the price at which you can find it for sale, is nothing short of convenient.

Pros: small and cheap (if used)

Cons: production quality

Opinion: A marked lack of clarity and contrast to the more open diaphragms that eventually made me fall out of love. Purchased new, already using it on film showed a quality objectively low if not closing it abundantly, which made it virtually unusable in low light conditions. In the end, I sent it for repair but returned practically unchanged (except that the nebulosity of the images was due to an accident). When digital arrived, things even got worse. The images were so nebulous that we used it with a D800 for some video shots to 'effect' with a very pronounced blur of the background (as well as the subject -presented in focus-). I gave it to a friend cameraman who uses it only because of its out-of-focus effect. Given the numerous rave reviews, I can deduce that my copy was particularly unlucky. I have, however, some serious doubts about its capacity to yield on modern FF sensors. My advice is to try it seriously before using it on FF asthe D800 and later. Rated 7 due to poor production quality.

Pros: Sharpness (over f2.8) - Compact size

Cons: Sharpness (between f1.8 and f.2.2) - Chromatic aberrations

Opinion: I will go against the current, but personally I have not found that quality of image decanted (at least up to f2.8). In the range f1.8 - f2.2 it produces unclear images almost as if it seems that the MAF is wrong. The blur effect is to be excluded because I also tried with shots at 1/1000 - 1/1250 s with the same results.rnOther the f2.8 becomes very clear and resolute. But it remains that buying it you imagine you can use it with satisfaction even at T / A (which for me is not so) .rnIf you compare it to 35mm AF-S f1.8G, I can say that the latter behaves much better to diaphragms more open.rnWhether I had the opportunity to make it, for the low cost with which you can get it, I decided to keep it even if I'm not fully satisfied (for me it is a 50 mm f2.8). If it cost more I would certainly have returned it.

Pros: Opening, Price, Lightness, Shed, Defocused

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Absolutely unsurpassed value for money! The color rendition is very beautiful, it gives slightly warm colors, making it suitable for portraiture (not at all being a 50mm). Lightweight and lightweight, it easily enters a pocket. Sharpness is very good at TA, to become excellent af / 2.8. Distortion is virtually absent, as well as absolutely absent is chromatic aberration. TA vignetting is really very small and it is extremely easy to solve in PP (if you really want to be frown and take it off) .nn I have never felt the needle, for example, having the front lens back in 2-3 cm from the outer edge.

Pros: Sharpness, weight, chromatic rendering, size, optical quality, small filters so low cost, price

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Great lens on FF format, very nice chromatic rendering, good sharpness even at maximum aperture. Very compact optics comfortably enter the bag, I always carry it with me. The blur is very good, well suited for very light street trips or indoor photos. The very low price does according to me an optic absolutely to have in a kit. When used on APS-C sensors I find it very good for portraits too. Only small "against" the hood for sale as an accessory but for the moment do not feel the need.

Pros: Dimensions, price, sharpness, materials, weight, filter diameter, diaphragm opening

Cons: If I have to find one .... the lack of the fly (on D3100)

Opinion: Paid 80 € new, no defects can be found for this lens. It is very clear, the f / 1.8 aperture makes it usable for night photography, is very small and lightweight it is impossible to never carry it in your backpack.rn the only miss for The entry level bodies are the AF, absolutely not necessary.rnThe construction is great, the bayonet attachment is aluminum and the plastic barrel and the touch do not have any idea of ??toy, the ring of the fire is very fluid And accurate. The bokeh a 1.8 is awesome and does not lose too much sharpness to the most open diaphragms. I recommend to beginners and neophytes, but also to street-photography amateurs or semi-professionals, portraits and night photographers.

sent on July 20, 2017

Pros: Lightweight, precise, sharp, chromatic, economical, size, exquisite material, blurry, 52mm filters, chromatic aberrations contained.

Cons: No grommet on the bayonet, hood available separately in both plastic and metal.

Opinion: As for the pros, I would add no more. Suitable for my tastes, close street and portraits. With the addition of extension pipes there is a modest macro lens, but not comparable to a real macro objective. As for the counter, I was amazed at the lack of the bayonet and lumbar grommet available separately. We say it does not cost so much, considering the savings on the new lens, its price is around (15/20 euro) (metal version). I recommend buying. Voting 10.

Pros: Lightweight, precise, sharp and economical

Cons: "Plasticous" to the touch

Opinion: Wonderful lens of unique precision and sharpness. Its construction is solid even if it does not give the impression of a TOP lens, yet it gives incredible results especially when compared to price. Focusing guided by body machine is a bit noisy and not always fast but it is also a portrait lens mostly

Pros: Light, crisp, price, color and color rendering.

Cons: A bit 'plasticky, although personally comparing it to the price do not consider it a defect.

Opinion: It 'was the first goal, "" "" serious "" "" I've had and for months I never detached from the camera body. Sharpness spectacular even at maximum aperture, excellent focus. It is a lens that I use for portraits and street (risky, but behaves very well). Aesthetically it may seem fragile at first glance, but it's all he has to do and also resists quietly into large changes in temperature. I paid him approximately € 100 EUR, which is nothing compared to what it can offer this wonderful lens. Inside the absence of FA I do not consider a counter. If you want automatic fire just buy the G model instead of this. I use it exclusively on the right and I am really satisfied

Pros: Price, sharpness, brightness, fuzzy neutral, color rendering

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: First of all we highlight the cons ... no! I could not find against us no matter how reasoned out. I could say the materials it is made of plastic? No, because it is well executed. I could say the dimensions that make the manual focheggiatura difficult? No, it is wrong! It is true that the small size rear their hand but the dial is easy and precise focusing. Having to find the hairs do not know if my model took powder in a way unknown to me but every once in while focusing hand however it is extremely fluid but is very soft so you do not have a hard time putting the ring one millimeter dietro.rnrnI pros are obvious from the shots in this gallery dedicated. Light and easy, it allows you to make half-length portraits and the focal length of DX sensor it is not very long with its 75mm allowing you to have fun in other areas. The opening is a fabulous f1.8 which gave me lot of satisfaction in both portraits in natural photosistiche and of poor light conditions. I think I would never have brought home many shots had it not been for the resilience to 1600iso of D40 coupled to this sensor. I'd rather have a little 'grain that the flash fired on a subject and the shadows behind. In a portrait is really a bad scelta.rnLa color rendering is fabulous! I compared a lens Pentacon 50mm f1.8 produced by Carl Zeiss is this Nikon behaved better, had good color rendering, excellent sharpness and a beautiful complexion. I use it mainly for portraits and already at full aperture is crystal clear and gives a mild and mellow bokeh. The areas out of focus of the main subject are pleasant and neutral, ditto the light sources on the back that despite the sun 7 diaphragm blades are very soft. At f2.8 becomes a knife. It does not introduce distortions of any kind and always allows correct exposures to the machine body. rnrnForse I found a flaw: the focus AF .... if they had produced this lens with AF-S motor'd be even happier. Apparently the procast of new f1.8 AF-S50 is not comparable to this product. Mild sprains, minor aberrations and discrete sharpness. At the same time this does not distortions and aberrations, and the sharpness is excellent, however the autofocus could use .... but maybe it's a defect that the AF-S does not have its yield ... he was born that way, for machines with :) autofocus motor. At this price it is unbeatable. I need AF-S but hardly sell. It's too good to do that and gave me too many satisfactions !!!!

Pros: Light, size, bright, f / 2.8 is a "blade"

Cons: Plasticky, the absence of the AF motor at full aperture is too soft, focus ring jerky fire.

Opinion: Excellent lens. There are no similar lenses in such a low cost. It was given years ago and is the only one I had left lens. Once you try you can not help but love ... On APS-C is too long, especially in the interior but on FF is the perfect lens, all do. It 'a lens that can not miss in any photo backpack. At full aperture it is a little soft, but depending on the case goes bene.rnA see it and touch it looks like a toy instead of a lot of satisfactions.

Pros: quality / price ratio very high, size and weight, medium-telephoto for portraits on APS-C, handyman on FF.

Cons: At f / 1.8 suffers a bit 'of chromatic aberrations.

Opinion: Given the cost so low, in the face of such a good quality, it is one of those goals that everyone should always have. Small, fits in your pocket, it weighs like a feather and creates great pictures. The aperture f / 1.8 lets you shoot in low light conditions without raising too ISO, and remove the subject from the background in the case of portraits in the foreground and American plan. Unclear f / 1.8? For portraits extreme sharpness can be counterproductive, but mostly it is just close to f / 2 to have a visible improvement, and by f / 2.2 it becomes a knife.

Cons: some aberration, plasticky, does not excel at TA but nothing serious, lack of af model car is on some bodies (es.D3200, D5300 etc.)

Opinion: This 50cc gave me much satisfaction. Objective 9, especially for the price. The colors are soft, not very saturated but I like it. In this price range it is definitely a great goal! Cons: Vignetting on FF, chromatic aberration, Unclear at RT.

Opinion: Actually seen the cost really laughable defects are mild, and easily solved by stopping down by one stop working and the file in PP. Pros: Small, fits in your pocket, robust, precise AF, handyman on FF, great for portrait lens on DX.

Cons: I have the older version to 1996, so it is not D. I lose the full reading Matrix and flash. A TA I have to use a strong vignetting correction of FF to the apertures.

Opinion: What, found used at 60 € .. taken as a joke, I have a habit of 40mm on the right and 85 on the FF to do portrait and / or the like, plus the zoom so it was a duplicate. I use it far more than anticipated also in the landscape, in the evening for photos on the fly, always on FF. DX by perhaps the best, but do not use it often. The AF amazed me, very quick and quiet with D610, more than any zoom "normal". The colors are more pastel 85 / 1.8 AF-S thing that is often appreciated in the landscape cloudy. Pros: Price, Value for Money, Dimensions and Weight

Cons: AF, Construction, Yield Lit, Sharpness

Opinion: Slightly less performance of the new G but at half the price, and we are talking about a really low price: it may be the first choice of the neophyte. Optically not exciting, go to f4 diaphragmed least to get decent edge; the yield backlit leaves to be desired, losing much contrast. Not suitable for entry level SLR not equipped with AF motor, on which loses the AF. Rather plasticky but still more than adequate for the price range in which you place. Very convenient to carry because of its lightness, not taking up space in your bag. If you need a bright lens at a low price this is definitely the first choice.

RnRispetto 50 f1.4D' more 'cruel on portraits, because it highlights mercilessly all skin defects, so I see more' suitable for other uses, or at most for full length portraits, being more 'surgery, such as yield. Below f4 has a little 'rough character, not perfectly clear. The colors are fantastic, saturated nice and creamy and the shapes are round and vivid, soft bokeh, although not pennellatissimo. In general I find it a bit 'mushy (shapes and colors), less cool version of AFS, and I think as a value for' money (and brand) there are no alternative and competitive.rnNon &serious; fast (it is enough in the majority of the 'usual' circumstances), and goes to sign with virtually always precision (from f4 onwards).

Cons: structure plasticky, not Tropicalised

Opinion: The lens is really phenomenal. Produces images very clean and crisp. The only drawback to just be picky is the structure plasticky (during assembly are feeling the crunch of plastic if you press too). For those who do not need equipment Tropicalised is perfect. It will have its glitches, (soft at room temperature), but as already written above with a single stop in closing much improved, with 2 stop goes perfectly, and reached its peak from f / 4 up to f / 9.rnHa a boken yummy and a good yield of the whole fotogramma.rnBasta, I repeat, is pocketable, it costs nothing for what it's worth, is a focal usabilissima, 2 steps back and really to become a 24, two steps forward and becomes a 75, a color rendering and microcontrast old style.rnl'unica excuse not to have a body with AF motor interno.rn

Pros: Sharp lightweight versatile .. a great quality handyman fixed

Cons: A little plasticky

Opinion: Taken today after so many forums and read several comparisons with its peers. Well just took the top looked like a toy and I came to smile .. inserted on the d700 has taken the magic. Fabulous nitidis mum from 2.2 onwards. The d700 that looks like a tank with goals pesanti.sembrava become a mirorless. . I recommend it strongly. To take anywhere.

Pros: exceptional clarity, one major focus, light, versatile, quality / price fabulous

Cons: not yet torovato

Opinion: a lens that must not be missed in the bag, looks good in front of any corredo.Ho tried version f1, 4 is D G I do not see the differences, if not in the whole prezzo.A opening game has a focus on closing a fabulous pair baffles, the sharpness and the separation between the foreground and the rest is vede.A diaphragm is a average sharpness sconcertante.rnSu fx is the timeless "fifty" suitable for almost anything; on the right is a 75mm by urlo.rnper what it costs you hold in life

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, and lightness!

Cons: No One

Opinion: Even for me it was the first lens bought for my D90 (after 18-105 found in KIT) .rnL'ho found a hundred euro and I think it is worth at least twice! I tried the anke 1.4G what 3 times as much but in my opinion between the one and the other, the yield is identical! So if you do not need the autofocus on the lens you should take 50 1.8D. rnrnE 'the lens ideal for close-up photos to the evenings with friends, ceremonies, indoors with little luce.rnrn The maximum aperture of 1.8 is shown only to create an intense focus in the neighborhood of the focus point fire, then this opening is not really suited to take pictures with a face because if you focus your nose all the rest will be blurred !!! But that's the beauty of this light! RnrnSe f2.5 close to a first floor you are exaggerated, clear and soft at the right point with a nice background blur! If you close the iris still above the 3.5 begins to come out a sharpness hallucinating that leaves you stunned! rnI returned colors are nice and bright withcontrast well calibrato.rnrnQuesto object is so small and light that you do not even seem to have it attached to the camera, as there will be plasticky pare..ma ki cares, mica must hit the wall to see if it is resistant not ?! rnConsiglio keeping it dietro.rn

Pros: Sharpness, focus, quality / price ratio, versatility.

Cons: None

Opinion: It was my first bought it alongside the 18-105 lens kit with the D90. You can not do without a lens like that! Fuzzy spectacular, excellent sharpness ... A lot of fun to play this goal, you can do a bit 'of everything and always with excellent quality. The fact that plastic does not see much of a problem ... X what it costs ... It is worth more! Of course, to be used on cameras that have auto focus inside.

Pros: Sharpness, color, focus, contrast.

Cons: Focus on TA.

Opinion: Objective yield magnificent and excellent value for money. Used on D90 has allowed me to make a quantum leap forward in terms of sharpness, definition and color rendition. I'm experiencing a little 'difficulty in focusing on TA although some inaccuracy is due to the discrete focus of the D90. Objective certainly recommended.

Pros: Fantastic colors, excellent bokeh, detail and sharpness

Cons: Construction perhaps a little too plastic and soft at full aperture

Opinion: This objective, especially thinking about what it costs, it is amazing how color rendering that as bokeh. For more 'than 100 € possiediamo a gem to always carry in your purse, at the right time, offering fantastic shots. Sure it's a bit soft at room temperature, but the overall quality and especially the price make you forget the inconvenience. For the rest, it can also serve as "pass" at Full Frame, and this is another advantage that should not be forgotten.

Pros: Optical quality, metal bayonet, af always fast and accurate, small, good also used for the macro with extension tubes or mounted inverted on any DSLR via adapter ring

Cons: building too light and fragile. eye to flare, loses contrast, keep the lens hood

Opinion: The praises of this objective are well known so I dilungo.rnrnL'ho used on both digital and film, beautiful, is a must-have! RnrnCon a body as entry-level Nikon d60 or later you lose but af everything else remains, and straconsiglio! rnrnSu film, for those who still uses it, is truly magnificent! rnrnSebbene the front lens is very recessed and protected, recommend the use of a lens hood standard, even those universal rubber, to avoid flare and consequent loss of contrastornrnA 2.8 is already discrete, and f4 has a good yield and a nice blur. 5.6 onwards crisp "abbestia"! rnrnSi get good macro is with extension tubes, either by mounting invertito.rnrnChe have a film or digital, aps-c or fufu, you will not pentirete.rnrnE for what it costs you can quietly take it back!

Pros: Crisp, light and versatile.

Cons: No, but beware: do not have the internal AF motor, so not suitable for SLR without AF.

Opinion: Sharp as usual Nikon, great for interiors, but thanks to the lightness, it lends itself very well outside around the streets of the city. It has VR stabilizer which in certain circumstances limit you feel. Clearly a bit long on APS-C in the pictures inside, but the question is moot. Recommended for quality and price.

Pros: Fraction of the cost for what it's worth, bright, sharp, good contrast!

Cons: Plastic frame!

Opinion: Since the 'I bought is always mounted on my D90 and I use it for almost everything, it is a lens which can not do without! Give the image very sharp if you work from f4 onwards and a beautiful bokeh f2 down! Too bad for the plastic structure, if it was metal it would have been really perfect! Absolutely to be recommended to everyone!

Pros: Low cost, excellent sharpness and brightness, autofocus immediate attack metal.

Cons: No

Opinion: I purchased this light used and it was love immediately (although on my 3100 I could not use the autofocus). It 'superb lens for portraits on APS-c and, if appropriate an extension tube could also be a great lens macro.rnLa sharpness is amazing even at fully open aperture, 1, 8f allows you to play with close-up quai like a macro, and high brightness does the rest for the creation of amazing images. Also good for speed in focus (I now have a d7000 and then I finally got to try it), and actions for moving gives good images. Unfortunately it is not anymore and has been replaced with a lens of the same level, but the advice in case you want to save something in the world of used saw that has nothing to envy to his heir in the current store shelves.

Pros: Cost, clarity, weight

Cons: No. That is a lot for what it costs

Opinion: I admit that I have this light to use inverted but when I tried it on a d700, normally I was sbalordito.rnl '1 .8 is useful when the light is scarce but in fact becomes a real razor blade from f2 up! RnIl his weight and size make it extremely low perspective time.rnConsigliatissima really full!

Pros: Light, bright, economic

Cons: It has no built-in AF motor, plastic construction.

Opinion: My first fixed lens, excellent in terms of brightness and with a good focus. Makes the best machines on FF, but also on my D90 allows me to get good results. The only notes, to want to try and however justified by the ridiculous price, are lack of engine that allows you to use the AF on the machines in the economy segment and plastic construction.

Pros: Brightness, Sharpness Excellent, Good Contrast

Cons: nothing

Opinion: The drive for excellence in my opinion. It 'was my first fixed lens and I have to say that I am very enthusiastic from the start. Thanks to its brightness is more or less perfect in every lighting situation. When used at f / 4 and up is excellent in every point of view, sharp and contrasted in the right place. For what it's coast offers an excellent quality! It 's always with me and I use a little' to everything.

Pros: Brightness, sharpness, low cost

Cons: Plastic barrel

Opinion: Thanks to its remarkable openness is a great lens in low light situations, although you may prefer to use it from f / 2 onwards to avoid a slight loss of sharpness .. I use it mainly for portraits, although due to its size and its light weight it always carry in your backpack, and I do not dislike other uses such as street photography, or architecture .. For me it is a great lens that I recommend to all willingly, and its low price makes it even more interesting .. I think it's impossible to top these figures ..
