sent on May 11, 2023 Pros: Small, Lightweight, Versatile, Sharp (even too much), F 1.8, metal bayonet, great fun. Cons: Not stabilized! AF not lightning fast like the last AF-P, sometimes limping in low light and a bit noisy. I repeat: NOT STABILIZED Opinion: Optics to have in your DX kit, very fun to use. Ideal x compact and light outputs, it is appreciated x the nesting on the whole frame, already good at f1.8 that becomes excellent aperture a little. F1.8 that becomes indispensable as well as fun in low light conditions (paying attention to the pdc that is reduced a lot, better to use the unwritten rule of hyperfocal). 50mm equivalents are excellent x portraits set, where it shows off an excellent sharpness and a good bokeh, but too long in case of landscape that can be solved by composing panoramic shots. The only real big con is the lack of stabilizer, which is also missing on DX cameras forces you to use shutter speeds not less than 1/50 (better 1/60), sometimes nullifying the excellent brightness at f1.8 rising alas ISO. Rated 9.5 considered the very popular price of the new. A best buy ! |
sent on May 10, 2023 Pros: price/performance ratio Cons: nothing taking into account the Pro Opinion: I use it on 1V3 clearly equipped with FT1, it performs well in most situations (and conditions). Given the new 170 Euro, the excursion 1,8>22 (3,5>14 gives the best of itself) with a little attention (and malice) does what it has to do and does it quite well. Lightweight, compact and reliable AF and also right in docking times as long as the light remains at acceptable levels. |
sent on April 16, 2023 Pros: Lightweight, quality material, bright, sharp Cons: Chromatic aberration, af, bayonet, flare Opinion: It costs little and is worth little. It suffers a lot from chromatic aberration, flare, the focus is poor does not hit one. The bayonet is badly made, you have to force a little to hook it. Worse than the 18-105 that mounts the D7000 kit. For me it was money wasted. I have never seen even a tamron 55-300 with such an aberration. I don't recommend it. |
sent on March 06, 2023 Pros: Ridiculous price and possibility to use on FX without vignetting Cons: nothing Opinion: with extreme amazement mounted on nikon D750 fx does not vignette now that my health conditions allow me to photograph only with the right hand and sitting on the cart with the d750 and this 35 with the ridiculous weight I do not have any difficulty in photographing freehand with one hand and, I say thank goodness I also tried to multiply it with kenko 1.4x is absolutely not bad |
sent on May 03, 2022 Pros: sharp, lightweight, flexible, bright Cons: plastic perhaps Opinion: On my D90 it is equivalent to a 50ino that is not really my favorite focal length, and not to a 35mm but honestly I paid so little that I could not miss it. My preferences apart I found it excellent: excellent brightness, excellent sharpness and with the matching hood there are no problems of flare or infiltration. And since it's fashionable, it seems to me to have a great obokeh, but I don't understand much of it... In short, maybe I don't use it, but in bags it is always there. |
sent on March 16, 2022 Pros: Bright, beautiful colors, sharpness, overall look of the photos. Cons: Nobody Opinion: Fantastic goal, I love it. With the D500 I always carry it with me and it never disappoints me, I always take out beautiful photos, with beautiful colors and excellent sharpness. I would say that it is a lens that makes me want to photograph, also for the fact that it is very compact when mounted. in addition on FF it is equivalent to a 52mm which is my favorite focal length. The vignetting is present, but very soft and as far as I am concerned it helps to give a very pleasant look to the photos. Obviously it is plastic and does not have a professional feeling, but for the price it has you can not want anything more than it already offers. |
sent on January 29, 2022 Pros: Sharp, lightweight, quite compact, price, colors, easily found in used, fast af and quite quiet, very bright Cons: Af less silent than other afs, plastic (but still solid), tends to purple / blue in certain conditions ... what else can be said about a lens that you take home with little and excellent results? Opinion: The 35mm on apsc does not drive me crazy as a focal length, but this is a personal taste, there is little to say .. little expense and a lot of yield. I think it is the best lens for value for money of nikon, very light, churns out great photos and is silent and fast. Sometimes the colors turn blue/purple in certain light conditions, but in general it behaves very well. It has excellent flare resistance and represents the standard on apsc since it is equivalent to 52mm on FF. I always keep it in my bag and it is the lens I use the most during outings. I recommend it to all those who wish to have a fixed to accompany a handyman in situations where more brightness and detail are needed. Absolutely positive vote! |
sent on November 18, 2021 Pros: For me it is perfect as the first fixed lens not too narrow to have, very engaging in the composition of the scene / photography, light to carry both mounted and backpacked Cons: Plastic but for price quality sincerely I do not think you can complain Opinion: This lens is fine if you are at the beginning (but also not) combined with lens / zoom kit, this lens will help you a lot to learn the composition because you have to move to compose the scene frame a subject and shoot, now for me on D7500 is a primary lens, 35mm I do a little bit of everything around because not too tight I feel very good, I would recommend it precisely for price quality. |
sent on April 25, 2021 Pros: Price, size, good optics also on FF Cons: Plastic, noisy autofocus compared to new optics. Opinion: Goal that not everyone likes, because of the format. I honestly enjoyed it right away on my faithful D7000. Ideal for the street, it shows excellent sharpness by closing it at 5.6. It softens to more open diaphragms, but depending on the use you make of it it is preferable to open and steal some stops in terms of brightness and laying time rather than enjoy a sharp image. Very compact size, small and weighs nothing, makes it the ideal lens for when you go around and you don't need any zoom optics. In addition, I was impressed by the use also on FF, without cropping the DX area. In fact, even at the most open focal points, it shows a slight vignetting that can be modified in pp. |
sent on April 24, 2021 Pros: Sharpness, weight and size, price Cons: Don't have it in your bag, it's a plasticone Opinion: A very valid objective in terms of sharp image and comfort: it is small and light and above all, which is no small matter, it is cheap! It excels in street photography and night at small to medium distance. It is also very valid for portraits, although for those the 50 mm would be the top. Unfortunately it sins on the material, but for what Nikon offers us is a lens more than promoted! |
sent on April 02, 2021 Pros: Cheap, Small, Crisp, Useful in the city, and in Clubs with little light, it defends itself very well.... Cons: In my opinion, no one... Opinion: Bright, light, crisp, cheap... Very useful in parties, in clubs with little light, In interiors of type Abazie, Sacre, Monuments, and a show with the addition of an Element Travel type trepidation the big, go full sails... If I need a wider angle I put my 10-24 but not as bright as the DX35-f/1.8 I feel great, I pair with the D300 that practically and at the TOP. Once mounted not and bulky, and the weight and balanced, it looks good in all the mini photo bags... Cheap with an expense of 160,00 €uro from Euronics during nikon's Original Nital discounts recorded all OK... I don't have a Birdwatcher Hearing, so for me and quiet, and for more than a year I bought it works great for me and the Massimo... A great greeting to everyone... (MGNELLO) |
sent on March 23, 2021 Pros: Compact, light, bright, versatile Cons: chromatic aberrations, sharpness that leaves something to be desired under f/2.8, noisy AF, blurry often mediocre Opinion: The quality of the image is decent, and overall it is a versatile optics (however "boring" and devoid of features that make it really special) that adapts to many uses (I have used it in the past for every type of photography, from street to landscape). Unfortunately my copy presents an obvious problem of backfocus especially at close range and open diaphragms (let's talk about f/1.8-2.8) that only goes away if you use the live view (so far I have had the opportunity to use it only on a D5300, and those who own that camera know how slow it is), and I realized it too late to be able to make the return; even manual focus does not solve the problem, except in live view. Regardless of the problems my specimen may have, however, I do not understand how you can consider its bokeh "beautiful" - I would call it at most sufficient and sometimes even mediocre or nervous. The objective then in certain situations has strong chromatic aberrations, which begin to become acceptable only at f/2.8. Same speech for sharpness, in many situations only at f/2.8 you reach something acceptable in the center of the frame. The autofocus is quite noisy, maybe noisier than the 18-105mm, although not by much but for me it was never a problem (after all I use a REFLEX); it is not particularly fast, I would call it only "discreet". There is not much more to say than that this objective would certainly have benefited the presence of optical stabilization, but perhaps at this price it is asking far too much. I have to disagree with those who say that it is not suitable for making videos, it is not if you use autofocus (like many other DX optics released before 2017, for that matter), but if you use manual focus, as long as you can focus on the desired area before recording, this is feasible and adapts to vlogs and small musical performances. Rating: 7.7. |
sent on February 07, 2021 Pros: Cost, blurry, Image Quality, Lightness, Price Cons: Noisy autofocus, Plasticoso (but this makes it light) Opinion: This lens was the third purchase after 50mm and kit zooming in. It was my favorite lens on reflex (d3200) and it still is despite switching to ML. I use it on the z50 with the ftz adapter. The optics are lightweight and have a fairly fast autofocus (not at the level of z-optics but discrete) and precise. Use for portrait and street. It's my election lens and I always take it with me. It weighs very little has a nice Bokeh and good sharpness. You can really do anything about it. In my gallery practically 80% of the photos are made with this lens. It is one of those lenses that should NEVER be missing. It returns wonderful shots and costs very little. |
sent on June 10, 2020 Pros: Price, lightness quality, speed Cons: Not suitable for making videos (but not built for this) Opinion: Slightly lower quality than the magnificent 50 mm f/1.8 but otherwise the same is true. Autofocus accurate and fast, very sharp lens although looking at it has a cheap look that maybe distrusts it a little. But being cheap is a big plus. You buy it and resell it at the same price. It has a minimal footprint (it goes in your pocket) and weighs very little. Great bokeh and great sharpness. One of those lenses that, together with the 50mm f/1.8 MUST NOT be missing in a photographer's kit. It is preferred in the street area compared to the 50 mm especially in the dx because it is a bit wider. Great for portraits although slightly lower, as mentioned, at 50 mm. Recommended |
sent on February 26, 2020 Pros: Quality of a good cheap fixed Cons: The Italian version costs twice as much. The quality of the 50 Nikon is superior. Opinion: It must be said that those who want to shoot with a fixed and have a DX often have to turn to the competition for these focal... All in all this lens does a really good job for how much it costs from new if bought abroad or Used Italian, it is always found! As a fixed first it is absolutely to try for those who come from the zooms. |
sent on May 30, 2019 Pros: Small, compact, light, sharp too. Cons: Difficult to fit a lens hood, or vignette or little serves, including that Nikon, the least worse is an old Cokin squared with Ring 52. Opinion: I bought it just came out and after 88 reviews and many years of use, what can be added? Meanwhile I used it on a heap of SLR, D40, D80, D3100, D7000 and now D500. On all the focus is accurate and quick, on the D80 perhaps the fastest, on the D500 the most accurate.. I also tried it duly cropped on FF, D610 and Df. It's better on D610, 10MP high-quality units. The main use was the portrait, the figure on the American plane (cut to the knee to be clear) and has never disfigured, fans of "Sfocus" will not be enthusiastic about the aperture 2.8 but the pastiness of the background is not bad at all. The second use were the panoramas, distorts a nothing and then you can "paste" more shots with interesting perspective and scenic effects. As "macro" I used it a little.. It should be for a macro the main use, but I used it more in the range 40cm-a meter, it is perfect for many uses, not least the food industry. Although old man and with thousands of shots made, seems like new, but not because I was attentive and manic, but because it is very robust. |
sent on May 10, 2019 Pros: Optical quality, blurred, size, durable. Cons: Autofocus, lack of distance window. Opinion: Nikon's policy regarding the DX compartment is insane, it builds the best DSLR in the industry and has no fixed lens dedicated to these machines, other than that. How to build magnificent sports cars and assemble only spare wheels. The lens is valid, a bit ' long for my taste (from 30 to 33mm would have been a true "normal"), on the 24mpx sufficiently sharp even at full aperture (better if at F/2) to become excellent at the intermediate diaphragms. It's also light and compact, very important points for me. I used it under a snowfall for a couple of hours (with snow melting) and did not report any damage or condensation inside, so it also seems quite resistant to atmospheric agents. The real big problem is the focus: mounted on D7100 the number of photos with wrong focus is embarrassing. It does not depend on errors of calibration, simply the coupled machine-objective decides to focus precisely when it pleases. I suspect that this is another "little gift" of the Nikon policy of relegating non-professional performance to APSC (even with random errors generated via the machine's software), to bring users to move to full format. Reason for this suspicion? Mounted on an old D700 (which still has an outstanding autofocus), the AF is not mistaken for a shot. At the same time, with third party lenses the D7100 tends to make very few focus errors. Frankly embarrassing! |
sent on March 30, 2019 Pros: Practically everything: sharpness, detail, chromatic rendition, "Depth" of the images, lightness, remarkable quality/price ratio. Cons: Practically nothing: Some chromatic aberration but generally of little account. No Tropicalization and stabilization (in a lens like this? Maybe we got used to it too well). Cheap-Plasticosa Construction (Is it that bad? It still seems durable, and then for what it costs...). Opinion: It is a kind of ideal companion for the Nikon Dx, practically their "fifty" equivalent election. It is light as a feather, it produces excellent technical quality images (when not close to perfection), and it costs like three good-level fish dinners (it is worth replacing them with bread and mortadella and take home the lens). Other? Autofocus not at the highest levels of speed and accuracy? Boh, I can not find many errors, and at least for the type of photos I do, the differences in nanoseconds with other focus of other lenses, Count zero. The images that it returns are deep and contrastate, and having it taken by mistake (it is very confused with the 50 1.4 G FF), I was amazed by its yield also on the D800, while forcing it to crop Dx from "only" 15.4 mpx. The bokeh and the blur are not excelled, but they do absolutely their job. Ah, it can be made useless by the Tamron 35 1.8 FF, which is also stabilized (a real bomb), but the latter, curiously, loses slightly of resolve on Dx (little stuff eh?) While this other 35 is just "at home". Apparently just sewn as a suit for the classic 24 MPX sensor of the D5600 and several other Nikon Dx's recent. Rating: 9. |
sent on January 26, 2019 Pros: Easy to carry, bright, versatile Cons: Less sharpness than the 50 mm Opinion: I took this lens to have a higher angle of field than the 50 mm that I have equally. I noticed less sharpness and some problem cn the focus. Otherwise good brightness being 1.8, easy to carry around. It has a nice blurry to 1.8 not equivalent to the 50 mm (of which I am in love). The 35 mm I see it well for street photography, so for a trip I think it's the perfect lens. |
sent on December 08, 2018 Pros: Weight, sharpness, brightness, flare resistance, price, focus distance Cons: Autofocus, chromatic aberrations Opinion: Blessed the day that when I took the d5100 I decided to flank the 18-55 from kit this lens. Result? The lens from kit I almost never used it. Exceptional brightness and sharpness, if used well allows you to make excellent photos without spending a capital in expensive lenses, even with my now old Nikon. It is a lens that requires a minimum of attention, in strong light conditions suffers a little chromatic aberrations, however correggibbili. Instead in case of low brightness the autofocus is not always precise, but I found it very convenient to use in manual focus despite missing the scale of distances. As far as I'm concerned on DX is the optics par excellence for portraits set at a low cost, with its beautiful blurred; But with a little creativity you can also do landscapes and street even if it has a corner of the field a bit tight. It is a lens that leads to experiment thanks also to its low focusing distance, not suitable for macro however that allows to get interesting effects based on the Sogggetto |
sent on October 11, 2018 Pros: weight, price, brightness, sharpness, Aperture Cons: AF can be improved Opinion: I own this lens for a few months that I use on Nikon D7200 I immediately appreciated the lightness, brightness and sharpness but I struggled to adapt to AF the lack of scale for manual focus is a small problem especially at the beginning When you are not familiar with this lens great value for money |
sent on October 07, 2018 Pros: weight, price, sharpness, Aperture f1,8 Cons: Chromatic aberrations Opinion: Used on Nikon D7100. I have it for a few months, I think is a good lens for portraits set... initially I had great difficulty to use it cause notable rear-focus, then I adjusted it and I started to have fun... the pros are of course the price the compactness and the lightness, while the cons are the chromatic aberrations and purple fringing that force a major job in pp.. This only happens in particular light conditions, but it gives enough discomfort... the sharpness is great (better still closing the diaphragm a bit) as well as the silent autofocus and "enough" Reactive. The only thing I do not like is the focal, on DX becomes a 52 and is difficult to use in other conditions that is not the portrait set. The minimum focus is very good to the advantage of the blurred, but nevertheless still remains a 35 not well on tight portraits. In short a 50 with the prospect of 35.. anyway for the price that has worth the money Spent. |
sent on July 15, 2018 Pros: Good sharpness, bright, very light, popular price Cons: AF not flawless in non-optimal light conditions Opinion: After trying it thanks to a friend I bought it and I have not detached from the camera body for about 3 months because I found it extremely versatile, using it especially in the portraits set but also in events that do not require large angle openings. It is very bright, and gives good sharpness even to those who (like me) do not feel it to spend large numbers, so the value for money is high (even at full aperture!). In portraits it gives the maximum if you want to contextualize the subject, whereas if you have to tighten on a foreground the need for a longer length you hear, but this is more a limitation of the focal than the lens in question. The AF sometimes made me misfires, especially in light conditions not optimal, but already at the second attempt has been made to forgive. It's very light, and that's the long count. To buy. |
sent on May 09, 2018 Pros: Cost-Brightness-lightness Cons: For what it costs nothing. Opinion: Soft blurry and excellent brightness, zero weight (at least on my d7100). I use it more in closed places like churches restaurants etc... Goal that every APS-C should mount. The cost is affordable and is great for both portraits and landscapes and street. I also recommend to Mount 52 filter in outdoor areas and in the presence of strong natural light. Lens hood pretty good even if not mounted almost never. Council |
sent on April 03, 2018 Pros: Sharpness, brightness, cost, compactness and lightness Cons: The distance scale for manual focusing is missing Opinion: I've been using this lens for a couple of months now and I'm very happy with it. Nitidissimo, bright, compact, light and cheap! Autofocus is fast enough and works well. I think it's a lens that anyone with a Nikon DX camera body should have in their own kit. The only missing is the distance scale for manual focusing, but given the price you can forgive without problems! |
sent on January 26, 2018 Pros: Sharpness, f1.8, price, WEIGHT and SIZE, price, versatility Cons: Af improvable Opinion: Objective that every DX owner should have. Excellent sharpness, very bright, pleasant blurred. The small size and the low weight make you want to go out always with the machine in tow. Very recommended for evening shots due to the high brightness. The focus is a bit noisy and improved but nothing to worry about. It does not disdain portraits in the foreground, excellent for portraits and even for landscapes in some situations. Perfect for street. Personally preferred to the 50mm on the right for the versatility that comport.rnVisto the price, I highly recommend adding the lens to your kit. |
sent on January 12, 2018 Pros: Sharpness, soft focus, price Cons: Very light aberrations and purple fringing Opinion: Fantastic lens in quality / price ratio, if you want to start making photography with the mind is the best "fifty" classic available on aps-c. Given the focal length if you buy it with a specific purpose carefully weigh the choice, I use it for events often as crowded as the disco as a second lens: it is obviously not versatile but really returns surprising colors and bright, fast and accurate autofocus. One of the few lenses "made in Thailand" to be proud of! |
sent on January 09, 2018 Pros: Sharpness, brightness, price Cons: nobody Opinion: I usually use it on the D7000 and the advantages of fixed focal length and lightness are the favorable points of this Nikon optics, as well as the selling price in the new one. Sharpness at the top from F / 4, slightly soft at TA up to F / 2.8. On DX it becomes a 52mm, which makes it suitable for every occasion of the street to the landscape to the set portraits. Highly recommended |
sent on December 27, 2017 Pros: Sharpness, f1.8, price Cons: nobody Opinion: Bought used but almost new to 180 euros with Nital warranty, excellent as a lens for street, combined with d3200 produces excellent results. In general I recommend the purchase as the first lens to combine with the standard zoom kit (better 18-105). On the right it becomes almost a 50mm and therefore it is good for both portraits and reportage. Recommended, you can not find better in relation to the price. Rated 9.5 |
sent on November 25, 2017 Pros: Sharpness, brightness, lightness, precise AF and fast. Cons: Fixed focal, noisy AF, "plastic" aesthetics, chromatic aberrations, light f / b focus. Opinion: I have this lens for a few months: my opinion is 18-140mm and 17-50mm (Tamron) I have. The quality of the images produced with this lens is excellent. Well above the top two. It's light and this helps to make my d7200 more manageable. My is affected by a slight F / b focus (we are talking about a few millimeters) that I corrected in the car (made for grooming, because in real use it did not create any problems anyway). The blurry effect it produces is pleasant but not of the best (we always talk about a lens of 250 €). I use it mainly for portraits, indoor photos (like family parties) and in general when they are around town.rnOnly it is a fixed focal point, and to zoom in it serves to move, approach, move away ...... (and not there is always the possibility / desire to do so). You "force" to find special shots for its peculiarity of being a fixed one. I do not know you a few volsI heard the lack of a zoom (both down and up) but all in all, even when I was just zooming I noticed that upwards for most of 24-40 mm.rnAltra thing that signal it is the the presence of chromatic aberrations (which I have not always managed to solve in pp with the slow profile). Last thing .... is a plasticone .... it is not quite a counter, but report it as such. rnrnIs it recommend? Obviously yes for non-professional use. |
sent on November 03, 2017 Pros: Nitrous, f 1.8, contrasting the right and engraved. Cost. AF silent. Cons: Some aberration to TA, distortion. Opinion: Great standard lens on DX with minimal cost and great yield. I only sold it for not being used (I do not like the 50mm equivalent and I used it a bit) exchanging it for an older 24 2.8 af d to use as a 35mm on the D7100 as a "walking" lens. It is very sharp and the yield is that of the non-nanized G series. It is highly recommended if it likes the equivalent focal length (almost) to 50. It is very small and is relatively small in size. rn |
sent on September 24, 2017 Pros: Sharpness, domination, price Cons: Nobody Opinion: I say that I probably do not have a lot of text since I started to shoot for just a month, but I'm really fine with this great big goal. Selected especially because it's a handyman, landscapes, portraits, street art ... it's all! Rn As far as the price of 200 € on Amazon is almost a ridiculous figure if compared to the price of an 18-55 or similar.rnThank you very much! |
sent on August 12, 2017 Pros: Lightweight, practical, sharp. Cons: AF not fast. It tends to underestimate. Opinion: I've been buying this goal for a few days after reading the reviews of this forum. I have to say that I was impressed by the quality especially for the really low price. RnWith 18-200 VR I have been using for years on my D300 this 35mm tends to submerge the scene virtually in any mode (spot, matrix, center weighted). I have to compensate for + 0.7 / 1.0 to have a correct photo and the level of the other target. Is it possible that nobody has happened? I'm thinking of a defect in my goal. |
sent on July 20, 2017 Pros: Weight, size, af for landscapes and portraits, full time mf, filters diameter 52, suitable for cameras aps.c. New price Cons: No Vr, but for the weight that is is not a problem. Chromatic aberrations easily corrected in pp. Light construction but not a problem. Opinion: I advise buying this goal to those who own an ace. Easy to use and has great value for money. Many people complain about the fleece, maybe I was lucky, I do not find a lot of flax. As I said it is great for landscapes, streets, portraits. I like blurry, in my soft view. The chromatic aberrations are few and easily eliminable with two clicks in pp. Vote 10 for me. |
sent on March 17, 2017 Pros: Size and weight, ideal lens to get closer to optical bright with entry level Cons: chromatic aberrations, construction, the focus ring, no focus of scale, autofocus Opinion: I recommend this lens to holders of entry level Nikon (from D3000 to D5600) who are thinking of approaching the bright fixed for the first time. First, it is a lens that does not count in filling a backpack: with an entry level course of small size, it is very discreet filming in town for Street Photography. Also it is in the pocket of any jacket, with due caution. The yield is not great, you have to consider the price and it is useless to compare it to the more expensive versions in circulation; However, it finding used around 130 Euros and again a little more than 200, is a good compromise between quality and price. Chromatic aberrations are ubiquitous especially at open aperture, the autofocus is noisy and slow and the associated ring, besides being tiny and cumbersome for lack of fluidity, does not have a corresponding visual scale nor proposes a good stroke end. Of course the object is definitely "plasticone" but I repeat, entersin the crack of a backpack in which you riporrebbe a ball head or pocket. |
sent on March 16, 2017 Pros: Great and cheap Cons: Nothing Opinion: Taken in place of my Nikkor 18-105 kit. I must say that I use it in 90% of situations. I took this instead of 50mm for its versatility. From street-photography to landscapes (of course in this case it is not comparable to a wide angle, but otherwise makes his duty so dear). In conjunction with Tammy 70-300 is the top. Straconsigliato for those who want to start to grapple with fixed optics in DX. Took to 190 Euros on offer on Amazon. At this price I do not know what you can do better. |

Crisp, compact, powerful, it never disappoints. I used it for 6 years and I have always considered the most versatile of the 50mm f / 1.8. Great for those who want to start playing with the depth of field and the artistic blurred. 52mm standard filter, in common with the 18-55 kit from. Rating: 10 |
sent on February 26, 2017 Pros: Clarity, cost, focal aperture. Cons: Af noisy, purple chromatic aberration, Opinion: I love the 35 DX, it is my favorite goal. With him you can shoot in low light conditions, thanks to the opening 1.8. I took pictures to objects almost in darkness where the colors were reproduced in an excellent manner, and the photos are beautiful day with bright colors. It can also be used for video, although the A.F. Continuous is noisy and should set it to manual, but set to 1.8 in a room lit only by a bedside lamp sharpness is impressionante.rnA Sometimes you see purple chromatic aberrations that can be removed with camera raw. sent on December 16, 2016 Pros: Price, weight, clarity. Cons: build quality, af very inaccurate Opinion: For the price I have to say it is a good business referring to picture quality, the quality of materials however are not satisfied, they are too plasticky and assembled in a superficial way. The ring of focus has too much "game" and arrived at the end of stroke nut continues to turn. The af is very inaccurate at large apertures 5 photos, 3 are out of focus, I sent well in care, but there appeared no defect. A little over € 100 is 35mm of Yongnuo level materials and optical efficiency is similar and costs less. |
sent on November 26, 2016 Pros: Cost, autofocus, useful on every occasion. Cons: nothing Opinion: Bought on ebay auction at a paltry price £ 86 no doubt that is a focal always on my D5300 use because with the right factor should be approximately 52mm FX.Nelle old digital SLRs not by chance that the lens was not wild but the 50mm zoom .in effects attached to the 16mm and 85 and a 50mm macro with these lenses I put two zoom side, namely the 18-55 and 18-105.La yield is great and I use it with a ratio of three times longer than other fixed lenses .a good extension tube or a good filter close up macro beautiful photos allow. |
sent on October 08, 2016 Pros: high yield and low cost. Well above the zoom kit. With the 35 attacked you has a very light car, great for long sessions or walks. Cons: For now nothing Opinion: I quote a review already made a shame not to have taken before. gorgeous and versatile lens. Small moves around with ease and gives great satisfaction. Now I can finally do in the evenings and photos at home without having to go overboard with the ISO and even during the day have a greater speed helps. The bookeh and very nice and it is easy to have the images with the focus. |

Good lens typically for the price range, although I must say that if you search for the optical quality, especially in TA this is definitely not the objective that is right for you! Still recommended for the price! |
sent on August 30, 2016 Pros: sharpness, brightness, weight, size, bokeh Cons: Plasticky, chromatic aberrations, inaccurate AF at 1.8 Opinion: On APS-C is the 50mm all make equivalent, comfortable lens to have behind; It ' a lens with which I have quarreled a lot, the build quality is not excellent and even if the focus is continuous the ring makes it practically unusable in manual, too imprecise; At the optical output level is a modern and contrasted lens, apprezazabile sharpness at the center already in TA and excellent at 2.8-4 with a soft blurry and a nice bokeh; Unfortunately on dense sensors quai APS-C 24MPX suffers much of chromatic aberrations not always manageable in post production, moreover the AF tends to be inaccurate and it is not unusual to find specimens with back focus (better buy it again or with residual warranty, especially if from Use on entry level machine bodies such as series D3xxx and D5xxx where it is not possible to calibrate the lens in the machine and you are forced to send in service); The advice like lens all do and lens for portrait set on this format, less in the landscape where even if it does not suffer from flare the AC may be troublesome to treat. |
sent on May 01, 2016 Pros: Sharpness, Brightness, Bokeh Cons: Construction Only DX (but not cost so little if it were otherwise) Opinion: Personally, it was my first hard and makes you really understand what you mean by "depth of field." Montanto of APSC become the most classic of goals: the fifty. The sharpness is excellent from F2.5 up but already at full aperture nn disappoint. Blurred that returns is pleasant and brings out the subject very well. Pleasing the bokeh effect. rnIo I think it's a must have in the kit of a photographer: it makes you discover and love the fixed .... and you create a dependency (pity that Nikon does not devote more fixed DX ... a 20 and a 85 would be perfect). rnAnche on a day with pale and flat light if you play with the details and the depth of field will always bring home good shots ... it teaches you to use your legs instead of zooming and, more importantly, it forces you to think and reflect on composizione.rnPer against the construction is not the best ... leggerino and nut MF dancer ... but the price game ........ rn |
sent on March 10, 2016 Pros: Price, sharpness already TA, weight and structure. Cons: Autofocus not very accurate at 1.8 Opinion: I've had it less than a year, used especially at night. Very crisp at room temperature and excellent bokeh in my opinion. My personally suffer from back focus resolvable with fine tuning in the latest models of machines would otherwise be sent back for repair. The purchase price is the reason they are novice and hard to learn is what I needed. |
sent on March 01, 2016 Pros: Risolvenza sublime in relation to the cost, minimum weight, bright, at room temperature and up to 2.5-2.8 even goes well on FX SLR (with very little vignetting eliminated PP) Cons: Autofocus goes sometimes in crisis with openings from 5.6 up, plasticky, manual focus ring loose, chromatic aberration at the edges quite obvious if used 2.2 up Opinion: It 's amazing to think that costs 200 euro to be new if you consider the sharpness which already allows TA: the 1.4 mm 50 g for example, to have the same risolvenza must be pushed to 4.0 and higher. As a result although more detailed, ideally slightly dimmer, at night allows picture so to exploit the densest sensors like the one of my D800. That's right: in fact, despite being designed for DX runs quietly even on FF, and indeed, enhances even more the features. E 'literally impossible to find a glass that makes it so at that price. Up to 2.5 or so vignetting that is created using the FX it is eliminable in the post, over no. However you can always set the DX format and at that point you do not have problems and we get a more resolvent 1.4 g 50 mm focal VERY. The yield is quite amazing, and to enhance the 36 MP of the D800 is ideal; other lenses that can cost us from 1000 up on Nikon and Sigma 800 (series ART).The defects are typical of economic lenses: plasticky construction, glass untreated and more cheesy and therefore the edges manifests chromatic aberration and a certain deterioration of the image. Also the ring of manual MAF is loose and 'hooked' after some slippage. L 'AF sometimes wrong when diaframmavo above 5.0 - 5.6. In short, it has its flaws but risolvenza the center is really scary. And 'in my opinion a very good fixed lens to begin with and, for certain uses (nocturnal street in my opinion is his) even the professional can not do without it. But it makes as it should be used from 1.8 to 2.8, both for the vignetting (if used FX), and because these diaphragms within the image defects at the edges are limited. |
sent on February 29, 2016 Pros: Sharpness, speed and quality at a price affordable for everyone. Cons: Nobody Opinion: Having a hard between my optical led me to purchase this very ductile goal. It is mounted on the SLR, the D7000 my case, and you may not remove more. To take pictures in the street among the people is the maximum, given its small footprint. 1.8 The opening then allows you to use it in the evening too without raising the ISO. I use it in manual mode because in my opinion it makes you improve and understand how to make the equipment available. As a lover and not a professional photograph my lens is to improve and a set like this on DX, I think is a must in the kit! |
sent on January 06, 2016 Pros: sharpness - Brightness - Color - incisive, quality Cons: nobody Opinion: 35mm nikon DX is my first goal that I purchased, and from the very first photo I was amazed by its quality, and thinking about future purchases of fixed targets more expensive, I would have considered happy and more than satisfied if on these objectives waaay more expensive than 35mm DX, I found the same quality of 35mm this right, rn because it was the goal that made me love and try to landlines. |

sent on November 02, 2015 Pros: Price, light, bokeh, sharpness Cons: Ring focus stuttering Opinion: Initially I was torn between this and his older brother, the 50mm f / 1.8g, but I did not want a lens on DX was limited practically only portraits. I use it for 6 months and months I can be more than satisfied. Compared to the zoom lens forces you to think a lot more to photography and composition, and is a very versatile lens, perfect for reading outputs. The use for many types of photo: opening the diaphragm, since a 1.8 quality is already good and the bokeh is gorgeous, portraits and photographs for the evening, closing at 5.6 for landscapes, architecture, still life, where it becomes a real blade with excellent sharpness. In relation to the amount I spent (179 € on GigaPc) is a truly exceptional lens, Highly recommended if you want a lens bright, sharp, but also versatile. |
sent on October 23, 2015 Pros: Sharpness, cheap, lightweight. Cons: Chromatic aberrations at the widest apertures, autofocus, backlight bad. Opinion: The lens has a really good sharpness even at room temperature, in contrast to the widest apertures (say up to 2.8 excluded) presents chromatic aberrations. The engine Af can not "stop" the fast-moving subjects (eg children playing); although I noticed an improvement (always in AF-C) through the single point instead of dynamic area, 9 or 21 points, with 11 AF points; actually also his brother AF-S 50mm F1.8 G has some problems autofocus.rnPessima yield backlit. |

sent on October 20, 2015 Pros: Lens quality, price, light weight and small size Cons: Slight distortion at the minimum distance of focus Opinion: I used this lens for two years as a normal lens. The quality of the pictures is superb, and apart from some time I balanced the white in an order I have never made any post production to his shots. Also it is very light and small in size, almost seems not to have it mounted. For such a low price and for such a high quality (the result of a fixed lens and with years of planning behind it) is worth it just to use it occasionally. Only trick is that at short distances of focus tends to distort slightly (it's still a 35mm camera), but easily fixed in post. |
sent on September 26, 2015 Pros: Value for money, compact and lightweight Cons: A ''m price? Nobody. Opinion: The MTF charts of the tests that are found in the network are fake, do not describe this lens. Having beds avalanches, are all alike a bit ', I was a little' uncertain. I opted for a used, exchange hand with field test before purchasing. I found that rather what they say is true users, is a fantastic lens, in his price range is unrivaled. Head and shoulders above any other lens I tried, the difference with the zoom is embarrassing, and not only for the maximum opening, but for the clarity and fidelity of the image rendering the same apertures and focal. The images that gives me this little gem require very few interventions in pp, if exposed well in situations not to limit the jpg come ready. Lightweight, compact, great for portraits and street ambientati interpretation (for a generic street in my opinion is a bit 'long), it would change only 28 f / 1.8G I tried and found even higher, even in the price, however, . And 'the lens that would keep if I surrenderking of everything. |

Bright, lightweight has absolutely stunning sharpness and a yummy bokeh. The sharpness suggests that Nikon has wronged the price list. For what it costs is ridiculously good. In its price range has very few rivals and is bright. Excellent color rendition and contrast, try to make a little black and white and you will tell me! Nikon, this time it's Standing Ovation! Update: A little ' out of curiosity I tried to mount it on Full Frame, with the foresight not to diaphragm over F 3.5: dreamlike and amazing results! |

Low weight with large exposure can achieve excellent blurred. It has a very good value for money. The use of Nikon D5200 and I'm very satisfied. With its ability it is very useful for those who want to learn how to do photography. Traveling is always handy as the small footprint and low weight. |
sent on August 20, 2015 Pros: Weight, luminositàrn Cons: Chromatic aberrations at the widest apertures, construction Opinion: Apart from that reported in the pros and cons, of which the "pros" are almost discounted for a lens of this type, the "against" the construction is related to the feeling very "plasticky" which offers, and focus ring minuscola.rnrnInoltre fire: but it costs so much effort to put a little window with a rough indication of the distance of at least focus ?? There are conditions in which it is useful ... but it seems that Nikon reserves this value only to the optics from 1K up |
sent on July 13, 2015 Pros: Low verament price, minimum weight and size, high brightness Cons: Purple fringing in high-contrast scenes, especially at the most open diaphragms Opinion: Good quality optics, especially if compared to its cost! Lately remains always attached to my camera, while the poor 18-105 is at home to take dust. The major flaw is the purple fringing that emerges in a difficult light situation with open diaphragms, but in most cases it is quite good. Being a very bright lens we recommend the fine adjustment of autofocus: unfortunately my model suffered from high back focus, so as not to be able to correct it in the car, having to send the goal in assistance.rnDirei that DX is a goal to absolutely have! |
sent on June 30, 2015 Pros: Sharpness, aperture Cons: only the lack of the scale of focus Opinion: After a handyman and a wide angle, I decided for the classic (corresponds to about 50mm effective). The first impression was WOW! Compared to a zoom is a whole new way to photograph! I think this lens as well as take pictures best (for sharpness, bokeh and overall quality) allows everyone to improve in creativity and composition. Today it is the lens that I use the most and I almost forgot the handyman with a thousand focal ... the photo quality of this 35mm hit me! E 'already utilizzabilissimo to f1.8, f2.8 but to become a blade for sharpness! I highly recommend it to all holders of APSC! |
sent on May 27, 2015 Pros: Clarity, weight, bokeh, price. Cons: Distortion, chromatic aberration, plastic. Opinion: I am of the opinion that the 35mm kit should not be missing in aps-c and in particular this objective, which remains as the best value for money; TA is very sharp in the center and to achieve good uniformity must close up to f4 or better 5.6. As you close the diaphragm has an annoying chromatic aberration easily eliminated in pp. Distortion is pronounced and even this can be eliminated in pp. The AF is not always guess the subject you want in focus and you may have cases of front / back focus species in TA; it is therefore necessary to intervene on the "fine tuning" of the body (if this will be provided). The construction materials do not seem of the highest quality, but you can not expect more in these figures. In conclusion I would recommend it, especially for those like me who approach the world of photography, to really learn what it means to compose a photo using your legs as zoom. Rating 9 |
sent on May 26, 2015 Pros: crisp, bokeh, light, lens hood Cons: nobody in my opinion Opinion: purchased in place of all-rounder, the plastic in the end is the same that has made my camera ... I found it very clear also to TA and fuzzy is wonderful. Being used to having a very dark lens for me has been a noticeable improvement. AF accurate, some small correction manually if the light is poor. For the negligible cost which I think is a very good optical kit for aps-c, because even with the 35mm focal length (50mm equivalent of FX) was covered in many situations so you can get out only with fixed light |
sent on May 18, 2015 Pros: Crisp, luminary, light and small Cons: No one in particular Opinion: Clear, bright, light and small. Extremely low cost. The blur is great, considering the sensor for which it is intended. I no longer see "negative" with the plastic (even if it has to be light?) - I'm sure it will last a long time anyway. It seems an obvious choice for any outfit APS-C |
sent on April 09, 2015 Pros: Price. Out of focus. Bokeh. Lightness. Lens hood included. Cons: MAF ring creepy! (Feeling of fragility, friction, loose games). Distortion more pronounced compared to 35 f2AFD. He suffers AC and flare. Opinion: If you want to manually focheggiarci, you must prepare for a terrible feeling: the ring seems to have sand in it! Apart from that RNA and some decline because of falling contrast spread (flare) and the usual AC series G-free treatment -N- I would say it is the most suitable purchase, either for those who are entering the SLR-Nikon world and not wanting to spend big money for a 35mm on APSC, and for the most demanding users. And 'light, bright, precise as AF, sharp, point, with typical silky colors of G. It' also fast enough to make us a bit 'of everything without problems, but perhaps the 35 f2 AFD is faster and I would say even clearer I .rnIo them both and choose them as appropriate. The construction of the barrel (to the MAF ring part) is excellent, well assembled with games and narrow profiles. A sensible and inexpensive purchase, for an honest lens, the ratio Q | P unparalleled. |

Bright, light (you're in your pocket ready for action), unfocused outstanding, excellent sharpness. I have used it mainly for street (although the angle of view corresponding to 52.2 mm did not excite me) or some environmental portrait. Plasticky to the touch but then for the price I can not ask for more, instead af few times I saw him a little uncertain, especially in TA; also the ring of focus right, I never liked it. Opinion: Buy it and you will not regret is great and does not cost anything. Excellent as a first target. Never mind the usual 18-55 or 18-105 that are in the kit, take the Nikon 35mm 1.8 and you'll make some beautiful images on camera bodies less demanding. This objective is often discarded by newbies because fixed and is expected to have a single focal length is rather simplistic I would recommend it to those who are just starting out and if anything they do not want to spend a lot but still find themselves with great shots. sent on September 27, 2013 Pros: sharpness, brightness, focal basis for DX format Cons: I do not like it one bit the ring of manual focus, should be provided as all the objectives of a beginning and an end, whereas this "traveling" all the time and leaves me disoriented to time so that for shooting in MF use a very old optical AI. The aesthetic is not at all beautiful but I have to be a photographer not the model shooting ... : D Opinion: What about the value for money is exceptional, if it is used then the price becomes almost ridiculous in proportion to its value! The reduced diameter of 52mm filters allows you to spend less and also for those to recover if someone had mounted filters of optical type the entry-level 18-55.rnrnin general optical consigliatissima, teaches us to see in a totally different way to zooming. |
sent on August 26, 2013 Pros: Small and cheap. Good yield already at RT. Sharp. Blurred pleasant. Cons: Chromatic aberrations Opinion: One of the first objectives of my corredo.rnrnOgni so I want to replace it in favor of a more wide-angle fixed as soon as soon as a fixed light "walking" ... but in the end is always there. And there's probably a reason. RnPiccolo, lightweight and economical ... I think it has a high value / prezzo.rnMolto bright, absolutely usable already TA, has perhaps its only real weak spot in chromatic aberrations ... however, generally nestable without too much effort in PP. |
sent on August 19, 2013 Pros: brightness, lightness, Cons: no one Opinion: a few words to describe a fantastic goal, it does its job very fast in the shots great for portraits and photos indoors and type churches, etc., during the day and so 'fast that you do not even notice that he had taken a picture, the focus is very fast I recommend it to everyone at the market price is really undercut, a lens nikon which must never be lacking in the bag of a Nikonist, solves a lot of situations and it is hard to part with when mounted |
sent on May 09, 2013 Pros: Sharpness, price, diaphragm Cons: AF somewhat inaccurate Opinion: I state now to be a beginner and this is my first Buy.I have a D300 and I come from a 18-55 ... what about comparing the autofocus is a rocket, the sharpness is excellent and above 1.8!! What can I say I highly recommend it to anyone, it is a product that is worth the money spent from first to last centesimo.Non can be missing in the arsenal of a photographer :) |
sent on April 29, 2013 Pros: Very sharp; Opening to 1.8; Robust, Quality price. Cons: The focus is not always accurate and does not shine for speed in low light conditions; Opinion: Considering the price it is a perspective that I recommend to all owners of an SLR format DX. rnrnE 'a lens that will give a lot of satisfaction to those who own an SLR DX because it has a very good image quality and when light conditions are poor is its openness comes to us (although in low light the autofocus in some occasions is a treat). rnrnNon is built with the best materials offering nikon but it is still nice to tatto.rnrnrnrnrnrnrn |
sent on April 15, 2013 Pros: incredibly low price, excellent sharpness from 2.8, very light and compattodistorsione and vignetting in the fuzzy normabuono Cons: Construction plasticky, difficult to use it in manual focus, no indication of distance, only dx1, 8 is not his best iaframma, and it shows! Opinion: Someone also uses it with a ta ff, cartoon a lot but just this peculiarity makes it interesting. From the best machine with high-resolution, and sharpness of this lens hits, such as low price obliges owners 16mpx and older to purchase it. Holds well flare, even if the star is not as convincente.rnDifficoltoso use it in the night, in manual focus do not understand where you are with the maf, the AF does not work at night to infinity if there is something well lit. |
sent on March 30, 2013 Pros: Sharpness, aperture f 1.8, weight, quality / price ratio. Cons: Autofocus is not perfect, it is a fixed lens. Opinion: I bought it to replace the 18-55 kit ... in respect of which offers an opening to f 1.8 (best used by f 2 and up) and a much higher sharpness for a very low price, about € 200. RnUn good aim to use in any situation, the only real flaw I found (but who buys it knows at the start) is that it is a fixed and in certain situations I would like to have its quality but with a few mm more or less rnNon ... you can not have everything, but definitely recommended ... |
sent on March 10, 2013 Pros: excellent sharpness even at room temperature, lightness and versatility. Cons: Construction not flawless, blurred not great, sometimes some difficulties with the maf (slow and noisy). Opinion: First drive that made me fall in love with this fantastic focal point. I've had it for over 2 years and I've taken more than 14000 times. performance and sharpness are very good even at room temperature. Lightweight and versatile, it happens sometimes (one of 4) you tube the MAF and especially embarks dust, no effect on the final result, but gives you a lot of boxes. (Among reflex lenses of the past and today, including Sigma, Tamron and Samyang is the first time) |
sent on January 23, 2013 Pros: Value for money, Sharpness, Brightness Cons: Economic aspect; Autofocus is not a splinter (although nn call it lazy Opinion: I find a lens with a great clarity .. I prefer the portrait, but I have had excellent results in the landscape (where the 35mm permit). It 's really a shame for this look a little cheap and the lack of the ring of the distances .. but the fact that costs very little in relation to what gives .. and the fact that weighs very little .. make it for me to have a view. |
sent on January 17, 2013 Pros: High clarity, good focus, lightness, brightness, and decidedly low price Cons: Ring focus, lens hood serves only ridiculous not to take shots of the lens Opinion: I purchased this lens 2 months ago, I am very well use it for landscapes, street to portraits, to the flowers and also for the photos to the starry sky in short, everything here is fine for some major advantages for me that I was accustomed to the 18-55 kit are two: The first is the large brightness (F/1.8) which I think is essential for a lens and the second is definitely alta.rnLa quality sharpening the focus ring is all ' other than exceptional and the hood is almost inutile.rnPer what it costs is a lens that I recommend to tutti.rn |
sent on November 11, 2012 Pros: Sharpness, price, brightness Cons: Lack dial distances Opinion: Highly recommended, but the lack of a defect vistosissimo distances, especially for people like me do landscape. For else has a sharpness that are the envy renowned DX zoom and excellent color rendering. It is a bit plasticky but at that price ... Visto the quality / price ratio, it would not hurt us regalasse Nikon DX maybe some other fixed angle ;) |
sent on August 30, 2012 Pros: -Sharpness-strength-brightness light-money Cons: -No aperture ring-fast autofocus Opinion: For the value for money is a lens absolutely fantastic, a must to have in your kit, I use it as a general handyman lens instead of the standard zoom ("the best zoom is your legs," he said as a famous photographer) as 18/55 or 18/105 ... bright, allows shooting handheld with low light, has a great focus and can also be used for portraits with the right precautions .. Consigliatissima to anyone who wants to venture into the world of fixed focal ... since I mounted hard I separate myself. |
sent on May 03, 2012 Pros: Sharpness very high, I almost indestructible, excellent value for money given the opening, suitable for IR photos without the presence of central halos. Short distance focus. Cons: Focus a little inaccurate, you have to be a little careful. To have a good definition must be used with aperture greater than 2. Opinion: Since I have it I use it a lot. Solves many situations where a standard zoom is not fast enough. At night you open a new world. I've used it in the rain and in the snow and simply leaving the hood, did not give any kind of problem. At that price it is a view that you always have with you. Reversed to macro creates problems due to the absence of the aperture ring but blocking the lever you get the beautiful images. |
sent on September 28, 2011 Pros: sharpness fearful, human price, solid construction, good focus, focal fac-totum Cons: not very fast autofocus, improved aesthetics, a little morbito at room temperature Opinion: un'obbiettivo great for the money, with 190 euro you take home a lens nikon original with excellent sharpness from 2.8 up, maybe too much for portraits. before 2.8 is not too bad, still much better than the 18-55 vr. quiet and fast autofocus mediamenye, solid construction, lightweight so easily trasportabille. I personally do not really like its shape |
