sent on March 17, 2024 Pros: Portability, colors, design, discretion Cons: Maybe a bit slow with the touchscreen Opinion: Coming from the Canon1Dx mark III certainly stands out for its portability. Needless to say, it's a blast to move around with her always ready in your bag, every day. Power, refinement of the materials and above all the silence, people just don't notice my presence and when it happens they see a minimal device and therefore a priori they belittle, well it's better this way. Fixed focal length, with crops that can be selected in the camera, then legs on your shoulder and you move around the subject, architecture, street, portrait and even some macro/closeup, in short, you range by genres. Simple and intuitive menu, no frills. As a battery, I always have spare ones in principle and original like every component supplied. Just adorable. |
sent on February 26, 2024 Pros: The brand and the minimal design Cons: Grip Right Sight Bezel with Flush Glass Opinion: I really wanted to take it... A bit fascinated by the brand and by the super reviews of vlogghers, I decided just before the purchase to do the test drive through the Leica store in Milan. I have to say very kind, top! Unfortunately, it wasn't love on the first date, quite the contrary. Given that I come from Sony a9m2 and 24/1.4gm and 50/1.2, I expected a "magical" performance from the 27 Leica. The lines are more under control with the 24 Gm Sony, the compensation wheel is very uncomfortable and without grip in general it does not hold with maneuverability. The evf is of excellent quality and also oled. In this case I didn't find it because the glass is flush with the body so for those like me who are used to always seeing "inside the camera" it is slightly annoying to have light around the eye or feel the eyelashes resting on it. The dng files are 80 megabytes and cannot be compressed like in Sony. I was looking for a compact FF to keep with me at all times. Not very small, but not big either, the Q2 is not exactly portable in terms of weight and size ... better a x100VI... Ultimately, I was not convinced by the value for money. Of course, a lot of quality (certified tropicalization) on tangible materials and construction. " Normal " performance for 2024 machines. Spending almost 4000€ for a good used car (under Leica warranty) of this type is only for fans of the brand or for those looking for a more reflective type of photography. Spending less on an out-of-warranty product was advised against by sellers. According to them, for a small problem, they can ask for even €1500 from Germany. |
sent on February 21, 2024 Pros: Unique quality, practicality and simplicity of the software Ergonomics, robustness, Cons: The price (but you know it first..) I haven't found any. Opinion: After having used in many (too many ..) years optical benches, hassellblad, Japanese medium formats, Bronica, Mamyia, pentax, Fuji 6x9 rangefinder, Leica analog R3 / R4 with many optics, NIKON (the legendary ... from F onwards...... Canon F1 etc also the BEAUTIFUL OLYMPUS Om1 with its best optics. I went back to Leica Con Q2 (found almost new with 2500 shots at a reasonable price) and was impressed with the quality of this gem. I have rediscovered the taste of photography, especially after having used the Fuji APSC system with both Xpro3 and XT5 and the best optics, but there is no story Leica remains unique, the photos are razor-sharp at all the apertures of the summilux and churns out three-dimensional files FOR HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE IN COLORS AND IN ALL ITS ASPECTS. There are no comparisons with the other Brandts. Soon it will be Q3 and M system |
sent on June 01, 2023 Pros: Amazing optical quality, compact, light, stabilized, perfect menus and buttons and AF suitable for not too fast use, good interaction with Photos app. Personally then I find it beautiful (I chose the Reporter version) in the Leica panorama has an exceptional price / performance ratio. Cons: It lacks a second SD, has a bad lens cover, the quality of the Jpeg is not great the monitor is fixed. The new Q3 is superior from many points of view but the fact that the new one is better does not make the old version worse Opinion: It is one of the cameras I use the most and is perfectly suited for my photographic preferences, only for architectural shots the 28mm focal length is sometimes too limited but for those I go to M10r with the 21mm. I find the crop in the room very comfortable with the luminous handsets as with the beloved M and very valid both the viewfinder and the monitor (apart from the fact that it is fixed). It is very quiet and minimally invasive. A handbag, camera, a couple of extra batteries and you can turn the. world! |
sent on May 25, 2023 Pros: Compactness, objective quality, FF, materials used. Cons: Only one SD card, cost (although now prices are falling given the release of Q3). - battery cost. Opinion: Already owner of Leica Q that I sold, I found a Q2 practically new at a price (given the release of the Q3 shortly) that I could not take. I consider it beautiful, superlative image quality. Compared to the Q first series the sensor is much better, the focus is also improved. For those who buy it, I recommend it, since prices are falling due to the imminent release of Q3. Excellent Reportage machine. |
sent on April 04, 2023 Pros: File, all-in-one camera, tropicalization, C4K, optical stabilization Cons: ergonomics, viewfinder, focal length, battery life, USB-C port missing Opinion: With this car it was love and hate from the first day, a lot of love and positive points but also some flaws. I state that I used it for work, I deal purely with product and I bought it as attracted by the 28mm and its being basically a compact. The sensor and optics need no introduction: it is objectively the best compact on the market. The Macro function combined with a high-end assembly quality (Sony, Canon and Fujifilm put together if they dream of it) and a very good lens stabilization make it a very versatile machine. The "problem", at least for me, has been identified more than anything else in the real focal length of this lens: it is full of online feedback that attests to its being practically a 24mm, which added to the viewfinder and battery life quantifies the real moles I found. As for ergonomics it is evident that it is not its forte, I have remedied by buying original grip and finger loop with which the machine becomes practically the extension of your wrist, but take into account to make it lose a bit of grace in the lines. Someone will get a gastritis read it but this machine on VIDEO, despite the limitations at the level of ports (not present), manages to churn out very interesting files (even in C4K), it is to keep in mind especially for emergencies such as body-C or traveling. I will not talk about prices or how much it is or is not justified, I will just say this: from my experience I am of the opinion that it is the Leica of wannabe photographers or rather for those who want a Leica but do not want to have temptations or additional costs. My work needs combined with its being too "digital" and modern helped convince me to sell it. I hope that the Q3 will have a version with a 40-50mm sooner or later, would be nice! |
sent on August 09, 2022 Pros: file quality, detail, lightness, solidity, blurry, colors, menus Cons: Precise but not very fast AF, held above iso 3200 Opinion: I have this car for a year now, it was a challenge for me, I still have a Sony kit (A7R3) but I wanted to make the leap and ... I fell in love with it. I use it as a second room for the large at weddings, and for the rest ... when I go around it made me want to photograph again, to get involved. The 28mm is a lens that I had never evaluated and at the beginning it was love and hate but now I can not do without her: it is minimal, compact, very comfortable to use, lightweight, has an exceptional file quality and incredible detail even at full aperture. But the most important thing is that from addiction, it pushes you to move to compose and you become one with the machine, it is a strange feeling to describe but everything is in the right place (and customizable) there are no unnecessary frills, a thousand buttons ... and just this setting makes you go back to thinking about the shot, it is a machine that is good for everything, from travel to portraits (yes I said portraits), perfect for the street, it costs a lot, a lot, and maybe an X100f that costs a fifth is more "reasoned" but here we talk about a completely different machine, with me it had an incredible impact and made me re-evaluate the way I shoot, I took it used at 3900 euros and I must say that it was perhaps the best purchase in the photographic field that I have ever made. |
sent on March 15, 2022 Pros: LEICA Q2 REPORTER dark olive green... aesthetically beautiful, handy, fully automatic or fully manual, excellent viewfinder, silent, stabilized, bright optics... Cons: ... a little love and a little disappointment, nice files but not too much .. Opinion: Love at first sight, love in the first photos, in short, when you love too much you do not see the limits and with difficulty I began to squeeze the car beyond the limits, a lot, and then slowly return to more canonical parameters but ... gradually. In short, I found limits immediately close to almost normal "" settings. Disappointed by BANDING already present at low sensitivities in shadow areas, from 400 ISO, I did not dare to investigate less. loss of sharpness in areas not even very peripheral ... I question myself... surely it is also mine the defect .?! I AWAIT ANSWERS AND COMMENTS, WITH CAUSE |
sent on November 22, 2021 Pros: Aesthetics, built almost entirely of noble metal, image quality (even at high sensitivities), refinement of manual focus, rationality and relative simplicity of settings, protection from dust and moisture with a lot of certification. Splendid the metal hood that screws with a setback and equally splendid the "vintage" metal cap. Cons: The keys do not seem to me to be made of metal. Cost of flash! Shoulder strap not quite up to par although elegant. Like all highly energy-intensive mirrorless cameras, you need a spare battery. Opinion: As a "leicist" now of long course but, alas, not being able to count on a large spending capacity I have long meditated on the purchase of this camera also because I exchanged it (but with relative adjustment) with my splendid Leica M6 collector's item with Summicron 50. I took advantage of the courtesy of my reference store (Ottica Centrale Vicenza) which allowed me to try, in addition to the Q2, also the digital M series and the Leica SL2. I will try to explain the reasons why Q2 came out on top. First of all, from a stylistic point of view, the references to the M series are well recognized although, it will be objected, there is no longer the legendary rangefinder! Yes, the rangefinder is no longer there but, in my opinion, at the current state of autofocus technology this refined, symbolic device of the brand, fascinating and expensive has become (quoting the lawyer Agnelli) anti-historical and anti-technical. The autofocus of the mirrorless is extraordinary: it allows the coverage of almost the entire frame with recognition and tracking of the subject unthinkable until a few years ago and various other "customizations" of great utility and that the Q2 allows a high level of speed, precision and simplicity of settings! A note of particular merit I reserve to the manual focus: meanwhile the lens ring is beautifully frictioned and in the excellent electronic viewfinder is, for a few seconds, enlarged the central part of the image: precision and ease of use! Beautiful!! To the touch I detect a lower "density" than the legendary M6 but magnesium alloys are precisely less dense than zinc, brass ... but no less resistant. As for the optical aspect well, what can I say, it certainly does not disappoint! There have been some remarks about the fact that the Summilux 28 is not a "real" summilux because historically this designation in the Leica house was reserved for lenses with a maximum aperture f1.4 but, I must say, the yield is from Summilux with the detachment of the out-of-focus planes that recalls very much the classic f1.4. Fully satisfied also with the quality of JPEGS. Considering that the machine is also equipped with a central mechanical shutter and therefore synchronized with flash up to 1/500s the fact of paying almost € 500 for the Leica SF40 derived from Nissin is very penalizing!! But somehow the flash must have it to take advantage of this excellent feature! As far as the field of use of Q2 is concerned, I believe that only remote action photography and birdlife are precluded. In the other genres he juggles great! The sensor seems excellent to me and holds up well even sensitivity up to 6400 asa with little noise (where the luminance one prevails). Finally, I just have to face the vexed quaestio of the cost: in absolute terms it may seem very high but, in relative terms, with this price you have a full frame photocamenra with almost 50 MP sensor, tropicalized, with ultra bright wide-angle lens beautifully stabilized, interamenre made of metal with a splendid EVF and a sensational image quality and with reasonably contained dimensions and weight! If for those who read it costs too much... well, for me not. RATING: 9,8 |
sent on November 01, 2021 Pros: File quality, crop, menu simplicity, price hold. Cons: Tropicalized but not completely free from dust infiltration. For certain types of professionals it cannot be the only choice Opinion: I sold a Sony mirrorless kit to buy it used, still under warranty. The first, great change compared to the past is the rendering of colors: finally real and not postponed. Huge files have great quality, while remaining a little less workable than the most popular mirrorless. The 28mm is a very beautiful lens, suitable for generalist use. Portraits can be made, but set and preferably keeping the subject in the center of the frame to avoid distortions that, although minimal, can not but exist in a wide angle. I would not go back, for an amateur photographer to have a compact quality without weights and bulk of the lenses I think is the best. For those who want to spend less and approach a similar conception of photography there is Fuji. On the question of price, it is useless to deny that it is an expensive product even if with the guaranteed used you can save. In the end you spend more or less the same amount compared to a mirorless canon, sony nikon plus a top of the range lens. I conclude, mandatory to buy a second battery, cost about 150 euros. |
sent on August 11, 2021 Pros: perceived quality, optical quality, operating speed, af, excellent manual focus, operational simplicity, excellent viewfinder, intuitive menu Cons: inability to choose a flashy sticker, flash system with few options of choice, difficulty finding third-party accessories Opinion: Macchio illustrates, as ferrari, Bugatti, Aston martin :-) However, it is also a machine that uses all modern technology, applied to a purely photographic style. It is a project made by those who understand photography and makes simple the operations that serve the street photographer the most. It maintains the feeling of the M series but does not give up the advantages of the technology that characterizes the mirrorless: antepirima, excellent monitor and viewfinder. It is possible to use with the immediacy of the machines of the past, using analog rings and appreciating the immediacy of the M function and also of the manual focus, with rapidity of the ring, metric scale, ease and immediacy in switching from af to MF. It enjoys the electronic shutter that reaches 1/40000 (but we found a bag that I hope they can solve: in A and P it only reaches 1/16000, while the 40 thousandth is reached in S or M. The menu is the most minimal you can find on a modern mirrorless, but there is everything, only that organized in a rational way. Good battery life (in a single session I got to exceed 500 shots), but better to equip yourself with a second one. The optical quality is superb, even if it does not send some shade of flare backlight (a minimal thing cmq). 47 MPX are many and allow you to use the cropping function with very comfortable frames that allow you to shoot "as if" you had a 35, 50 and 75 mm available, still maintaining a good resolution, sufficient for almost any usual eventuality. doing 2 accounts (optical quality mounted fixed on a valuable body) can even be said not too home (an M with 28 certainly costs more). Great for the street I would have liked a dedicated flash system: not that there is not, but the compact flashes are not very powerful, the powerful ones are large and only the flagship model allows the use of the trigger. They are then built by third parties and rebranded Leica (coj oblbigata branding and price appropriate to the name). I solved following rockwell's suggestion: I tulizzo to the need an SF24 that on the used is quite affordable, ratherpotent but also compact. For convenience I also use it with cable detached from the camera body using a Nikon cable for analog TTL flashes. Finally I would have liked to replace the red sticker, very showy, with a black one, but on this leica model it does not offer the possibility. I put some black tape on it to cover it |
sent on July 02, 2021 Pros: File quality, especially raw, very workable. Cons: Fixed screen. If you also use the thumbs up, you cannot mount an LED bead on the sled. Opinion: Not excessively bulky, handy (with grip and thumbs up you have a very firm grip), built with valuable materials and able to offer files of exceptional quality. Note the lack of the adjustable screen that would have allowed unusual shooting and the impossibility of using an LED bead if in the presence of the thumbs up. |
sent on July 02, 2021 Pros: all Cons: for me nothing considering that's a compact Opinion: I have a high-quality Sony kit including the Sony A7RIV with a wholly 61 megapixels. But I needed a handbag camera, a high-quality compact to essentially make street of small weight and size. After a quick search here on Juza I had no hard time finding her. The Leica Q2, at least with its features, was the only one that could respond to my wishes. The price, however, was high, so before buying it I went to Leica to try it, two hours available, I needed one to understand that those 5000 euros were not due to the famous brand, but actually to the great quality of the camera in question. In 760 grams I had incredible potential in my hand. The camera with the indisputable material and aesthetics not comparable to any of the other brands, essential and simple in functions in rings and menus. Possibility of crop at 35, 50 and 75mm, the latter that I never use. Keep in mind that the crop at 50 mm always weighs 15 mb so excellent as quality. When using the crop in the fantastic viewfinder and on the display appears the entire frame with a frame that marks the limits of the mm. Chosen. The jpeg comes out cropped as it appears in the Camera Play the raw format (DGN) always appears framed but with the possibility of widening the margins up to the entire 28mm. Up to 3200 iso holds very well then alas you go directly to 6400 without middle ways, if not automatically. at 4/5000 iso surely it would still have been a great file. The fast and impeccable Af contrasted with Hd contrasts with jpegs that are more than acceptable. A very quiet shot, it doesn't have the double slot, but we are talking about a compact and I with a 128gb card I am doing great. The battery, renewed compared to the older sister holds very well. With the grip that I have mounted on it I hold it wonderfully in my hand, or there is the possibility to attach a ring finger to hold it hanging in my hand without the danger of it going to the ground. Do we want to talk about the lens? A summilux 28mm f/1.7, I assure you you could not want more!. It has the diaphragm ring directly on the lens like the old targetss and also has the macro function!! The colors are real very natural. Tropicalized, which for a compact is not for everyone and then an excellent stabilization in the car. It's exciting to hold it, which I didn't experience with any other nikon olympus and sony cameras even with a 40mm F/1.2 voilgtander hanging on it. It has a charm of its own and when you shoot in B&W I assure you it seems to be back in time. 10 and praise!!! |
sent on October 26, 2020 Pros: unparalleled construction quality, image quality and chromatic fidelity, aesthetics, summilux lens Cons: Missing double SD slot Opinion: No-frills machine, a bit like all Leica, built and cared for in every detail and not comparable to machines from other brands. Starting from the look for me beautiful up to any key and ring that returns a different feeling from that of other cameras. It is born for those who want to shoot with a lens only without too many distractions and too many functions, few rings, a few keys and greater concentration on the shot that goes "sweaty" and that when it is right returns you a file that leaves you speechless. I decided to take it after a path for me started with the micro 4/3 format and passed for a sony a7III where I used almost exclusively a fixed lens that was cold, without a soul, with certainly excellent rows but that sometimes left me perplexed by the colors. With the Leica inquadri (with an excellent OLED viewfinder) and you see the reality.. |
sent on August 23, 2020 Pros: The summilux lens that mounts, file quality, robustness, ergonomics, EVF sight, extreme handling of the DNG file Cons: nobody in my opinion Opinion: If you tell you that you have a machine with non-interchangeable fixed optics and then tell its cost, people give up and are ready to criticize. Of course, they are people who evidently stop at the "heard of". They would just try it for a few hours and then look at the photos well to convince themselves otherwise. In my review there is little to add beyond what has already been written by the other owners of this great camera. I can only add that, for those who love 28mm optics, the Q2 is a "must have", plus 35mm crop churns out 30mpx files (not to be believed!) The very, but very positive thing I've found is that the native DNG file, when you choose to crop in the car, in post-production Lightroom makes you see it based on the chosen crop, but keeps the native portion of the 28mm and if you want you can make further changes. Great thing. My vote is a nice 10 and praise! |
sent on August 18, 2019 Pros: file quality, sharpness, dynamic range, resistance to isO highs, WB Strepibly effective. Lightning autofocus, faithful and exciting colors... pretty much everything, the perfect machine. Cons: Nothing... maybe the iso scale that doesn't allow you to select intermediates except automatically Opinion: I finally bought it and i achieved my dream. since I own it I can not do without and I have completely abandoned my professional Canon kit (5d mk3 with optical L series). It's a great car. has it all, the photos it churns out are responsive to the visual reality in a disarming way. however, it is unnecessary to talk about technical data and performance. you have to look at the photos and they are amazing!!!! ... vote 10 and praise |
sent on August 13, 2019 Pros: Silence, Autofocus, Image Quality, Sensor, Tropicalization, Scope, Manual Focus Cons: High price, Missing double slot Opinion: I bought it to replace the older sister and ended up replacing the Fuji that I used to make up for the focal deficiencies of the previous one. It is perfect for those who report and want to have everything in one machine. It's also great for "streeters. A couple of well-placed buttons, two or three jays in the right place, an optic that you can't take off (but you'll never take away), an excellent electronic viewfinder and a fast and powerful electronics, the silent central shutter. I shot with the car at a span from a person's ear, with the mechanical shutter, without them noticing. If you're a street photographer, you probably appreciate (in addition to the focal length) its responsiveness and speed. If you're a reporter, too. Along with these also the fact that you can use the dials to set the values of the camera, when you use it as I do in manual and to be able to understand only by looking at it from above what shooting values you have set. An essential system, which has limitations, but which in the field of Street Photography and Reportage has specific advantages. Convenience of use, speed, image quality, essentiality, simplicity, substance. When it comes to focus by hand, the Q returns an experience that for solidity, fluidity and pleasantness, reminds a little (from a distance) of the Leica "aunts" on the range. Compared to the previous model I find tropicalization interesting and I appreciate the new sensor: that is a bomb. 47 Mpx that on this camera (which makes digital crops a working tool) allow pushed crop up to almost "tele" focals. In fact, the 75mm eq frame has been added that returns images of almost 8 mpx, while with 50 mpx crops are 16, with 35-mpx crops are 32 mpx and (without crop) to 28 megapixels are 47. Useful, for the feature for which the camera was designed. Battery life (which is now the lucky one of the SL) has definitely increased. There is some flaw: it costs dearly, because 4800 euros are not few, but a flagship of another house with above a 28 mm of the highest quality would not cost much less; it doesn't have the double memory slot and forces me to use aches to duplicate the card on the fly every time I photograph something important. For a reportage use, perhaps, the double slot would have had a reason to be there. |
sent on July 30, 2019 Pros: Optical quality, file quality, raw output in DNG, build quality, certified tropicalization, design, ease of use, simplicity of menus and controls, stabilizer Cons: I'd say nothing, maybe for the more demanding a little extra buffer. Opinion: I bought it as a replacement for the already excellent Q, who made 80k shots without ever missing a beat. What to say, the Q2 is the exact refinement of the Q. The improvements are there and they are not cheap, the new sensor is stratospheric, both as a detail and as a color rendering that in my opinion remains unsurpassed, no digital makes so (this also applies to the Q). The lens, which is the same as the previous version, continues to be an absolute excellence. Tropicalization, exceptionally, should be the school for many other manufacturers. The stabilizer also works great and is in many cases very useful. Long story short, the Q and especially the Q2 is arguably the best camera I've ever used. The price, which in absolute value is high, in my opinion is justified by the fact that with 5k euros you take a full frame body with in front of a summilux optics of the highest level. Doing two counts is however in line with other brands (for example it would be the same amount that you spend on a 7rIV with 24 1.4 GM) with the difference that the quality and the Leica yield in my opinion are insurmountable and unmistakable (who owns it I'm sure will understand what and I say). |
sent on June 09, 2019 Pros: Stellar optical quality, light, tropicalized, flawless viewfinder, very fast autofocus, makes the same photos of a M quickly. Cons: Some would say "the price". But a Ferrari cannot cost a little. And this Q2 is the Ferrari of the cameras. Opinion: I had the Q and I changed it to Q2. At first I criticized those who had made a similar choice; I wondered what was the point of changing an almost perfect camera to add a few pixels or some more gadgets. Now I don't think so. The Q is the ideal camera for street photography; Handy, lightweight, fast AF, simple and intuitive menu, superlative viewfinder, full-frame, stellar optics and even "m-like" cornicettes in the viewfinder. But evidently the adjective "ideal" for the Leica was not enough; You wanted absolute perfection. And then the Q2 was born. A sensor with over 42mpx, to be able to cross "in the room" up to the equivalent focal length of 75mm (a 75mm f/1.7!), new long-life battery, still improved viewfinder, even more essential commands (such as those of the M10), 4K video and... Tropicalization. Now there's no one there. Accattativilla (It costs just under €5000!, but it is worth all). |
sent on June 08, 2019 Pros: Practically perfect Cons: DX Wheel Hard to use Opinion: I had the Q... Wonderful but had three flaws: 1) If you "Croppavi" a file remained a very definite photo but the size of a stamp; 2) You had to have at least a spare battery 3) If it started raining or there was a lot of dust in the air were problems. Today I have the Q2... And the three problems have been solved! The files are so large that if you make cuttings also very important, you still have a good file size. The new battery lasts a whole day the car is tropicalized just enough. Maybe it's the perfect car... Image quality, definition, three-dimensionality Leica are guaranteed. It's true, it costs a lot, but worth all the money |
sent on May 04, 2019 Pros: All Cons: Right Wheel Opinion: With this machine I hope to have finished the monkey from upgrade equipment, it really has everything I wanted. The only flaw until now is the DX wheel that I use to vary the exposure compensation is a bit ' too far from the thumb socket. Also carry it around holding it with a hand is not very easy even if the skin has a good grip, compared to the Fuji XT2 that I had is much more uncomfortable. For the rest nothing to say |
sent on April 28, 2019 Pros: Quality ' constructive, fantastic optics, charm Cons: Probably don't live up to finding Opinion: Fantastic machine, light, minimal, few commands but you have everything you need, the files that churn out are fantastic, the ' optical quality of the Sumilux 28 is perhaps even more emphasized by the new sensor. The machine is very fast despite the very heavy files that you have to manage. A note of excellence is the EVF I arrived from Optical viewlights (1DX) and this is the only one that did not make me regret.. I had tried fast the MR of Canon and Sony and Nikon but but in my opinion none of the three has an EVF of this level. Only one slot for the Sd for me is not a problem the rest has so many other merits.. Expensive... Well get a perspective of this quality on a Sony 7RIII and on a Nikon Z7 I think is far from more ' economical you can not change the true optics.. But you will never want to change it. Less is more |
sent on March 29, 2019 Pros: maniacal Construction., brand charm, objective quality, simplicity of use. Cons: I can't afford It Opinion: I tried it at the Leica Store in Rome for an hour in the rain. What to say, already after the first shots I understood that I had in my hands an object so desired by many including me, which was a fear also for the fact that I took alone with the neck a compact 4800 euros. Immediately after the first shots I came into tune with Q2 and I discovered the ease of its use. Interesting frames for cropping 35/50/75. Excellent for Street, you have to get close to the subject, in fact you have to enter the subject, rediscovering the fascination of photography of the past. Charming bewitching. |
sent on March 26, 2019 Pros: Few frills, bright lens, stabilization, size, battery life Cons: Lack of a second slot Opinion: Withdrawn last Saturday in the Leica Store in Bologna. Socket to flank the Nikon Z7 which I use mainly with 35 and 50mm but that has dimensions we say generous. Use What I'll do with Q2: Street. What struck me: 1. The absence of so many frills that I found on many other machines, light menus and few commands well placed 2. The speed AF... Impressive 3. The Luminous Lens 4. The yield in all the conditions of brightness and the tightness at high ISO 5. Battery Life (now that of the SL).... It never runs out, Sunday I was finished and the battery still had a notch. What I do not like: A. The lack of the second slot that makes you feel all right because the RAW files occupy space (of average we are around 80Mb each). Switching from automatic to manual is simple and setting hyperfocal or focus zone and then dedicating itself to the composition is a breeze. Having the personalized menu as the first screen after pressing the button is a gem to which I will hardly give up. There is No button for video shooting but it switches between photos and videos or with the touch screen or by pressing the button in the center of the control Knob. I Think I will never use it since I didn't take it for the videos. We move to crop of 35-50-75 mm by pressing a small key... convenient and the yield at 35 mm is still great (30 Mpx I had not them on XH1), a good 50 mm to 75 mm just to see the pictures on video. I Have to get used to the 28mm, but it is a stimulus to think only of photography and not the rest. What about.... Satisfied and also very much. I Vote 9.5 only for the lack of the second slot. |
May Beauty Be Everywhere Around Me
