Pros: – high resolution – excellent image quality – fast and precise autofocus with wide coverage – excellent burst speed – excellent quality construction and finish – body and lenses protected from dust and water – convenient and easily accessible main external controls – excellent electronic viewfinder – good quality and brightness lenses – excellent film simulation mode and color rendering – effective stabilization – simple and clear menus (see defects, however)

Cons: – white balance not always accurate – some configuration options in the menus difficult to find – lack of a built-in flash – some large and heavy lenses such as fullframe

Opinion: First of all, a great feeling of quality of the camera body that makes use very pleasant to the touch and also to the eye. The autofocus is excellent and with the new processor it has made a significant upgrade. Great quality oled viewfinder... really good! At first impression the 40mp are at the limit even if I must say that I expected much worse... In reality, up to 3200ISO noise is handled excellently. The jpeg quality of the fuji, in combination with the film profiles, remains fully and is always fantastic. The stabilization is remarkable but coming from an XS10 I didn't perceive a big difference... we were already at excellent levels! The battery seems very performing (here I detected a super upgrade...:) ). In terms of weight we are at the limit but acceptable (the lenses are much lighter and less expensive than in the full frame world ... I think that going further would lead to the field of "full-frame" and we would therefore lose the big weight advantage of the APSC world while maintaining the economic advantage (much lower body/lens prices...)! Excellent construction and finish: the X-H2 is well built and finished, made of magnesium alloy and protected from dust and water. Excellent ergonomics and controls: all controls are easily understandable and reachable even with an eye to the viewfinder. The only note is the suppression of the lever to switch the focus from single to continuous and manual replaced by a much less practical button. Very good menu: they are simple and quite clear, except for some options that are difficult to find. Viewfinder Excellent: it has excellent brightness and resolution. Allows you to use menus and control exposure adjustments. Very good screen: the resolution is adequate for viewing menus and reviewing photos. Like all screens, it is hardly visible outdoors during the day. The function to select the AF points by touch is very convenient even with the eye on the viewfinder. Optimal autofocus: it is fast and fast even for moving subjects and ensures wide coverage of the frame. In burst shooting at 15 fg/s it has proven to be effective even if it is better to use the narrow area. Also great for video shooting. Very good exposure: it is excellent in good light even if in situations of strong contrast it favors the lights (excellent if you work in raw) producing jpegs that are difficult to read in the shadows. Good white balance: In automatism it has almost always proven to be correct, except in artificial light where, in some cases, it gives too warm results that need to be corrected. Excellent image quality: especially for resolution and definition, but also for noise containment at high sensitivities, especially when using raw and converting photos with CaptureOne. Excellent burst: 15 fg/s in raw plus jpeg are a lot for a 40 Mpx APS sensor. Great video: Shoots 8K, 6.2K, and Cine 4K videos. The socket for an external microphone, for headphones and the HDMI output for an external monitor or recorder are useful. Good battery: the autonomy has improved and you can reach about 540 shots and 720 in energy saving mode. The price is appropriate to its qualities. What can I say... definitely recommended! Well done Fujifilm!

Pros: Robust, a real flagship, finally autofocus worthy of the name in Fuji. Articulated screen.

Cons: Not detected yet. Articulated screen.

Opinion: I've been using xh2 for 2 weeks, as a term of comparison at Fuji I have an xt4, leaving aside the structural differences of the two cameras I have to say that in terms of operating speed, autofocus and quality of the images produced the progress made is very evident. The change really deserves it. Up to 3200 ISO the two sensors behave in a similar way, going beyond ISO the xt4 has a slight advantage. I'm not going to list all the merits and features that we are all able to read from the product sheet. I think Fuji with the xt5, xh2, xh2s series has created a watershed between the before and after. Certainly as a t4 owner I'm happy with the upgrade. I included the articulated screen both as a Pro and as a Cons factor, perhaps I would have preferred a tilting door like the one of the t5 more comfortable for photographic use, even if I like being able to turn the monitor upside down protecting it from accidental bumps.

Pros: High solidity feeling, good autofocus, beautiful viewfinder, excellent video features. Top ergonomics. CFExpress Type B support.

Cons: Impossible to adjust the ISO through any wheel, exposure height only from menu, non-clickable dials. Autofocus to improve.

Opinion: This is the first BigMpixel with aps-c sensor and despite some weaknesses related to youth, we are in the presence of a large machine with a splendid sensor. The camera body is perfect, it grips wonderfully and gives the impression of being a tank, built very well. for those with very large hands, you can add a battery grip, or an L-shaped bracket that, in my case, in addition to easily allowing me the vertical composition, solves the problem of the little finger "dangling". The menus are quite comfortable, well organized, although I preferred the photo / video switch on the X-T4, I do not understand why they removed it was very convenient and after Fuji, others have adopted the same practical solution. Really nice viewfinder, if possible, even more fluid and natural than the already excellent one present on the X-T4. Autofocus good but not excellent, on fast animals, if I want a nice percentage of shots in focus, I have to fall back on the sister X-H2s that does this job very well. The burst is a little castrated, I suppose also for the slowness of the autofocus module, slowness in recalculation that is noticeable on fast subjects. The image quality is the best I've ever seen on aps-c, we are very close to the level of the Sony A7RIII that I have had for so long. Finally I can crop in those situations where the subject is too far away and in those cases where I love to focus on detail (for example in macros). Obviously at high ISO (> 6400) it suffers much more than a full frame, but today with the new software, the problem is mitigated a lot (I use DXO Deep Prime). The new color profiles are very nice, while I do not understand the choice to keep the toy filters, absolutely useless. For those who want to play with images, there are thousands of apps made on purpose. The video part I know very little, but it seems really very high, in particular the 8k, I will take the whim to make some videos to the animals. Excellent buffer that allows you to make bursts too long, in the end you are easily having to analyze many images, I suppose it is also thanks to the CFExpress card. Excellent also the stabilization that, for me, is superior to the X-T4, here you get really high levels, even for the video side. Quite interesting is the decent usability of the electronic shutter even if the machine has a rather poor readout time. I almost forgot that I had the mechanical one that I only use for very fast shots. We come to the cons that are there. The first and it is a very stupid thing, the ISO button does not adjust except by pressing a button, who knows what science will be needed to be able to assign it to a wheel ... mah Another stupid, with the X-T4 the rings are clickable and it is a very convenient thing, it makes the machine fast even for those who prefer a system completely based on the rings. Click and choose the aperture, click and choose the ISO, cool. Now they have removed it with the excuse of better waterproofing and then put it back on the X-T5. Similar speech for the ironing of the exposure, you choose only from the menu and there is no way to assign it to some key, less than less to a ring. Apart from these things that could be solved with firmware updates, the machine is promoted with flying colors.

Pros: Excellent construction material, excellent ring key, excellent small screen above, tank robustness, excellent extra card option, when it comes to my criticism thickness perhaps better done in this way for the reason overheating, excellent possibility extra fan for very long video photography without risk of overheating, also excellent ISO now start at ISO 64 the base 125 ISO.

Cons: Machine Body a can little depth and slightly too thick, perhaps the possibility of certain internal elaborations. You need record-breaking lenses as resolution to have maximum benefit, the Fujifilm problem also professional f2.8 zooms were built 8/9 years ago when still 16 MP X-T1 passed many years but have not been updated and are not optimized for 40 MP sensors.

Opinion: Arrived yesterday and today made a can of tests. First my impression the robust camera body in my opinion as dimensions according to a can shallow and a little too thick. I prefer to photograph with the Dispay closed from this point really excellent with the control over small screen the viewfinder beautiful bright excellent the various keys I would say are perfect I find the ring with setting from C1 up to C7 great to customize so or set various automatic ISO options I would say very useful. The extra card option CF card type B I find great increases greatly when need more machine buffer. Another Fujifilm dilemma on the optics agree all the optics improve but the differences are considerable currently recently Fuji to built four fixed lenses thought to exploit as much as possible the 40 MP sensor otherwise the speech approaches or exceeds the FF system remains distorted the quality should be comparable to the Nikon Z7 but only with very few optics.

Pros: Ergonomics, buffer, dual CF / SD slots, viewfinder, articulated screen, video resolution, iso considering the sensor (see also in the cons), significantly improved autofocus, colors, dynamic range, battery life.

Cons: I don't feel like I've found any other than things you know when you take an APSC with 40mpxl.. Maybe I would have kept at least the exposure compensation ring and the "classic, fast and intuitive" focus mode selector.

Opinion: Taken in combination with 16-80 and 100-400 to have a "basic" kit for travel reportage and above all nature photography and birdlife. The af is on another planet than the previous fuji and I say this with extreme conviction having owned practically all the xtXX and xtX. I imagine and hope that fuji will want to further improve AF performance (which in some few cases are not "very precise") with the next firmware... but for now nothing so 'serious ... We are on very low "error" percentages and after two months of use I can say that I have understood the occasions when the AF makes mistakes and therefore where to intervene to change the mode and the result is always very satisfactory. In my opinion and 'more' suitable this for the photo nature and birdlife that the xh2s ... that will have better AF performance (but not too much) but does not allow you to use the crop "in complete safety" as you can do with this camera that, at the same time, also allows you bursts of all respect and unthinkable a few years ago even on top-of-the-range models in the world of SLRs. In the hand it looks like a weapon for how solid it is and gives its own sense of something durable and resistant .... something that I have never encountered in any other mirrorless tried, had or even just handled. In short, for me the h2s is the REAL allround of Fujifilm ... No castration as in XT5... all at the top (in its category) At the video level I got really exceptional results with a good stabilization (not excellent ...) even at 400mm freehand. Combined with the 100-400 you go around with a lens f5.6 a TA and 600mm equivalent... multipliable without loss of detail for only "100 gr" more.... For everything else there is an entire fuji optical park to meet every need... Not to mention the third-party lenses that on this machine seem in some cases to go better than the "original" ones ..... in short, and 'all yet to be discovered .... But if this is the road Fuji has taken.... well... it really hit the mark!

Pros: Camera body.viewfinder quality jpeg and raw. Autofocus

Cons: For now nothing

Opinion: I went from fuji xt4 to fuji xh2. Another autofocus story at sony canon levels. Fuji colors with 40 mb remain beautiful sharp. I like how you hold it in your hand. Amazing tracking big jump from previous versions of fuji. Battery life and good. Raw files of circha 85 mb but they are very workable and churns out very nice jpegs with many settings before shooting. Aprezzato very new simulation film nostalgic. Video side I have not tried yet, but for now I can say vote 10

Pros: Image quality and build quality at the highest level.

Cons: Body slightly limited in height.

Opinion: Ultimate aps-c machine. Able to do everything and very well, with a practically perfect AF, an excellent viewfinder and a more common iso rendering simply stunning. I have had all the T series and also the H1, and I can confirm that this is of a higher category. Even without the famous, (and beautiful) T-series rings, the ease of use is perfect. The new sensor reproduces beautiful colors and very extended dynamic range, in addition to the 5 real stops of stabilization. I was able to compare it with my Sony A7IV and the differences are almost imperceptible. The only slightly negative point, but it is my problem that I have very large hands, is, as for my A7IV, the body limited in height, so the little finger tends to escape underneath. I immediately solved with a Smallrig board and, in the face of a minimal increase in weight and size, it is now also perfect as ergonomics. Awesome machine, rated 10!
