Tested together with a mark II in a shop, as soon as I put my eye in the viewfinder the indecision vanished... the extra 250 euros was worth them all, another world compared to the very honorable mk II. Starting from the double slot, the tropicalization, passing through a REAL AF, ending on a more than decent burst, not even remotely comparable to the ISO hold (I had already used a friend's mk II and consequently I still have the files). All things that make it a definitive machine even if dated for amateur use and beyond, capable in my opinion of satisfying weddings as well as for sports or birdlife rather than simple portraits in the studio or with natural light. Excellent in combination with the very sharp 24-105 is stm, unfortunately a bit dark at 105 (in reality it does not lose anything thanks to the excellent stabilization that allows slower times than that for example of the L series f / 4) but which on the other hand makes up for it on the colors, excelled without smudges ... always splendid even with cheaper optics.

It allows you to shoot even in critical light conditions, with ISO you can easily go up to 3200 without any particular deterioration. The result is brought home with dignity. Quick autofocus in locking on to the subject and sufficiently fast the burst. Like all PRO and FF cameras, the 5d Mk3 is at its best with professional, bright and quality optics. In short, a camera perhaps "dated" for some, but which in my opinion still has its say in the photographic field.
