sent on October 14, 2023 Pros: AF, image quality, high ISO hold, burst, "granitic" camera body, battery life, tropicalization, functionality and customization. Cons: The sensor must be cleaned constantly, which on my previous machine I did not need to do so often. Opinion: Coming from a Canon 7D II I can say that the 1DX II is another planet. For about 5 months he has been accompanying me in all the photo sessions and travels. Starting from the camera body as soon as you take it in hand you feel the weight that at first can scare but makes those long and heavier optics like my sigma 150-600mm Sport very balanced. The settings are complete and very customizable depending on the situations in which you shoot, as well as easy to find from the menus. The AF and burst are impressive for accuracy, speed and hardly misses the shot if well set. I took photos quietly between 12800 and 20000 ISO still fully usable and rich in detail. Weather resistance tested literally under the Seljalandsfoss waterfall without giving the slightest sign of slowdowns and / or problems. The only negative note is the dust that accumulates at the edges of the sensor, so cleaning must be constant. |
sent on August 19, 2022 Pros: Buy it only if you know what you want Cons: It must be studied capita does not take beautiful photos if you do not know it Opinion: And needless to say that nothing is perfect if you want a camera body that takes beautiful photos without doing anything you have wrong body not and for everyone but one of the few bodies that you can do everything who has understood it not the criticism who hated it I will understand and better ride a broccoli or be able to ride a Stallion with the due time complicated fascinating if you want to take beautiful photos without knowing what you do buy a iPhone new , I had the 1dx I made 400 thousand shots with the same shutter only flaw 3 pixels burned |
sent on June 23, 2022 Pros: Uncompromising quality, when you know what you have in your hand then you understand what you can pull out of this jewel. Cons: Touch screen only for AF selection and not for menu navigation Opinion: What is the Canon 1dx2? Take a house with decades of history of photography, with a cutting-edge technological baggage, skilled both in the pro world and in the amateur world, put together a team with a single purpose: to create an object of which every single gram has a specific function, an adaptation dictated by experience, all to achieve the most professional result possible in terms of photography, while you are there, put the video compartment next to it and just to put the icing on the cake uses the more than tested ergonomics. Here comes out a camera with a disproportionate photographic compartment, fast to say the least, and I'm not talking about fps or AF (we already know that they are an exceptional thing) but rather I talk about operating speed in all its forms, from when you turn it on to when you turn it off it NEVER has a hesitation, never a moment where you say "it could be better" In the sun, in the dark, rain and mud, with a wide angle or a 600mm, everyone is pushed to the highest levels, shots at 50 thousand iso and you can use the files without problems (personal experience, I can provide the shots taken at a third-class football match at night with lighting from the suburban field, on the 70-200 f2.8 and you fly); and let's face it, a body with bacteria grip and dual battery does NOT do the same things, a single processor body does NOT do the same things. Here IS THE SPEED. Point Of course, in today's world 20 megapixels are "few", the push of the media raises many doubts about what is the exact amount to have, and here people take a 7d2 from 24megapixel on apc-s, or 32 on the 90D (and now on the R7) and you fall back into the trap of marketing; here you have "only" 20, but when you print your beautiful exhibition billboard, and you have taken well, you will enjoy them all. Then there is the video part, and here from 120 fps with one of the best files ever seen on the market (try it to believe) with a naturalness on colors and transactions to border on magic, and then move on to 4K 60 fps in cinematic format (so not the classic 3840 x 2160 but rather the 4096 x 2160) with incredible detail. Enclose all this in a room that you take in hand and you understand that it will accompany you, willingly accepting the weight and bulk as good companions because you know that it is thanks to those that everything works perfectly. The biggest flaw I do to this camera, and here we are talking about only market choice and not technological limit, is that the touch screen you can use it ONLY to select the AF in live-view, and this thing freaks me out because it did not cost him anything to put it also as a menu navigation (which they did on the dx3, very comfortable) and if then they had put the screen at least reclining, if not even flippable, here they would no longer have sold the next ones and here you understand the marketing choices. They did the 2 already knowing how the 3 will be, this says a lot. That said, those who complain about the WEIGHT, those who complain about the COST, make it clear that they did NOT understand what they have on their hands (or what has NOT given many write / speak without knowing) I took a long time to discover the true nature of this room, that despite the new models and the consequent lowering of price I had to suffer a lot to bring it home, although I could take a good used R5 with the same money "because it is newer, has more megapixels, takes more shots and has eye tracking" but then, in the end, when I found myself with an R3 in my hand, you understand the differences. To you all other considerations, good light and sleep well at night, I recommend ? |
sent on February 18, 2022 Pros: Image quality, autofocus, shutter speed, buffer, viewfinder, ergonomics, extensive customization possibilities Cons: the Canon log is missing, there is no af-servo mode in live-view for photos, for videos in 4k only the option to record in mjpeg is available Opinion: It is the model that replaced the 1dx and, although on paper some specifications are similar, the machine has been redesigned in its main components. On the autofocus side there has been an improvement in many respects: speed, focus point available (with certain combinations of optics and extenders it is possible to have all the af points active even if the maximum aperture is between f6.3 and f8), operation in low light conditions. In general, the autofocus is more responsive and reliable than that of the 1dx. In terms of image quality, between 18 and 20 megapixels does not change much, but they have greatly improved the dynamic range at iso-based sensitivity. At the higher ones, however, practically nothing changes compared to the old model, in terms of snr and dynamic range (at least if you shoot in raw, since in jpeg the noise reduction implemented by the camera counts a lot). There has been a considerable improvement in terms of buffer: even shooting in raw on both cards, you can exceed 100 shots (obviously depending on the iso sensitivity, scene photographed, shutter speed etc.) continuous. The shutter speed goes from 12 to 14fps, with active autofocus, and you reach 16fps in live view. Unfortunately, in the latter case the af-servo mode is missing, for photos, so the dual pixel cmos can only be used for static subjects. According to the designers, the choice is due to the fact that they had not judged the performance of the dual pixel cmos sufficient (it is a 2016 machine), for an eos 1, so they preferred not to implement this mode. A note: comparisons between the 1dx mark II and the r6 often appear on the forum, and some users claim that the latter exceeds the former "in all". This is absolutely not the case: focus speed with supertelephoto lenses and extenders, shutter speed with the mechanical shutter (and with flashes), shutter lag, configuration options, autonomy, viewfinder without response latencies and with a dynamic range much wider than an evf, are all aspects in which the 1dx mark II outclasses the r6 (not to mention ergonomics, of LCD screens and additional buttons etc.). On the video side, compared to the 1dx there has been an abysmal leap: first of all there is the dual pixel cmos, which allows you to have continuous focus, and also the machine can record video in 4k up to 60fps. There are, however, some limitations. In 4k the machine records only in mjpeg, with a high bitrate: this involves a considerable occupation of space: I suspect that the problem is hardware, in the sense that probably the digic processors would not have been able to handle the h264 compression, in 4k. In 4k, moreover, the machine does not record with the entire width of the sensor, but uses a 4k "portion" of the sensor: even here, I believe that it is a hardware limit, due to the processors and the reading speed of the sensor (which affects the rolling shutter). Finally, while on the 5d mark IV they added the ability to install (for a fee) the Canon log, nothing was done for the 1dx mark II. I had the opportunity to ask canon USA for clarification and, apparently, the problem is not hardware, but they simply have not received many requests for the addition of this function, on the 1dx mark II: unfortunately, Canon marketing still strikes ... |
sent on February 23, 2020 Pros: Autofocus speed, dynamic range, burst, screen Cons: Weight, price Opinion: I've owned it for three years now. Machine suitable for everything, autofocus speed at the top, a bit bulky and heavy but when you have in your hand a 300mm or a 500mm it's convenient to have a big body in your hand. The screen then in my opinion is a span above the 5D or 6D series. I find it useless, at least for me, the gps to which I would have clearly preferred wifi. |
sent on January 08, 2020 Pros: It's a 1D series. Everything has been designed and designed for absolute perfection! Cons: I haven't found any yet. Opinion: Having used the 1DX since 2013, today with the updated version, I am faced with a body that is completely familiar to me and fits perfectly with my type of work. Everything looks the same, but in reality the improvements are remarkable. I'm not going to sit here and list them all. I'm just saying that CANON technicians and engineers have done an outstanding job listening to hundreds of professionals around the world and adapting this efficiency monster to every single photographer who can take advantage of it. I read that someone complains about the weight or the video features; I don't agree with them at all. This is a machine designed for people who want it that way! Weight is a positive and essential feature because every milligram of this device has a very important purpose and mission. Anyone who uses it for the purpose it is intended for, would never work with something tiny and impalpable, much less complain about video features just below the best competition (as long as it is, I don't use it for videos). For the video industry, there are specially designed devices that fall into your hand better than a DSLR does. This tank packed with the best technology in existence was born and designed to be an immortal machine gun and that never jams! The rest are speeches from photo clubs frequented by kids all chatter and badge (cit.) |
sent on November 14, 2019 Pros: Series 1, reactivity AF, AF to f/8 on all points, RED AF POINT, IQ, high ISO hold, top tropicalization, commands, 4K to 60fps, FullHD at 120fps, GPS, size and weight, etc. etc. Cons: I would have preferred a double Cfast 2.0 slot Opinion: Of the series 1 I had the 1D Mark III and then the 1DX (both fabulous), and now waiting for the release of the 1DX Mark III, I wanted to take this 1DX II... Na beast! I had to think again that it was a slight upgrade of the 1DX, the changes are there, among many things it is much more responsive, the AF of the latest generation and finally the point of RED AF (configurable in two lighting intensity), in Under the 5D Mark III and 5D Mark IV, I was having to try to figure out where the AF's point was, no more. The files are much more workable, and allow greater recoveries of the shadow areas. The HIGH ISO estate is superior to the fantastic 5D Mark IV. The 20mp are for my needs more than enough, I do not make exaggerated crop, I always prefer to compose the frame well according to my needs, then if you need a few megapixels more use the 5D Mark IV. The only flaw in my opinion, is the use of two CF and Cfast 2.0 formats, I would have preferred to have both slots with Cfast 2.0 (-5) Conclusion, I was very pleased with this 1DX Mark II (9.5) |
sent on November 05, 2019 Pros: It is and does to everything I expected. Cons: Knowing what I was buying, nothing. Opinion: Purchased to flank the 5D4 and 5DsR for cars/bikes. Fantastic ergonomics, well balanced even with the 100-400 L II and the 500 L II that I often use freehand, feeling robust, responsive and burst modular, even the af is modular and better (but not much) than the af of mine 5. The file is easily workable, if I really have to make a note sometimes I miss the 30mpx of the 5D4. In my case its use is confined to only use "on the track", preferring for obvious reasons one of the 5 without battery grip for other things. I don't make videos, so I can't write anything about it. I took advantage of an opportunity to purchase, well-maintained machine and with a few shots. After a "season" of intense use, very but very happy. |
user84172 ![]() ![]() | sent on September 19, 2017 Pros: General quality, robustness, autofocus system, speed, battery life, dynamic range, reliability, high ISO quality, customization, Full HD and 4k video performance, unique color science, 4k 50/6op Cons: No audio during slowmotion, 4k and slowmotion fully usable only with CFast 2.0, no external 4k recording cards Opinion: At a first superficial examination Canon EOS-1D X Mark II would seem a slight facelift of the older sister, but in reality it is a new generation tool that, without prejudice to the incredible photographic qualities, offers a series of tools of high Level also to videomakers. Given the high quality of the 1D X Markk II, it is justifiable to think that the improvements are few, but just use it a few days to understand that, notwithstanding some limits incomprehensibly imposed by Canon, this machine would risk being perfect. Dynamic range of the RAW file incredibly extended, JPG much softer but nevertheless of excellent level, burst of reference, infallible autofocus system and deeply modulable to your own needs, performance at high ISO incredible, robustness, Reliability, extreme battery life are the strengths ID this model. On the other hand, the touch screen is very little exploited, the body is (inevitably) very heavy and the menus are as always very complex and sometimes unclear. The video compartment offers 4k of excellent quality that however denounces a crop very obvious and can not be recorded externally. The full HD is exceptional, with the possibility of turning at 50p or 60p, there is the slow motion 100/120p, and you can turn even 50/60p in 4k. But in this context, it seems that Canon has wanted to neutering this monster of performance, perhaps to protect the C series. Very controversial choice, because C100 Mark II, C300 and the new C200 are still struggling to keep up with the products of other brands. Why offer an exceptional slowmotion, but amputate the audio? Why not allow the ability to shoot in 4k with external device to get a 422 10 bit color depth? Yet it allows you to shoot in 4k 50/60, feature that many competitors do not offer! Ultimately, great machine, which maybe a serious firmware update on the video side could become absolutely perfect. |
sent on April 20, 2017 Pros: Autofocus, maneuverability, disturbance to 1d m IV, robustness etc. etc. RECOMMENDED! Cons: Silent shot of de stappa! ;-) sorry! But the silenced shutter is noisier than a distracted tractor! 2) caricature lan link, only succeeded with eos utility, and not via ftp protocol. 3) High battery consumption compared to 1d m IV at least twice as high. Opinion: When I try the field I will update. For the moment I have done some tests and I have to say that it is at least 2 steps forward to the unforgettable 1d M IV, which I am AFFECTABLE! In fact it was difficult for me to replace it I confess it. In these tests I saw a latitude of pose (dynamic range to mean ;-)) absolutely fantastic, the "asa" yield (sorry but i'm "iso" i can not say it) and its disturbance are absolutely out of the ordinary, revealing As canon engineers have worked us well. Great setting af and its picture style that have at least 3 different factors to adjust for definition. It has infinitely configurable configuration for all needs. Well-tune LCD monitor that returns a well made prew. It has an exceptionally brilliant delay of just 0.055 which can further be reduced to 0.033 (I'll let you know how it will just happen to have its baptism of fire) .rnRimane the tare of the "clickSilent "silence is not (it was more than 1d m IV) .nn BATTESIMO DEL FUOCO: Then yesterday I tried it on the field, during a well-fed dance and work load. Rn As" review "there was Even the unknown "light" (that is, each participant can ask for the variations of scene lights as he wants, which he can not do in the competition because an "atmosphere" could influence judges by distracting them from the technical and artistic aspect that each dancer expresses) .FREE FIRE: absolutely perfect at all times engages the subject and keeps the fire even with very little light. The only thing to be aware of is the speed of fire to settle well because for example I was slow and in a couple Of cases did not make time to fuze (though a couple of cases over 4,000 shots) .rRITART OF ROTATE: Further reduced. However, giving up the stabilization check (with the mono piAnd even deactivating it to gain in definition) it can further reduce 0.033. Done! And you have the real feeling of immeasurability. In fact, too, I have to do my hand, because used to the old car, initially I had some difficulty, nothing can not be exceeded though.rnPOSITION: I lowered the contrast of the picture style to the minimum, which theater is important to keep under control As much as possible, cut lights etc. etc. A great dynamic range that can contrast with exposure differences of at least 3 stops more than the previous models, so you have a total of 5 0 6 stops total latitude on which you can rely on 25,000 and broken iso ( However, to be checked EVER case by case), let's say that all iso, even h3, the range remains completely under control and returns an absolutely natural grayscale. Even the "ISO yield" in my opinion is better (but it could be a "feeling" dictated by enthusiasm), whichEqual adjustment has a much better result in display response, certainly due to the best dynamic range.rnDISTURBO (PIXEL GRAN ASA / ISO ECC. ECC): Absolutely another planet compared to the 1d mark IV. I worked quietly up to 25,000 asa! I pushed up to 40,000! NO problem of disturbance. Although, objectively, the image is overwhelmed by sensitivity, due to the "high-pitched noise control", which is increasingly heavy, and to me this is a nuisance. So I recommend a lower intensity adjustment to return more naturalness to the image. However up to 1,600 asa the grain is absolutely absent as if you hit at 50! Up to 6,400 is really as minimal as the old 400. Up to 12,600 as the old 800! So compared to my reference model I bought about 4 stop disruptions! DEFINITION: ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT PREVIOUS! BnBATTERIA: Consume 'in digit! With the old car and battery I faced at least a coupleOf events of this amount of photos. With this and its new battery I came to 2/3 of the event with lan and gps turned off. I put the old battery to end the show and at the end of the job I had consumed about 55%. My advice is, if you work, to buy it, even working in the studio, unless you have to do particular magnifications. Why take a good step. I understand that it is costly, but believe me in a job prospect in which you seek uncompromised quality, the price difference with the 5th series is less than what you can think and is well damped anyway in a very short time.rnMy advice Even to the evolved hobbyists who want to move towards the 5th series, that price difference is largely "repayed" by the difference of yield. R Lan connection for the moment only succeeded through eos utility and not via ftp protocol |

sent on November 16, 2016 Pros: Af, gust, Organization keys and menus. Best Dynamic Range at low ISO, general IQ, the cost of the competition and the number 5 (in proportion). AF f / 8 on all points Cons: Lacks the wi-fi, I would have preferred 24Megapixel resolution, High ISO little better of 1Dx. Opinion: An incomparable work tool for ergonomics and speed 'operation. Very similar to 1Dx in all respects, which have improved many things, primarily the low iso sensor. I enjoyed the new sensor with the DA on chip that has improved a lot of the DR at low ISO, making the workability 'of the best file. As always for the Canon jpeg files' already 'great straight from the camera, the WB and' very good and much improved. |
sent on November 14, 2016 Pros: Af spectacular even with 500 is II and 2X III: speed and accuracy are impressive even hundreds of meters away from the subject. File well usable even at 3200 ISO: it is easy to reduce the noise without sacrificing the detail. Price quality ratio significantly better than 5div, plasticosa and buffer and rather embarrassing burst in the action picture. Maybe I will say 'something obvious, but IQ and latitude of laying the file are notable compared to the 7d2 that I have used so far. Buffer with cfast absolutely satisfying in the action picture: more than 10 consecutive seconds of 14 raw per second without stopping. Cons: I would have expected a cleaner file above 1600 ISO. In theory the weight. Actually, I found it better to wield the 500 with the duplicators with the 1dx II compared to the 7dii. Burst of 14 ft / s very noisy and usually canon exposureometer not very reliable in photography of birds in flight. Opinion: After 15 years return to series 1. Accuracy of af and readiness not comparable with 7dii: just touch the key of maf and shoot: from the first frame you immediately get a shot in focus. So far I have used all the sensors, noting the almost absolute precision even of the outer sides. Exposure meter more usable of the 7 series but still unsatisfactory in naturalistic: one is forced to make continuous adjustments of the automatic exposure. As mentioned in the pros, the use of the 500 is II with 2XIII does not greatly reduce the speed and accuracy of AF: in particular the accuracy af small subjects at great distances is really amazing. Even in backlight the af has no indecisions and is more 'accurate than 7dii.rnTime of response in the action picture surprising and fully satisfactory. Discreet battery life even with the machine always on. Good with automatic shutdown: re-ignition is much faster than 7dii. I did not find the intuitive controls as you read around. I noticed a% 3B excellent quality and workability of the raw file: a good step forward compared to the 7dii even if the color balance is very similar. Shadows opening at least double compared to 7dii. As QI you gain at least two diaphragms of really usable sensitivity, working accurately on the noise you can easily get to 4. In an absolute sense I would rate 9: a few more mega would have been useful. In the Canon world for action photos vote 10. |
sent on October 20, 2016 Pros: Possibility of using even the side with the 2.0X extender, autofocus speed with the same much more prompt and accurate than 1d MKIV where I come from, very accurate meter reading, held at high ISO (up a12800 used) very good with fine-grained . Cons: For "my" personal use would have preferred 2-3 frames per second less with a denser sensor MP 26-28 Opinion: A machine with flawless construction, with a DR good (at least for us as we used canonists): Now the shadows recovery is as good as the rest of the workability at high ISO. For those who practice or birds in general, photos of animals in uncontrolled situations, lacking a bit 'resolution which, surely, will be introduced in the next (6.5 MP more) |

I had two weddings in the closet type room with two incandescent bulbs and the white dress of the bride was wHITE without dominante.rnAF DEPARTMENT VIDEO; beyond the obvious quality of 4K images, but these require cards MINIMUM 128 GB for a few minutes of recovery and then the next costs 500 euro, the thing that makes apprezzare is the AF system truly effective and widely customizable as in the photo department. Interesting the possibility of moving the point Af is the joystick that with a touch of the finger on the touch screen display during shooting and to adjust the speed of movement of fire from one point to another. Before the 1Dx was a video camera for only static images, now it is really two products in one, and I'm using it very much both at the racetrack for the classic video to my children. Can shoot movies with optical f / 1.2 at full aperture without having to play on depth of field in order to have a decent fire is magic pura.rnPUNTI AF ROSSI; It looks like nonsense to those who have never tried the first version 1Dx or 5D3 or 7D series but blacks AF points were really absurd in situations of dark scenes or subjects still blacks or dark. In a marriage is really important moments lose not seeing the active AF point and having to spend time to do it flashing a moment with the joystick ..... now the points are red and you can clearly see anywhere without infastidire.rnLEVA SWITCH; finally anche appeared on the flagship that blessed linkage that allows you to instantly switch from one camera to video mode ... first with 1Dx you had to first set the menu and assign the Livewiev button the desired function ... now it's like to have two buttons. .. one for photos and one for video.rnSCHEDE CFAST; fast, fast .... formatting in 1/10 time than the best commercially CF .... much safer when they occur and without any chance to break or bend any pins as CF ..... still cost a lot but are appreciated by subito.rnAREA MAF; read the features on the site canon that 15% of increased area seemed nonsense no tangible ... instead with eye in the viewfinder the area on which are distributed the 61 AF points appear much wider and pushed beyond the segments of the classic rule third .... all this facilitates possible or not need to redial after the MAF and even the eventual tracking of moving subjects. The difference is there are notevole.rnrnrnPoior all other aspects that other users have already praised but I count now much more accurate scontate.rnAf, Stronger file, 2 mpx more than upset ... but you notice many improvements but that does not make any adequate transition from mk1 mk2 according to me .... the 1Dx was already a great favola.rnrnPiccola note of praise about two factors; post production room and computer.rnI really reveal extremes in processing files, in the light and shadow recovery by returning images to the border with HDR.rnElaborazione of sharpness factors in truly amazing room to have the JPG files ready for use of a quality never vista.rnrn |
sent on July 04, 2016 Pros: Autofocus, burst, exposure Cons: Number of shots without slowing less than the declared Opinion: I used the machine for the first time, completely, in my recent trip to Finland. I possessed the "old" 1Dx and I must say that the breakthrough is significant. The more frames per second help, but is the buffer that has changed, allowing to be able to take more, or to commence a few tenths of a second before. The calibration of the cases (1-6) is important and allows to exploit all the potential autofocus or, otherwise, to err a photograph, also in a remarkable way. We need to try different subjects with different movements, trying to rebuild a real case studies and own (this is my personal experience). The new Dx, unlike the previous one, captures the subject more easily and holds it in focus for a more prolonged period of time. Its sensitivity is much higher in the case of low light conditions. RNLA quality of frames is virtually identical to that of the 5D mark ii,while with the previous noticeable a difference in terms qualitativi.rnL'esposimetro is much more reliable and accurate. I happened previously, several times, which were read incorrectly high luci.rnrnUnico neo (from the declared) is the actual number of usable shots. The house writes "170" in raw. Very true, but not at 14 fps. Exact speed varies depending on the weight of the frame and the af mode used. In any case we are talking of embarrassing numbers in normal utilizzo.rn |
sent on June 28, 2016 Pros: operating speed, extended buffer, and AF sensor quality (dynamic range) Cons: None of relief. I would have preferred the adoption of the double CFast slot. Opinion: I have the 1DX II by the end of April (it was one of the first to be delivered) and I joined the 1DX. So, my opinion is related to both the 1DXII as such, which in comparison to the previous 1DX.rnSostanzialmente, as was to be expected, the 1DXII has improved across the already complete and reliable 1DX. In some aspects of the improvements are marginal (+2 megapixels, noise at high ISO), in other substantive (dynamic range, AF, operating speed, video industry, Metering) .rnAF the AF system, while maintaining the previous 61 points, definitely improved. I am not referring only to all the hot spots even with optical f8 (substantially optical with multipliers), but in the ability to operate in low light conditions and the subject tracking system moving quickly. Returning to optical multiplied the use of 2X performance to remember the use of 1.4x with 1DX: fast to keep up with the subject even where the 1DX continues to make forward-indietro.rnVELOCITA ': It took 4 Series 1 (1DIII , 1DIV, and 1DX 1DXII) but finally the buffer (thanks to the CFast memory) is adequate to burst 14 fps (+2 compared to 1DX) and 16 fps with AF locked (+ 2 on 1DX). Prolonged bursts of more than 15 seconds have no hesitation or slowdowns. Even when the buffer is full in a few seconds you free. I dared to abandoning altogether CFlash.rnESPOSIMETRO: The exposure is even more precise and reliable. I report in this section that the white balance is also consistent with artificiali.rnVIDEO light sources: Almost a revolution than the 1DX for both the frame rate for the 4K format (from which you can extract frames in jpeg). Using just the video function and I have not done accurati.rnrnDopo test all these compliments to the question: is it worth changing the 1DX with 1DX II the answer is .... it depends! If you exploit the capabilities of 1DXII (with particular reference to the FPS speed AF for moving subjects, video, etc ...) the answer is decisamente SI. In certain situations the difference, at least perceived, is remarkable. If you prefer the landscapes and portraits, though gusts to prolonged 14fps not interest you .... you'll have to evaluate your choice more carefully (if the expenditure is an investment for you .... if it is not a problem, take the no 1DXII think about it) .rnrnNon quote more usual discussion: weight and size. We are talking about a number 1 and as such built to last, with BG integrated, capacious battery, large and ergonomic controls the rear sticks are larger and improved grip) .rnrnUltimo: 1DX II vs D5. Only the 1Dx II and D5 are comparable. All other products are missing out on a comparative who sees these two excel templates to speed and robustness. I have not tried the D5. My feeling, to'm ready to change my mind, is that these are two such comprehensive and high-performance reflex not to be the element of choice between Canon and Nikon. Choose safely such as optical, flash system, assistance, etc .... prefer and therefore will come & agravis; the choice between 1DXII and D5. |

But it seems to be a problem already known to Tamron and should have already corrected with the last update. Firmware ... |
