Pros: Great sharpness already at maximum aperture, excellent color management with delicate, fantastic shades, beautiful focal length cut that obviously favors the dilation of the spaces of 27 mm

Cons: Lens hood that is easy to remove

Opinion: Recently purchased, I am a Fujifilm customer, and I must confess that I appreciate it more than the legendary 56 f. 1.2 that I use with great satisfaction. I didn't think Viltrox would reach these levels, really good. The focal length of 40 mmm equivalent on FF gives the right cut for close-ups set with a soft and progressive blur. For me one of the best lenses in the APSC landscape.

Pros: practically everything if you evaluate it as a lens for heavy work, but not too much...

Cons: Maybe lens hood not clicked on the stroke end, aperture ring a bit soft and difficulty with screw insertion of filters

Opinion: Excellent optics all around if you have any idea of getting a heavy lens for pro or similar work. It is obvious that there is the compromise with the Fuji 56 1.2, in my opinion in extreme behaviors such as flickering and heavy flare but honestly it did not happen to me outside the personal tests out of curiosity. Obviously it is heavy, bulky and on pro bodies like XH2/S it makes itself felt after a while but it really deserves a lot, I used it for street and video and I must say that in the latter it really surprised in terms of quality but as AF it does not match very well with Fuji but maybe it is just my sample. Rated 10/10 like the whole Pro line 1.2

Pros: All

Cons: Nothing in particular

Opinion: Really fantastic optics, maybe a little heavy but it's so fun to use that the weight takes a back seat. I particularly appreciated the focal length of 27mm which, in my opinion, is better than the classic 35mm in terms of angle of view. I've noticed that manual focus ring tends to be a bit stiff, I don't know if it's a defect of my lens or it's just like that. In any case, it is a pro optic at an objectively affordable price for the build quality.

Pros: All

Cons: Weight

Opinion: It is a professional perspective, I would dare to say. The features can be seen in detail on this site. I confirm what others have said in full, including the only "defects" which are possibly size and weight. In fact it is a lens that needs pro camera body, xt1/5 xh1.... I recommend it to those who want or need brightness and high quality for professional shots. If I can, I give it away only for the weight having a problem with my hands, otherwise it would be for life!

Pros: Very interesting perspective in a work context

Cons: Perhaps exaggerated dimensions on non-pro bodies

Opinion: Nice lens, I used it in a work context and it did not disappoint me. A focal length that becomes about 40mm on full frame, perfect and honestly, in my opinion, better than 35mm as an angle of view. Very usable at f1.2, you close the aperture only to increase the pdc, not for lack of sharpness or contrast. The dimensions are very important, I found it uncomfortable to the limits of unusable on xe and xpro bodies, while excellent on xt5 thanks to its revised ergonomics. To be evaluated therefore, honestly I would not consider it for amateur use, given the inconvenience in use. For general use, the size of a 33 1.4, for example, is still a huge advantage. For a professional, however, it can be a definitive solution to shoot 90% of an event, which honestly happened to me. Too bad then for the ridiculous rendering of Fuji in low light conditions that made me abandon the system. If I had stayed, however, without a doubt this viltrox, perhaps together with the 56 1.2, would have been my work combination. Too bad that its "companion" is the 75 1.2, decidedly long on aps-c for professional use.

Pros: construction on par with the best native Fuji, image quality, tropicalized, usb-c socket for update and last but not least the price

Cons: at the moment none

Opinion: I state that I own the 13 1.4 and the 75 1.2 and this 27 has the same pros as its predecessors indeed it has the aperture ring even softer but there is no danger of moving it inadvertently, another thing that I appreciate that to put it in MF it does not have the button on the lens like the 75 but it is controlled by the lever on the camera body I use them on an XT-5 and on my sample the lens hood it has a strong graft taken new on Amazon at € 506 in my opinion unattainable quality price I highly recommend it

Pros: Outstanding optical performance, selling price, build quality from Pro optics, weather sealing, bokeh, upgrade with usb-c, precise autofocus

Cons: If you want to look for a defect at all costs, the lens hood does not click once engaged (but does not move)

Opinion: I was stunned by this optics, quality wide open, well f/1.2, mind-blowing!! A few years ago, a lens with such an aperture (very few) would have had a scary cost and lower results. Beautiful bokeh with very progressive blur, pleasant and never nervous. Neutral colors similar to those of Sony lenses, very balanced. Precise autofocus and fast response (on Sony A6700). The construction is impeccable and it's a pleasure to hold it (all metal). Some criticism about the plastic lens hood (not plastic) that doesn't click but still stays in place. Adjustable aperture ring without clicks for videos or with clicks every 1/3 stop. AF button and customizable button. Firmware update is very easy, just connect it via any usb-c cable, drag the file to the folder that appears on the desktop and it does everything by itself. I also have a Sony A7IV and I tried to use it with the crop that is automatically recognized and provides a perfect 14GB file. This allows me to use a 27 f1.2 even on the FF with a good resolution. In reality, the coverage of the lens is greater than APS-C, shooting without cropping (therefore leaving the image with a black circle) and cropping afterwards so that the vignetting disappears completely, you get a 17MP image at about 24mm. I put in Pets an example photo at f1.2. Delighted with the purchase!

Pros: Build, Price, Aperture, Sharpness, AF

Cons: I haven't found any yet

Opinion: I heard very good things about this lens, I informed myself and, after also seeing the video of its test made by the promirrorless channel, I was convinced to buy it. I have to admit that I did really well to get this lens, its performance in photos is equal if not even better than the best fuji fixed lenses and compared to the latter it costs about half. He has already become a starter in my kit, sending 23 and 33 f1.4 to the bench. If you have a fuji I can only recommend the purchase, you won't regret it. Needless to say, I've already ordered the 75 Pro as well. TIPA AWARDS 2024 awarded as best standard lens for APS-C

Pros: Excellent build quality, PRO-level tropicalization, sharpness, f1.2 focal length bokeh, Type C port for upgrades, autofocus, value for money, superlative image quality!

Cons: No stabilization, weight 560g, pvc paracle, vignetting in some particular situations where they are not corrected in the room.

Opinion: Viltrox AF 27mm f/1.2 XF Pro is an exceptional, high-performance, high-quality, fast, silent, precise and above all beautiful lens (plastic lens hood but never mind...) ... Very good quality metal body... HOYA lenses all at a price that, for heaven's sake, is not "gifted" but is absolutely excellent for a product that surprises expectations without doubt... I definitely recommend it!

Pros: Fantastic one-of-a-kind 27mm f1.2

Cons: No one, the fact that no one has done it before

Opinion: Taken at a bargain price on their official store, the lens arrived in a few days and is incredible, tested on XT5 and XS20 sharp at full aperture, fast in autofocus, built by God entirely in metal. Clear and decisive diaphragm ring, excellent plastic lens hood that engages and removes without problems. The lens is tropicalized so no problems with rain and dust. It resolves the 40mpx of the XT5's sensor at f2 f2.8 greatly, the center and edges are identical. It can be used in all contexts such as street photography and weddings. The focal length of the 40mm follows well the human eye, so it is neither a grandogolo nor a tele, a middle ground that is good in almost any situation. Those who took the 75 F1.2 released at the beginning of the year know that it has a top lens and this 27 F1.2 has exactly the same quality and performance, only the focal length changes. I can't wait to see when they remake the 131.4 which is already fabulous but it lacks tropicalization if we talk about it again next year

Pros: cost, f1.2, definition, construction, materials

Cons: Maybe the weight but on xh2 it's well balanced

Opinion: I purchased this lens after seeing and reading many reviews. I state that I have been using it for a very short time but from what I have seen so far I am fully satisfied with it. On my xh2 it resolves its 40mpx very well and has incredible sharpness. I also like the focal length that I had never considered, even more than the 33mm Viltrox I had. I'll update later if I find any flaws or anything.

Pros: Definition, definition already at 1.2, build quality, aesthetics, diaphragm ring, lens hood.

Cons: Nothing, maybe the size and the weight BUT those who buy it already know what they are up against.

Opinion: A high-quality, solid lens that gives you above-average definition photos. Low cost in relation to quality. Nothing to envy to those of the parent company. Beautiful blur, great for reportage/street and portraits. Focal length that allows you to do everything without having distortions. I use it with the Fuji XT30 II and I consider it a winning combination.
