sent on 20 Dicembre 2022 Pros: Sharpness price weight Cons: Slow autofocus lack of tropicalization Opinion: I have this lens for some years now and perhaps I have underestimated it a little, only lately I'm realizing its qualities especially the sharpness that is excellent and considering the purchase price the quality / price ratio is excellent The autofocus is a bit slow but since I use it almost exclusively to do macro and with manual maf is not that this limit is important for me Excellent definition and for its length focal I find it also good for portraits where it manages to give very beautiful background blurs. Great for weight, you don't realize you have mounted it I definitely have to use it more
sent on 14 Marzo 2021 Pros: size and low weight, spectacular sharpness. Cons: Af uncertain in low light conditions. Opinion: Definitely a good goal, I already possessed the previous model that composed very well in shooting conditions, as portraits where with its sharpness it did not forgive the slightest imperfection of the skin. In a very close macro situation it had the defect of extending the barrel towards the resumed subject, this creates some problems, but this new model is much improved using an internal focus and therefore does not stretch outwards. Af focus is faster and less uncertain, stabilizer helps a lot in freehand shooting. However, it remains really very good in macro shooting where I use it especially in MF. Low weight and really good color rendering.

sent on 18 Aprile 2017 Pros: Sharpness MF weight Cons: For now nobody Opinion: I bought the 90 to replace it with the 100 unconfirmed Canon, despite being fond of the Canon, there was a lot of lack of stabilizer. I did take a snapshot and I immediately noticed the fluidity of the dirnMF ring, the lightness compared to the 100 Canon. I have opened various openings and is already clear at the very opening. The blur is soft and enjoyable without getting to Canon. It delivers beautiful colors and is not affected by aberrations. I read AF slow but being a macro I guess I will always use manual focus. For now nothing to say in the negative that I can regret the 100 Canon rnA follow: I add that I could not choose the best. After a bit of trials I can say that it is a beautiful lens has nothing to envy the Canon 100. The blur is beautiful and the colors are very natural. I advise
sent on 16 Novembre 2016 Pros: Sharpness, stabilization focal length Cons: For use with AF limiter Opinion: Excellent lens, super sharp. Nice also the focal 90, of the 105 best in the portraits but then obliges to approach 1cm in macro mode. very good stabilization, even at 1/6 are obtained almost always crisp picture that is 3 / 3.5 stop vantaggio.rnUnica known in low light conditions, the AF goes up and down. It is almost obligatory to use the limiter, incidentally if you make macro you are under 50cm, if you make portraits or landscapes has over 50cm. Added limiter (max patted with full time manual focus) and there are no problems. At least macro genres, landscape, street, portrait. For use in sports photography not saprei.rnIn Basically an excellent lens, which perhaps should be in the bag all for portraits too. It does not have the bokeh of a 1.8 but very often the various 85, 100, 70-200 does not put you in focus under 80cm and therefore any close up is prohibited. This macro This limit does not have it and you shoot with confidence and with no regrets.
sent on 07 Novembre 2016 Pros: Sharpness, weight, value for money Cons: Nothing (if not the lack of an enclosure) Opinion: I ordered the objective in question last spring despite being just out of the updated version because it cost almost twice! It's my first macro, great goal throughout, light to use freehand, supernitido, I must say that I love to shoot with this goal and recommend it compared the new version given the excessive difference in my opinion not justified price by improvements apportate.rnDalle reviews I've read is the best goal in his range of focal, usually you compare it with the Sigma 105 but loses a bit 'in terms of vignetting at TA (i click so often) while the working distance it is practically the same, seen that the Sigma is a little 'longer.
sent on 25 Novembre 2015 Pros: Great goal. Cons: Nothing! Opinion: It is a lens that must be learned to use, but gives results really ottimi.rnPerò who buys and who buys macro lenses in general should know that the best pictures are in the early morning. So you do not think you do not wake up at dawn instead as I did. Unfortunately for this reason I used only half.
sent on 09 Settembre 2015 Pros: Weight, construction, nut maf, money. Cons: slow autofocus, not sealed. Opinion: Great macro lens for not pushing, very light, ideal for the free hand, especially on aps-c is really convenient. Acting on a short coat but does his duty. The autofocus is lost too often but basically only use manual focus, so it is not a significant problem. To the end where you enter it is really valid. For macro acclimatized we can also open almost at room temperature and is always a razor, provided you hit the parallelism.
sent on 19 Luglio 2015 Pros: Clarity, weight, vc, price Cons: Af slower in low light conditions Opinion: Third optical tamron in my possession .... Blessed be the day that I bought to "game" the 28-75.rnPremesso that the price is definitely a strong point in relation to the optical quality, sharpness is at staggering levels already in Ta. rnUtilizzata also for portraits thanks to vc.rnUnico defect: af slow in low light, I find it difficult in some occasions in focus but deeply concerned with a view unlike any other, and that deserves to be studied properly given its limiter setting fuoco.rnSicuramente is not a goal for amateurs at first weapons but, once you learn its characteristics, returns pictures of a quality disarmante.rnPeso on nikon d750 ... sometimes I wonder ... " but I mounted? ". rnMi only regret not having bought before, that goal should never miss in your backpack.
sent on 02 Giugno 2015 Pros: Sharpness, Price, Price-quality ratio, weight, dimensions Contained, Fluidity ring Focus Cons: Large Focus Breathing while in 1: 1, AF did not live in conditions of imperfect light, Construction, VC is not perfect Opinion: I bought to replace the Nikon 105G that was too big and heavy to carry around as a specialist lens Tamron and I must say this is not all bad: definitely worth the money it costs, especially when purchased used. Sharp as the 105, costs half, weighs less, is smaller and it is a joy to use. Unfortunately I understand it very difficult if not impossible to make the focus stacking due to marcatissimo focus breathing that near 1: 1 so it changes the focal length of a few mm while varying the focus; I know it is a common failing of IF but I think here is very marked. Also when you exit from the sunlight filled the AF starts to go back and forth despite the limiters, and the VC is certainly not to the levels of NIkon VR: I have detected more than 1.5 stops compensation and have a steady hand . For the rest, apart from a building a bit 'creaky which happens to be one step below the already plasticky Nikon Professional, it is a must have soprattutto for value for money. A final praise goes to the fluidity of the ring focus, basically the use now always in MF because it's really a pleasure to focus manually.
sent on 17 Marzo 2015 Pros: Sharpness, stabilizer, quality / price ratio Cons: until now no one, except for the problem that I have listed below Opinion: Mine is not an opinion, even if the first shots, my impression is that the most favorable, is a request made to those who can rispondere.rnOggi I received the lens in question, and I started to "play". To my amazement I was not able to open up to 2.8, but I stopped and 3 / 3.5 ---------- RNLA my SLR is the nikon d90- rnMi I start to worry about the validity of lens purchased or is a technical problem of the light. rnGrazie and excuse my intrusion. rnMauro
sent on 25 Gennaio 2015 Pros: sharpness (including TA), stabilizer, speed AF in good light conditions, build quality, price Cons: AF slower in low light conditions. Opinion: A lens that great satisfaction, if you know how to use. The sharpness is perfect even at RT. Great for portraits, macro, landscape, sports. Excellent and useful limiters distance to the focus. The stabilizer does its work very bene.rnLa focus misfires in low luminosità.rnPer its price, it's a great goal.
sent on 27 Agosto 2014 Pros: Sharpness, AF speed, stabilizer, value Cons: Compatibility with mirrorless Canon Opinion: After trying the old version and its quality (but also its painfully slow AF) and confidant of Tamron enhancements with new technologies USD and VC (I already had the 70-300 vc usd) I was convinced and I did not regret the purchase. Immediately became my favorite lens, on Eos 60 d sharpness is already very good at f 2.8 (and gets impressive from f4), the stabilizer is useful for portraits (and in some cases even a little help in macros) and AF although slightly + slow of USM 15-85 is adequate for a macro lens, and absolutely accurate even in low light. Definitely a product got it right, with little to envy to 100 l (I've got to try) but with 50% less cost. Update-use on Eos M5: after upgrading the firmware I was able to use it even on the M5. Here the AF speed is slightly reduced and especially more inaccurate in non-optimal lighting conditions. Usable but definitely better out of reflex.
sent on 22 Maggio 2014 Pros: price, sharpness, value for money Cons: af not fast Opinion: After a long meditation (100L Canon or Tamron VC 90?) My pockets have decided for the Tamron ... and I'm not sorry! Well built, it returns a razor sharp image! it was love at first ... click! The 'Af is accurate (though not very fast, even with the focus limiter) and stabilization helps .. well Straconsigliato!
sent on 04 Marzo 2014 Pros: Sharpness, price, size, stabilization, focus limiter Cons: If I have to be very (VERY) finicky autofocus can be a bit 'sketchy on small distances, but has never been a problem. Opinion: My first macro perspective: I think it's the best choice I could do, never disappoints me, there is a photo that I can not do with him. The autofocus is very fast and accurate, (the limit is back and forth a few times, mostly over short distances, but always catches us), absolutely quiet. The stabilizer does its job except with slow shutter speeds: in that case I HAVE to turn it off or the photo has to be thrown away because of the rough but do not consider it a bad thing, who needs stabilization on the stand? The sharpness is excellent, even in 100% crops without closing the diaphragm, if I try to close it ... it becomes a thing out of my head, sharp enough to hurt. In addition, it maintains its size, not like the previous 90 2.8. It is a view to which they are satisfied 200%.
sent on 23 Febbraio 2014 Pros: - Value very much competitiva.rnImmagini nitide.rn Cons: Nn autofocus is very fast. Opinion: Result in sharp image that I think has a definition eccezionale.rnIl your purchase has replaced Tammy without VC. Mah .. I'm not quite sure of the difference. I have tested initially but nn being was stunned, I stopped her (by now I had changed!). I find than however unlike the other there are positives to justify the higher price and also the "emotional detachment" on the other with which I am passionate about the macro. In smooth gave me a little 'bother the recess of the barrel for the transition to manual. This is solid, and everything is built better. rnsono exact matches, but I've never tried that nn Nikon optics that would have taken if it had not been for those nn almost 2 ounces more. Above 500 gr. I "accuse" the weight negatively.
sent on 14 Dicembre 2013 Pros: A little of everything ... Cons: Stabilizer almost useless, not great aurofocus Opinion: Good lens in every aspect base: construction, handling, nititezza, brightness, weight, price and so on. Going instead to evaluate the stabilizer is not great. my specimen has a sharp front of the menu, which I correct focus SLR with a +12 and I honestly do not feel like sending it in for service. Well suited for portraits where the 2.8 on a 90mm by soddisfazioni.Ora really nice considering it was designed to do macro VC and AF are not important to me. I think it is the best compromise price / performance. However, I would live in quiet even with the old model.
sent on 18 Ottobre 2013 Pros: excellent optical performance autofocus. Cons: the stabilizzazzione, at least mine even at a distance of 5 or 6 feet are not the best. Opinion: I had the first type (the one that stretched). This is optically excellent, unfortunately my proven stabilizzazzione conrnrnil canon 24-105 in the same focal length, it is not at the level of the canon, and it is for this reason that my vote is not the best I expected a lot more, nothing rnrnper optics to say excellent as always, silent autofocus, and veloce.rn
