Pros: Zoom Range

Cons: Image Quality, Build Quality, Construction, Stabilisation, Speed, Almost Everything!

Opinion: Awful lens, big mistake. Sold on again as soon as I could. Image quality not up to scratch at any focal length or aperture. The VC was so noisy that you couldn't use it as it must be faulty and would disturb people's conversation. Build awful, plastics used very cheap and as zoomed out, the whole lens got sloppy and would move about. Lenshood totally inadequate, lens horribly susceptible to flare. Avoid at all costs! 1/10

Pros: Light that does not come the rocky, stabilizer, excursion, general yield, blurry good, cost, practicality, for FF and Apsc

Cons: Autofocus which is not like the Canon L series, does not weigh a ton.

Opinion: I got to use this little Tamron gem on Canon 6D and on 40D. I must say that it was a pleasure given the excursion that allows you to capture an overwhelming amount of scenes. For street or for travel in my opinion give the maximum. It weighs less than a third of Canon's 28-300 L, the stabilizer is very good and then does not make the cliffhane bring it around for 4 or 5 hours. They did a nice job in tamron house ! According to what I could try, I consider it even better than the last version. On Apsc Canon, it becomes a 45-480. But it's also very good on full frame. In short: 550 grams compared to one kilo and six hundred of Canon all at hand and with a yield more than decent ! We just can't complain! I was very pleased ! Given its usability, its practicality and its general yield I can give it a near 9.

Pros: Price per FF, hike

Cons: VC noisy, focus, lens quality, brightness

Opinion: I bought this lens to make a couple of trips after the purchase of my D600 (FF). I bought it used less than 300 €, the only lens all do to FF at that price! It is very convenient because it has a nice zoom range, but after using it a few times (and have done some other penny) I immediately resold! VC loud, noisy and cumbersome set-fire (with excessive difficulty in focusing). dark fiber, not to mention the poor quality of the image when shooting at 300mm. If you search for a whole do to FF cheap think is ideal, within the limits it has.

Pros: zoom range, good sharpness in relation to covered focal, stabilizer, silent motor, portability thanks to the zoom lock, IF.

Cons: Price that had the new resolution at the edges to TA, but just close a couple of stops and greatly improve for the rest in my example I can against others.

Opinion: Good lens handyman to stick to the car and bring on a trip around his neck throughout the day thanks to the zoom lock that prevents unwanted elongation. Equipped with a good zoom range for the FF becomes even more interesting for the APS-C of becoming a Nikon 42-450. The engine while not an ultrasonic is fast and quiet, only in low light conditions at the maximum focal shows some hesitation, but nothing too disturbing. Interesting to get used to the situations in which it is not advisable to change optical continuously. The sharpness of the edges to the minimum focus is not exciting, while the center is always more than decent, in view of the long zoom range, but just close a couple of stops and greatly improves. I highly recommend it.

Pros: comfortable to carry, is a handyman, excellent stabilizer,

Cons: using the zoom very often does not find the focus,

Opinion: discreet image quality, certainly not like a Canon, but the biggest problems? the focus that often does not find and the opportunity of the photo on the fly is lost, rn more than 2 times I removed the front lens, because internally roamed the mites, I had to clean internally with the autan, at least those seem to have disappeared, rn (too many problems) bye, Angelo,

Pros: Convenient to carry giro.rnSu APS-C earns a considerable escursione.rnOttimo stabilizer that earns at least 3 stops. rnAberrazione contained color, good management of the flare! rnMessa focus definitely very fast to be a Tamron for less than 600 Euros.

Cons: At full aperture image quality a bit 'poor especially at the edges but certainly not as shocking as others say ignorant comments. AF / 8 to F/11 quality is decidedly soddisfacente.rn

Opinion: I took this lens after selling the 70-200 f/2.8 because it was too heavy to carry around and not doing portraits and weddings for me useless. I gave up quality "fearful" of the tamron to go to this so when I say that the quality is a bit 'poor you must consider that I come from a very very positive in terms of quality (F / 4 the tammy 70-200 is a LAMA). Despite all this lens is a good compromise for me and certainly satisfactory. I recommend it as a handyman for both APS-C to FF.

Pros: Objective very versatile, useful as a handyman for SLR FF or APS-H. Extremely lightweight, excellent zoom range. The bokeh is very good.

Cons: Like all the objectives 11X is clearly a compromise. Between 200 and 300 mm loses a bit of quality (knead a little bit). Autofocus a bit slow.

Opinion: I had for a long time the Canon 28-300 IS USM, but I was tired of its weight (1.7 kg). I then bought the Tamron 28-300 for those photographic output without obligation or travel where lightness and comfort are important, even at the expense of performance photography. And I must say that the Tamron has proved much better than is commonly painted! Clearly, the Canon is a cut above, but the Tamron is still decent, even if the focal length maximum is a little dark. The colors are a bit, well, more "rigid", ie with less nuances of the Canon, but they are pleasing. Yet the focus is not too bad. If I had to give it a vote, giving a 10 to Canon 28-300 (for reference of all-rounder), the Tamron takes 8 (and costs and weighs 1/3 of the Canon!)
