Pros: Pretty much everything

Cons: If you buy it then you will no longer like the "normal" lenses, very evident focus breathing

Opinion: I have owned it for 3 months and I will have taken over 3000 photos, a little hesitant to the "limitations" that from a fixed, but in the end in practice I have not removed it from the camera (A7C2), sharp lens, fast a beautiful blur, it hooks the eye even in really low light conditions where the zooms limp. At night it is the best you can ask for now: if darkness falls she is "the lens" to use. Then the 35mm are a very versatile focal length, perfect for portraiture set that with 1.4 you have the blurred beautiful, creamy not extreme ... in short, "right". Reusing the other lenses and seeing the photos now that I've tried the 35GM... it always seems to me that something is missing, this lens is addictive I do not recommend it to those who make videos the focus breathing is very evident, ok there is compensation but it eats up enough millimeters, for the few times I make videos I with 0 pretensions is fine, but if I were a professional of video mmm it would not convince me too much. In its category 1.4 and PRO construction with its 500 grams or so it is unbeatable, with the A7C lenses above 600g they begin to be uncomfortable Photos in photography 10 and praise

Pros: Materials, Sharpness, Compactness, Focus, Overall Rendering, Blurred

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: The Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM is one of my favorite lenses, a real benchmark in my photographic equipment. This lens is not only incredibly sharp and compact, but it stands out especially when light starts to run low. The f/1.4 aperture offers exceptional low-light performance, allowing me to shoot confidently even after dark without sacrificing quality or detail. The bokeh is soft and natural, giving depth and three-dimensionality to the images. The autofocus, then, is fast and accurate, which makes it perfect for both street and candid portraits. For those looking for a versatile, bright 35mm with the optical quality typical of the G Master series, this lens is a certainty. Whether day or night, the 35mm f/1.4 GM is a reliable companion that never disappoints.

Pros: Weight, build quality, fast af, colors

Cons: Almost anonymous lens

Opinion: I had this lens available for a month, mainly for weddings, it is a perfect lens, even too much, and this makes it paradoxically anonymous. She is like a beautiful woman but without character, one of those who after the first outing begins to bore you ? and you can't wait to take her home. Joking aside I think it is too "clinical" and using it was not gratifying, I prefer 35 art, many will call me blasphemous but it is my opinion.

Pros: All

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: It's the 35mm I've been looking for so much. But, three months after its release and after a long search among the various 35 then available (and none that convinced me completely), I gave in to the flattery of the infamous 24 GM. Really a magnificent lens but after a few months of use, I had to admit that it was a bit wide. So, last Christmas I decided to treat myself to this spectacular glass that has all, absolutely all, the qualities of the 24 GM (which unfortunately I had to give up to be able to buy the 35) but which is definitely my size. I mounted it on the a9 and it was almost an erotic experience. Like the key in the lock... they complement each other... They have made me a skilled "vojeur".

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, weight, size, etc.

Cons: Honestly I do not find the points of the cons, perhaps the price, but we know that the quality of GM you pay!

Opinion: Warning: This lens is addictive. Once put on camera, you risk falling in love and not taking it away again! It is a masterpiece. The sharpness and image quality is at the highest level, blurred very soft and sweet. One of the best 35mm around, if not "The Best of 35mm". I used it not only for portraits, but also the landscape and the street for proof, and I was very satisfied. What can I say? The GM series confirms its highest quality.

Pros: A joy: sharpness, Af, bokeh

Cons: Don't have it

Opinion: Taken used for a few weeks. It is a real joy to photograph ourselves, always crunchy. Very sharp lens, few (if not very few) chromatic aberrations, very fast and extremely precise autofocus on the A9, bokeh. The weight is not feather but very low for the type of lens and for its qualities. You can go street quietly. Aesthetically I don't like the hood but so much so. The only real con is not having it

Pros: Sharpness, absurd bokeh, size, autofocus, three-dimensionality, construction.

Cons: So perfect that it could be "boring"

Opinion: Spatial optics, practically free of defects if not a bit of green fringing and vignetting (even closed). For the rest everything at the highest levels, even dimensions and constructions, which also make it convenient to use it on the street. The diaphragmatic ring present on all the latest GMs proves to be very comfortable. The great resolution combined with the blurred make the lens very three-dimensional, and it is not uncommon to see the "yakamoz" effect even in street shots. The only real "non-flaw" of this lens is that it is like the fellow high school nerd: too perfect in everything. Surely you can not use the defects of the lens to make a photo interesting, but at any test, even the most difficult will always take 9 or 10

Pros: Extreme sharpness, very soft bokeh, human size, aperture ring on the barrel

Cons: the price definitely

Opinion: A small masterpiece. This is the exact definition of this lens. Sharpness and resolution at the highest levels that combined with a very soft and gradual blurry make the subject come out. Three-dimensional, much more than 50GM. What about the size? A must have, one of the best 35mm around! The GM series confirms itself as an excellence.

Pros: Three-dimensionality, bokeh, sharpness, construction, flare resistance

Cons: Only the price but the quality you pay

Opinion: This lens is a prodigy of technology combined with a wonderful bokeh, the crazy sharpness at TA allows you to make portraits creating great detachment and three-dimensionality of the subject with respect to the background from the soft bokeh. Relatively light, with a solid and valuable construction (declick, mechanical release of the lampshed, etc.) you have the impression that you have a high level product in your hand. The image quality makes you fall in love with photography. I gave away the zooms that were a big limit to my photographic growth to force me to compose according to optics and this 35 really does everything with great character and quality. Crazy coating, non-existent flare.

Pros: Sharpness, absence of aberrations, weight and size, incisiveness, three-dimensionality, Autofocus

Cons: price? (but justified by surrender)

Opinion: The more I use it and the more I'm falling in love with it: it has an absurd Autofocus, to the point that with the R3 I can keep the chase on my eyes with any situation (jumping children, acrobatics, scooter jumps) also although it has a blurry a less "poetic" strand than Distagon, the rows are literally perfect: chromatic aberrations almost absent (in the distagon they were a nice problem especially in the bokeh controluce) , incredible flare control, there was no incisiveness even with the sun shot in the face, I never found myself with practically perfect files just snapped. It is also comfortable and lightweight, compact, durable. Ultimately, it's a Distagon without the flaws of the distagon, a modern lens, and if you ask me if it's worth its price I absolutely say yes. And I'm not saying that because I bought it, at first I was really in doubt about whether to keep it or not, but the more I use it, the more I convince myself that it's an incredible lens.

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, weight and size, AF, colors.

Cons: nothing

Opinion: The positives are the usual of the latest GMs, monstrous sharpness already at TA, we are at the incredible levels of the 135GM, too high contrast, on the portraits I had to soften, beautiful neutral colors but slightly tending to the heat. The beauty is that it has its own character, as mood resembles the 85 GM, compared to which it is much more engraved, but with a very similar bokeh, I dare say dreamy. The AF on the A73 and A7R3 is super fast, I guess the better it can be on the last ML. The assessment of size and weight is extremely positive. For the price, in my opinion it is not a defect, it is a unique lens with primacy characteristics in every field, and of course quality is paid for. Simply extraordinary goal!
