sent on 03 Ottobre 2020 Pros: Sharpness, price Cons: Apart from the opening, I have to think about it... Opinion: As already mentioned for the 60mm of the same series, I do not know why Sigma has branded these lenses (including 30mm) as Art. Famously the fixed Art are f/1.4 as in fact the Contemporary series... Boh. That said, the 19mm is a good compact, light lens, with a sufficiently fast and above all quiet af. It is not stabilized but is not a problem as sensor stabilization (Lumix Gx80) is exploited. The very minimal design I like and goes pretty well with the machine I use. The choice of the smooth dial is as questionable as the design... may like it as not but I personally do not bother, especially because used automatically, I do not need to rotate it. They could still put some tactile references... Just right for... Pretty sharp even at TA Unlike the 60mm that immediately hit me and I will never sell it, the 19mm still has to give me the same feeling, maybe because it's only 2.8? I like the focal as well as the colors and sharpness. It's definitely not the best you'll find on the market, especially when compared with the 20mm Panasonic and the 17mm Olympus that have more than one brightness stop but the value for money can justify buying it.
sent on 18 Luglio 2017 Pros: Low distortion, Reduced size Cons: Inadequate quality to a fixed optic. F 8 is the best focal point and is worse than 1650 at the same diaphragm and same focal point Opinion: I did a comparison test with the sony SELP 1650A kit. My notice has nothing more than the small zoom. Indeed enormous aberration cromaticarnI do not fade as dxomark indicate it with a higher clarity. This is the video that compares the shots in rawrnhttps: //www.youtube.com/watch? V = ad9UBE5leUk & feature = youtu.bernThe test applies to the same shot made with both The lenses at all focal points. F8 in the center is identical to the kit while the edges literally s ....
sent on 11 Luglio 2017 Pros: Excellent sharpness, very responsive and silent Cons: From off it makes the noise of surprise in Easter egg (The surprise is that by turning on the noise disappears) Opinion: Excellent value for money. I did not find the AF for anything loud but a slight change in diaphragm. About sony a6000 is perfect. Nothing to do with the disappointing zoom kit 16-50 which, from my point of view, devalued more than the good potential of the machine itself. Probable next lens ... sigma 30mm 1.4. Along with canon 5d I do not need any more
sent on 11 Giugno 2017 Pros: Light, good construction, beautiful colors, very interesting focal length Cons: Barrel distortion evident in some situations (can be corrected in post-production). AF not really fast and bad at "guessing". Purple fringing Opinion: I review the Micro version 4/3. Discreet goal, worth its price. It is pleasant to the eye and to the touch, with a modern design, well looked after given the price, which even includes the lampshade. After using the Olympus 14-42 II R zoom kit I must say that, as I had hoped, the optical quality of the images (including the color rendering) is much higher. Unfortunately some weaknesses have it (almost acceptable given the price), in order of impact from my point of view: - Thanks to the fact that it is semi-grandangle, in some scenes you notice an annoying distortion of type "fisheye" or "barrel" (center of the frame reaching out to us). You can remove it in posts but sacrificing the corners of photos, which is often annoying. To be a fixed optics and not even very wide-angle, I expected less distortion. - The AF is not the quickest (but it is silent), and often does not conclude precisely. In this, the M. Zuiko are much superior. I recommend focusing in the center and recomposing. - The lens almost does not withstand the purple fringing at all. The focal length (19mm, which becomes 38mm on FF) is in my opinion a great passepartout, not too wide-angle but does not prevent the resumption of panoramas (such as the 25mm). I had to choose only one LF for travel, this one. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend it instead of the 14-42 in kit to improve the quality of your images, have more brightness and blurry (f2.8 vs. about f4 to 19mm), and train yourself to think better about the frame, being this a lens Fixed. I do not recommend it for professional needs, (maybe it still makes it better on E-M1, I have always used it on E-PL3). PS: It's built with a "floating" element, so it's not already broken if you shake it you feel something moving inside... :)
sent on 08 Maggio 2017 Pros: Sharpness, price, lens hood included Cons: Poor flare resistance, more elegant focus ring than praticarn Opinion: I tried the Sigma 19 mm on the Sony Alpha 6000. The optics show up with a sleek and modern design, but a practical rubber cover on the focus ring would not spoil it. The mechanism is fluid.rnThe most interesting feature is sharpness: it does not disappoint even at edges and corners. Distortion is present but in line with the focal type. Chromatic aberrations are easily eliminated in post-production. The only real defect is a poor resilience to the flare. The price is really interesting. Kit comes with a hood and a soft bag.
sent on 17 Febbraio 2017 Pros: Price, Sharpness discreet, lightweight Cons: Aesthetically horrible, plasticky bill Opinion: Goal that use of A6000, optically I have little to say, it makes photos more than discrete, sharp, does not distort particolarmente.rnLa bill is horrible, it's all of mediocre plastic, except the bayonet. Aesthetically it is the worst I've ever seen slow and worsens the already horrendous Sony.rnrnIo body that I came from fuji I was used at other levels of aesthetic fetishism and materiali.rnMa even the canon or 24 STM 50 STM that are of equal-end lenses price, are much higher as aesthetics and materials.
sent on 07 Dicembre 2016 Pros: Crisp, bright enough, light Cons: Some flare but not much and a slight distortion easily repaired in pp, tends to overexpose a lot in low light. Opinion: First impression from the use of two half giornate.rnrnQuesto "runaway horse" produces on m4 / 3 very sharp images in jpeg files clearly defined and consistent as long as you know how to manage well the light and diaphragms, thus forcing a lot to play with time exposure, management of light and shade depending on the circumstances, diaphragms and iso ... which I tasted because it brings into play the practice of the operator and to force impratichisce things. It seems to have to do with objectives 35 mm 80s, but with a definition of all respect. The loss of sharpness at the edges and almost irrelevant already in TA. A small lens that makes school ... to make up some bones on the field ... sometimes cursing and other rejoicing. focal ideal for street and photos everyday. I will continue to stressarlo (and stress me) soon to find more merits and limitations. I forgot: im MF the focus ring is very sensitive but very well modulated and precise.
sent on 25 Novembre 2016 Pros: Sharpness, MAF, quality / price ratio Cons: Nobody Opinion: I bought qiesta lens about a year ago, and the use of omd EM10 II. Has an exceptional value for money, as the whole series art 60mm and 30mm for m43 ... The sharpness is maximum already at TA, we were stunned, closing improves everything, including some chromatic aberration that occurs at RT. The MAF is fast, and especially the minimum distance is incredible. The only flaw, personally, is the focus ring, smooth, I do not like. Apart from this is an exceptional lens, equivalent to 38mm on a micro four also terzi.Ho the 60mm qiesta series, and even those is exceptional, with a sharpness comparable al75mm ZUIKO. highly Recommended
sent on 24 Marzo 2016 Pros: Economic. Light. clear optical performance and good contrast. Cons: Poor resistance to flare. Smooth ring of fire, unintuitive. A mixture of classic and modern performance. Opinion: I use it on sony a6000. And 'economic well-it built, but remains plastic with metal shell. The autofocus on the Sony is fine, with the limit in pursuit afc with points only on the central stage. It is an equivalent 28mm. In general you will find just the rendering of a classic 28mm to 7-8 items. Vignetting not excessive but visible and less sharp edges up to f5 / 6 - f8, the center already clear at f2.8. There are aberrations, magenta at the edges, particularly in high-contrast areas and in front of the plane of focus. Stopping down everything improves. Resistance to flare, is poor, type of lens hood as supplied (round) helps as little would help, place the screen for reflections on the exit pupil. A good lens, honest as usual Sigma, with outstanding performance, without being special, a bit 'like miniwide series of the last century.
sent on 25 Maggio 2015 Pros: Value for money, sharpness wide open, weight, hood standard, excellent colors of Oly and Pana, fast AF. Cons: You have to make your hand to ring for manual focus. Opinion: Excellent lens nothing to say to try a lens bought cheap and compact, and with great surprise I found a large lens quality! RnNitidezza good already wide open, fast AF, lens hood as standard, extremely compact dimensions, the package is equipped with very accurate even the usual soft case sigma, of course proportionate all'ingombro.rnPer now flaws I found none, perhaps the only thing you have to do some hand to ring the manul focus, as not being milled may be difficult to set.
sent on 28 Agosto 2014 Pros: Quality / Price ratio - Weight and Dimensions - Equipment - Construction Cons: CA and distortion (correctable in LR) Opinion: I chose this wide angle compared to the Sony 16 2.8 for the highest resolution at the edges and especially in the center, where already a TA there is absolutely no comparison. The focus is on rapid and Sony A6000 uses the new hybrid system as the other two Sigma lenses (30mm and 60mm). It's not a monster of sharpness but for the price (paid € 160 new) is the perfect all-rounder. Excellent and impeccable construction equipment (container and lens hood included).
sent on 18 Dicembre 2013 Pros: lightness - image quality - F2.8 - Lens Hood series Cons: I do not know Opinion: I have the previous version, with the knurled knob, for Sony NEX. Compact, lightweight, excellent image quality, no distortion. Great as to leave attached to the car for photos from all days of quality. Nell'astuccio black Sigma has also put the hood for a simple object and complete. As said for the 18-55mm sony, even if the card says "NO fulltime MF," setting the machine on focus hybrid between manual and automatic (on camera bodies where this is possible), the ring of focus is always active to fix the focus so full time. Straining can not find the "counter", perhaps the ring of focus in my copy is a bit 'leggerina and little braking.
