First of all it has an affordable price, an all-iron construction and most importantly a character also due to its construction defects that makes this lens a viable alternative to a modern 50mm 1.8. To tell the truth then I did not take many photos with this lens, but I had a lot of fun with manual focus and blur. Mounted with adapter on my Sony a7II I had no problem. I definitely recommend this lens to those who want to experiment and have fun.
