Pros: Sharpness, Stabilisation in combination with OM1(IS-Sync), pump zoom

Cons: Weight, focus limiter of the camera only with single AF,

Opinion: With this lens you reach at maximum 1200 mm referred to 35 mm. The IS is great. You do not need a tripod any longer to keep the camera in position, but with such a focal length you need a fast shutter speed to control the movement of your subjects. You need some time to get used to the heavy lens. Finding bird in flight is easy using the pump zoom. Bird detection and C-AF work well with the OM1. Macros can be taken of greater distance, for example butterflies, dragonflies and so on. You can accelerate the AF by using the focus limter of the lens. The imagequalitiy is very good over the complete focal range. I take about 90-95 % of my pictures with this lens. Exceptions are landscape (12 -100 mm Pro) and extreme macros(60 mm Macro). Keeping the magnification in mind you can get very good results witrh this lens.

Pros: Exceptional lens that goes very well with my em1x, fast with a scary stabilizer, recommended x those who do not want to break the bank with the Olympus 150-400.

Cons: None because personally I have not found any, if you want to remember perhaps a little the weight but with the em1x it balances great.

Opinion: To acquire and take photos then you will see that all those inferences and negative advice from some users disappear. Try x believe . I wanted to say that unfortunately many users try a lens for a short time and then do the reviews without thoroughly trying the lens. I have owned this lens for about 2 years coupled with the 300 f.4 is Olympus and I must say that differences if there are are at the maximum aperture, but they are imperceptible and above all if it is not specified it goes unnoticed. I add that you have a zoom in photographic hunt and the dream of every photographer is to be able to change framing without changing positioning. I believe that the future is now zooms that have now reached an extraordinary quality that is the envy of fixed lenses.

Pros: It is interesting to be able to reach 600 mm, even more so with the possibility of using the duplicator

Cons: Weight outside the M43 standard, imbalance at maximum focal length. Auto focus not up to par, very slow compared to my usual 300 f4 pro. Somewhat questionable sharpness.

Opinion: I had perhaps left with too high expectations. Tested on a decidedly bright day. Despite the shots taken both on a stand and on a tripod, the sharpness performance leaves quite a lot to be desired towards and at maximum length. A little better at short focal length. The AF did not satisfy me at all, I found it very slow and immediately loses the subject. Bad experience. I would have been willing to pretend not to know that it is a Sigma rebranded Olympus with a doubling of the price but the performance is too below expectations

Pros: Sharpness at all focal lengths when used in the right way.

Cons: Weight

Opinion: I bought this optic on Amazon for 1900 euros and not 2669, it was a period in which the OM System cashback and an Amazon offer were added. I was a bit skeptical but I saved a lot of money. I already knew about the weight and to this day I accept it given the constructive goodness of the lens. Sharp images, excellent stabilization that works together with that of the OM1 make it very different from the Sigma to which aesthetically it resembles a lot. I can take sharp photos without carrying around the tripod, which already compensates for the weight of the lens. I have a focal length equal to a 1200 referred to the 35mm. The criticisms are always those made to Olympus both for the camera bodies and also for the lenses. you can be Canonists or Nikonians or Sonyists, but let's not forget that it must be those behind the camera who feel comfortable and feel satisfied with what you get. It depends on our expectation and above all on the way of interacting, in this case with a 4/3 sensor and with excellent quality Zuiko lenses. So let's not wear out our brains if one brand had been better than another, but let's have fun coming up with ideas and learn to interact with what we have chosen in our photographic journeys. Greetings to all

Pros: Stabilization, pump zoom.

Cons: Weights for an M43, a spitting copy of the Sigma, optically questionable.

Opinion: I tried this lens by accident, meaning I was in the right place at the right time. Practically the copy of the Sigma, dimensions and weights are the same, and here opens a parenthesis on the actual willingness of OM to invest in its own projects and not copied by competitors, so far we have seen an OM System Mark2 that is the same as the first with a slight update of the AF, the 12-40 II the same as the first, projects and lenses that Olympus already had in the project that has left to OM that so far does not seem to have invested in nothing. The lens in question at full focal length is unmanageable, other than stabilizer you need the tripod inevitably, but above all it is dark for an M43 that already has a small sensor that starting from 3200 or 6400 iso inevitably suffers from noise ... Let's forget the judgment with multipliers, it doesn't even make sense to talk about it. In conclusion, at home you take a few good shots in broad daylight but with a lot of waste. Useless optics according to my very modest opinion.

Pros: Focal length, sharpness

Cons: Everything else

Opinion: Happiness? Having sold it. A boulder in disguise. The least sensible optics for my kit to date at a disproportionate price. 150 - 600mm and Wildlife? Maybe! I found it practically unusable with my om-1 for small birds as the autofocus, except in single mode, there is no way to make it collaborate in dynamic situations. Dark for ungulates and the like. Maybe for those who go to a static shed with confident animals it will be liked, but I do not recommend it to those who do true naturalistic. I went back to my beloved 300mm f.4 which is a reliable jewel compared to this lens. Unbalanced when you open the zoom, bulky. Boh what to add, maybe we haven't found each other since day one, but I'm happy not to have her anymore. It might make sense as a static long-range optics if it cost a lot less than the current price. I plan to try it again on om-1 m2 in the future to see if the autofocus has improved.

Pros: Stabilization, focal length, quality over the entire focal length, especially at 600mm I found it very engraved, a wonderful blur

Cons: To be a micro 4/3 the weight is certainly the size is not really suitable for the system, but you get used to it, the pump zoom, the price could perhaps be a little lower

Opinion: Before writing this review of mine I tested it for more than a month, in fact the results came after using it for at least a few days, The first impression it gave me is the quality on the entire focal length, I had already heard discordant opinions at the longer focal lengths and I immediately tried my hand at the maximum focal range, I have always used the monopod with all long focal lengths, but I have also done handheld tests, and the quality appeared excellent to me, I also own the 300f4 and the 150-400f4.5 and from my comparative tests it does not differ much from these two super optics, I put it just below not so much for the quality of sharpness, But for the operability that the pros have wider apertures and consequently you can use the lower iso, a lens to master well it takes a bit of use but that can give great satisfaction, I will definitely put other files here on Juza so you can realize its quality.
