Pros: Image quality and robustness.

Cons: A bit bulky, given the size I would have opted for a 67 filter attachment.

Opinion: A lens designed without compromise for the best possible image quality! Impeccable sharpness from 10 and excellent blur I would give 9. The only defect in my opinion is the lack of a tripod bracket, which can also be purchased as an option (I had it on the CANON EF 100 macro and it was very comfortable) and the really important dimensions for the focal length. Given the generous size of the barrel I would have opted for a 67 filter attachment, which was comfortable.

Pros: Nikon mom's outstanding lens.

Cons: perhaps on the display you could manage the magnification ratio and perhaps it could go up to 2. but small stuff.

Opinion: Really a great lens, taken with an offerton in the Brazilian forest... (it's pitiful, but allow me :-)...). At first I had some difficulty in managing the focus precisely. but with the help of focus peaking, and closing the right (easily up to f22) you can get excellent results. I like the grip and the feel. the weight is just right. (weighs as much as the 24-120). I use it every now and then also for landscapes and even there the quality is very high. super recommended for the genre, according to many the best macro lens for Z systems, also considering the FTZ + F mount pairs.

Pros: Sharpness, weight, MAF, smoothness of the dials

Cons: Very flexible to the touch, non-adjustable and very short display life

Opinion: Undoubtedly a macro that does very well the yield and quality of the images are not in question, slightly longer than its little brother 105mm f/2.8 G ED VR but not for this heavier, transportable and with a very low weight, lens that does its job not only for macro but also for portraiture, maf precise and without delay (except for extreme light conditions) focus rings and apertures have a nice fluidity but remember that they are electronic and reprogrammable, so physically you don't move anything if you move them with the lens off. To date I have not found any particular aberrations or flares to report (in case I edit the post). Beautiful natural colors and very progressive and "pasty" blur. It has both the distance selector and the M/A maf selector, and a reprogrammable FN key. If nothing to say about the quality of the lenses, about the quality of the materials with which it is made are in my opinion very plasticky and not very quality, it certainly gains in lightness compared to the 105mm F-mount but parsonally I would have preferred to feel a little more quality at the expense of the weight for this reason my grade is 9. Last thing to point out is a made in thailand, against the old made in Japan. Here too, personally, I would have preferred the Japanese parent company, but now the market is like this.

Pros: Fantastic

Cons: Perhaps excessive battery consumption, but still to be verified

Opinion: Hello everyone, I have this wonderful lens, recently purchased, and since I bought it I have the impression that the moment I use it the camera battery drains faster. Does it happen to you too? I don't know if it's normal, or if it is, you'll have an explanation. Excuse the ignorance. Thank you all

Pros: Sharpness, ergonomics, lens hood, weight, oled display, 1:1 focus from f/4.5 to 51.

Cons: It lacks a physical button to activate or deactivate the stabilizer, OLED display timer too short, manual focus control only electronic, again and again Nikon offers the housing for CL-C6 lenses, these lenses deserve much more!

Opinion: First approach with this lens, which for me is the third macro lens. Nothing to say about the quality of the files it produces, coupled with my two Nikon Zs: the Z6II and the Z50. Well balanced, you have a product that, despite its mostly plastic construction, conveys a nice feeling of solidity and accuracy. Controls all at hand, physical keys with precise and soft engagements, the ring controls are very soft and very silent, the manual fire is "Stepper Motor", which involves a certain slowness of movement, you just have to get used to it, but it is not the best, the OLED multifunction display is very comfortable, too bad that the 10-second timer is rather insufficient, It saves energy, but you always have to act on the power button, I would also have preferred a physical button for activating or deactivating the stabilizer, but it is not a big problem, since it is mainly used for the use of the cameras on the tripod. The focus is extraordinarily efficient, the possibility in 1:1 mode to close down to f/51 I find striking, of course, diffraction allowing... But having such a high depth of field is one more possibility in the 1:1 macro world. On the quality of the files and the operating mode in a strictly macro environment, I reserve a more in-depth test, that's all for now!

Pros: all

Cons: nothing

Opinion: The most resolving optics I've ever owned.... for now I have only done static tests but you already understand everything very well ... I am a fan of sharpness and I believe that 100% magnification of files produced by the Z9 are the best proof of the quality of a lens... the thing that nn I expected was to find a similar engraving even at full opening .... What more do you want from a macro lens? As for the autofocus I can not yet say anything until nn come out insects ... You will see the possible difference with the other macros I owned.

Pros: lightness, sharpness, autofocus, spectacular manual focus. very fast. very good.

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Arrived today and tried immediately, excellent with the Z5: machine and lens very well balanced and light. a bit plastic if referred to the zeiss 100 but very manageable. only a few shots but I am already very satisfied with the choice. excellent button for focus limitation and well-built hood, with lock. excellent focus in manual.

Pros: Breathtaking performance on different photographic genres: from portrait to landscape, up to macro/close up where the 1:1 factor makes it reach a fantastic detail. Absence of aberrations and distortions. Af doesn't miss a beat. Objective that can not be missing in the kit of the professional and the advanced amateur photographer

Cons: Don't have it

Opinion: Bought a few days ago, I'm still testing it but the results achieved so far have excited me. Superior to the counterpart F and Sigma of equal focal length and aperture. It is a lens with important dimensions such as its performance, measuring 85 mm x 140 mm, for a total weight of 630 grams, resulting reliable and well balanced. In my opinion, to put it in summary, Nikon has churned out a sumptuous lens!

Pros: Sharpness , lightness , colors , function button

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: Just bought and immediately put to the test, exceptional lens a sharpness that splits! Mounted on my Z6II at 1600 iso go around the house to photograph everything that goes through your mind, compared with my Sigma 105 2.8 macro of a few years ago there is no comparison much faster focus, silent, light, colors .... I also use it for portrait and I must say excellent, beautiful the blurred, as for the macro sharp from edge to edge in essence I found only merits, I highly recommend it!

Pros: resolution, lightness, flexibility

Cons: Plastic appearance

Opinion: Taken to give a native macro to the Z7, it immediately proved to be perfect for the purpose, competitive with the best existing macros mounted on the D850 and superior in yield at the corners. Above all it has proved to be valid as a lens for portraits, having as its only limit to stop the diaphragm 2.8, and landscapes. Justified the value for money. If it had had a 2-aperture, it would have been perfect for all uses. The blur is still pleasant, though not great. the physical sensation at its handling is not as pleasant as that of more "metallic" optics but the low weight, also in relation to the size, is another advantage of the lens. For those who, like me, who need to reduce weights, with the obvious limits, replace the 70/200 of the same line in travel. Basically, recommended.

Pros: Image quality in all its aspects. Programmable function button. VR. Light. Price more than adequate for quality.

Cons: Absence of focus ring lock

Opinion: We are faced with something extraordinary. To complement my profession I have used and continue to use any macro lens suitable to be mounted on F-mount, I have four bodies, between reflex and milc. The difference in image quality between the old micro 105 vr and this monster is huge, especially on the Z7, The resolution of the lens is sensational, as is the ability to read details in the corners of the frame. Chromatic aberration absent, very low color fringing. I realize that I could be disproved by the reviews that will soon come out, but I doubt it. Lightness is another strong point for those like me who have to shoot freehand, the old f-mount gave more feeling of solidity having the metal barrel, but at the end of the day I thank the fact that this is plastic. I would have only liked there to be a ring or a button to prevent inadvertently moving the focus ring, having to make all the shots with the same magnification ratio. It is a lens that if you are willing to sacrifice a little blurry is also great for portraits, its bokeh is very creamy.
