sent on 10 Marzo 2021 Pros: Lightness... tilting monitor... Sensor Cons: a bit noisy at high iso..cumbersome external controls to be reached in manual Opinion: hello everyone I am a beginner x whose opinion is worth x my experience... switched from analog to digital after many years I bought my first digital nikon d 5200 with lens 18-105..then also targetss such as the 70-300 tamron or the tokina wide angle 11-16 f2.8 and I must say that nn has never disappointed me.. made several sports photos,,panoramic.. still life.. etc he has always done his duty even at night... certainly after several years you realize that on the market there are more suitable machines (it is like the car to go from a low displacement to an off-series ) the differences are there.. then there is the tilting monitor that looks like a jerk but in some circumstances it is helpful, while x iso maybe needed an extra effort from nikon... cmq satisfied x the first experience the advice.
sent on 27 Febbraio 2020 Pros: File quality Cons: Limitations of a consumer product Opinion: Between 2016 and 2017 I made some beautiful images, some inserted in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax0f1OP6Xq4 Definitely among the entry levels is one of the best successful, especially at the sensor level. I talked about how you can also take advantage of full frame lenses on dx machines in my channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbIdp3DUDqB-C1Aqn9KMAXQ/ Many Mpixels and if paired with a performance lens like the fixed ones from the big opening goes that is a pleasure. The mobile display offers a lot of convenience. From this model onward this series has only been repeated except the D5500 which is really better. It doesn't have the AF engine and the second diaphragms ring... it's always an entry level. As reactions and menu is quick. Vote 9 in its category.
sent on 24 Agosto 2017 Pros: 24m pixels on sensor 18x24mm. Accept any lens with Fmount attack in M ??mode. Never had dirt on the sensor. Cons: Small handle for medium and large hands. Not high autonomy. There is no basic function. Opinion: Fine detail resolution overcomes all other nikon including 36mega full frame pixels. Counting on the hand there is little to say about this point. A full frame should have nearly 50m pixel to have the same detail. Conversely, it forces you to not shoot at bigger than 400iso, otherwise noise makes the fine detail useless. Despite that I used it very well at night and flanked on a telescope with good results at low ISO long minutes always win although this requires more laborious placements like Bigourdan. The sensor never broke me despite endless gear changes (almost fixed focal lengths) and nighttime hours with the open sensor with mirror telescopes. Not very good battery, one battery can be enough to discharge, in other cases two or even three depending on the use. The handle is very small and with a firm grip almost certainly presses the cross cursor involuntarily. Accept lenses even in the Q series and at least in M ??allows you to use some good old optics. RiguardOr settings unfortunately lack fast-timing sincroflash, and some m-up type functions to separate the mirror motion from the shutter. A thumbnail preview would be appreciated. The telescope orientable display is a jolly not just as in other unfavorable positions. I think this is a commercially speaking low-key car that, if well exploited, can give you the best bites at the top of the peak, although unfortunately you must remember that you can not have the flexibility and completeness of other more professional models.
sent on 05 Aprile 2017 Pros: light, tilting screen, compact, good sensor (for the category), af fast enough Cons: lack af scooter, not Tropicalized Opinion: I bought more than a year ago and I used it as birthdays in the summer with 35 degrees in the rain in the cold and I took pictures of all kinds, has never let me pity you can not very well hold the iso ups and qusto for certain types of photos and some places it is a limitation not to little and must sgavignarsela in other ways, the lack of af scooter in some ways it's a shame because using goals a little old that support af but do not have a inside the engine, you must then do everything yourself manually. otherwise it's a very good camera for those who are beginners and want to start with something more than just entry level.
sent on 28 Febbraio 2017 Pros: Tilting screen, lightweight, compact body, many quick selection buttons easily accessible, sturdy, integrated flash, price, articulated display, blinding AF illuminator (powerful).... funny!!! Cons: One adjusting dial. Live-View switch. Limitation 1/4000 Opinion: It is compact and light, but sturdy. The very rich sensor for an APS-C is really dense, but in-camera noise reduction is effective. In the switch between View-finder and live-view takes a little time, I recommend to use the viewfinder more often to shoot. At high ISO I was really surprised; Despite the very dense sensor the images often have little noise, in raw it snaps quietly up to 3000 ISO. For less than 1000 euros in coupled with the Tamron 16-300 is a treat. Very very good resolution, does not knead like direct competitors (both canon and Sony): In particular Canon has disappointed me from the tests done because despite the less dense sensors there are more problems (!) than with Nikon. Not to mention the distinctly different solidity. I recommend the d5200 because it does not disappoint. If you don't need nonsense like WiFi and GPS is an optimum camera
sent on 08 Gennaio 2017 Pros: Light, cheap, tilting the screen, the sensor seems very good. Cons: loud snap, manual you are almost forced to take your eye from the viewfinder to the adjustment, the viewfinder does not facilitate the manual focus. Opinion: I bought this car as the first SLR body driven by an offer that after one year would still tempting, most likely will change it for a d7XXX only for the fact that so I can also use my optical series D autofocus, very comfortable the tilting the screen, if it is used in P or semi-automatic is very practical, and are unable to use quickly, perhaps even setting the ISO on customizable button, manually do a little 'hard work does not pull the eye of the viewfinder, the autonomy of stack enables 400/500 shots always using the screen (checking Patona battery 350/400) mandatory almenoo buy a spare battery, shooting is very noisy and this in my opinion the limits a number of occasions. The viewfinder is very good, but focuse hand is almost impossible without using the indicator light (at least for me that I struggle with the view). The videos are of excellent quality even though it is a bit 'cumbersome use Liveview. Coupled to 18-140 sfadorns pretty pictures. After years of compact camera and bridge (that I literally worn) I was really happy shopping and solidity that gives off this machine, you can use all the optics that I had for the analog is priceless!
sent on 09 Marzo 2016 Pros: price, weight, tilting monitor, sensor Cons: noisy at high ISO, few external commands Opinion: My first real "camera" purchased more than a year now and I can be quite satisfied with the choice made. I use it in a very amateur way to outings or birthday parties and various occasions so I have not yet made full use of its potential but the impression I have is that it reaches its limit especially indoors soon enough because of low resistance to high ISO, say good up to 1600 over I try not to go, and the lack of internal AF which does not allow the use of all optical. I am still to advise those who want to appear in this wonderful world without fainting and then possibly move on to something more "serious" once you understand what you want from your machine.
sent on 07 Dicembre 2015 Pros: ergonomic tilt monitor, sensor Cons: Battery life, AF Opinion: Meanwhile, let's say that it depends very use, may be the best entry-level as it can be a mediocre Nikon. It depends on how you approach. For me it was the second Nikon after 3100 and I must say that the jump there was, but there was little. The tilting monitor that initially may be silly, is then essential. The f is below average, but what is claimed ... rnHa a great sensor. For me it is a great camera to take away on a trip and to make the street. Less suitable to rest. Excellent entry level
sent on 27 Agosto 2015 Pros: Price, rotatable display Cons: I do experience to test at higher levels and evaluate it better Opinion: I am a newbie so my judgment leave things as it is. I try to speak my mind as a user who has decided to enter this fantastic world with its first SLR. Meanwhile, I say now that every day we discover new things, especially for someone like me, it comes from compact machines. It 'a fantastic experience and allows you to improve and improve yourself along the way and learning new things. With this machine, I'm starting to learn the theory and I'm starting to make purchases (tripod, filters etc) that allow me to bring out the maximum (for what is my knowledge of the art camera) from this Nikon. I recommend it to all those who do not know whether photography can appassionarli or less because it has a very competitive cost and the photographic result is definitely enough to most people.
sent on 07 Luglio 2015 Pros: Good to begin with and do not spend too much, swiveling screen, weight Cons: iso noise, noisy, focus Opinion: The car is not bad, but it is certainly high fantastica.rnA Iso is disastrous. the noise is annoying, then, or mounting a bright lens or shooting in a good light, or you'll never get clean, sharp picture. This is a common rule of course, but this is particularly true fotocamera.rnSe someone wants to start doing some photo with something starts to get serious, this product can open up the road. More you practice, the more the limits of this product will be made evident.
sent on 19 Febbraio 2015 Pros: Price, weight, handle, sensor, adjustable screen, yield Cons: Those of any entry level (ergonomics, viewfinder mainly), non-ISO invariant sensor. Opinion: An entry level is always an entry level and in this segment the only thing that can be considered is the rendering of the fact sensor, in good substance still today, reviewing some raw I consider one of the most loyal Nikon entry in terms of colors/yield , good profiling, dynamic and chromatic range, slightly colder due to the presence of the AA filter that still mitigates much other problems like moire and AC, if we want unique Neo is the only 24mpx Nikon circulating non-ISO invariant and recoveries tends to have much Chromatic error on Shadows; For the rest good the reclining screen, weight and sturdiness, bad viewfinder, little bright and small, useless to focus in manual; It's good for those who want to start taking pictures shooting in JPG in consideration at the price on the used, not so far at the end from the machines series 5xxx outputs after, but I always recommend to evaluate immediately with a little extra effort at least the semi-pro band.
sent on 30 Aprile 2013 Pros: Lightweight, small and easy instinctive to use, good 's handle (for those with small hands) with goals very heavy, excellent resolution of 24 MP CCD, its convenient swivel screen. Cons: At high ISO you notice a little too much background noise, shutter speed not great and shot a little too rumorso Opinion: Overall, it is a good camera body slight robust and instinctive, for those who have small hands all the keys are in the right place, is working fine with goals very heavy, 24-megapixel CCD is sharp and with good resolution for me well above the "5100", although do not speak very well, I think only flaw, the background noise at high ISO stands out a bit 'too much, even his good flash. Too bad it lacks the "16 9".
