sent on 01 Ottobre 2017 Pros: zoom range, stabilizing works well Cons: small sensor Opinion: This camera has a good lens with stabilizing that works very well. On the other hand it has a small sensor that limits the image quality. But all in all it is a good poor mans choice for long range bird and wildlife camera. For the price it would not be fair to ask for more in this camera. If you want to get into bird and wildlife photography without spending a years salary on it this is probably your best option.
sent on 01 Febbraio 2018 Pros: Extraordinary focal length, excellent stabilization, good optics Cons: low autonomy, a lot of plastic, lack of raw Opinion: I'm sorry where to contradict the many shop professionals, who are a bit behind and afflicted by a quality concept anchored to the A2 press, but these megazoom bridges and in particular the P900 open up completely new horizons to photography. Of course the sensors are small and the noise grows with Iso, even if the speech is much more complex and a backlit sensor is worth the same as one with the circulation in the head, but offer the possibility of shots impossible with any camera unless you spend as if to buy a car and still resort to delusive optical gimmicks for image quality. I bought the P900 as a complement to the photographic kit and I must say that even in general use does not disfigure at all, even if its specific use is naturalistic and allow allows to capture from a distance details that with "normal" machines would require a strong cropping and thus rebalancing the quality. Of course it is better not to exceed 400 ISO, but in its limit allows cotherwise impossible. The only real flaw is the lack of the raw format that does not allow a proper post production
sent on 14 Luglio 2017 Pros: Few pro and a lot of shit in this camera. Positive is the very long focal excursion and the really good stabilization. Even in the video works well. Cons: The viewfinder is somewhat inoperable. Good, inaccurate, small, practically unusable. Focusing is decent only with plenty of light, but it gets lowered and less focuses, until it no longer works in darkness. The zoom It is slow. There is no raw file. The quality is good at 100 iso, but beyond it is significantly worse. With the arrival of the heat the rubber coatings are all detached. The battery life is too limited. Opinion: I was thinking of purchasing a great bridge bridge camera, but I'm really wrong. There are a lot of defects for a device that has a definitely high price and has very heavy sides like the totally inadequate viewfinder, poor batteries and more. It's a Camera that does not compare with other people of the same type. Also I had to replace, just bought, the sensor because it blurred.
sent on 08 Marzo 2017 Pros: incredible zoom range, excellent stabilizer for a bridge, relatively compact and lightweight Cons: battery life, a little too plastic, unusable beyond ISO 400 unless there is a good light, very mediocre viewfinder Opinion: I've had it about a year as a walking handyman or when I do not want weight. The qualities are these: really good lens with an amazing zoom range up to 2000 mm Equival. with excellent stabilizer, provided there is a good light. If the light is bad better leave it at home, or not exceed 100 ISO! RnI defects are those of a bridge that so I am not to list. The display can be seen well only if there is bright light. Better instead give up the viewfinder. The aperture range is poor, since the 400-500mm you work only at f / 6.3 and changing the exposure you have to work only on the timing because in these cases not funzioba the over / under intentional exposure. So in summary: build quality 7, 8 optical quality, stabilizer 9
sent on 05 Settembre 2016 Pros: Excursion and quality 'zoom, excellent stabilizer, quality' very good pictures at low ISO, shots still decent though perfectly exposed up to 1600 ISO articulated enough as Screen resolution and luminosita'.Comandi properly disposed. Cons: EVF sore diposto and resolution stereo migliorabile.Microfoni entered in the same pallet in the flash.Autofocus slow video Opinion: Okay as a handyman machine: with the extension zoon 24-2000 compared to 35mm, I photographed freehand formed the moon (a dream I had in the drawer for years) thanks to the truly effective stabilizer I made shots free from blur and camera shake .In the video quality 'good but slow autofocus and sound absolutely insufficente.I microphones in flash scoop absorb spurious vibration generating a really bad sound, I tried to reduce vibration by placing the adhesive pads between the flash and its headquarters, result: vibration greatly reduced but still isufficente audio !! to the top of bidges Nikon is not the best, however, do 8 to quality 'constructive and result fotgrafico.PS:Il my usual outfit consists of canon 20D (soon replaced by 80D) 18- 200 -17-50 Tamron Tamron 2.8 -50 1.8 canon.

sent on 25 Marzo 2016 Pros: Zoom, image quality Cons: Poorly maintained construction, slow zoom, very poor sight Opinion: I had started off quite biased, expecting half a crap. but I thought again When we talk about bridge superzoom you have to take for granted that they should be used only in good light, knowing that you have in your hands a beautiful toy, which can never be used in a professional way. But the photos that come out of this P900 (sometimes even with not really good light) are not bad. In the past I've had two Canon,sx40 and sx50 bridges, but this nikon overall in my opinion is slightly higher. Compared to canon, however, the quality of construction and the care of the details, as well as the keys, are far behind... for example, the zoom scale on the lens is missing, the appearance is a bit poor, and the keys are quite uncomfortable... The image quality is very good, you can't shoot in raw and in some cases the jpeg comes out a little too elaborate, let's say that the machine churns out jpeg.... "lively", sometimes even too much... The zoom is its strong point, but I was also satisfied by the autofocus, it's quite fast, but i still don't recommend taking this bridge or any other superbridge to do photo hunting, because the zoom is very slow to operate, and changing the focus takes too long compared to a telephoto lens with the reflex, plus the brightness is what it is... and iso is always better to keep them very low. But if you understand that the right use of this bridge is above all fun, and comfort, without pretending absolute perfection, then you have a lot of fun, and you also make very nice photos!! very very nice!! you can do the same photo hunt, but knowing that you can take home a few "professional" photos, but only documentary, even if in some junctures, shooting up close and with good light you can get respectable results!! Clearly my judgment is influenced by the fact that I am used to the world of reflex, and therefore to a quality of image at the top, it is clear that a user who buys this P900 as the first camera will be amazed by the photos !!! The stabilizer is effective, you can shoot freehand without too much trouble at 83x sometimes even at 1/30 Consider that to get to such a focal you have to use a 600mm on apsc and then crop considerably, in the end the 600mm will still give a higher result, even with the crop, but in some cases, for example objects or very particulars far away the P900 might surprise you
sent on 22 Febbraio 2016 Pros: The shots using only the optical zoom are EXCELLENT. Cons: Battery ? I personally believe that about 350 shots are not little. At the most, it is the charge that needs a certain time frame. The price might be a little bit lower. Besides the optical zoom requires a tripod. Opinion: A successful machine and for all. Perfect also for scholars and for those who practice birdwatching. Weight is PERFECT and sits in SUPERB way. the controls are practical too. It is not bulky and easy to carry even in the mountains. Recommended without a doubt. To end: Do not ask the impossible since any stain or photographic objective have their limitations.
sent on 21 Febbraio 2016 Pros: Can do wonders in spite of the larger sensor than a coriander, and this thanks to the incredible optical zoom, a great image processor Cons: Particularly it suffers at ISO higher average. No Raw support. the recovery time is a little slow after the burst. Opinion: 83x optical zoom!, 2 years warranty, Large rubberised grip, the side zoom control, effective image stabilization, good EVF and Vari-angle screen, scene modes bird watching, and Luna, the built-in HDR mode, Wi-Fi / connectivity NFC, GPS / GLONASS integrated, macro mode 0 cm, electronic level
sent on 17 Febbraio 2016 Pros: design Cons: battery Opinion: I have a canon power shot 50 which also goes benino.la battery lasts for even a day. a friend bought the nikon p900 by new Italian shop but not very happy .I say that the battery is not very durra. He has experience of cameras I mean regular use without overdoing it with the zoom. but really the battery lasts much nikon? but as much as in terms of photos and / or minutes / hours? thank you
sent on 13 Luglio 2015 Pros: Light, versatile, objective factotum, zoom, macro, Wi-Fi, weight ... In the technical data there is' an error has GPS! Cons: Restore Zoom's digital void, articulating LCD fragile and awkward was better type P510 is hooked to the shoulder, there is no 'chance' to put a flash, the price is not 'little Opinion: the excellent P900 versatile from all points of view I had the 510 and already 'know the advantages of this series of Nikon's powerful goal but also excellent for macros that you can to crop even with the same menu', scenes and effects complete every need, low weight and comfort 'makes me leave home many times the Nikon D7200 with the heavy 18/300 convenient Wi-Fi with Apple IOS, it will be' true that the sensor and 'a coriander I am content being repaid by beautiful shots, yesterday I tried nightscapes and I was fully satisfied by car, outstanding battery life and finally I can screw directly filters without putting the adapter, it was very annoying, certainly not at full zoom and 'manageable without a good tripod but to 1000 mm. It works well in hand thanks to the vibration, too bad you can not 'put a flash but with its 11 meters and' acceptable, the menu 'and' complete and simple user-friendly. I have recommended it to many friends, some of whichthey bought it and are satisfied even though they were a bit 'hesitant because the price could buy an SLR. decide many times is not 'easy but when you have the opportunity' to have a 2000mm and 4000mm in the digital Celtic and 'one NIKON P900 !!!
