Pros: Wight, Sharpness at all Focal Length, specially at 300mm, Weather Sealing, Very Good VR

Cons: Maybe the Price...

Opinion: First, sorry for my bad Englisch. I did not expect so much from the glass, so more I was surprised how sharp the lens is. This at all focal lengths, at 70mm i see minimal distortion, but even from 80mm this is hardly noticeable. The price may seem a bit too high, but with the weather resistance, the costs amotize again. In addition the weight, and the so far best VR which I experienced in a lens, and the absolutely inaudible autofocus make the glass for me to a perfect companion. I am really very positively surprised, from me a clear buy recommendatio. Only one Thing, Lightroom have at the Moment no Profile. I hope that will come soon....

Pros: LIGHTNESS, Sharpness, Contrast, Instant AF

Cons: Drive by wire ring nut and lack of distance scale

Opinion: The lens immediately amazed me with its lightness, sharpness and AF speed. Mind you, it's not for purely professional use, but it does what a 70-300 should do, in the best way of any other model past nikon or not. It can be taken to the mountains, quickly follows birds in flight and cars on the track, the sharpness in the center is excellent even at TA and up to 300mm, it needs to be closed to f8-11 to increase sharpness at the edges in landscape (like any other lens) The non-mechanical ring without any scale left me dumbfounded when one evening I couldn't focus to infinity. Otherwise it is a spectacular lens in its field of use

Pros: Light, easy to handle, razor-sharp up to 280mm even at T.A., excellent stabilizer up to 4.5 EV, lightning-fast AF, 9-blade aperture, focusing distance at 1.2 meters (at 300mm)

Cons: Infinity sharpness from 280 to 300mm at T.A., lack of a zoom ring lock, lack of distance scale, price of new

Opinion: Bought on hand almost like new to replace the valid 70-300 G VR, slow and inaccurate in AF on ML Nikon Z. After reading the rave reviews about Juza, I expected a blade-sharp telezoom lens at all focal lengths, even at full aperture. After numerous tests I can say with certainty that science fiction has not yet become reality and, to have "space" performance on this range of focal lengths, 600-650 euros are not enough, especially at Nikon: the 70-300 is in fact very sharp up to 280mm even at T.A., especially at close range. Then, at infinity and from 280 to 300mm, you have to close at least 2/3 stops to get good quality images. For the rest, nothing to say: very fast and precise autofocus, excellent stabilizer, respectable optical quality up to the fateful 280mm, optimal lightness and handling, nice bokeh thanks to the 9 blades of the diaphragm, improved optical scheme compared to the old 70-300 G. I would recommend it for the portability and versatility that make me almost always put it in my bag, while I would definitely leave a lens of significantly larger size, weight and price at home. Too bad I don't have the Zoom ring lock. The lens, unfortunately, extends on its own due to the force of gravity and the weight of the lenses. Overall rating 9.2

Pros: Light, well built, fast af, silent, with d500 I detect excellent optical quality, smooth focus ring.

Cons: On d810 lower quality than on d500, no distance window

Opinion: Plasticky optics someone writes, but it is light.. I consider the construction robust and solid, for excursions at high altitude it is excellent ... AFP very fast and silent (those who consider it noisy use the lens perhaps for videos and maybe the noise of the stabilizer is recorded, but let's talk about it ..) , smooth focus ring and nice to use (manual focus not available with the machine off), the distance window for hyperfocal is missing, very effective stabilization, excellent optical quality with d500, on d810 decidedly lower, Probably the lens does not solve the 36 Mega Px sensor sufficiently. For me I vote 9.

Pros: Sharpness, lightness, stabilization

Cons: nobody

Opinion: Bought used (450€) on Amazon with a 1-year warranty, it immediately gave me a great feeling for the lightness and construction, despite the fact that I think it is entirely made of plastic materials. it's exactly the type of lens I was looking for a long time for the type of use I prefer, long trekking trips in the forest, I tested it initially with the D750 and I really liked both the yield and the sharpness but when I mounted it on the D7500 I was really excited because with an equivalent 105-450 lens I can have an excellent technical compromise with featherweights to keep around my neck. Also excellent to use as a "macro". I only regret not having decided to buy it before and it will probably be, in combination with the D7500 body, my most frequent choice in my forest outings.

Pros: Sharpness, stabilization

Cons: Lack of scale distances, quite plasticky, poor build quality

Opinion: Bought on Amazon and tried it for a few shots, after which I immediately returned it. I immediately felt the feeling of having a lens of poor construction in my hands. Lightness is fine, anything goes... But maybe in this case it's a bit too much to be called a telezoom. The distance scale is missing, a detail that I really didn't expect from Nikon. Good sharpness up to 200mm, and then fades as you increase the focal length. Overall it left me very perplexed for various reasons, for € 720.00 I would have expected something more. Not knowing how to read or write, I returned it without batting an eyelid, recovering the entire amount paid. Adding a few euros I took home the Sigma 100-400 EX DG OS (C) a whole different music! You only have to look at him to realize that we are on a different planet.

Pros: Sharpness, value for money, AF speed, lightweight

Cons: lack of tropicalization

Opinion: Great lens that pairs perfectly with my trusty D7500. Given the price, I honestly have nothing to laugh about this lens. Excellent performance on all focal lengths (I do landscape and night), never had a problem so far. I've never used it to track animals on the move, so I can't tell you how it behaves on this front. A nice advantage of this lens is its lightness. This makes it great for photographic treks, as it allows me to have a great 105-400 zoom with very little weight. Obviously this is also its only defect because, given the lightness, the lens is not tropicalized. Would I buy it back? Definitely (at least for my use on DX, on FX I don't know, I should try)

Pros: Sharpness, AF speed, lightweight

Cons: For the price none.

Opinion: I took this canvas for my 26 to use during my nature excursions to have a canvas but that didn't weigh much. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the lens is really sharp throughout the hike, especially if it closes at 5.6. As for the autofocus seems born for the z6, despite the adapter does not miss a shot and I had no problems with tracking during some shots in fauna, it seems born for the z6. In addition, the lens despite the adapter does not make the machine unbalanced forward being very light. The only flaw is a bit of vignetting at the edges, but very correctable in two clicks. For the price proposed above all, I think it is a really good lens and with great satisfaction.

Pros: Weight, versatility, price

Cons: Noisy stabilizer, good sharpness but not at the highest level of the category

Opinion: I had it for a short time and sold, I hardly ever used it. It is a nice lens, light (but definitely long when extended and with the lampshade, certainly does not go unnoticed) very versatile because you can also use it on FF. Autofocus ok, slightly noisy stabilizer especially when activated. Really interesting price. Compared to the sigma 100-400 C on tripod, it was less sharp and engraved at full opening. Tests of specialized sites confirm that it is not super sharp, however the optical quality is good, especially closing at f8

Pros: Speed of focus. sharpness, weight, performance in general, spectacular VR.

Cons: Focus in unintuitive manual, although still effective

Opinion: I'm using this lens mainly for birdlife, and I have to say that it really impressed me, the focus speed is awesome, for the value for money it has in my opinion is fantastic. nothing to say, fast, precise, sharp and even the construction looks good. Also excellent is the hooking of the lampshade, precise and with dry click. I also used this lens for portraits with I have to say really great results. I really recommend it, but be careful about the compatibility of the body with the AF-P series.

Pros: value for money, af speed.

Cons: maybe not quite the maximum sharpness in TA

Opinion: beautiful lens. I needed a canvas not too pushed to accompany the never-more-without 24-105 and I must say that this is the right lens for my taste. I took it the week before the lockdown so I couldn't get out, I tried it with test shots from the balcony. but I really liked it. at TA maybe it is not very sharp, but it is also possible that "the handle" is not perfect :-)) I highly recommend, because it is quietly less than 600 or nital at a little more.

Pros: seems built for the z6,silent,sharp fast,vr effective

Cons: but just nothing

Opinion: I needed a lens to be flanked by the 24-70 on z6, if it were not that to mount it you need the ftz adapter, this looks like it was born for the z6, I didn't want to believe it, nothing to envy to much more expensive lenses, maybe the construction could be more lending, but surely it would be changed the costs as well, but nikon gave us a gift, rating 10

Pros: crisp, fast, light, with beautiful contrast, effective VR

Cons: plastic body and visible vignetting however well correct in-room

Opinion: Here's a lens that doesn't come into focus, it's just already on fire the moment you turn on the car. This small detail, which is its operational feature, is the premise for its very high speed. The quality of the files is very good, of course... not at the level of the 'top' telephoto objectives but defends itself well and ... if we want to... the 'feathers' of the bird on duty from time to time can also be distinguished well in the frame. It certainly shines with the speed of its focus system, the lightness and great effectiveness of the stabilization system, combined with state-of-the-art image quality for the category. Employed by me on an appreciable but dated D7200 (at least as AF), it showed a remarkable speed of focus that allowed me - among other things - to shoot numerous birds in flight, all perfectly in focus (never happened -to me-). Certainly, used on more efficient autofocus machines such as the D500 or the D850 (or the Z series), it can perform real miracles, also thanks to its great transportability, which makes it a perfect travel lens. If uploaded without corrections, the images show a sensitive vignetting that is perfectly corrected by machine parameters and post-production software. It may generate some doubt, about his life expectancy, the fact that he has the barrel made in the classic polycarbonate used by Nikon, but given the experience with many other lenses, these can be more 'lyse' than real problems. Grade 10 -compared to the category-

Pros: Sharp, very fast autofocus, light and well built

Cons: But no one

Opinion: I took this lens on the occasion of my recent trip to USA, matching it to a D500... What about, exceptional lens, at last at a human price. It is always sharp, even at full aperture and focal length, it is light, practical and well built, but we will see over time the mechanism of the zoom that ends... I would recommend it. Rated 10.

Pros: Unbeatable value for money. Construction. Sharpness even at the maximum focal speed and noiselessness of the autofocus.

Cons: For the moment no one.

Opinion: Bought recently taking advantage of the Nikon cashback, still used for a few shots impressed me with the sharpness and speed of autofocus, plus silent. Absolutely recommended. I use it with the D7500 with which it matches to perfection also as weight. The performance is exceptional, I have not yet got to test the stabilizer thoroughly but I think we are at excellent levels. From its also the tropicalization.

Pros: Lightweight (for its category), AF fast, silent and precise, sharp even at T.A., VR in ' Sport ' mode very effective, blurred very pleasant, beautiful colors

Cons: At the time not received

Opinion: All said in the ' pros ', for its headband it has an unbeatable value for money. It costs a bit more than the third party counterparts, but it's really worth it. If you do sports photos, or in general, with moving subject, the VR ' sport ' alone is worth the difference. Used with APS-C (D7500 + BG) It balances well with the camera body. Recommended

Pros: Embarrassing Full-aperture sharpness even from edge to edge compared to all competition, Extreme Lightness, AF Speed

Cons: Slight VR noise, maybe a bit of the cost... but there's

Opinion: I wanted at all costs a 70-300 to complete my FF kit, but I always thought it wasn't worth spending any more money on a duplicate, already having a 70-200 2.8 (the Tamron G2). I tried many third-party goals as well, but the end result never fully fulfilled me. Then I decided to buy this lens, also to create a superlight set to also associate with the D5600 that I use as a second body.. The sharpness is embarrassing to say the least, especially from the center to the edges, for a zoom, pointed out as medium-economic, to any focal point, even at 300. The automatic MAF is literally baffled: on my D750, the sound of the Step_Motor engine is absent and the moment that passes between the press of the AF button and the beep of the subject acquisition is really nil. The VR anti vibration system is efficient and with a minimum of attention I was able to shoot quietly at 1/25 without any hint of motion. The quality perceived is really high, the colors are really excellent and well balanced. Absence of chromatic aberration, only a very slight flare, at least in the tests carried out. And then, crucially, it's absolutely light.. Light... light, my D750 looks like an APS-C optics.... To try absolutely !!!!!! Update to 11/2020: I tried the optics on the D780 and all its good features seem to enhance even more with a microcontrast myst, in liveview "PERFECT" !!! Eighty-year job Nikon !!!

Pros: Weight, VR, speed set to kelp, beautiful to see

Cons: For now nothing

Opinion: Used today for the first time to a race of Drag Racing, machines and dragster, on 209 photographs me has got a barrel. The D500 always does its job in an excellent way and usually around Col 200-500, but for pictures taken on the fly without tripod the 70-300 is scary, and with a little bit of 34 degrees the weight serves.......... great lens, maybe Cara, but the quality you pay

Pros: Sharpness, quiet, fast AF

Cons: Anything, price?

Opinion: Used with the D500 today for the first time at a flower show in Turin, I just viewed 100 shots, exciting the color rendition, the blurry, outstanding in the focals and intermediate apertures... it was a good day lunminosa, remains to be tested in more conditions Difficult and at the focal and extreme diaphragms. I replaced 18-300.... and there is no comparison.... I'm satisfied.

Pros: lightness, sharpness, AF speed and quietness

Cons: for now no one.

Opinion: I bought this lens from a few days to use it both with the d800 with the d500. I purchased it to use it as a handyman for its lightness. I tried, good, its sharpness with the d500 on the same subject and with the same settings, comparing it with the Tamron 16-300 and with the Nikkor 300 mm f/4. At 300 mm, with a static subject sharpness was just below the 300 f/4. I tried it then in different situations, but I was always satisfied and made me bring home shots consistently good. Considering its price and the reason why I got it, I'm happy with our purchase.

Pros: Light, fast, quiet and very sharp.

Cons: Maybe the price but you get what you pay for

Opinion: Purchased to join him to D500 for sports shots, he immediately detected. Fast and accurate AF, don't miss a shot! Even the sharpness was way above my expectations. Highly recommend for events that require quickness and speed. PS: I honestly don't understand the low rating card (currently 8.7) ... hard to be disappointed with this lens. I noticed also that several pictures in this gallery were taken with a D3100, machine is not compatible with this view. So I think that they are shots made with the DX version, and the difference is noticeable!

Pros: All. Lightness, stabilization, focus, cost.

Cons: Vignette at the maximum focal length.

Opinion: Objective that surprised me from the first use for fast and precise autofocus, the very effective stabilizer, with the choice for normal use or sport. Color rendition alive and well contrasted. Low weight, considering the focal length, well balanced with the FF.rnUnico point to disfavor, vignette at maximum focal length. In conclusion, low cost and affordable, with a quality comparable to other much more expensive zooms. I recommend it, it will surprise you.

Pros: Everything, lightness, focus, stabilization.

Cons: For now nothing

Opinion: I took this light because it is light and easy to manage. For quick photos it has an impressive focusing speed, with 24-120 and I do not need anything else! It is not worth spending more and carrying kg of material! Turning for a historical parade where everything flows in speed, not even a picture out of focus! Although I have other quality optics, it is always in the bag!
