sent on 04 Gennaio 2025 Pros: Sharpness, three-dimensionality Cons: I don't think he has any Opinion: Lens that I have had the opportunity to use for a few days thanks to the kind loan of my friend Alessandro Vannucci and I can say that I understand why he is so fond of this 24mm! A truly well-made and high-performance lens that is able to create unique atmospheres. It will be really "painful" to have to return it to its rightful owner! Lens highly recommended!
sent on 07 Aprile 2021 Pros: construction, sharpness, range Cons: price (?) Opinion: Only to indicate that the price of the new lens in question (Nital) is equal to 2,190.00 euros and not as indicated above "The current price of the Nikon AF-S 24mm f/1.4 G ED for Nikon F is 979 €" I do not know if communicating it in this way is appropriate, if it were not the administrators can safely delete my review
sent on 14 Dicembre 2019 Pros: Optical, blurry quality, backlight management, dynamic range, construction Cons: Diaphragm 1.4 some normal chromatic aberration and coma on the margins but always behaves better than a zoom Opinion: Great construction that should be magnesium alloy that many confuse with plastic. I had two models that I could test; I can argue that there may be performance variations between one model is L other. Almost absent distortion, vignette only at 1.4 and 1.8, incredible blur, backlight with very few flares, refraction almost absent even with closed diaphragm. You'd appreciate it even better with a 100 mpx Rating 10/10 sensor
sent on 26 Novembre 2018 Pros: Spatiality, sharpness, solidity Cons: "Comes out" really with proper bodies, of course megapixels Opinion: Absolutely extraordinary lens, you really appreciate it for what it's worth only with equally extraordinary bodies. With the D850 is absolutely monstrous, incredible detail, nuances of fairy tale color, truly a moving rendition. I tried it in comparison with the 24 Art, with the 25 Zeiss and with the Nikon 14-24 but on the 45 mpxl there is no story, the Nikon 24 F 1.4 seems to comparison seems to be built on Mars while others seem broken. Excellent on set portrait and street, autofocus fast and especially accurate. And there is to say that it is one of the few optics from the appropriate price, really worth that bang that costs! They are also excellent used around 1000-1200 euros, and at that price is a bargain. I feel sorry for those who think differently but the comparison with art is really irreverent, there is no history...
sent on 03 Febbraio 2018 Pros: Stunning focus, definition already at full aperture. Cons: The presence on the market of the Sigma focal length, and the cost, but it is found in used at more affordable prices. Opinion: Stunning lens for blur and definition, one of the best fixed by Nikon, ever. And still today one of the few lenses able to "hold" the stunning sensor of the Nikon D850. It has unique characteristics, such as a Bokeh that is rarely found in a wide angle of this, but today the fantastic Sigma Art 24 mm penalizes it somewhat with its low cost.rnNe I wrote long ago a long article where I compared it with 28 f1 .4 Nikon Afd, who wants to can read it here: http: //brunomora.blogspot.it/2014/02/nikkor-28-mm-f14-afd-asph-e-nikkor-24.html

sent on 25 Febbraio 2017 Pros: Pleasantness of focus and sharpness Cons: Image soft diaphragm fully open price. Opinion: I used it on D4 and D 810 and that's fine by F 2 onwards, while at full aperture gives images a bit 'too soft for modern perspective, but closed a little' is crystal clear, it is no ottimo.rnrnL'AF praise without shame, in media.rnrnE 'fairly light, but the plasticky build, and the hood is simply ridiculous for a view of that prezzo.rnrnOttica valid, but the price is high.
sent on 12 Maggio 2016 Pros: Excellent in all its features, suitable for all people who practice street, reportage and portrait set. Cons: Price, but has a 'used which is located in human prices. Opinion: It is a perspective for tutti.Questa statement is not intended as a form of classism and / or photographic skills, but the photographic needs. We must have clear the possibilities that offers a bright, wide-angle, where the last feature to understand is the luminosità.Ciò that can be achieved with a view like that in closed rooms, in the crowd and in other situations it can be only understand and possessing utilizzandolo.Naturalmente must try and appreciate that kind of result would otherwise have spent money inutilmente.rnEccellente microcontrast also the focal aperte.rnIl mine is virtually "welded" on body.E 'perspective that deserves a river of words but I think that it is enough as well, seeing is believing .... rnrnSalutirnRoberto
sent on 16 Novembre 2015 Pros: construction, materials, plasticity, sharpness Cons: Cost Opinion: Cost is the only thing out of measure, this optics should cost as much as the 85 afs 1.4 to be more palatable. The construction is the same as the solid construction of '85, the instantaneous and precise. Sharpness, plasticity and three-dimensionality are legend, it really is a top lens. However, owning them, I can say that it does not reach the peaks of the 25 Zeiss nor the sharpness of the 24 Art. But, believe me, it is without a shadow of a doubt the best 24 Nikon ever built!
sent on 02 Giugno 2015 Pros: Sharpness, Three-dimensionality, Brightness, Defocussed, Backlit Yield Cons: Price, Construction Opinion: One of the funniest in optical trade, opens the door to lots of interpretation of reality. I especially enjoyed his three-dimensionality in making the subject into focus with respect to the out of focus and its extreme sharpness especially from f2.8 on throughout the frame; spectacular night shots and astrophotography. After trying the 24 ART also I can tell you that these are of a Nikkor inarrivato any Sigma ART though they cost 3 times as much and are less sharp at RT. Shall be tested and understood, certainly at first glance they may seem out of the market but have an extra something that can be appreciated only on the field and not on Imatest.
sent on 27 Novembre 2014 Pros: Sharpness, solid construction, fast AF, low weight, weather sealed, blurred magical and fantastic colors. Cons: Suffers slightly from a coma at the edges when used in TA. Price of the new exaggerated. Opinion: E 'became my best friend, it is always with me in any output and does not disappoint mai.rnNelle out at night and / or in low light conditions is a guarantee for the photos and landscape-astronomical is unsurpassed! RNE 'was my first photographic madness, before moving on to the FF and are satisfied with every penny for this lens. Highly recommended, especially if purchased used.

sent on 10 Marzo 2014 Pros: compact, can not find it absolutely heavy, fantastic at the edges and backlit. quality 'in contrasto.Nitidezza wide open, shallow depth of campo.rn Cons: price used is a bargain anyway Opinion: what about love at first sight. I bet the 35mm 1.4, but having a d7000, for now, I thought I'd use it as a 35. a handyman. and 'a disk. Well testing and 'satisfactory if not excellent, I can not imagine what it might do in fx .. but already' know then. to have in their kit lenses absolutely. if you use your legs can 'easily substitute the famed 14-24 zoom or others. great for reportage. try wide open for a portrait ...
sent on 31 Gennaio 2014 Pros: Construction, quality and image rendering, tonal passages passages from fire to fire off gradual and pleasant, ability to open the shadows. Cons: Price and a pronounced vignetting at full aperture. Opinion: I have for some months and it took the love incondizionato.rnL'ho taken with the idea of ??using it instead of 17-35 in the outputs and read in a week it has supplanted! RNE 'wonderful color rendering very classic Nikon without excessive contrast and saturation that characterizes some of the recent accomplishments of the house, such as 14-24.rnL'autofocus is fast, quiet and precise (I use it on a D700) .rnLa sharpness is excellent and especially uniform throughout the field as it is also beautiful passage from the areas in focus to those outside fuoco.rnLa PDC very low enables, in combination with the focal shots very unique and creative beyond the classic landscape. For example, I use it also for portraits ambientati cut particolare.rnLa construction is great with a solid body (tropicalized) magnesium coated with a thin layer of plastic to protect the precious water materiale.rnInsomma ultimately for me is really a lens to have (purchase price permitting) in your kit.
sent on 22 Gennaio 2013 Pros: Amazing sharpness already at 1.4. High possibility of shots thanks to the reduced original pdc. rn Cons: Cost of the new far too high. I found it used in almost half of the new and I got it on the fly but again it's really a nice blow. Autofocus is not fast Opinion: I bought this lens a few months ago and since then I take it out more from the camera body. It gives you shots not possible with any other wide-angle zoom. In low-light is the wide ideale.rnA my opinion can easily replace a zoom type 17-35 or 14-24 and give occasions more than these (then I'm biased because I love to landlines). RnConfermo the solid construction that gives the feeling of having in his hands an instrument worthy dell'amatore evolved and professionista.rnDavvero satisfied and I can not help but recommend it.
sent on 05 Ottobre 2012 Pros: Sharpness wide open, shallow depth of field, great feeling of three-dimensionality Cons: cost? Opinion: exceptional optics, in fact worth all the money it costs. Sharpest since f1.4, can be a very creative optical thanks to the reduced depth of campo.rnCostruzione solid and effective sealing. Not light, but normal for in 1.4. Made three-dimensional and very good contrast. What else to say, perfect for reportage and low-light situations.
