Pros: Versatility and quality

Cons: weight

Opinion: What can I say... It is an excellent optic with an extraordinary performance. Combined with the SL3 it produces files that, if printed, make superlative images. Someone complains about the change of aperture 2.8 to 4 but I don't complain because in my opinion it is there and if we then reason like Leica that guarantees sharpness and contrast already at maximum aperture it is evident that the change of aperture is to be able to have perfection. Other lenses sold with 2.8 brightness but which reach perfection at 4 or 5.6... 4 or 5.6 directly!!! Weight and dimensions with lens hood are felt after a while but you get used to it knowing what results you get. I also have the 90/280 which is qualitatively excellent and that combined with the 24/90 offers you a complete set in two lenses to be able to do almost everything. Everyone complains about the prices but... Try to think that these lenses can last for years, covering a range from 24 to 280, you take them by making an effort once and for years you are quiet so much better you can't find!!

Pros: Fast, quiet, sharp

Cons: heavy, expensive, not having it

Opinion: The feeling immediately is that of being (behind) an extraordinary target. The weight with the Panasonic S5 II is not felt because it is very well balanced. After all, the robustness and substance of this lens translates into enormous quality. I tested it indoors, especially portraits and I must say that the colors of the complexion left me speechless. True, extraordinarily true. On Leica prices we know, it is useless to discuss it here.

Pros: speed, brightness, versatility

Cons: weight

Opinion: The Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 24-90mm f/2.8-4 ASPH is a blade, superversatile lens, on every occasion it gives the best of itself. whether they are portraits or street. Certainly it is not a spindle to carry with you, together with the SL2 it forms a super pairing. I've owned it for three years, fabulous... I would say that Leica makes them and then pairs them ..

Pros: Fast autofocus, sturdy construction, tropicalization, unparalleled sharpness.

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: The most beautiful of existing zooms, fast, unparalleled sharpness, fantastic construction, lens covering most needs. I am delighted to have bought it and would recommend buying this zoom to anyone who owns a leica SL or SL2. A true masterpiece of the Leica house. As the price, it is fully justified by its quality.

Pros: Overall image quality, build quality with four aspheric elements and eleven elements made of abnormal partial dispersion glass to correct chromatic aberrations; Af fast, precise and silent; stabilization, really "indestructible" optics as massive as it is

Cons: Total weight and footprint

Opinion: To date, the optics in question remains the only native SL lens that covers many of my needs and does so magnificently in two aspects: precise and very fast AF and image quality quietly comparable to fixed optics. The minimum focus distance of only 30 cm from the wide-angle side and a maximum playback ratio of 1:3.8 from the canvas side offer interesting creative opportunities. In my opinion it has very high optical performance at all fire distances; the relationship between sharpness and softness allows you to pick up next to details of the subject engraved also of the beautiful and very soft transitions of fire between the various planes of the same. This zoom has a very high contrast at both the macro and micro levels, and this translates into images with extreme clarity and detail, giving the feeling of a huge depth. Its optical image stabilization system quietly compensates for 3 camera shaking stops. The Aqua-Dura protective treatment® which protects the front element from scratches and weather allows you to use the optics in question even in the worst weather conditions. In my opinion, very recommended

Pros: Cheap stabilized - af fast

Cons: Weight - Price

Opinion: Zoom lens with high optical performance without compromise but with rather high weight and overall dimensions. Quality image to be fixed lens (not Leica M, those are something else again) in a zoom. The Af is voloce and accurate definitely the fastest mirrorless world. SLR, do not know ..... Definitely comparable to the best SLR but better to absolute world as stated, I have doubts ... Maybe able to perfect lighting ..
