sent on 04 Novembre 2025 Pros: Build quality, ridiculously priced, blurry, natural color rendering, soft and pleasant bokeh, integrated and retractable hood Cons: Weight, minimum focusing distance of 1.8 meters, no perspective correction Opinion: Tested and purchased for Nikon Z50, it immediately conveys a feeling of reliability. The metal body is massive, the integrated lens hood is comfortable and functional (even if a little small). The optical performance is amazing for a lens in this price range: paid less than 40 euros with original case and perfect lenses. At full aperture it offers good sharpness, closing the aperture becomes excellent. The colors are natural, slightly warm. I mainly use it to isolate elements such as statues, capitals, windows or decorations from a distance and urban photography from a distance (infinity focus works very well). With M42 adapter and program A it is perfect. After a while the weight is felt, the focus is smooth, with long travel. It's not ideal for moving subjects, and the minimum focusing distance of 1.8 meters is definitely a limit for close-up detail photos. Ultimately it's a lens that forces you to slow down, think about the shot, and enjoy the photographic process. I recommend it to those looking for a vintage telephoto lens with character, excellent performance at an affordable price. It's not perfect, but it has personality to spare. I forgot: it is mandatory to use the left hand to support the weight and avoid, over time, possible damage to the camera graft.
sent on 01 Febbraio 2021 Pros: Rock solid fixed, very affordable price Cons: Lampshade, weight, not very bright despite the texture and appearance Opinion: Bought for a few euros, m42 and of course FF, practically universal, it is a little less sharp than the EF 200 f2.8 II L Canon and also the EF 70-200 f2.8 II L a TA, but perhaps with a review in assistance (30 neuri) could improve. Heavy, of obvious military approach. It seems to be made especially for those in Russia who are always wearing gloves and therefore care if it is cold to the touch. It has three rings but evidently the only one that counted was that of the focal length, extended moooooolto, while instead the focal opening resolves to a few degrees of angular variation, noisy, not at all comfortable: they seem to say "do not touch me on mission". This setting, this Siberian education, as a soldier with gloves, is visible precisely in the construction of the focal length ring: a grip never ambiguous, very fluid, very precise, of quality without uncertainty. Having said that it is a lens that can still say its in full light, it has little distortion as you can expect from this focal length. The lampshed is ridiculously small, but made especially so as not to be lost. Ultimately, having it or not having it does not change the life of those who make a talk of money immobilized in a drawer, and in the meantime it is there, waiting for its moment, like a faithful and not at all annoying dog, a little rustic.
sent on 23 Marzo 2020 Pros: Construction, yield, cost. Cons: Full-opening yield Opinion: I must have some problems with Jupiter targets... is the second one I sell and buy back after repenting. Great construction, rather heavy optics, all metal. The full-opening yield, as per the tradition of optics former USSR, is a bit "flou", but, incredibly, it becomes excellent by closing the diaphragm a bit. Nothing to say, if it is a focal point that serves, for a short time you manage to have a respectable perspective and good build quality.
sent on 01 Marzo 2020 Pros: Great especially if you have apsc. To be bought along with a support ring and a lever to facilitate focus. With an extension tube you can also use it for macros. With a 2x on apsc it becomes a 600 even if you lose a bit of sharpness but a 600 to 150 euros I think you can't find it. Cons: Don't use it backlight or you will make the disaster. Weigh so much bought support ring for lens and not machine. Opinion: If one approaches telephoto lenses it's a great start. Also because having a 200 fixed to new f4 costs you the ir of Ddio Great especially if you have apsc. To be bought along with a support ring and a lever to facilitate focus. With an extension tube you can also use it for macros. With a 2x on apsc it becomes a 600 even if you lose a bit of sharpness but a 600 to 150 euros I think you can't find it.
sent on 19 Novembre 2019 Pros: Incredible construction, good photo yield, crisp, beautiful blurry, ridiculous price Cons: Weight (it's a tank... all iron and glass) and no tressses attack. A little aberration Opinion: Let's say. It's a 70s Russian lens.... military-derived. But it is a lens that, if you do not give it a euro, surprises in all respects. We also consider that it is prime lens ... it is only a 200mm with all the optical advantages that come with it (for others maybe a disadvantage, because it is inflexible). Clean, sharp, some chromatic imperfection in some optical conditions, but absolutely solvable. Nice built-in lampshade (at least in my version). yes, okay, it's heavy, and the lack of a tresscan attack affects, but... Guys... that slow. I mounted it on my sony (with the a6000 comes to 300mm and on the a7II). very satisfied. Considering that it is between 20 and 40 euros.... i don't add anything else.
sent on 24 Ottobre 2019 Pros: Photo quality, sharpness, blurry. Low price compared to other very expensive lenses. Photo results. M42 attack that mounts with adapters on almost everything. Built-in lampshade. Filter diameter 58 mm . Cons: Absence of tripod attack and maybe only manual focus and weight, but to have excellent results, a little you have to suffer and it's worth it. Opinion: I own this wonderful lens that I used first with adapter on a fuji xm-1, then on canon and then on sony-minolta. The results, from my point of view, are excellent. It detaches the subject very much from the background and has a very pleasant bokeh. in a manual is really fun and if you don't have to do photo shoots or special things, it leaves you time to take more thoughtful and different photos from the ones everyone does. Of course, the lens and the photographer are two different things, but this also matters a lot ! The weight may be the only one against, but if you take another 200 mm of excellent workmanship, they will certainly not be feathers. The pleasure of shooting with a lens like this, with a unique character, is an experience to try !
sent on 24 Ottobre 2019 Pros: Robustness, optical lens quality, impressive sharpness Cons: Weight, absence of the tripod fastening ring, internal reflections that break down the optical quality (correctable), manual focus that at 400mm eq. it limits its use a lot Opinion: I've had this lens for more than 20 years and it's always been love and hate. I didn't understand why he went crazy from time to time making the photographs tarred until I happened to read on the internet that he has problems with an internal plate that reflects the light. I then used the lens as a telescope by putting it close to the eye to understand the point of view of the sensor, I pointed out towards the light and realized that that plate does not reflect but even dazzles the sensor! I then shielded the plate with a matte black cloth and black felts (the ones used at the foot of the chairs). I use this lens with the micro 4/3 system, so I take advantage of the central part of the lens by doubling its actual focus to 400mm, so the added thicknesses do not interfere with the sensor. This is the photo of the saucer: https://postimg.cc/RqQtSwgn This is the embarrassing before and after: https://postimg.cc/ZvZJsBNG This is the whole photo of the example: https://postimg.cc/7fH2fbRt With the edit now I have practically another lens, with a completely different character and I take a few months to complete this review. Update: I confirm that the plate change has completely changed the character of the lens. Sharp photos at all openings, the better you have at f5.6. Now the only suffering is the manual focus that for certain situations is very penalizing, otherwise it is a jewel!
sent on 02 Aprile 2018 Pros: Very vintage and pleasant photo rendering. Nice blurred in the background if the distance from the subject is adequate. You find it cheaply. Resistant Cons: A bit 'of chromatic aberrations but not very annoying. The weight is really important, we are talking about a mini metal and glass tank. Someone in my opinion should build something to allow you to use the tripod. Opinion: It's a vintage lens that I found among the things of my grandmother and therefore I did not have great ambitions. Evidently I had to change my mind. During an evening at the theater the lens was even better than the Nikon 55-200 f / 4.5-5.6. Of course, if you're tired of heavy tools, this lens is not for you. It is completely made of metal and glass, which makes it very resistant. Every now and then there are chromatic aberrations but nothing disastrous. Taking into account the fact that this lens is on the market at a price of around € 70, I think it is absolutely worth it. I would also spend € 50 more to take it if I did not have it. Very "soft" light that makes the photos pleasant. I advise. It also makes you do exercises for the biceps.
sent on 01 Marzo 2018 Pros: indestructible, good yield, interesting blur, very low price Cons: weight (but it is all metal and glass), a bit 'dark, missing hook for tripod Opinion: be prepared to support almost a kilo of glass and metal, this lens weighs almost as much as a 2.8 canvas! the construction is impeccable, we could break the nuts, and despite its years my sample looks really new. it should definitely be used outdoors, given the minimum distance to focus and the lack of brightness. like the other lenses of his time he suffers the conroluce, but nothing disastrous. blurred important and interesting, with the right light gives great shots, given the price is definitely worth having it in the kit.
sent on 07 Marzo 2017 Pros: Sharpness and contrast ratio of valuable objectives and famous name Cons: considerable weight although partly justified by military-style building. Lacks a tripod mount on fiber Opinion: In relation to the price paid 40 Euros for a specimen like new, complete with case and instructions ..and 'mostruoso.Delle beautiful images effettuatte with a Sony Mirrorless A5000.rnVisto the heavy weight around kg..si recommended aquisto of a 70mm ring (usually 68mm) to mount it on cavalletto.rnIl hood built is comfortable though not enorme.rnAccoppiato for a good focal doubler can 'become a great super tele for pictures naturalistiche.rn
sent on 15 Marzo 2015 Pros: Very high quality, low price for a 200mm fixed. Cons: Prices are rising as for all optical vintage. It weighs a little bit but it is very solid. Opinion: I bought this lens to have a fixed 200mm of great quality at a truly budget price. I was satisfied after using just the first volta.rnAvevo already a minimum hand in the use of optical full manual (and I slide for maf manual on canon 60d) and I must say that this objective as well as having a built enviable as to strength and materials (resulting in weight gain!) is also very good quality and photographs that churns are ottime.rnPersonalmente not find the weight of a defect, it, gives me a nice solid feel and you can handle very well freehand (no shooting almost never with the tripod).
| sent on 05 Luglio 2014 Pros: ... Cons: ... Opinion: I recently found out that you have this lens I used it only 2 times. In ritatto I did decent photos. At bioparco a little 'less because I find it hard to focus manually even faster because of peso.Dovrei try monopiede.obiettivo very sharp. I did not understand if applying between it and my Sony Alpha 100 l 'adapter M42-SONY Alpha something better! Rn06, 07.2014 I just found this explanation on Wikipedia after reading a note on this subject made by the vineyard 88. | sent on 23 Maggio 2013 Pros: 200mm fixed cost good optical performance and very solid Cons: To infinity loses punch against the disastrous for some could be heavy and of course full manual. Opinion: Optics in my opinion ecceuzionale 50 euro better spent on a vetro.rnAd a first approach with manual lenses may seem cumbersome, but it is mastered in a short time with a lot of pissed soddisfazione.rnLo 20d and the complex actually pesantino but nothing impossible .. . RNA is relatively soft wide open but closed one stop is incredibly detailed and nitidio over short distances, pointing toward the horizon to infinity misfires and backlight completely sbarella but overall it does its job very well. |
sent on 16 Maggio 2013 Pros: very low price, fixed lens, solid construction Cons: heavy, not excellent optical quality, a bit dark Opinion: memory of my father, it is a perspective that is more like a shell cannon, of weight and construction, all-metal, I personally would break easily if one foot out of hand, relatively inexpensive (the network is also within 40euro) is not is nothing exceptional after all, has a discutibilissimo hood and the aperture ring is prone to damage, some people (I have tested 3) and in particular mine, have fingerprints of those who have mounted on an inside! however, is not to throw it clear
