Pros: Build quality, file, size and weight, display and menu (and yes: the aesthetics!)

Cons: It lacks stabilization, just to have to say one...

Opinion: I come from Sigma SD4h, Leica M9 and this Hasselblad is giving me real pleasure in seeing what it can offer. I won't repeat anything about the specific features, because everyone - rightly - can find faults where others find merits: the way I shoot, I can only say that I am happy. In love with the black and white of the SD4h and the colors of the M9, I made the leap to the X1Dii with some fear of not doing the right thing. I did it :-) The black and white is spectacular and the colors are very natural. The remarkable detail and ease of use of the machine makes me click with ease. And then, after a diffident start, I find the proprietary Phocus software very good: compared with other programs, I'm moving more and more on it in the "development" of RAW. In the "Cons" I mentioned the lack of stabilization, but the shutter is so soft and discreet and the camera so well balanced and with an excellent grip that - at the moment - I didn't miss it (I use the 45mm. Maybe with the 90mm I would feel it...)

Pros: Ergonomics,sensor,jpeg,colors,file quality

Cons: AF,fixed screen,few customizable keys,lack of IBIS,battery a bit undersized,cost optics

Opinion: Bought a few weeks ago I have not yet had the opportunity to squeeze it deeply, I must say that for now I am fully satisfied with it. The ergonomics are fantastic, well balanced in the hand, the files are really remarkable and the colors are pretty much faithful to what you see live (even the jpegs are exceptional). As said by many it is a camera for reasoned shots, so no action. Being a 5-year-old camera you also feel some shortcomings: the battery is undersized and you hardly get to 3/400 shots, not having the ibis you have to pay attention to the shutter speeds. For my use, however, the merits are definitely greater than the defects and I am satisfied with them. Last thing... it's not a cheap camera and even the optics cost (but they are exceptional), if you want the MF spending a little less there is Fuji (but aesthetically I love this one... looks like a work of art)

Pros: The sensor, the colors (there's none for any), the dynamic range, even amazing jpeg files.

Cons: It's not a camera for hunting, but you know, so what is the con?

Opinion: Scandinavian design with excellent ergonomics and ease of use, indistinguishable for the quality of the images produced, not even my Fuji 100s... very good optics, the best adapted Canon (or e.g. Zeiss for Canon) give very good results. The adapted optics of the V and H systems are also good. Focusing with X-series lenses is lightning-fast and precise. If someone expects something that hasn't even been stated or promised, they will be disappointed. Personally, I am the happy owner of it.

Pros: File, aesthetics and ergonomics

Cons: Focus unlikely

Opinion: I bought it, immediately conquered by the ergonomics and the high-sounding name. After very few tests, the absolute disappointment. You only save the file and when the focus is good . For the rest, I gave it up as soon as possible! Today I am a happy owner of a GFX 50 s II. I heard a friend who changed the 50 Hasselblad for the 100 and he tells me that the focus is basically the same stuff. Maybe I'm wrong, but I would never go back. But Sweden today exports Greta....

Pros: Image quality, materials, large and sharp display, overall beauty.

Cons: absence of face recognition, fixed display, rolling shutter.

Opinion: I used it for a couple of days at a workshop, quite "serious", for me the main shortcomings are the fixed screen, the absence of face / eye recognition (absurd in 2022 for a 6000 € machine), and the electronic shutter of a disarming slowness. Had they improved these things I think there are no rivals, the experience of use and the quality in general, of the display, of the materials, of the photos is at the highest levels. Beautiful to look at and use.

Pros: Build quality, reliability, ease of use, practically perfect color rendering combined with a decidedly high quality of optics.

Cons: Slow, but precise autofocus; it is certainly a machine for using the "thought" image.

Opinion: Purchased new for about a month with almost complete set of optics, it immediately turned out to be a surprise! After spending a decade with Leica S2, 007, I think I've finally found a file to my liking, which somehow "remembers" the film. Superlative color rendering, ease of use, practically almost perfect shooting, all excellent and exciting optics.

Pros: Build quality, simplicity (but you have to know how to photograph), superlative image quality.

Cons: Cost, optical cost, the sensor, immense, not protected by anything, is dusty with extreme ease, to really appreciate it you have to print and print large, monitor .... it is not worth it.

Opinion: Purchased used (giving back historical pieces to film that now took only the dust), it is not a camera for everyone (not only for the economic aspect, used we are on the order of high-end FF cameras), it is not a camera comparable to the others, the "defects" that are attributed to it are present, but, in my opinion, they are not defects, it is not a stain on action! If you need speed, don't even look at it. If you do not need the speed is excellent, easy to use (you have to know how to photograph), it is easy to manage, it is a bit like returning to film .... with all the advantages of digital! Extraordinary files, colors, sharpness, contrast, dynamic range, you know the optical film bench, well, we are there. If the photo does not come, the fault lies with the photographer. For the "normal" photographic genres (landscape, portrait, travel photos, etc.) it is perfect, the speed is more than enough (I normally used Leica rangefinder without light meter, with external light meter, never had speed problems, just know how to do), and in addition it has the autofocus, for me it has become essential since presbyopia was added to myopia, the speed of the autofocus is sufficient for "normal" situations. Then it does not vibrate, micromosso absent, even in the hand, with appropriate times (there is no comparison with SLRs). If you love reflective and accurate photography it is wonderful, it really makes you return the pleasure of making (in the sense of building, it is nice to make the journey, not just get to the destination) photographs. If you can, it is absolutely recommended, just use it for what it is designed for, looking and, above all, printing the files you will be impressed and ....you will forget all the "inconveniences". Lucky that still are made cameras like that, even if the mobiles go .... great, but it's not the same, at least for me!
